RUNING STANDARD REPORT ON DEVELOPER

we are using solaris operating system on our server machine, while we are running windows on our client site,
we want to run standard report of Oracle Fixed Assets (Cost Sumary Report).
we had tried to comment that parameters it gives error of REP-1415 and there r number of parameters no need to pass values......also plz mention me can i modify the standred report and the upload that report in oracle financial applications.
Thanks,
sadaf

Oracle has taken extremely good care for us not to be able to run standard reports locally. Only Oracle native consultants can do this, because they have notebooks with special environment.
Yes, we can modify standard reports and upload them, and only after that see if the changes work. However, it's strongly recommended to created custom report first by copying the standard one under another name, and make changes to custom reports only.

  • Integrating Crystal Report 2008 Developer with Visual Studio 2008 Standard

I have Crystal Reports 2008 Developer version 12.0.0.683 on my computer. I also have Visual Studio 2008 Standard. I know the standard edition of VS 2008 does not have the bundled crystal reports, but since I bought the full version of CR 2008 separately, I figure I should be able to use CR within VS 2008. The problem I am facing is integrating Crystal Reports with Visual Studio, so I can create reports from within visual studio.
Crystal Reports was installed first and then Visual Studio. As per suggestions on this and other forums, I repaired my installation of Crystal Reports, but that did not help. I then ran Visual Studio integration manager, but when I run it, it only detects Visual Studio as the currently installed IDE, but does not detect CR 2008. I downloaded service pack 2 for CR, but have not installed it yet. I do not want to install it if it is not going to help. I would also like to avoid uninstalling my copy of CR if at all possible.
I am a newbie at development in visual studio. Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rajib

    Don't want to go against what Jason said as it may be correct - if we go strictly by the documentation provided (sorry Jason, Dan says...). However, here is something to try;
Uninstall CR. Look for any left overs; c:\program files\business objects\... and delete all of that.
Look in the registry for HKLM\software\business objects and remove the business objects entry.
    Download CR 2008 from here:
    http://www.sap.com/solutions/sapbusinessobjects/sme/freetrials/index.epx
That is a trial version and I believe it is already at SP 1. Use your keycode to install. Once this is done, you should have the ability to use CR in .NET. I'd recommend you do apply sp 2 now also.

  • Task of ABAP Developer in standard reports

    Hi friends,
I know standard reports in SD..Is there any role played by the abaper in using those standand reports? Can abap developer customise those standard reports...or abap developer only do the reports from scratch depending on the requirement ( coding in se38). Is there anything done by using standard reports? Plz clarify my doubt...Thanks in advance.
    Regards,

    Hi Reddy,
Yes, ABAP developer can modify the standard programs if the access key is provided by the basis guys for that specific standard program.Sometime standard programs do not meet the client's business requirment.
In that scenarios ABAP developer need to modify the standard program.
    Hope this helps.
    Please reward if useful.

  • Edit font size standard report

    Hello community,
I try to edit the font size of a standard report but I can't find any menu within APEX to edit this reports.
    I also tried to edit it within the SQL with '< f o n t s i z e=130%">' || ... || '</ f o n t >' but this did not work.
Can anybody help me? Is there a menu which lists all the standard reports and where is the chance to edit this?
Or is there any other chance?
    Thank you so much,
    Lisa :-)

    Hi Lisa,
The font is defined in the style sheet (css file) that is referenced in the Page Template. You can override the style by adding your own style (with the same name as used by the columns in the report - you can check that using Firefox+Firebug or the Developer Tools in Chrome) after the APEX standard CSS. You can also put this CSS in your Report Template or in your Page (if it's only for one specific page).
A good practice is not to include CSS or HTML in your SQL query. Because SQL is logic and HTML/CSS is presentation and these two shouldn't be mixed up.

  • Standard Reports in M M

    Dear All,
I need these are all the standard Reports...
    1. Purchase Requisition link with Purchase Order Report.
    2. Purchase Order, Order Qty, Received Qty(GR), Open Qty Wise Report
    3. Purchase Order, Order Qty, Received Qty(GR), Open Qty, Invoice Verified Qty Wise Report
    and etc..Reports in MM side.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
      PRIYA.

    Hello Priya,
There is no standard report where one can track quantity and value from PR to Invoice Verrification. For that u need to develop Z report.
As far as PO, GR and Invoice verification is concern and you want to track balance quantities to received, you can use ME2M, ME2L with Scope of list ALV and Selection Parameters WE101. By doing this you can track open quantities and Purchase Order, Order Qty, Received Qty(GR), Open Qty, Invoice Verified Qty Wise Report.
If you want to have a report of PO, GR & Invoice verification you also can use MC$I & MC$G. Choose key figures and add the fields for which u want to abstract a data.
Hope you this would help you out.

  • Can "Standard Report Column" be the Default Instead of "Display as Text"

Almost every report region I write has some html in at least one column, whether it's a break or an apex_item or something else. Hence, when the region renders with the default settings, the column shows the html code - I have to change the column display type from "Display as Text" to "Standard Report Column".
Is there some setting to make "Standard Report Column" the default? (Isn't that kind of what the word Standard implies?)
    Thanks,
    Gregory

Is there some setting to make "Standard Report Column" the default? (Isn't that kind of what the word Standard implies?)In earlier versions of APEX "Standard Report Column" was the default. The default was changed in APEX 4.0 to "Display as Text" (which escapes HTML-sensitive characters) as a security measure to limit vulnerability to XSS attack. This is necessary for the protection of users and (so-called) developers who are not security conscious/HTML savvy.
There's no option to change this, and I doubt that one will be provided in the future. The indications are that the Oracle APEX team are committed to blocking as many security holes as possible by default, leaving it to the developer to consciously make any modifications that increase the surface exposed to attack.

  • Standard Report to view the pegging status of the orders.

    Hi All,
Is there any standard report which displays the pegging status for all the orders. The pegging status is currently being viewed from product view for every single product which is very tedious, thereby we are expecting a report that can display the pegging status for all the orders in a single report.
    Regards,
    S.Manjunath

    Hi Manjunath,
I dont think there is any standard report to display the pegging relationship in one screen.there is one transaction /sapapo/peg1 which will show you the same pegging overview as in product view.
You can develop one custom report which can show you all the details for entered material and location combination, for which you can use the std. function module /SAPAPO/EFPL_ORD_NET_GET which can give you the entire pegging relationship details for particular product location combination.

  • Serial number in standard report

    Hi
We are using serial number for most of the materials. Whenever material movement happens, system asks for the serial number. But the serial number which is used for this material movement is not appearing in any of the standard report - COOIS-Component/Documented Goods Movement or in MB51 or any other else.
Please guide how to insert the serial number field in all the material movement standard report.

  • Standard Report in SAP

    Hello Experts
We would like to have Some standard report to check whether Any standard schema or rule changed by Anyone (Consultants)
We want to target specifically for a country and standard schema and rules.
    Any updates appreciated.
    Regards
    SK

    1. T52C0 table contains the standard SAP delivered schema.  If a customer changes it, it is saved in T52C1 with the same name.
The transaction PE01 always brings the one from T52C1 (not from T52C0) when you next go to display / edit the changed standard schema.
However PE02 txn always stores a PCR in T52C5 irrespective of whether it is a standard SAP object or a custom object.
To see the standard schema, in txn SE16 or SE16N, you can display T52C0.
Or display it in client 000; usually this client access is not allowed for even SAP consultants normally.
In view of the above, it is not recommended in any case, even for changes from an OSS note, for a user to change the standard schema/PCR, in PE01/PE02 or other way except the processes used by Basis team - e.g., SPAD, SPAM.
To make such changes in a standard object, it should be copied to a customer name range; then the copy should be changed and used wherever required.
Such changes in SAP objects (e.g., schemas, PCR's, Dev objects) should be documented for future reference, so that when the standard object is changed by SAP, the customized object can be changed as required.
    2. To see which transport has changed such objects you can search table E071 for dev objects including schema and PCR; and E071K for tables.
However I am not sure if this is dependent on transports containing such changed objects.  Many times it has been observed that config consultants delete objects from a transport, before releasing it; this deletion may be because the change was saved in a wrong transport or whatever.  In such cases, these tables E071 & E071K may not contain these changed object entries.
Following are the tables in this subject:
E070     Change & Transport System: Header of Requests/Tasks
E070A     Change & Transport System: Attributes of a Request
    E070C     CTS: Source/Target Client of Requests/Tasks
E070CREATE     Change & Transport System: Creation Date of Request
E070DEP     Change & Transport System: Dependencies of Requests
E070L     CTS: Index for Assigning Numbers to Requests/Tasks
E070M     CTS: Target Development Class/Layer for Requests
    E070N     UNIX/SAP User Connection
E070P     Path under which a C correction is created
E070TC     Help Table for E070 for Client-Specific Imports
E070USE     Use of Current Requests by Users
E071     Change & Transport System: Object Entries of Requests/Tasks
E071C     Change & Transport System: Client-Specific Lock Flag
E071E     Lang. Transport: Positive List for Generic Object Selection
E071K     Change & Transport System: Key Entries of Requests/Tasks
E071KF     Change & Transport System: Nametab Information on Key Fields
E071KFINI     Change & Transport System: Nametab Information on Key Fields
    E071L     Language Transport: Transport Information
E07T     Change & Transport System: Short Texts for Requests/Tasks
    3. Provided the table is set for logging, you can use program RSTBHIST. to report change log for such SAP objects,   However, such setting for log should be in development system/cliernt.
It is not recommended for production system/client.  Otherwise for each schema transport, the log database will be updated and this is a burden on production resources.

  • Standard report in SAP materials ordered

    Hi Guru's
Can any one help me for getting a standard report in SAP where one can track the materials ordered. That is when the materials have to be delivered, the date when the vendor despatched the goods, when we received it i.e actual GR date etc.
Thus it gives all the dates, the quanties etc... so that we can find exactly where the delay is happening and remind the vendor for this particular order.
    Best Regards
    Mouli

    Hi Mouli,
If you want send reminders for deliveries, then you can do that in advance or after the desired delivery date with ME91F
If you only want monitor open POs that are late, then you can do that in ME2M or ME2L by using selection parameter WE101 and setting the delivery date to today and add with F2 the smaller sign.
Do you record the date when the vendor dispatched the goods in your PO's ? it is possible with shipping notification.
A report showing all this info must probably be developed by yourself, if you are not satisfied with the options in ME2M ME2L.
It may very usefull to you
