Salary Administration

Hi Guys,i am facing a strange problem, suppose i propose a salary increment for a guy from $2000 to $2500 with effect from 1 Apr 2006 with a status proposed and give him another increment of $500 with effect from 1 May with a status of approved , now this approved change should happen on $2000 but in the application it's happening on $2500 which is still in proposed stage

that's what i am also saying that since the first increment is not official so the second increment should not take first increment on account and should increment at current salary !!!!!!!

  • Grade Salary Limits on Salary Administration form

    Hi,
    Oracle EBS 11i 11.5.10.2
Is there a way to populate the Grade Salary Limits side of the Salary Administration form automatically based on the grade rate?
Currently only the Grade and currency fields are populated and not the min / max salary fields?
    Thank you

  • Need to enable salary approval

    Hi Guys,
We have two custom responsibilities i.e.
    XXX HRMS Manager
    XXX Payroll Manager
through Payroll Manager when I correct the salary of a person through Fast Path --> Salary function it does not allow me to approve it instead it only shows proposed, while through XXX HRMS Manager it allows, My requirement is to approve through XXX Payroll Manager , for this what profile option need to be set, the security profile, Business Group and User Type options are same in both of the responsibilities.
    Regards,
    ssali

Add the form function Salary Administration:Approve to the menu of your custom responsibility.

  • Having salary increase and salary increase due to promotion on the same day

    Hi ,
Would like to know if it is possible to have 2 salary increase (one a promotion and the other a annual salary increase) for an employee on the same day? This is because we are reporting on salary increase and would like to know how many time an individual had an increase. If it is possible how do we do it ? If not why can we? Will need both to have the same effective day.thk

If you were using Salary Administration, then you could possibly apply multiple (up to 10 different ones I think) Salary Proposal Components to a single proposal - e.g. +1,500 for 'promotion' and +1,000 for 'annual increase' means a total increment of +2,500

  • Folder creation in UCM

    Hi All,
There is on security group eg:-New Profile,if any new profile check-in ucm automatically the folder structure will create on that perticular profile.
The folder structure should be ---root folder EMPID_EMPNAME(Emp001_ABC)
Inside root folder 5 sub-folders like -----Emp Resume,Education details, Experience Details,Salary,Administrator
Let me know is there any possibility to create automatic folder creation when the new profile check-in inside UCM.
Give me your valuable suggestions on this issue.
    Thanks.

    hi,
Actually through mine custom page of mine component in which suppose there is two text box like
    Parent folder
    Child folder
when i submit the name a new folder should be created under contribution folder with child folder name.
Scenario is that suppose a project comes and on mine custom page when i enter the project name a folder with same name should be created under contribution folder by calling new folder creation service.
Plz if u can help me out.
    Thanks once again...

  • Using JDO under BMP entity beans

I have an entity bean that is a BMP which uses JDO under the hood. The Oc4J document says that "Bean-managed persistence entity beans manage the resource locking within the bean implementation themselves" in the advanced subject chapter. Ok can someone in oracle add an extra line eloborating on that statement ?
I am stuck in trying to pass a test that can do concurrent modify of an entity bean. I had 2 or more threads trying to modify one single BMP entity bean object concurrently. The database vendor recognizes one bean had the lock and deny locks to any other beans. Who should block the call to the database until one thread releases the lock on the object ? The developer ? J2EE container ? Database ?
J2EE tenet "Developers are shielded from concurrency and threading issues while implementing business logic" Does that still hold ??
An object Person's salary value and his benefit information are tried to be modified at the same time by different external system(salary administrator, benefit's administrator). But I dont want the user to see the lock on the object error, but instead I require a pessimistic lock on the BMP. Why does Oc4J not support pessimistic concurrency option for BMP ?

To my knowledge, People group is required to create assignment information, but not for salary administration.

  • Help on sap hr

    Hi,
Please let me know what are the basic thing i have to do for completing sap hcm...
    Faizal

    Faizal
    0. Gain some Industry Experience in HR (Minimum 2 years, preferably in Employee Administration including Salary Administration)
    1. Speak to SAP HR Consultant (A must have with current industry trends)
    2. Atleast 4-6 hrs of daily practice
    3. Good Communication skills
    4. Most importantly, ask yourself "Why SAP HCM is the best career for you?"
    5. Either a well organized training institute for practice or Education Version of SAP
    6. Access to Help/Library/Business Best Practices Documents
    7. Analytical Skills
The answer to your question is subjective but I hope most of the members would agree with what I mentioned as 'Basic Requirements' to excel in SAP HCM. I know the list is not very encouraging but its better to know the Industry facts before-hand. Also, the current trend in SAP HCM is towards enhancements and upgradation, which makes life even tougher for new comers.

  • Salary and Employment Verification in HR Administration UWL

    Hi All,
We have deployed ESS 1.41, MSS 1.41 and HRAS 1.41 business packages on Portal EP7.0 EHP1 SP7
When an Employee request for Salary and Employment Verification Letter by going thru ESS-> Benefits and Payament->Salary and Employment Verification, a workflow (std workflow WS01000045) is triggered and the task sits in inbox of HR Administrator. Task id is TS1000076. Now when HR Admin open the workitem from R/3 inbox, it opens up a dialog box for printing the document (PDF Form) .
But these tasks are not visible under HR Administrators UWL iView in Portal. I have already checked the workflow system creation and its fine. For getting the tasks we need to maintain the task TS1000076 in SWFVISU. But we are not aware about what should be Type (JAVA webdynpro, ABAP Webdynpro, BSP etc.) and its Visualization Parameters.
Could anyone guide me on these parameters and if any changes in XML config for UWL.
    Regards,
    Amol Ghodekar.

    Hi Amol,
Configuring this in SWFVISU will help with the creation of the xml file telling the task how to launch and what to launch with:  See the following help documentation:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/2c/05b15de3864040a9426788a12699b3/content.htm -
This is the documentation for action handlers.
Universal Worklist action handlers enable you to customize how a SAP Business Workflow work item is launched. So you will need to check too with the workflow specialist in your organization, but my guess would be that you would launch it with the Abap webdynpro launcher.  By defining this in SWFVISU, when you press the reregister button on the webflow connector in the Universal Worklist administration, it generates the xml file and puts a definition in the file for launching the task.

    Hi Subhash,
Go to the transaction : PC00_M40_CLSTR
here 40 stands for India. Assign the Molga number as per the country code of your payroll.
Check if the pay roll has been run till the current period or not.
    Hope this resolves your issue.
    Regards,
    Sandeep Tudumu
