Aree,
Both report are different. The sales analysis will use document of sales orders, delivery order, invoice and credit memo.
The P&L use journal entry of invoice and credit memo. Can you be more specific about the different ?

    Dear Akash
There is no standard report to see both the sale order reference and profit center.  However, if you go to SE16 and use table VBAP, you can see the required details

  • Urgent very urgent help regarding sales analysis and purchase analysis.

    Respective all experts,
when i see a sales analysis and purchase analisys for a particular month or year i see only amount before discount and tax and that is not a actual net amount that includes tax amount also i want the total gross amount with including tax amount and net amount in sales and purchase analysis. And how will i enter more fields in form settings menu of sales analysis and purchase analysis.
    Awaiting all expert advise,
    Regards
    saisakshi.

    Hi,
For system reports like sales analysis and purchase analysis, they are hardcoded. There is no room for you to add anything if you cannot find it from the report.
If you need to customize it, you need to create your own report.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Table relation between Sales Organization and Profit centre

    Hi everybody,
    I hava a question:
How do I know wich Sales organitzation (VKORG) belongs to a Profit centre(PRCTR), which table relation do I need to do to find it, or from wich table do I get this relation because I haven't found anything.
I've been asked to get the Profit Centre given a Sales Organization.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Moises,
Firstly get the Sales Order Number (VBELN) and Sales Organization(VKORG) from VBAK.
Now based on the the Sales Order Number (VBELN) get the Profit Center(PRCTR) from VBAP.
Now you can relate Sales Organization and Profit Center.

  • Sales Analysis - Gross Profit Percentage

    Hello,
This is a very basic question that hopefully somebody can help me with.
I ran the Sales Analysis by Customers --> Orders --> for a specific customer.  When I look at the detailed report of the Sales Analysis for this particular customer there are two orders.  I'm confused by how SAP is calculating the gross profit percentage.
For example, one of the invoices has a sales amount of $76,160.00 and a gross profit of $22,580.00.  The gross profit percentage on the analysis is 42.143.
Shouldn't the GP % really be 29.648%?  I used the following formula to calculate this:  (Gross Profit/Sales Amount)*100.
    What formula is SAP using?
    Thank you,
    Amanda

I get it.  It's calculating, however, it's setup on that tab.
I've been able to calculate both percentages now.
Thank you so much for your help.  I knew it had to be basic!
    Thanks!
    Amanda

  • Sales Documents and Profit Centre and GL Accounts

Currently a when we create a sales document for a plant, that document is posting to a specific GL account (Cash on Hand account) and profit centre. In VKOA, the Account Assignment Group is assignment to a GL Account, and that AAG is assigned to the material master. I want to find out how SAP is currently determining to which profit centre and GL Account it is posting to. The only thing that I can get is the Plant and sales office in the Sales document. I want to know the determination factor

I want to know the determination factor
Have you checked in OKB9 ??

    Hi Euston
This will be achieved by using the OINM table which contains the item codes, document numbers, BP, IN/Out Qty, G/L Accounts, etc.
Let me know if you need help with the query.

  • Drawers in Chart of Accounts - are they Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss?

We have a customer who is using a Chinese localisation Company database.
When they created the new database, they found that there are only 6 Drawers in the Chart of Accounts. This is different from other localisations where we have 8 Drawers.
We are trying to find out which Drawers are for the Balance Sheet Report and which Drawers are for the Profit and Loss Report.
In the other localisations, the first 3 Drawers are for the Balance Sheet Report and the Drawers 4 to 8 are for the Profit and Loss Report.
    Please can anyone help us.
    Thank you

    Thanks for the info.
There doesn't seem to be a Revenue or Turnover section. Is the Costs section like Cost of Sales or Overheads?
    What is the P&L section?
Do you have any contacts in SAP China who would be able to help further? I have not been able to get any info from the Local Product Expert listed in the Channel Partner Portal, even though I have sent several emails.
    Thanks

  • Balance Sheet and Profit Loss Statement

    Hello everybody,
i have an issue concerning the transaction f.01 meaning the displayed data.
when i start the transaction i enter the needed data for display, screenshots on [www.prikorai.puslapiai.lt/laurio/sap/]
and then the data displayed isnt showed right.
what i mean is that i.e.
Reporting period (01.2008 - 07.2008) shows ammount of 139.904,77, whereas it should be shown as
    Comparison period (07.2008 - 07.2008) shows 365.218,20
this kind of data anomaly isnt in all places but it appears
    Best Regards
    Laurynas Prikockis

What i ment is that when the report is generated some of the ammounts dont match.
as an example i wrote about the reporting and comparison periods. in one period (comparison) an ammount is shown right (as in GL Account) whereas the reporting period doenst show right numbers.
take a look at the attacht URL. youl find there a MS Word document which shows the start of the TC and data entered, the second screen shows the difference between compared periods.
    those periods were;
    REPORTING PERIOD and COMPARISON PERIOD,
    the date for these were
    REPORTING PERIOD (01.2008 - 07.2008) and
    COMPARISON PERIOD (07.2008 - 07.2008),
if i am right this kind of selection should result me equal numbers in each of the periods. (THE DIFFERENCE should be = 0)

  • Sales Analysis

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing the SAP B1 in one of the manufacturing industry in which return of the material(quality, color Defect) from the customer is normal process.
    Scenario:
There is an A/R Invoice raised in the month of August, later customer(XYZ) found some defect in quality of Item and he return the material. To concil A/R Invoice we have to raised A/R Credit memo.
But after raising A/R credit memo in the month of august A/R Invoice got closed and gross profit is zero against this particular customer(XYZ) in month of August.
But in Sales Analysis report it is showing that there is sales against XYZ in month of August. And this sales is not having any profit
Please put some light on this scenario and clarify the point because it would not come in sales analysis because sale is already cancel due to debit note from customer and we have to raise new invoice against that particular customer.
    Regards,
    Amit

    Hi
How is your gross profit is set up .I tried to reproduce your issue and I come with this result .
If i donot have set up grossprofit --by means you set it by price list1 abut you donot have price list1
You will see that on sales analysis -- gross profit is zero
After I set gross profit based on price list --(You have multiple choice )
Your sales Analysis --- show the gross profit zero only on A/R credit memo
When you run your sales analysis-- click double click on the row and you can see the details .
    (I test this issue in 2007 A patch 35 )
    Hope this answers .
