Sales area determined based on user/employee when creating an account?
Hi Experts.
Can anyone tell me how to implement the following:
When a user creates an account, the sales area should be filled out with the sales area of the employee of the user. In case of more sales areas, a pop-up should appear to choose from (simlar to transactions).

The system determines the process as
When u enter a prospect, the syetem determines the organisation based on attributes ,which in turn pick up the employee responsible from that particular organisation.

Sales Area Determination in Stock Transfer Order - user exit
Dear SD gurus,
We have different distribution channels for inter company and intra company stock transfers; since only one sales area can be set in the configuration (setup STO -> shipping data for plants), we want to use a user exit to determine the sales area dynamically.
We have created an enhancement of function exit V02V0001 (Sales area determination for stock transport order); but the program flow doesn't seem to stop in this exit despite setting break-points.
Can someone suggest why this exit is not fired during runtime or if this can be used at all for our purpose.

Incase of Inter-company, the process will be as under:
Create Sales Order (VA01)
Create Delivery (VL01N, etc)

RajuYou have to select org determination profile, in which you would define org determination rule; you can try using rule:10000144 (Sales areas incl. master data) for your purpose. You then attach this org determination profile to transaction type.
However during the creation of order in GUI you have to manually select in the orgisation tab the sales area for which the order is relevant. But when creating order in portal sales area relevant based on your selection of webshop/xcm scenario organisation tab details would fill up on their own.

Sales Area determination in follow-up ERP Sales order from CRM opportunity
Hi Experts,
Iu2019ve configured everything needed for ERP sales Order to be created as follow-up from CRM opportunity.
sales area in CRM opportunity is correctly determined (but division is disabled)
Sales Org : 1000, Distribution Channel: 10 and Division : 01 (Division is not displayed in opportunity)
But when I created ERP sales order as follow-up document from opportunity, system checks for sales area 1000, 10, 00 (This sales area or Division u201800u2019 doesnu2019t exist in either systems ERP / CRM) and gives a error message.
If you have any idea how sales area determination works in follow-up ERP Sales order please share.

If the service order line items are entittled to service contract , at each item level you will get contract info in contract data tab.
when you transfer these items to confirmation , confirmation item contract data will not have contract information. Only when you enter items in confirmation manually then system will pop up window for selection contract and confirmation items get contract information.

We are encounter Short dump in BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_PARK when creating inter-company billing.
Itu2019s working fine when executing from foreground and calling from executable program. Through outbound output type calling from the transaction (VF02 or VF01), encounter short dump. Program terminates in the update task. (Call screen 300) program.
Triggering flow:
VF02 -> output type -> msg type -> zfun..module -> Bapi_incominginvoice_park ->
-> calculate_tax_document(fun.module) u2013> call screen 300 (short dump)
Please let me know if any solution for this issue.

Authorization when creating contract account

I am now have a problem with authorization when creating Contract Account for Business Partner with the scenario: each user only have right to create Contract Account for some BP Number Range that I determine in their Role. Is that possible to do this scenario?

May be you can set the same in the User Authorization roles where in you can restrict the user to create Contract account for certain BP only. May be you can work along with your Basis consultant to solve this issue or you can also try for validation rules if it works for this scenario.

Hi Guys. Okay. Here is what happened. I was helping my friend create an account and he gave me his e-mail account but i accidentally misspelled it. It was a company email so i am certain that it has not been claimed since it ended with example (@companyname.com). My question is how do i go about retrieving my $15 dollar itunes card that we used when creating the account? Has anyone experienced this already? If so how did you fix it? Default Sales Org Data based on User parameters

I wonder if it was possible to have the Sales org data beeing filled in automatically based on the user parameters. In ERP you can set this up in the user settings "Own data". In CRM you also have this option but I'm not sure if the WEB GUI uses this data in order to default the values.
What I would want is that when a user creates a prospect, the sales are data is automatically filled based on the user's parameters.
would this be possible?

Sales Rep determination based on Territory in CRM 7.0
Hi,
We are trying to get Sales Rep based on territory attributes ( BP, COUNTRY, POSTAL CODE, SALES AREA and one cutom attribute). I have set all the attributes using rule builder for a territory.
But when I create sales order, using the values which are existing in Territoy, the sales rep is not determined. Infact the territory it self is not determined.
In debugging oberved one error saying:
1. Error occurred during the processing of table[BP_BP_COUNTRY,BP_BP_GUID,BP_BP_POST_CODE ( In class method : CL_CRM_FDT_API2 : MASS_EXECUTE).
2. No match found for the given context. (Don't why this error has come eventho I gave the exact values as in territory)
Can you please let me know what are all the steps we need to do to determiine Sales Rep based on territory in CRM 7.0.

Can someone help to figure out how sales area (sales org/distribution channel/Division) gets determine on purchase order item level "Shipping" tab ?

We are rolling out SAP CRM for one of our companies,
The sales area is not getting determined at the time of creating BP.
I could find the R/3 Sales area is not getting determined in BP.
Is there any downloading object where i can push the R/3 Sales area to CRM.

I have maintained obj. permitted determination in the attribute tab, and I have compare with my both system i.e. ERP and CRM in the crm orgniazational unit, there is a function tab there we are mainitaining the r/3 sales org and attribute like DC and Division. I found that there is not update new distribute chanell and division attribute details.
Can I know is there any object to dowload the sales are data into crm system. I found one object i.e. DNL_CUST_S_AREA, can I know what is the functionality of this object.
I have tried this object in the quality but no result.
Shell we maintain DC and division manually in the function tab in org model? I have tired this also maintain dc and division manually but no result.

My color swatch seems to be defaulting to only shades of gray on a gradient layer, and I simply cannot figure out how to get it to change to the color I have selected. After I create a new gradient fill layer, when I have the layer selected in the l
