Run Multiple report with one click

hi
I have 60 reports with me and i want to run all 60 reports with one click. Is it possible to fire next report at the end of previous using code?????
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Swapnil,
Yes it can be done in many ways. But you will need to analyze what exactally is required and what kind of reports are to be executed in sequence. WHats the report supposed to do, do they need to send some file or some data to external world, does it need to display any output?
From within the program you can use the SUBMIT command to call each report program one after the other. Or schedule all the 60 reports in a background job such that each report is executed in each step.
There are many other ways but i am really not sure why there is such a request? This is something really out of the odd :-).
Hope this helps
Cheers

  • Run multiple reports with one button

Hello, I am new to Oracle Form Builder and I have a generic form built that has a button the user will press to run a specified report. I'm wondering if it's possible to use the same form with the one run report button to print multiple reports at the same time. Is this possible?

I recommend that you start here:
    http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/10_commandments_for_the_otn_fo
You can do just about anything in Forms if you are creative enough. However, exactly how you do it will partially depend on things like which version you are using, the platforms (OS on client and server), and the preferred behavior you would like to see.
Here is an older document whch explains how to integrate Forms/Reports. This old doc mostly still applies to the latest versions.

    Rana,
I found this in the Forms online Help. You could easily found it yourself. Don't be afraid of pressing CTRL-H:

  • Multiple tasks with one click

My work involves manually changing multiple lines to a different graphic style, and then moving that line to a different layer.  As it is now, I am changing the graphic styles, choosing Select < Same < Fill & Stroke, and then moving the lines to the appropriate layer.  I am wanting to know if there is a way to change the graphic style, and move the line to the different layer with one click.  I'm ignorant when it comes to scripting, but was wondering if there are any scripts that would perform this function.

You need to fully explain the setup. Otherwise, people making suggestions are just guessing. Here's my suggestion, based on what little information you have provided:
You don't need a script for this; you can do it with a set of very simple Actions. Example:
Assume your repetitive task requires three Layers, named Red, Green, and Blue. On each Layer, all objects need to have the same Graphic Style applied.
    1. New document. Create three Layers. Name them Red, Green, and Blue.
    2. Define three Graphic Styles. Name them Red, Green, and Blue.
    3. Draw an object (any object; a square, a line, whatever). Send it to Layer Red. In the Attributes Palette, type "Red" into its Note field. (This effectively "names" the object "Red".
    4. Draw an object, Send it to Layer Green. Type "Green" in its Note.
    5. Draw an object. Send it to Layer Blue. Type "Blue" in its Note.
    6. Draw an object on Layer Red. Select it.
    7. Actions Palette: New Action. Name the Action "Red." Set its color to red. Start recording:
    7.1 Edit>Cut
    7.2 Edit>PasteInFront
    7.3 Apply Graphic Style Red
    7.4 Stop recording.
8 Actions Palette: Select the Cut step. From the flyout menu select Select Object.... In the resulting dialog, enter "Red". OK the dialog. The Action should now have a new Set Selection step listed after the Cut step.
    9. Actions Palette flyout menu: Button Mode.
Now you have an Action named Red that appears as a red button in the Actions palette. Select an object. Click the button. The object is moved to Layer Red, and gets Graphic Style Red.
    10. Turn off Button Mode. Duplicate the Action. DoubleClick the duplicate. Change its name to Green and its color to green. Edit its Set Selection step to select the object named Green. Replace its Graphic Style step with a step that applies Graphic Style Green.
    11. Similarly duplicate and edit one of the two Actions to create a Blue Action. Put the Actions palette back in Button Mode.
Now you can select any number of objects, and then move them to the Red, Green, or Blue Layer and apply the appropriate Graphic Style wiht one click.
Now come back and reveal the specifics of your actual situation which renders all that work moot.

  • Download multiple reports in one hit

I am just wondering if there anyway to have apex to download multiple reports with one button?
The normal way I deal with reports is create the query within shared components, and then create a button on a page that links to the print URL of the report. What I am wondering if there is anyway to have a button that will download all reports in one go?
    Thanks for help in advance,
    Trent

    Trent,
Let's say you have two Report Queries, Employee and Department then if you want them to download with single button click
    Set button target as URL
    In URL section
    javascript:download_reports();In page HTML Header
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function download_reports()
    window.open('f?p='+'&APP_ID.'+':0:'+'&SESSION.'+':PRINT_REPORT=Employee');
    window.open('f?p='+'&APP_ID.'+':0:'+'&SESSION.'+':PRINT_REPORT=Department');
    </script>Regards,

    Hello,
To achieve this you can use the SUBMIT command after an user action.
    Example
The program report1 has a stand-alone selection screen with the screen number 1100. In the program report2, an internal table with row type RSPARAMS and a ranges table are filled for this selection screen. These are transferred at SUBMIT together with a single condition.
    Program accessed
    REPORT report1.
DATA text TYPE c LENGTH 10.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 1100.
      SELECT-OPTIONS: selcrit1 FOR text,
                      selcrit2 FOR text.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 1100.
    Calling program
    REPORT report2.
DATA: text       TYPE c LENGTH 10,
          rspar_tab  TYPE TABLE OF rsparams,
          rspar_line LIKE LINE OF rspar_tab,
          range_tab  LIKE RANGE OF text,
          range_line LIKE LINE OF range_tab.
    rspar_line-selname = 'SELCRIT1'.
    rspar_line-kind    = 'S'.
    rspar_line-sign    = 'I'.
    rspar_line-option  = 'EQ'.
    rspar_line-low     = 'ABAP'.
    APPEND rspar_line TO rspar_tab.
    range_line-sign   = 'E'.
    range_line-option = 'EQ'.
    range_line-low    = 'H'.
    APPEND range_line TO range_tab.
    range_line-sign   = 'E'.
    range_line-option = 'EQ'.
    range_line-low    = 'K'.
    APPEND range_line TO range_tab.
    SUBMIT report1 USING SELECTION-SCREEN '1100'
                   WITH SELECTION-TABLE rspar_tab
                   WITH selcrit2 BETWEEN 'H' AND 'K'
                   WITH selcrit2 IN range_tab
                   AND RETURN.

  • Run multiple apps from one browser windows with 9ias r2

We are running 9ias r1 with forms 6i as our production server. Users are able to access one html page with multiple links to their applications. They can run one application, keep it running, navigate back to the html page and run a second application.
We are testing 9ias r2 with forms 9i, but when users try to navigate back to the html page to run the second application the first application closes.
Is there a way to have 9ias r2 work the same as r1 and allow users to run multiple application from one html page?

    Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
You can take rdp of server 2012 R2 from Fedora Linux desktop by running Yum command or Gnome rdp support. Please check below article for information.

  • Multiple Reports inside one Single Report

    Post Author: maximus85
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
Hi....I'm having this problem of having multiple reports inside one single report. Basically what i wanted to built is a Dashboard that contains 4 main subjects:i)Sales   -    Contains graph that can be drill down for further detailsii)Internal Process   -  Contains tables that can be drill downiii)Profit/Lossiv)HRAs far as i know, since all four are of different fact table data, they cannot be all thrown inside one single report to be built on. So i came out with using subreports instead for each components and then finally putting them all together as subreport inside the main report(Dashboard). However, i just realized that by doing that, whenever i clicked on the reports that i wanted to drill down with, it will prompt that particular report that i clicked into a new page, and then from there only i can perform drill down.Is there anyway to enable me to straight away drill down the Sales and Internal Process reports from the main reports(Dashboard) instead of having to click twice as that will be unnecessary right?Or mayb if there's another better ways to do what I have to do? Please do advise and suggest......Thanks alot.......

    hi chack,
doesnt matter or preferrably both, as long as i can export all the reports in 1 page into 1 excel, or 1 pdf.

  • Run multiple reports simultaneously?

    Hi All,
We currently use a reports server with our oracle application server 10g install. The one problem we are experiencing is that when multiple reports are running all have to wait while the current one finishes. Is there a way to set up the reports server to run multiple reports at the same time instead of one after the other?
    Thanks
    Troy

    hi,
1st take a back up of original rep_<reportservername>.conf file and den make changes in report parameters as follows
    initEngine="3" maxEngine="4" minEngine="3"
and then restart the OC4j Bi forms, for the parameters to take effect.
The above setting means 3 reports engines will be always ready n initialized..
Once done, check it how does it perform..
if your still facing problem then create a new standalone report server and make one of ur application to point to this report server
If you want to create a standalone reports server and you DO want to administer
it via OPMN and EM then please use the following steps. **
    1- MIDTIERHOME\BIN> addNewServerTarget.bat reports_server_name
    2- MIDTIERHOME\opmn\BIN> opmnctl reload
    3- MIDTIERHOME\opmn\BIN> opmnctl startproc ias-component=<reports_server_name>
    4- MIDTIERHOME\opmn\BIN> opmnctl status
    PREREQUISITE:
When registering a standalone report server with OPMN/EM, if the report server
is running at the time the addNewServerTarget.bat (or, in unix:
addNewServerTarget.sh) command is invoked, the Report Server needs to be stopped
manually first (ie. in unix: "kill -9 pid" -OR- "rwserver.sh
    server=report_server_name shutdown=immediate authid=username/password &) BEFORE
the opmn registration using the 'addNewServerTarget' command is performed.:

  • Design a single template for multiple reports with different column order

    Hi,
I need to migrate the existing reports from SQL Server Reporting Services to Crystal Report 2008, and the column order in the report is very important to the clients since clients have existing code to ingest these reports into their database. Now I want to create a single template with lot of parameters for all reports. My question is how I might use one template to create multiple reports with different column orders in the reports?
For example, client A has the following column order in their report: firstName, LastName, DateBirth, SSN. Client B has the following column order in their report: SSN, DateBirth, LastName, FirstName. Can I use one template to create these multiple reports?
    Thanks in advance.

-As I mentioned you can find Template Field object in Insert menu of crystal report Designer 2008.
As soon as you select Template Field object you will be able to see a box beside ur mouse cursor. Drag and drop this box at required place. Now when you place this object in report you will get some thing like this "<TemplateField1>" listed under Formula Fields tree. Double click "<TemplateField1>" formula to add your conditions.
-I have not tested it for large amount of Customers. However as the number of customer increases the number of conditions will get increased.
For the customer that want the same ordering of columns you can put those customers under one condition.
        for Example...
              if(?Client in ['clientA','clientA']) then
                        <TableName>.<Field>......
-What do you mean be 40 columns? Do you mean 40 fields or you want to show 40 columns in report? Please elaborate.

As per your requirement run the Tcode VF04 (Billing Due list) and select the Delivery Documents for which you want to to have single Billing Document by clicking on Collective Billing document/Online  Push Button in that screen.
To Have Single Billing Document for Multiple Delivery you need to have Payer,Terms of Payment,Incoterms(part 1 and part2) same for all materials orelse the billing document will split and this split analysis is visible during creating of Billing document.
Hope this will help you in solving your problem.

What is the best spec to run multiple programs with numerous photographs?  Includes:  Lightroom, PhotoMechanic, and Internet DAM system?
For a Macbook Pro.  What's the least amount I need to process, upload, download images using these 3 programs?

That's a nice system Kevin, and it will work very nicely with Photoshop.  I do take it that you have 16Gb RAM in Total?
250Gb SSD is a good size, but you can still run short, and that will affect Windows performance.  When you get your system, instal WinDirStat which gives you a graphic display of everything on your drive, like below. Clicking on any of the large areas will tell you what and where they are, so you can think about moving cache folders etc. to one of the HDDs.
Leave the Pagefile.sys on the boot drive.  Think about disabling Hyphenate as it takes a ton of space, and too often crashes on wake up.
    My Documents
    Desktop
    Downloads
    Look at Bridge cache
    iTunes backup
    Other stuff like that.
Think about another 500Gb drive just for Photoshop Scratch.  Drives are cheap as chips nowadays
Do yourself a favour, and invest $100 in Shadow Protect (or similar if there is such a thing) SP saves incremental backups every 15 minutes (you can set the interval, but it has no impact on performance with a system like yours).  If you have a problem you can mount the back up at any of those 15 minute points, and open files from it.  You can also make a bootable DVD image of your C drive, and be back up and running five minutes after disaster strikes.

  • Run multiple reports through SOAP call,

    Hi Folks,
We are able to run a single report at a time through SOAP call , But Is it possible to run multiple reports at a time?
Is there any solution for it or any other way to do it?

    Hello,
By default, the reports server is configured with maxEngine=1
It means that ther eis only one engine and only one report can be executed at a given time.
You can increase this value in the file rwserver.conf in order to allow several reports engines to be launched by the reports server and several reports being executed at the same tilme.
