  • Change Key Mapping for RWMS handheld application

    Dear Experts,
When we login to handheld in rwms
    http://hostname:9001/forms/frmservlet?config=rwms1324inst_hh
we are login with USERID: PAR3214
                               PASSWD:PAR3214
                              FACILITY ID : PR
Now, if we press CTRL+F4, it is login
My requirment is to change the login option.  Instead of CTRL+F4, it should be mapped to something else like "SHIFT+F4" particularly for RWMS hand held applications.
    Regards,
    Ratnesh

    Hi Ratnesh
RWMS 14.1 Install Guide ( http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12456_01/rwms/pdf/141/rwms-141-ig-05.pdf ) has good details on this:
    Update fmrweb.res for Keymapping
The fmrweb.res file is used to specify key-mapping for the radio frequency devices that are set up in the formsweb.cfg file.
    1. Depending upon device this file may need to be updated.
    2. The installer places a copy in the directory specified in the formsweb.cfg file for each radio frequency URL that is created
    3. The fmrweb.res file comes with key-mapping of CTRL+<number> to work for function keys by default.
This fmrweb.res is passed as a parameter in formsweb.cfg as otherparams variable.
    Thanks

  • Is there any template form for RWMS?

    Hi
I need to create additional forms in RWMS apart from the ones that are in-built.Is there any template.fmb available for RWMS or the only way to create a new form is to take an old form and copy it and re-engineer from that.

If you are referring to Oracle's Retail Warehouse Management System, then I think you may have the wrong forum. This forum is for Oracle Forms.

    Hi Vijay,
Go to the Log files of the respective installations. You can find the URL's of those applications in the log files.

  • Cancel System Error Messages from RWB

    Hi All,
I have nearly 3000 messages those were got System Error in Integration Engine process, but when i check messages in SXMB_MONI all are success and written to target folders also. There is no problem absolutely.
Now i just want to cancel those System Error messages from RWB--Message Monitor to keep system green and do not want to see those system error messages again.
Iam not able to cancel those messages from RWM, it is saying that User and pwd incorrect but iam providing correct one only.
I went to details of that system error message from Message Monitor, i took message id and filtered with that in SXMB_MONI. i got the message with error state.Iam able to cancel that from MONI but not from RWB which is fine and disappearing from RWB list.
the thing is i can't copy each and every message id by opening details button for every message
How can i proceed for this. please advice me
    REgards

    Hi Ravi,
For example iam able to see system error message in RWB--Message Monitor under Integration Engine at 9:30
when i execute SXMB_MONI for the same time and see, there is no error message for that able to see success.
When i took message id from RWB--message monitor and filter that in MONI means it is showing me the error message.
I can able to cancel it from MONI which is fine. but this way i have 3000 messages in RWB--Message monitor under IE.
How to copy and paste then filter those error messages in MONI???this is pain process to copy each and every one by one
Iam not able to get those if i filter with the status group as System Error manual Restart Possible criteria

The WebService seems to work if we use a dedicated client.
Does SAP XI really have a problem or is it the WebService (-reponse)?
    Regards Mario

    Mario,
Your Webservice is throwing a SOAP Fault or Application error.
see the payload in CallAdapter Step in response message. It will have a fault payload with details.
It is basically related to input data problem.
check the input data given to SOAP Request.

  • Is there a way to specify text-to-speech to dictate a specific line or..

    Hi guys,
Is there a way to specify text-to-speech to dictate a specific line or page in a pdf file?
In fact, it would be cool if text-to-speech highlighted each word that is being spoken through out the document during dictation and you could rewind, pause or fastforward the speech in real-time. Is this feature available? if not, can anyone recommend any other programs that can do this?
    thanx in advance

Is there a way to specify text-to-speech to dictate a specific line or page in a pdf file?
    Yes!
With fully modern Cocoa applications (like Safari, Preview, TextEdit, and Mail) you can select the line or page and then from the application menu > Services > Speech > Start Speaking Text
You can also select and then Control-Click on the selection and then pick Speech > Start Speaking Text from the contextual menu. (Works with Safari, TextEdit, and Mail, but not Preview for PDF.)
In fact, it would be cool if text-to-speech
highlighted each word that is being spoken through
out the document during dictation and you could
rewind, pause or fastforward the speech in real-time.
That would be cool. Are you looking for an interface enhancement, or would a talking book reader with these features be acceptable?
    Is this feature available?
No, but you can get somewhat close to this ideal by using VoiceOver and checking Show Caption Panel.
if not, can anyone recommend any other programs that can do this?
I have had fair success with the Text Help Read & Write Aloud products.
