Sales cloud and On premise OBIEE integration

Hello
Customer has Sales cloud and on premise OBIEE 11g and would like to embed OBIEE dashboard to sales cloud customer screen. Simple adding of HTML iframe doesn't work, as I guess clickjacking protection is working. So question is how is possible embed on premise OBIEE dashboard to Sales Cloud. For on priemse Fusion application I found property oracle.adf.view.rich.security.FRAME_BUSTING which switch on or off clickjacking protecton. Is it possible to disable this property on Sales Cloud?
What other way of embeding of OBIEE reports are available?
Thanks in advance,
Vladimir

Hi Vladimir,
the clickjacking protection you mentioned is indeed in place, but it is meant to prevent the embedding of Fusion Apps (incl. Sales Cloud) UIs into iFrames.
Your scenario seems to be the other way around: you want to embed content into an iFrame provided by Sales Cloud, right?  In that case, the clickjacking protection of the embedded UI served by OBIEE comes into play.  And since it's on premises, you hopefully have control over it (though I don't know how you control it since I am not an OBIEE expert).  The way I typically test whether a page can be successfully iFramed is by building a very simple static html page hosted on a server somewhere, with its primary content being an iFrame for the desired page.
For further reference, I wrote about iFrame issues on our blog: http://blogs.oracle.com/fadevrel/entry/troubleshooting_embedded_web_content
Hope this helps!

  • Cloud and On premise BizTalk integration.

    Hi,
Currently we have one .net web base application(On premise) integrated with finance system(On premise) using BizTalk server(On premise). here we have published orchestration as WCF service to get read only data from finance system to display in .Net web
    application.
Is it possible another application(.net) in cloud use same WCF service (published from orchestration) which is hosted in BizTalk server (On premise) ?
Could you please suggest some approve here with minimum code/design changes?
    Thanks and Regards
    Suman

    So flow will be
(1)Cloud base application's request -> (2)BizTalk service hosted in cloud -> BizTalk receive location (On premise) -> Finance system -> Response from Finance system ->Response to BizTalk service hosted in
cloud -> Response to Cloud base application.
Could you let me know which binding (NetTcpRelay/BasicHttpRelay) is preferable on performance base in hybrid application.
Can you refer to me some link/blog?
    Regards
    Suman
    Not exactly.
    First, it can be "any
based application request". Client can be anywhere.
Second, the Azure Relay service calls the same on-premises hosted BizTalk service. The Relay service works as an intermediary service, hiding your BTS service from external clients.

  • Protecting users and their emails after FA-P2T on Cloud and on-premise environments

    Hello everyone,
I would like to share this helpful article to let you know how to protect user's emails after a FA-P2T(production to test) procedure on-premise environments, and make it possible for Cloud(thru SRs, if approved, of course).
thiagoleoncio: Protecting users and their emails after FA-P2T on Cloud environments
    I hope it helps,
    Thiago Leoncio.

I had exactly same issue. And it was hard for me to troubleshoot too. Here is what I did,
Forced "Outlook Anywhere" even when users were in internal LAN. The issue did not appear. This gave me the idea that since Outlook Anywhere is encrypted (HTTPS) connection there was no interference with
traffic between Outlook and Exchange. This tells me that some other network devices were interfering with this traffic.
In my case, it was WAN Acceleration (Riverbed). Riverbed did acknowledged this issue and pointed us to their KB article. Good luck convincing your network guys though. If HTTPS work, keep using it. It
will eventually irritate the network guys as they cannot compress encrypted traffic ( if you don't provide them the certificate).
I know this is shot in the dark as I don't know your network.
Exchange server reboot could be completely different issue. I have no idea why.
    I hope this helps.

  • Developing in cloud for cloud and on premise solutions

    Hello,
I'll be developing software and plan on doing the development in the cloud to help with programs like Successfactors. Will the programs that I develop in the cloud be useable, 'as is' for the on-prem versions of that software? Is this the same for all other SAP cloud offerings?
    Thanks,

    Hi Jim,
You can become a partner with access to a SuccessFactors system for a very reasonable price:
    https://www.sapappsdevelopmentpartnercenter.com/en/get-started/cloud-applications/successfactors-extensions/
however, I'm not sure this would give you access to the provisioning area of SuccessFactors where you need to make the SAML/SSO configurations.
Generally you must be a SuccessFactors partner and have completed the Introduction to Mastery course before you get provisioning access.
But if anyone can help you out the SAP teams in this area are the most helpful anywhere!
    Good luck.

  • Exchange 2013 mailbox migration from third party cloud to on premises

    Hi,
we are currently utilizing a third party exchange 2013 cloud service to host user's mailboxes (  intermedia), now we implemented an exchange 2013 on-premises environment in Hyper V infrastructure and want to plan migration of mailboxes and related configuration.
cloud and on-premises environment have same SMTP domain ( Eg: XYZ.ORG) and currently an additional Temporary SMTP domain ( XYZ.CO ) used to test the external mailflow of on-premises since xyz.org is registered with cloud.
we need to migrate all mailboxes to on premises and enable XYZ.ORG for on-premises.
Pls suggest the prerequisites, steps, best practices for migration
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sumesh,
    1. Please make sure your mails are flowing correctly using XYZ.CO domain. Hope you have XYZ.ORG also created in Exchange.
    2. Hope you already created the users in your Exchange2013 server and distribution groups for current users
    3. You plan a weekend for changing your MX records.
    4. Change MX and A records to a lower TTL days before the migration to decrease DNS update time on migration day
    5. Export Hosted Exchange data for each user to PST files  using the PST capture tool and move your PSTs to a centralized location.
    6. Change MX and A records to point to on-premises Exchange 2013
    7. Import Hosted Exchange data from PST files into the new Exchange profiles
    Please check these as well

  • Queries on Fusion P2P (on cloud) and Oracle GL (on premise) coexistence

I have a few queries around co-existence model e.g Fusion P2P on Cloud with R12 GL on premise.
In the Oracle Enterprise Repository (OER) , there is a scenario for coexistence solution of Fusion P2P (on cloud) with Oracle GL  (on premise). Assuming P2P is on a SaaS solution, i am  looking for specific guidance around the following ..
    1. What are the incremental steps / activities needed to connect the SaaS P2P environment with on-premise R12 environment?  Is there any Oracle document that talks about these steps ?
    2. Assuming that there is no change to the Legal Entities, Ledger and COA as existing in the on-premise environment; how will these common setups become available in the SaaS P2P environment. Same for employees defined in HRMS software. Does this need additional configuration activities (outside of the Procurement and Payables configuration) to be done in SaaS environment ?
    3. Should there be a need to have a  new ledger and/or BU for this Fusion P2P process , does this Ledger / BU need to be defined on the Cloud environment or on the on premise environment ?
    4. In the Oracle packaged coexistence model for Cloud P2P with on premise GL -  is Cash Management considered to be part of Cloud or on premise environment? The swimlane process in OER does not show Cash Management module ..
    Thank You !!

  • Integrating Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service (BICS)

Ever wondered how to integrate Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud with Business Intelligence Cloud Service (BICS) ?
The blog outlines how to programmatically load Sales Cloud data into BICS, making it readily available to model and display on BICS dashboards.
    http://www.ateam-oracle.com/integrating-oracle-fusion-sales-cloud-with-oracle-business-intelligence-cloud-service-bics/

I wouldn't try installing Oracle VM itself on an EC2 instance, as EC2 is essentially Xen itself. Rather, you should just be able to transport existing Oracle VM images to the EC2 cloud. I think this is what you mean, but your opening paragraph is slightly ambiguous. :)
From a VPN perspective, I'd use OpenVPN as it has clients for all major operating systems (Windows, MacOS X, Linux) that are fairly easy to package and install. Packages for OpenVPN exist in EPEL so it's easy to install on OEL5. You could also consider using a firewall instead of a VPN and only allowing connectivity from specific IP addresses/ranges. This has the benefit of not requiring client software, but it does require a fixed IP address/range on the client-side.

  • OSN and Oracle Sales cloud

Can we add people who are external to Fusion application as participants, for e.g. customer, contacts?
Can we add people who are using different Fusion application pillar for e.g. Fusion HCM as participants?
Can we archive and purge conversations?
Can we integrate OSN with other Social Apps?
Is it possible to use any other social app from Sales Cloud in lieu of OSN?

Hello to address the questions below:
Can we add people who are external to Fusion application as participants, for e.g. customer, contacts? - Yes you can complete this one by one through the Admin Consol = https://syosn1xPOD.fs.ap1.oraclecloud.com/adminConsole
Can we add people who are using different Fusion application pillar for e.g. Fusion HCM as participants? - Yes all Fusion Users can access OSN assuming they have access to the record they are viewing.
Can we archive and purge conversations? - Not Automatically as an Admin i normally close these off after communication.
Can we integrate OSN with other Social Apps? - Yes there is now a REST API
Is it possible to use any other social app from Sales Cloud in lieu of OSN? - Perhaps but i wouldn't.
    Hope this helps.

    HI Manoja,
    a) Integration between Sales Order and  Inventory module.
While creating sales order due to Strategy group in MRP3 view of material master does an availability check and determines the first date of availability.
b)Integration between delivery and  Inventory module.
At the time of PGI (Goods issue)
Cost of Goods Sold is debited due to configuration in OBYC GBB T-Key To Inventory Account
c)Integration between Invoice and FI module.
In account assignment(that reminds me of your previous que CONDITION TECHNIQUE is used for Account Determination as well)
    Tcode VKOA
Also when Billing document is released to Accounting
Customer Account is debited for the amount in Invoice.
and credited to Sales Revenue Account
Hope this clarifies to some extent

  • How to do reconciliation for Accounts and Contacts import job in sales cloud

    Hello,
We have imported Accounts and Contacts data from Siebel CRM to Sales Cloud using File based import. Looking at the log file we noticed that data successfully imported into sales cloud. Now we want to reconcile it at database level by doing query to make sure that data got correctly populated into respective table and columns.
Could you pls let us know the table name for contact entity where all the related data along with primay field resides so we can verify the correctness of data that got imported.
      Appreciated your quick response.
    Thanks,

Try looking in RSA7 and see if there are transactions posted there.  If so, maybe you did not use the right parameters in RSA3.  Make sure you select Update Mode = D and you select the right Target system.
    Hope this helps.
BTW, leave the ERDAT selection field blank.

  • Sales Process And EDI Idocs Integration

    Hi Friends,,
Good Day To You All !!!!
Please enhance my knowledge with your valuable reply.
I am new to ABAP and would like to learn the following .
    1. Sales process - Starting from the Purchase Order Till shipment is created (All TCodes and the definations of the terms used like procurement , scheduled line, handling unit and all those terms coming into picture till the Sales process comes to an end).
2 . Idocs -  Transaction Codes,Definations Of Terms like message types , basic types etc, etc,
I need the above information to get a clear picture of the process taking below.
What if an interface exists between SAP and a Non-SAP system(say Siebel system ) .The customer being the Non-SAP system and the Vendor our SAP system . Then the flow of the sales process taking place , with the PO coming from the Non-SAP system through inbound idoc and immediate ATP date going from SAP through the outbound Idoc..the process continues with the creation of delivery then shipment. Each of these triggering their respective idocs .
And the idocs update the corresponding status in Siebel .
I hope you guys would have understood by now , as to why i need the information on Sales Process and Idocs.
    Thanks.
    With regards,

    Hello,
If you want to Set up an Inbound Process for Sales Order Changes, all you have to do is
    1. Maintain the Partner Profiles for the Inbound Message Type & Process Code in WE20.
    2. The Assignment for Function Module IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG is already available in WE42 Transaction for the Process Code ORDC. So, you don't have to worry about setting up the Process Code.
    3. Take a Sample IDoc of Type ORDCHG Message Type in WE19 and try posting it for the Given Sales Order. If you would like to know more about what it does, Post it using Debugging Mode.
The above Process is for Sales Order Changes via Inbound IDoc. Below are the Steps for the Outbound Delivery IDoc Trigger.
    1. The Process Code DELV already has the Selection Program IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY in Transaction WE41. So, you dont have to worry about Setting Up the Process Code.
    2. Also, check your field list. Open the IDoc Type DELVRY05 in the Transaction WE60 which is for IDoc Documentation. Check if all the Fields mentioned in your the list that you want to send are available in the Standard IDoc Type. If not, create a Custom Segment in WE31 & Assign the Custom Segment at an appropriate place in the Extended IDoc Type in WE30.
All the Standard Segments / Fields available in the DELVRY05 IDoc Type will be automatically be populated by the Standard Selection Program IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY. However, if you have an IDoc Extension and would like to populate the Custom Segment / Fields, then you'll have to use the Customer Exit EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 in which you can write Code for populating the Custom Segments / Fields.
    3. The Most important Thing that we need to take care of is Message Control Configuration while handling the Outbound EDI Scenario.
    4. You need to Set up the Output Type for the Delivery Application (V2) for which you need to maintain Condition Records so that the Output Type is proposed automatically when the Delivery is being Saved.
    5. In general, the Message Control Configuration is done by the Functional Team. So, ask your Functional Consultant to set up the Message Control Configuration for the Delivery IDoc Trigger.
    Hope it was clear enough.
