Safety Stock (ABAP Report)

Hello to All,
We have a problem regarding Safety Stock report (ABAP Report). The program is designed to generate material's Plant/Sloc and Unrestricted Stock versus Safety Stock. The report was working properly in DEV, QAS and PROD server. Then another feature was requested to be added, the report should also eliminate or not display all materials that was marked as Flag for Deletion. When the transport request for this enhancement was transported and tested in DEV and QAS server, the report is running properly. But when transported in PROD server, the report only generates two material codes and doesn't list the other materials.

Thank you for the reply, I have checked the Safety Stock in the material and also the flag for deletion indicator... We have analyzed that the program needs to be reviewed on the part of "Flag for Deletion" indicator when eliminating records in the report list.

Purchasing Dept. is looking for a report which can give list of materials falling below the reorder point, so that they can go ahead and create procurement proposals for those materials.
They also want to see the Reorder Point, Safety Stock, current stock and fixed lot size in the same report.

Hi,
There is no standard report because this is meant to be managed by the MRP run.
The MRP lists show all materials that have a problem (such as stock below reorderpoint) but MRP generates requirements for these anyway and so all you need to do is to look for the MRP generated requirements (requisitions?) and you have your list?
Are you using MRP?
If so then please use the standard functions in MRP to get this.
If not, then WHY NOT?

Report on current stock and safety stock

Hi,
I want to have the report on current stock and safety stock.
In MC.9 it gives wrong safety stock. When I go to cross check the safety stock in material master & in MC.9 I see differences.

You can user tcode MC.9 or MC.5 to know valuated stock available at given plant. Stock lying in Returns (MB52) will not be a part of this report as it non-valuated stock.
The stock in the accounting view of the material master considers stock at plant level including stock in Transit (Intra & Inter plant stock trasnfers) & special stock like stock issued to vendor , consigment stock etc which is valuated at plant level.
whereas and stock in the plant stock view of the material master does not consider such special stocks hence there will always difference in both veiws.
For Physical stock as on particular date you can consider MB5B report with radio button "Storage location/Batch Stock" wherein you will get Quantity issued & Qunatity received in those SLOC along with Opening stock & Closing stock for the specified period.

A report on Safety stock

We have mass updated the safety stock using the T code MP38. The same is getting reflected corectly in to MD04.
We are looking for a report to provide the safety stock material wise per plant.
We have tried MCBE which do no reflect the correct quntity. Any reason?

MCBE is for the analysis of Receipt and issue during the specified time frame.

If total stock of a material goes below safety stock user can get a message at inbox as an safety stock alert...

Hi,
If the stock goes below the safety stock system wont allow you to draw the material and message come.
But for your requirement you can have a Z-report run in back ground checking the exisitng stock and safety stock periodically and it will send a report to respective user in box. With the help of ABAP it is possible.

I would be very happy if you send me some sample code to implement this in User exits.
I mean which ABAP statements are useful in this case. I think we need to implement the following logic for User Exit variable.
1. At run time, retieve the SSN data from BW dabase
2. Convert the first 5 digets into *****
3. Make it available to report in BEX.

Stock ageing report with batch Management active

Hi Experts,
My client wants a Stock ageing report and batch management is active
According to my client, Inventory ageing report should show stock quantities and stock value as follows,
1. Below one year
2. Between one and two years
3. Above two years
What are the table and fields to be considered for this report.

What steps do you mean? taking an ABAP course and doing it yourself, or stepping to an ABAPer and let him know what he shall do?
you asked for a stock report, not for a movement report.
If I go into my warehouse and looking at all the stuff sitting there and want a report that should tell me how old this stuff is, then i am not intrested if there was a goods receipt movement.
However I would like to know the last movement date. In this case you have to look into table S032 or into the movements MSEG (with MKPF as header table)

Hi Sir I am running MRP for the 05 finished material. All the Finished material has some material common and and Semi-finsief also.Lot SIze for the SFG and raw material are FZ and safety stock maintained,MRP type-PD.
Now after running MRP in MD04 report.Some of the material which are common in BOM are being being display no of times in Order tree.Couls you please explain it did so

Need to prepare an ABAP report!

Hi MM Experts,
I need to prepare an ABAP report on the following descriptions:-
"Develop an MRP report that calculates the unrestricted stock, purchase order quantity, production order quantity, delivery quantity, planning order quantity on the basis of the selection made by the user on the given set of materials and the plant, MRP controller and ABC indicator and date. The report calculates the total available quantity of the materials and the sub materials as well as the required quantity and shortage or excess quantity."
Please suggest me the tables and fields to be used in preparing this report.

I dont see any other standard report for this.But the required data is available in the TCodes MC.D etc.Other wise you can go for a query or browse the table MARC.Others may have any idea on it

Safety Stock with consignment stock

As you would be aware, the said details are being stored in Table MSEG and Field SOBKZ for special stock indicator and for quantity the field is ERFMG.
So applying some user exits, tell your requirement to ABAPer and write a logic. May be you can consider some of the following user exits.
- User exits in the program MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_READ_DOCUMENT
- User exits in the program FV45EFZ1 - USEREXIT_CHANGE_SALES_ORDER

How to Call another screen using the ABAP Report which is displaying ALV ou

Hello All,
I am developing a ABAP report in which I want to transfer the stock from material to another material.
My Report will include 3 to screens.
The first sleection screen will display all the material with their stock value.
When we execute the report I will get the list of materials along with their current stock. On the top of the output screen I want the Execute button. Also , each line of the output should have checkbox or the ALV provides the functionality of editing one cell like that.....Once the user tick the checkbox or the cell....then I want to move to another screen where user can enter the Quantity and then user will tick ok and then I will call one function module so that the material documnet is posted and transfer of posting form material to material is done successfully.
Could anyone please help me out how to call another screen from the output screen where user can enter the Quantity amount....
I dont want to use the Dialog programming.....I want to create the simple ALV Abap report.
