Run code\function after stopping a QTP\UFT script

Hi,
I have a scenario where I want to perform some tasks (like zipping and attaching files to QC) after my UFT\QTP script is stopped.
The script can stop in all these scenarios:
1.) forcefully manual-stop the script
2.) run-time errors
3.) script test fail (exittest) condition
4.) script successfully ended.
I have tried calling the function (which zips and attaches files to QC) inside my script.
But, disadvantages are:
1.) i have to be very specific at what are the places of code i want to insert this code into.
2.) its a huge performance issue, each time i call this function: it does all these tasks "everytime"...zipping and attaching files.
I just want this function to be called just once, after the QTP script has been stopped.
Is this possible, please help me out.

There's no need of threads for what you mean to do. You may use [*JDialog*|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/javax/swing/JDialog.html] or [*JOptionPane*|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/javax/swing/JOptionPane.html] for that.

EDirectory8.8-SP8 (SLES11,HYPERV) crash after stopping XDAS

Hello,
can somebody help us, has somebody any idea what could be the reason for the following behavior?
we have the problem, that one of our 4 eDirectory8.8 SP8-servers in SLES11 (Patchlevel 2) on HYPERV cores (couple of hours) after we stop the "xdasauditds"-modul
(the fact that this server did not not crash in the period of more than 6 weeks in which no "xdasauditds" was running, make us think that xdasauditds
is the reason for the crashes).
the another three eDirectory-server on SLES11 do not have any problems with xdasauditds running or afterwards (after stopping xdasauditds).
one of these three servers has also IDM4.0.2.0-DirXML-Drivers running as the "problematic" one, but no crashes occur on this server.
On the server which has problems with XDAS, we audit approximately 1 Million events per 8 hours (we stop xdasauditds after 8 hours)

what we noticed, is that ndsd.log contains "src/system-alloc.cc:423] SbrkSysAllocator failed." - logs
(this failure occurs also if ndsd does not crash and occurs with no xdasauditds running)

Workbook not refresh after running Planning Function (BI-IP)

Hi! Folks,
I have a problem with the Bex Analyser which not refresh the data after running Planning Function.
Step 1: Run Planning Function (There are some changes in records)
Step 2: I have to Run Process Variables again and input the same selection in the pop-up variables
Step 3: The changed records will be shown...
Can I have some coding in the Layouts of Bex Analyzer to refresh the data after running Planning Function?

Hi,
I had a similar problem that the resuls of my planning function were not automatically shown. Only if I did "something else" like saving or running another function the results were displayed.
I think I solved it by upgrading my SAP GUI6.4 with patch 14. the results of planning functions should be automatically displayed.

Unit test: Want to run test case after async test function?

On flash builder i decide to do unit test for my .as class. I did few unit test. Working fine. But now i want to write unit test for the following case:
I wrote a [Test(async)] function to find the loading class working fine or not.Its working fine.
On load complete i am able to read the data and store the data on the test class variables.
I want to run all other [Test] case function after completion of the xml load function.How to do that?

I deleted the mouse by selecting it in the bluetooth options and clicking the minus tab. I went ahead and reinstalled OS X right afterwards. Right now I am having to use a USB mouse and keyboard. I disconnected both prior to start up. I get a widow that shows a demonstration on how to install batteries into a wireless mouse only way to pass that screen was to reattach the USB mouse. Then with a fresh startup no resolve.

I have an app that crashes when I run one function, but no one else I know with the same app experiences the crash. I checked my Diagnostics

I have an app called Astrogold that crashes when I run one function, but no one else I know with the same app experiences the crash. The app writes several different reports, and gives the option of sending them as PDF files. All the other reports generate fine, but one of them....and that one crashes the app while it is trying to generate the report.
Note: it only crashes the display. If I double click the home button I see the app itself is still running.
I checked my Diagnostics & Usage data, and noticed that every time the app crashes a LowMemory report is created. I looked at the LowMemory report and see that the Largest process is Astrogold. But I don't see any reports with the name of the app itself.
I have an iPhone 5c, and according to iTunes I have 2.25 GB Free.

This is the only thing I had not done before I posted my initial request for help. I will work on that....it's a last resort I was hoping not to do, but it sounds like I've already done everything else.

Function keys stop working

For a while now, I've been encountering a problem where functions keys stop working. Pressing F8 (for spaces) or F12 (for widgets) will simply yield a "bonk".
Another symptom is that processes which open on a desktop other than the current one will fail to open because the desktop seems reluctant to switch.
I know other people have experienced similar problems because there is a post about spaces' keyboard shortcuts not working. The issue has not been resolved for many many weeks now.
I use a logitech wireless keyboard and trackball (with the logitech control application installed)
Sometimes this error will occur immediately after booting up. Sometimes it will go for days working fine. I consistently have 4 applications running:
- iTunes
- Thunderbird
- Firefox
- Adium
The other most common apps I run are:
- Quicktime
- Aperture
- iMovie
- Preview
Yet Another symptom of the problem is that the machine will refuse to shut down or restart. If I kill every "windowed" process in Activity Monitor, the machine will STILL fail to shut down. Ultimately, I have to do a 5-second hard power-down.
Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am running into the same issue
I use a Logitech Wireless Mouse.
The switch Spaces keys, F9/F10/F11 for Expose are not working either, the Mute/F10 Vol Up, Vol Down F11 and F12 work as does the Eject button.
F18 Show Dashboard or F4 Show Dashboard don't work either.

Buttons after stop(); wont work; how can I FIX this

Buttons after stop code (vidPlayer.stop();) wont work.
I figured out the stop code needed to stop my videos from playing when you click another button, but with my stop code being on top of my "gotandStop("label")" my buttons doesn't perform that function. I take the vidPlayer.stop(); off the buttons the buttons work fine, but then my videos wont stop playing when I click another button. Help, how I can get my buttons back working and still stop my videos from continuely playing when another button is clicked.
Below is my code:

dear friends,
i have loaded my swf in an html/ aspx page. when i click a button in html page, i want to pause my swf movie. Actually swf has another movie clip i want to stop that. any option pls help me. possible send me some sample coadings.. i tried with externalInterface but no result..
or if i click a button in html page, i want to run a function existing in loaded swf....
