I have a problem with my program that I just can't figure out why the program can't calculate the weeklypay ... it keeps asking to enter the weekelypay ... so can you guys help me on that. I really thank you much ..

nrlz thanks, but it doesn't valid. what can I do ?There are two other things you did wrong:
1) You spelt weeklyPay with a capital W whereas it should be in lowercase.
2) The bracket is in the wrong position. You should move it to the very bottom.

ECM Plan Compensation Program Screen MSS
Hi Experts ,
We are implementing ECM and we have requirement that in MSS when manger of X country logs in and plans for compensation program , its ask to select the compensation review from the dropdown list . Currently it shows all the compensation reviews in the drop down list But i want that manager of X country should have review period of his cycle(march) and compernation area and not of Y country's (may cycle) in drop down list.
Can we restrict these values of drop down list according to specific cycle of coutry in ECM

Question : Standard Salary compensation Iview
Hello all,
I'd like to know a particular thing about the standard Iview Total Compensation Statement.
Today (in March) I earn 1000u20AC each mounth and my manager wants to pay me more in May.
He will enter in backend my new salary today (in March) with a start date on May 1st.
So in May, i'll earn 1500u20AC.
I'd like to know if my new salary (1500u20AC) will be displayed in the Total Compensation Statement Iview today (in March) or at the start date (May 1st).
Do I have the possibility to work on the date to display information in standard or should I develop a specific Iview?

New salary is not updating in MSS Compensation Planning (ECM)
Hi
In MSS Compensation Planning (ECM) iView, when we are applying a percentage increase for a particular employee the new salary column is not updating when we press enter or recalculate. The value is changing intially when we press refresh property for the iView, for the next time the value is not changing even when we press the refresh also.

Enterprise Compensation Management - Pay Scale and Pay grade
Hi Gurus,
I would like to like to know my understanding is correct.
1) ECM supports only Pay Grade (T710) and not Pay scale (T510). If so, company using pay scale will not be able to implement ECM? If not please provide the solution (how ECM can be implemented if company use Pay scale t510).
2) Can Annual Salary be pro-rated for part-timers, using capacity utilization level (CUL) in IT0008? I configured WT ASAL with reduction '2' in wage type characteristics under section 'Indirect valuation', but when i enter 50% in CUL, it is still reflecting the ASAL for 100%. So SAP does not support CUL for ASAL. if not please let me know what is missing in the configuration.
What is the best way to handle part-timer?
3) Show part time salary in compensation planning [ By implementing BADI for Calculation Base] and then convert back to full time salary?
IT0008 Maintained with the following info.
e.g. employee work for 20 hrs. a week. (40 hrs. per week for full time)
CUL is 50%
Monthly salary is 2000$
Employee's salary is 1000$ (Actual)
To sShow 1000 $ in planning worksheet for managers and covert to full time during Activation?
What is the SAP best practice and recommendation and why?

just a doubt
when we create the compensation program records 0758 we specify the 1 and 2 program groupings along with the comp area
so even when we default them to the required paygrade groups
does the RHECM_CREATE_COMP_PRO look at the 758 record of the employee and create the records thus excluding any one with less grade group and those messages? -
Best way to handover offer creation to Compensation team

In 11i iRecruitment, we have a requirement for the manager to create the offer with all the details except for salary/compensation. Salary is determined by the Compensation team. What is the best way to configure iRecruitment to allow the entry of salary details in the offer by Comp team while the recruiter/manager deals with the rest?
Is it possible to enter salary details during approval or would the approval chain only allow Approve/Reject without adding/editing information?

ADLightroom is not designed to be used by multiple users. A Lightroom Catalog can only be in use by a single user at any point in time. When a Lightroom Catalog is opened the program creates a file with the catalog name and with a .lock extension. This file prevents any use of the Catalog file and will automatically be deleted when Lightroom is closed. See the screen capture.
To be specific a "Lightroom License" is a single user license so if there are more than one user, a license would need to be purchased for each user.
In addition the Catalog file cannot be resident on a network it requires a physical connect to the computer.
The actual image files can be on a network so that part should not create a problem. -
ECM Implementation: Custom Infotype instead of IT1005 Planned Compensation

We are thinking about implementing SAP ECM (incl. MSS). I have seen that OM Infotype 1005 (Planned Compensation) is required to get salary ranges for example.
In our current OM solution we already have this information stored in a custom Infotype. Does anyone have experience using custom infotypes instead of standard ones in the ECM solution?

Not sure how you are set-up if not using Pay Scale Grades and Levels. Do you use T710 or T510 at all? What values are in IT0008 for these fields?
In any other change in status other than Activation, the report only changes IT0759-Compensation Program. So Pay Scale Grade and Level should not be a factor. If activating the Compensation Program infotype (IT0759), the report is trying to create a new IT0008, so your settings for Features such as TARIF and LGMST and any custom BAdIs should be checked to make sure the IT0008 can be created as required by your customization. Even so, we use transaction PECM_CHANGE_STATUS (Report RHECM_CHANGE_PROC_STATUS) to activate bonus payments which are not linked to IT0008 but to IT0015 and so they are not tied to a Pay Scale Group or Level.
Thus, I would need more info to determine why you are experiencing the error message.

ECM - Infotype 758 - 2nd Program Gropping
We are using the ECM module. We store the short term incentive plans on infotype 758 - Compensation Program. The list that is maintain for the second program grouping has more than 100 plans. The data keying department wants us to remove the discontinued plans so the drop down can me more managable. We cannot completely remove them because we have historical data that points to those plans. Also, in the configuration SAP does not provide any dates to delimit the plan.
If anybody has encounted similar situation and options to resolve the problem.

You can delimit the plan by providing the end date to plan for your Compensation Area, First Program and Second Program grouping in V_T71ADM07.
Check this, it should help you out. Once the plan is delimitted and data keying department will go to assign the plan after the plan end date that plan will not appear on drop down list.

Hi All,
I am trying to update period range for Program and plans in Advanced Benefits.
Navigation:
us hrms > total compensation > Programs and Plans > Programs > Period
In this period range I want to add the period till 31 Jan 2032 but the LOV attached showing periods till 31 Dec 2015.
Please tell me the navigation where I can allow this date range to be extended till 2032Hi Akash,
Add the Program/Plan Year periods in the below navigation so that it will reflect in the Program -> Periods LOV

Restricting Queries in HR: Compensation Management User Group
I am trying to restrict the Infoset /SAPQUERY/HR_XX_CM_03, which contains salary/compensation queries, assigned to User Group /SAPQUERY/H0, from being accessed by anyone. In SQ03, user group /SAPQUERY/H0, there are no users assigned but users with access to SQ01 can select the user group /SAPQUERY/H0 and access the queries tied to infoset /SAPQUERY/HR_XX_CM_03. Why are users able to access the infosets of the user group when no users are assigned to the user group?
Turns out that security authorization for access to SQ01 had an S_QUERY value of 02 which allows for full change. With this value the user group/user assignments done via sq03 did not work. Setting S_QUERY to 23 allows for user group assignment to restrict access in sq01

Hello All,
Pension Premiums Calculation -> Our pension plans are set up as Miscellaneous Plans. The system is not calculating the employer premium. And also the Wage type is showing up for Full-time employees but not for Part-time, I couldn't escalate why it is showing up Full-time & not for Part-time.
The schema was build for miscellanious plan in sub-schme UBE1 for table p0377 (process benefit 1st call fro paremaeter 1) and UBE2 for table P0377(process benefit 2nd call for Parameter 2). When I'm looking at payroll log for some reason it's processing Benfit 1st call and nor reading 2nd call (where in I believe that the first program grouping Fulltime & Part-time, so as the scheme is reading for parameter 1 it's displaying wage type for Full-time and as the system is not reading parameter 2 its's not displaying Part-time - not sure)
Please help me to resolve this issue, it is very urgent for me to resolve. please help.

RajiniAs I mentioned to you before, the Health Plans (IT0167), Insurance Plans (IT0168) and Savings Plans (IT0169) are something that is set-up in SAP and that employees "subscribe" or "adhere" to, and for which a contribution is made either by the employee, the employer or a combination thereof.
What you seem to want to set-up is a "Compensation Program" for short term and long term disability, since you mention that the employer will pay Full Salary to an employee who is disabled but only for 14 days if the employee is an "outpatient" and only for 60 days if the employee is an "Inpatient".
Two "Paid Absence" categories could possibly provide for that need: Outpatient Paid Absence and Inpatient Paid Absence.
As for the Medical Expenses part of your requirement, you could possibly create a WT for Medical Expense Refund (to be entered on IT0015), or a WT for Medical Expense Per-Diem (to be entered on IT0014) if there is a flat amount per day to be paid by the employer.
SAP probably has a special Infotype for Short Term Disability, similar to the Maternity Leave (IT0080) that we use in Canada, but I can only suggest you to do a little search. Need suggestion for searching words in a document
Is there any option to search the words in a document, where I want to make a user designed words or phrases saved itself in a PDF docment. For e.g I need to search the data with words like Salary, Compensation, Remuneration, etc in an annual report (PDF Version). For which I need to type these words hundreds of times everyday. So if I have a option to upload these words in the adobe reader itself it will save most of my time. please help me with ur opinions and suggestions.
Nothing in Reader itself. A macro program might help.

hi everyone we are implementing enterprise compensation management in 4.7 version without MSS, i did the configuration for the plans offered and set the guidelines correctly,but for the salary survey results and the job evaluation i havent changed what is there in the earlier compensation management we are using, now the question is when i am trying to generate the report create compensation process records iam getting the message this employee does not have salary structure acc to the basic pay 0008 and also cannot calc the comp ratio with that i get the document paygrade structure not assigned to the basic pay, now the connection for the jobpricing thru Business server pages is not given is there any way we can generate the report succesfully. also i could not see the report generate compensation program records in easy access its just not there, is it because of the 4.7 version. PLZ can anyone help me in this as we are approaching the deadline thanks in advance.

Thanks for your response. However, I do not believe this is a configuration issue since we have almost 18,000 correct 0759 infotypes. The ones that have blank Calculation Base and Currency (approx 10) had correct values before being changed by the supervisor (as confirmed by the Change Log).
Further investigation has determined that the system will correct these infotypes when the Supervisor goes in for additional work on his/her org if the status is In Planning. It also gets corrected when the Manager performs the Approval or Rejection step.
So, at this time we will just monitor and correct via PA30, if needed.
