When i try to open iTunes 7.2, its opens but as soon as it completes opening i get an error message saying:

what do i do? i tried re installing but I get another different error! oy...

I have been making some CD's using iTunes (in fact, I've burned about 10 in the last couple days) and tonight when I opened it up to do a few more, I started having problems. First of all, even though I did not click to go to the iTunes store, it sat there for almost an hour trying to connect to it. Then, I went away from my computer for a few minutes, and when I came back, there was a Run time error. It's outside normal business hours and I want to get this taken care of ASP. Anyone have any ideas (besides "Get a Mac" ;)?Update: I just tried reopening it again, and it worked this time. I was able to finish making the CD's I was working on, however when I was finished, I went to check for iTunes updates (to get 7.3) and it gave me the same message again.

RaghuWhat's the name of your file? In Java, all public classes must be in a file with the same name as the class. In this java command:

You are saying you want to execute a class called "test", but you didn't post any code with a class named "test". Compare these names:

"Test"
"TEST"
"tEsT"

Could someone help me with a Runtime Error while saving a PDF file?
While saving a 28 page PDF file in Illustrator today, I got a window saying, "This application has requested the "Runtime" to terminate it in a unusual way." It said to contact the applications support team for more information. I keep getting the same thing each time I try it. Does anyone know how to fix this issue or how I contact the applications support team ?

PamIt is a 13.5x11 inch calendar. There are 14 pages with images on them and
some text. The other pages have text, a grid and a colored background with a
gaussian blur. I saved each page as an "outline".
The printer I am using requested I save all pages in a pdf file. I was
successful in saving all but about six pages, now I can't even open the

What happens is... I open Illustrator

then a window appears that says... Adobe
Illustrator CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop
working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a

Then the program closes.
So far I have not been notified of anything.

Please help guysSome users here have reported that one cause of the Runtime error is the Apple Software Update, so you might try removing that and see if that fixes the problem. Removing the Software Update shouldn't affect iTunes itself (though as with any software maintenance operation, it would be wise to make a backup of your purchased tracks before you try it), you just won't get automatic update checking.

Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro crashes at start up: Runtime Error-please help
I have Adobe CS4 installed on my Windows 7 PC. In addition, I have Adobe Reader XI and InDesign 6 installed. If I remember correctly, after I installed Adobe Reader XI, I uninstalled the version of the Reader which came with CS4.
So here’s my problem: When I try to download a PDF that has been sent to me in an email or open one that already exists on my computer, this happens:

This makes no sense to me because
I don’t have the knowledge to figure this out. I have no idea what Runtime is.
Prior to a computer meltdown a couple of months ago and a complete reinstallation of everything, these very same programs all worked just fine.
I don’t understand why, when I try to open an emailed PDF, they don’t automatically open in Adobe Reader XI rather than Adobe Acrobat. Isn’t the general idea that people be able to open and view sent PDFs which they have been sent, which is what the Reader is for, and not usually edit them, which is what Adobe Acrobat is for?
If, instead of trying to open the emailed PDFs, I save them to my computer, I can launch Adobe Reader XI and open them from within that program without any problem. That’s OK if I just need to view the PDF, but I need to be able to edit PDFs too, so I must get Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to work.
Would reinstalling Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro help? Is there a way to reinstall that program only from the installation disks or would have to reinstall CS4 entirely?
I cannot open Adobe Acrobat 9.0 at all, so any solutions which must be done with the program open are not possible.

Resetting Internet Explorer didn't work, Reinstalling Acrobat 9.0 Pro didn't work, but changing a registry key did.

The problem is with the application data being misdirected.
"The affected user has a redirected Application Data folder and as a result the network path containing the Application Data uses a UNC path that begins with \\. This UNC path causes Acrobat 9.0 or Adobe Reader 9.0 to incorrectly parse the Application Data path and give the error message."
A potential Solution would be to go into the registry. Left Click type "regedit" and right click and run the program with "run as administrator". Go to Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders and make sure see where "AppData" is pointing. If it is pointing to "%UserProfile%/Application Data" change it to point to "%UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming".
BUT, be careful about one thing: This poster seems to have accidentally used forward slashes when he should have use back slashes. Look at the very last line of his post where he advises "If it is pointing to "%UserProfile%/Application Data" change it to point to "%UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming". You'll find, or at least I did, that this key has a back slash, not a forward slash, so changing what I found: "%UserProfile%\Application Data" to "%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming" worked and now Acrobat 9.0 works fine. -
I upgraded to the latest iTunes 11.1.4, after a prompt from the iTunes store. But will not open after the upgrade. One of three error messages told me to reinstall. I did. Restarted and scanned. But no help there. So I unistalled and re installed from Apples' website. The installation was okay as usual but still will not open. Keep getting the same error messages. Thta soounds like a memory issue to me. At least that is what causes that to happen to me.
The 'slice' of data you are requesting, based on your criteria, may be more mega bytes than the memory buffer. Too much data perhaps.
When this happens to me I have to take smaller chuncks of data, multiple extractions, then paste them all together.
Try half the number of entries, and see.

Runtime Error in File Preview of RH7 - Immediate help needed!
Dear all,
we're working on a RoboHelp 7 project under version control.
Today we encountered a major issue with ur project/database. When opening files in the preview window, they are displayed without error. As soon you click on a link within this file that leads to another HTML file, you get a pop-up with a runtime error message. You're asked either to debug or not. Selecting no displays a second runtime error with the same question. After also declining, you get to the selected HTML file.
We have two major sorts of files: Chapter overview pages and topic files. Both are based on the same Style Sheet (CSS) and template. For the overview files the layout is just changed a bit when you create the file. Further there are some extra files don't use the template.
Now I recognized some kind of logic:
- When you open an overview-file, the two pop-ups always refer to runtime errors in line 46 and 49.
- When you open a topic file, the two pop-ups always refer to runtime errors in line 50 and 53.
- When you open a file that is blank and not based on the template, there's no error.
Until now, the error never occured. But since today (or maybe last week und we didn't recognize), this error comes up even for files that were created months ago and never had an error before. They were changed today automatically when a renamed a chapter. Even within our "clean and working" backups we now encounter this error.
Questions:
- Can anyone explain, what a runtime error is at all?
- My assumption is, that it has something to do with the CSS or template, but I'm not sure. What can be wrong there?
- To what lines do the specifications in the pop-up refer to? Where can I find those lines?
As we are in a very critical project phase, I really need your assistance for a quick and effective solution. Please help me as soon as possible!! Thanks!!Hi Tom
Here is my own educated guess.
When you have links of any type in a HTML document, a calculation has to occur at the time they are created. The application has to calculate where the linked item is in relation to the existing page. Then HTML shorthand is created to navigate. Up a folder level is ../ and up two folder levels is ../../. Stuff like that.
Popups are a different story. While you are still creating links, these beasties are actually handled using JavaScript. So the path is supplied in the call to the JavaScript.
As if that weren't complex enough, we now toss Headers and Footers into the mix. Headers and Footers are tied to the Master Page. The Master Page is always in the root level of the project. Links in a Header and Footers often break because of the assorted locations of HTML pages if you are using folders to organize your project. So when you create the link initially as part of the Master Page, things are dandy and as long as the topic is in the project root folder (same as the Master Page) things would likely work fine. But if that Master Page is associated with a topic inside a folder level or two down, things can go to pot in a hurry! (Where are we all headed? And what's with the handbasket?)

Just updated itunes software on my windows PC and now it won't open because of Runtime error R6034 can you help?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Also, you may find relief via Terminal (found in your Utility folder) : Once the Terminal screen is open enter (copy/paste) lookupd -flushcache and press return. This clears out the DNS cache. Once done, quit Terminal. Restart the computer, then try Safari. Post back and let me know how you make out.
