Sales Rep determination based on Territory in CRM 7.0

Hi,
We are trying to get Sales Rep based on territory attributes ( BP, COUNTRY, POSTAL CODE, SALES AREA and one cutom attribute). I have set all the attributes using rule builder for a territory.
But when I create sales order, using the values which are existing in Territoy, the sales rep is not determined. Infact the territory it self is not determined.
In debugging oberved one error saying:
1.  Error occurred during the processing of table[BP_BP_COUNTRY,BP_BP_GUID,BP_BP_POST_CODE  ( In class method : CL_CRM_FDT_API2 : MASS_EXECUTE).
2. No match found for the given context. (Don't why this error has come eventho I gave the exact values as in territory)
Can you please let me know what are all the steps we need to do to determiine Sales Rep based on territory in CRM 7.0.
Thanks,
Sandeep

Hello Sandeep,
You said you have added custom attribute, make sure you have implemented badi for custom attribute and also you have used same selection group for all attributes which you have specified in your question.

    Hi,
The sysytem wont accept ur procedure,
The system determines the process as
When u enter a prospect, the syetem determines the organisation based on attributes ,which in turn pick up the employee responsible from that particular organisation.
Hope ur solution is solved if so reward me.

  • Employee Determination Techniques based on Territory in Business Trnsction.

    Dear all,
If I want to determine a territory based on customer, and Employee based on determined territory what configuration do I need to do?
I am planning to do the following configuration for Opportunity Management, please suggest me whether my understanding is correct or not.
Based on Rules defined in the territory for, customers will automatically assigned to the territory if the attribute value range matches.
Using Access Sequence 0030-Territory Mgmt user for the Customer (Sales Prospect) partner function in Partner determination procedure.
I believe this access sequence determines relevant territory based on Customer Attributes.
Once the territory determines in the Opportunity, based on territory I want to determine assigned Employee responsible.
    How can I do this?
Please suggest that how can we achieve this. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Best regards
    Raghu ram

    Hi Raghu,
There is  some steps to determine the employee responsible for a territory.
You have to define the oganisational model, define the territory, and the partner procedure linked to your activity type (opportunity...)
1- you create organisational model (PPOMA_CRM)
2- you define positions and affect employees to thoses positions
    3- SPRO: Customer Relationship Management
    Master Data
    Territory Management
Assign Partner Function to Assignment Function Category
Put there the Id of your patner funtion you want to use and TERR AFC 0000 and (if CRM 7.0) the Rel cat BUR011
4- define your patner procedure and link it to your activity type (use the best practice for territory setup to do that)
    3- create your territory
4- affect rules and positions (then employees will be affected automatically)
Do not forget to indicate the partner function in front of each employee affected to the territory (the choice list of this field come from the customisation you made the step before)
    DONE
    hope it will help.
    Best regards,
    Ahmed.

  • Questions about Territory determination in Business transactions in CRM 7.0

    Hi All,
We are in the process of configuring territory management in our system. I have a couple of questions regarding Territory determination in Business transactions in CRM 7.0.
    1) Territories in business transactinos are determined based on partner function categories: employee and person responsible. If the employee is assigned to multiple territories, which territory is determined for the transaction.
    a) Is it the territory for which he is assigned the 'Default territory' flag'?
    b) What if the employee does not have any territories with the 'Default territory' set?
    2) We have had SAP CRM since the last 6-7 years and recently upgraded to CRM 7.0. When I use the transaction searches in the Web UI using the search parameters 'Territory ID' and 'Territory description' we can't see any old transactions in the search results. We can only see the test transactions that were created after we ran the master data reln. update program CRM_TERRMAN_PROC_REL. Is there another program which updates transactional data relationships similar to the master data one?
    Appreciate your inputs.

  • Revenue Account Determination based on Sales Order Document Type & Service Order Type

    Hi Expert,
I have Customer Service Module with Resource Related Billing for services attached with SD.
When DP90 runs sales document debit memo request is created & then debt memo is created.
I need to configure Revenue Account Determination based on Sales Order Type and also based on Service Order Type.
I did not see any field catalogue in revenue account determination for order type, For communication structure KOMKCV Header and KOMPCV Item level there is no field for sales order type nor service order type.
Is it possible to bring in both order types? Can ABAP person do it?
    How to bring these fields?
Is it possible & recommendd to have service order type filed AURAT for service order into this sturcture?
Is this configuration is OK acceptable by SAP? If so is there any chnace for issues errors & wrong determination from FI CO view?
Your valued input is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Prakash Parikh

    Hi Prakash,
Yes, you can certainly add new table fields into the field catalog KOMKCV and KOMPCV and use it during account determination. You will also have to add these new fields in the user exit RV60AFZZ for it to work. I believe you will need ABAPer's help to make this work. The abaper will have to crate a ZZFIELD (ZZAUART for example) and put it in the structure and use the same in the user exit to pass the values.
In your case, what I am not sure is, are you looking to modify the existing standard tables or creating new ones. My suggestion is to create the new condition tables with these new fields (like document type) after adding it to the field catalog. Only modify the access sequence (KOFI) in such a way that your new tables are access first before it goes into standard tables (or you can adjust it according to your scenario.
We have done it in our company and it is working fine. Basically what we have done is to create new tables instead of modifying the standard ones. We have adjusted the access sequence in such a way that some of our custom tables are accessed first before the standard SAP tables (C001 to C005).
I found a similar requirement on SCN. This might help.
Adding New Field in Account Determination
    Hope this helps.

  • R3 - CRM Replication: Sales Rep, Accounting Clerk, Plant

I am looking for doco or a least a knowledge of how to perform replication from R3 to CRM of the following:
    Sales Rep
    Accounting Clerk
    Plant
When a customer is transferred to CRM I am looking for the above 3 objects to be transferred and associated with the BP in CRM.  Is this possible in the standard delivery of CRM 4.0?
    Appreciate any advice.
    Thanks
    K

Katrina, when you load our business partners and assuming you have maintained your Account Group - Classification mapping accordingly, these objects should be loaded into their respectives roles. After having finished the BP load ou resume with the BP relationship load and these relations should be created accordingly as well. Tiest.

Sales Org : 1000, Distribution Channel: 10 and Division : 01 (Division is not displayed in opportunity)
But when I created ERP sales order as follow-up document from opportunity, system checks for sales area 1000, 10, 00 (This sales area or Division u201800u2019 doesnu2019t exist in either systems ERP / CRM) and gives a error message.
If you have any idea how sales area determination works in follow-up ERP Sales order please share.
your help will be highly appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi Christian,
If the service order line items are entittled to service contract , at each item level you will get contract info in contract data tab.
when you transfer these items to confirmation , confirmation item contract data will not have contract information. Only when you enter items in confirmation manually then system will pop up window for selection contract and confirmation items get contract information.

  • Writing IIF Statements for Sales Reps Goals

I have a query that takes all of the Sales Reps Goals and divides them into daily goals based on Potential sales days. This works perfectly when a rep starts before the beginning of the year. The issue I have is when a rep starts mid-year. If a rep starts
in June the goal should be divided by the remaining sales days left in the year and not the full year. I want to write an IIF statement that says if the rep's hire date is greater than 1/1/2015 then calculate based on remaining sales days. The query that works

  • Sales rep with customer

    Hi
where can i get sales rep information for customer, any table to get

    Hello,
There is no standard salesman data maintaince provided by SAP.
You need to determine partner function and then establish the link at header or item based to the characteristics of the products.
Hope this link may be useful for your purpose (past forum posts).

  • Organization data determination based on custom partner entered in transactions

    Hi Folks,
I want org data determination to happen based on a custom partner(say sales rep) entered in my transaction.Which rule is the closest so that I can apply the same.
    Regards
    Jaya

    Hi Jaya
As your Business Partner is custom, then you'll need to create a custom Determination Rule anyway.
So in SPRO under Organizational Data Determination - Maintain Determination Rules.
Take a look at rule 10000280 - REG_SERV_04, it's probably still not a great fit, either way create the rule, copy the function module to a Z version and then adjust the code to incorporate the Sales Rep look-up.
Then you can assign the Rule to your own Organizational Data Determination Profile
Hope this helps get you started in the right direction.

  • Warranty id not getting determined based on the warranty counter

    Hi,
We are trying to determine the warranty id from the counter reading.
    Scenario:
We are confirming the vehicle and the business partner and create a service order . We are entering the reading in the service order and want to get the warranty product determined based on the counter reading.
First free service at counter reading of 5000 kms
Second free service at counter reading of 10,000 kms
We have followed the following steps:
    1. Warranty product with Warranty basis as Counter dependant and Warranty counter data with the value.
    2. For the Vehicle object in relationships we have assigned a counter id.
However we are unable to determine the warranty id
Is there something that we are missing. Would really appreciate a solution.

    Hi Ayan,
Firstly, whlich version of SAP CRM you are working on?
    If it is CRM 5.0
Apply Note 1009244 - 'Counter attribute' field missing in CRM 5.0.
This note will get the counter attribute field in the Counter creation screen.
    Check these steps again:
    1.  Create a counter warranty. Ensure nothing is excluded.
    2. Create a counter  and assign it prouct master or installed base component.
    3. If you have assigned it to a product master, in the service transaction enter the reference data as well.
Ensure that warranty check profile has been assigned
    4. Once you enter a service product your warranty must get determined.
    5. If not, check the log in the warranty tab, it shall give u the details.
    Wish it helps.

  • Material Determination based on Availability

    Hi SD gurus,
I have a client requirement as below:
We create order via BAPI. Data comes from ext call center system.
Whenever Matnr A is entered in Sales order & it is not available then Matnr B should come.
1: I know that we can handle this in Material Determination. I did req. config in IMG
2: I have created VB11 stating that MATNR A should be substituted by Matnr B. I have ticked the MRP ind in VB11 as well.
    Now the question is:
When I enter MATNR A in sales order, & assuming its not available then, MATNR B will come in Sales order.
In my case it is happening. But whenever this happens what should be the item category of the MATNR A & MATNR B?
Please let me understand how will standard SAP behave.
I thought the item A should appear as Text item & probably item B should become relevant for delivery & pricing.
But currently I am getting item category TAX for item A & TAPS for item B in sand box. Is that correct?
What should be the standard item categories in this case?
    regards

    Hi,
The system runs several checks on on each possible substitute, for example to determine if the customer would accept the product based on the product attributes and current stock availability. The system checks substitute materials until the order quantity is satisfied, or until there are no more possible substitutes.
When a valid alternative is found, the system creates a sub-item for it, using the item category that you have defined for the main material in Customizing.
If there is not enough inventory for the alternatives to cover a required quantity, the system confirms only the available amount and ignores the rest. The main item contains information on the confirmed quantity of the sub-item, but is not relevant for planning. For this reason, the material shortage is not passed on to planning.
If you set the material requirements planning indicator for one of the alternatives, however, the system creates an additional sub-item for this material, assigning it a confirmed quantity equal to zero, and a required quantity equal to the open quantity. Since this material is placed as the final alternative in the substitution, it captures any remaining quantities. The system takes this item into account and passes the material shortage on to planning.
Based on your settings Customizing, the system performs pricing at the main or sub-item level.
There are two separate item categories in sales documents for product selection. The item category TAX contains specifications for the main item (original product). The other, TAPS, contains specifications for the sub-items (substitute product).
Review the item category configurations in the standard system. If these do not meet your requirements, perform the activities in the following topics to modify the item category configuration, or create your own categories. Note that if your product selection procedure requires that pricing be done at the main item instead of the sub-item, you will have to create new item categories.
The following examples detail how pricing is carried out at the main item level and sub-item level for product selection.
    Pricing at the Main Item
the price for the order is determined based on the price condition records for the main item only. You have deactivated pricing for the sub-item category, so the system does not determine a price for it. Since both the main item and the sub-item categories are relevant for billing, the prices (even if there is no price) are copied to the invoice and billed accordingly.
    Pricing at the Sub-item
the price for the order is determined based on the price condition records for the sub-items. You have deactivated pricing for the main item category, so the system does not determine a price for it. Since both the main item and the sub-item categories are relevant for billing, the prices (even if there is no price) are copied to the invoice and billed accordingly.
