Sales order - auto enable of procurement in logistic

Hi Experts
is there any setups available to enable automatically procurement document in logistic tab in sales order ? Or how it should be make it as mandatory selection?
Asupathy

Hi Asupathy Raja,
You can Block the sales order using the Transaction Notification if there is no stock for the items involved in the sales order..
          IF @transaction_type in ('A') AND (@OBJECT_TYPE='17')
            BEGIN
If exists (select T0.DocEntry from ORDR  t0
                 inner join RDR1 t1 on t1.DocEntry=t0.DocEntry
inner join OITM t2 on t2.ItemCode=t1.ItemCode
                 where T0.DocEntry =  @list_of_cols_val_tab_del and T0.[PoPrss] <> 'Y' and t2.OnHand<='0')
                 Begin
                      SET @error = 10
SET @error_message = 'Stock not aviable Please select procurement check box'
                 End
       End
Hope helpful

  • Aseembly order entry in sales order--item schedule line--Procurement tab

    Hi all,
i created a Sales order which includes BOM explosion under which i am trying to seek Assembly order no under Item -- schedule lines-- procurement tab.
currently i am not getting any such data in the particular screen at all.
can anyone suggest if any IMG activity is missing which needs to be configured for geeting the same(assembly order entry inside sales order screen.)
    antipitaing replies.
    -ujjwal

    Hi
    Just try once as below.
Do not create it as a BOM material first of all.
For the Main-item, change the Item category group in the Material master to "0001" and save.
Ensure the Item category assignment in VOV4 as
    Order type + Item category group (e,g. 0001) -
    > Item category (TAK).
Now, create the new order for the Main-item, manually add the sub-items in the sales order, specify the "Hgh level item number" (item number of the main item) > click enter > save.
Now, in VA02, check schedule line > Procurement tab.

  • Sales order auto PO

    Dear All,
For a third party process, settings can be made such that a purchase requisition gets generated once the sales order doc is saved.
Instead of the PR, is there a possibility that on saving the sales order a purchase order (PO) gets generated.
    Thanks...

    Thanks for that Kasi...
    more questions on your way...
In sales order, can we default the delivery block for the line items...we do not want it at the header level, as the delivery block for line items can be removed as and when paymets are received and the delivery can be made...
this default delivery block will make the work of sales order creator simpler...the commercial guy will remove the block as and when payments are received...which facilitates the creation of delivery...
    Thanks..

  • External Procurement with a Valuated Sales Order Stock

    Hi Experts,
I read the following in SAP Help,
For external procurement with a Valuated Sales Order Stock, system generates a purchase requisition from the sales order.
If you are using a valuated sales order stock, the externally procured material is assigned to inventory at the time of the goods receipt. If the sales order item is flagged as carrying costs and revenues, then when the goods issue for delivery to the customer takes place, the sales order item is debited with the costs of the externally procured material.
My question is - it says costs of external procurement is debited to sales order item when " goods issue for delivery to the customer takes place"
           - but in my case, when I made the GR for purchase order (created automatically by sales order), system directly posted the procurement cost as actual costs to the sales order item. There is no delivery for sales order done still.
So actually, when should the external procurement cost be debited to sales order item -- when GR for purchase order is done (or) when  goods issue for delivery to the customer takes place?
    Thanks,
    GAN

    Hi Rafi,
Thanks for your reply. I understand the problem now.
Material which comes from prod order is posted statistically (value type 11) to sales order when GR for prod order is done.
Here, the issue is about a GR for purchase order (assigned to sales order). This material purchased is not used in any production process. Its a material which is supplied to customer along with main material produced in house.
In purchase order, I have given the consumption account (which is cost element 1). Entry was Consumption Dr and GR/IR Cr. So, this posted as actual cost to sales order.
I should have given inventory account in purchase order (with cost element 90).
Its a mistake of using consumption account in purchase order.
    Thanks.
    GAN.

  • Procurement tab in Sales order displays two line items per material

    Folks
I am not a SD guy and i have a very basic question on how to read the details in the procurement tab for a sals order.
In the Procurement tab of a Sales order, two line items per material are displayed as shown below. whats does this mean ?
Further, I had observed the below differences in the below 2 lines
    1. Mat. Avail Date is 06/19/2007 for line 1 & 06/20/2007 in line 2.why r the dates different ?whats the significance?
    2. Confirmed qty is 0 line 1 & 1in line 2.( when does confirmation trigger or update ? Is it upon ATP check or upon delivery ?)
    3. Order qty is 1 line 1 & 0 in line 2.
Item     Material     Plant     Confirmed Qty     SU     Mat. Avial Date     SL     Req. Type          Deliv. Date     ATP Qty     Loading dt     Route     Part. Deliv/ Item     Deliv priority     Desc
    10     NTE801NC     2400     0     EA     6/15/2007     CT          D     6/19/2007     0     6/15/2007     24GB03     C     98     Priority 98 (Normal)
                                    1     EA     6/15/2007     CT          D     6/20/2007                   6/15/2007                    Priority 98 (Normal)
    Thanks

It means  2 schedule line for that materials ,
06/19/2007  is the date on which material is requested by  customer  but there is not sufficient stock on that day so 0 quantity is confirmed for that day.
On 06/20/2007 material is availabe and you can start delivery to customer on 06/20/2007 and system confirms the material for 20th and it is reserved for this sales order.
Confirmation is based on your MAT ( Material availability date ), but you can revist these dates through by triggering availabilty check or Back order processing through GATP or ATP.

  • Account Determination for the Procurement of Sales Order Stock

    Dear All,
I am trying to a procure stock with reference to  a sales order(with Account Assignment Cat E in PO),System is not picking/posting the stock into BSX inventory Account upon Goods Receipt.
The requirement is to post the sales order stock procured on to the Inventory Account BSX and to be shown seperately as Sales order stock.
    Please advice.
    Regards
    Karthik

    Hi,
Go to sales order VA03, here under "Procurement" Tab, check the "RqTy" (Requirement type for e.g. KE)
Now go to OVZH, here check the requirement class for Requirement type KE, it will be "040" for e.g.
    Now go to SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Account Assignment/Costing > Maintain Requirements Classes For Costing/Account Assignment > Here for Requirement Class "040", enter following;
    Acct assignment cat.        E
Valuation                   M (Separate valuation with ref. to sales document/project)
Then do the cycle again and check.

  • FG production on sales order but RM procurement on Sales Contract.

    Dear Gurus
Here is the client requirement for Planning and Procurements of FGS and Rms.( Process Industry)
    1) Client wants to make sales Contract VA41 for FG in which they will create schedule line for item with delivery date in Month format with Quantity.
From VA41 sales contract creation , they want their RMS to be Procured but NO MRP should be run or impacted for Final Assembly. In short NO MRP for FG
    2) After VA41,  they again want to run VA41 in which they will create ''With reference and in contract tab, they will make Customer PO with reference to above Contract. This number will give them a Qty Variance between customer's purchase order and the sales documents created.
    3) Again with Reference of Customer PO, they will make a Sales order from VA41 and this sales order they will Produce their FG.
So FG Production is Sales order driven but RM procurement is Sales Contract driven.
    1) Which Planning strategy i should assign to RM and FG?
    2) What will be step by step configuration guide from PP and SD side.?
    Appreciate your reply
    Thanks
    Shailesh

    In SPRO
goto SD>Schedule line>Define schedule line categories
here check if the schedule line category associated with your mentioned order has a flag ticked for Availability.
    Availability check for sales
You must carry out an availability check for the following transaction.
The indicator is determined as a proposal in conjunction with the respective requirements type. It can be changed in individual shipping transactions. However, only one restriction is effective.
    Example
You do not set an indicator for maintaining the requirements type. In this case, no availability check is carried out. This is independent of the selection in the respective transaction.
You set an indicator for maintaining the requirements type. In this case you can decide whether or not you require an availability check for the relevant transaction.
    reward points if it helps

  • Sales Order Pricing User Exit Problem

    Hi,
I am facing a problem related to coding in Sales Order pricing user exits. Scenario is as mentioned below:
Based on Material Entered and Sold To in Sales Order, auto determination of a manual pricing condition happens. For doing this, coding has been done in USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP by changing XKOMV table. Auto determination of the manual price is happening properly.
From Sales Overview Screen when user goes to the Conditions tab, Net Value is not getting calculated. When we navigate away to Schedule line tab and then come back to COnditions tab, Net Value is automatically getting calculated.
AM i missing something in the coding part? As the data is getting populated automatically I guess some piece of code needs to be triggered. Can anyone shed some light into this.
    Thanks in advance,
    thunderans.

Prabhu: After filling in XKOMV structure, I am calling FM PRICING. On doing this, the Sales Pricing is getting calculated but even then net value of order at header i.e VBAK-NETWR is not getting populated when we are in Sales Overview screen. When, I am getting into Conditions tab and coming back to Sales Overview screen, Net value is getting populated correctly. This portion of everything not getting populated at the same time is bothering me. The pricing conditon that I am  filling is a manual pricing condition.
I put a breakpoint after FM PRICING which correctly populates XKOMV structure. How do I properly update Order Net Value in Sales Overview screen wihtout having to navigate to any other tab?
Nicklas: I am looping at Order line within the user exit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP and determining price. Once all line items are processed, I am using the FM PRICING for calculating Sales Prices.
J@Y: Request to send me a bit more details into your approach.

  • Left over of Sales Order creates new planned order of whole batch

    Hi Gurus,
We are using planning without Assembly strategy (52) and Sales order is created in our sales plant and Purchase order from sales plant creates STO on manufacturing plant which than produces material using process order.
Now sales order says 5000 EA but actual production is if 4985 EA in Manufacturing plant which is transported into Sales plant and sales plant receives 4985 EA which keeps sales order of 5EA in the system
When MRP runs overnight creates planned order for left over quantity and it is of whole batch 5000 EA. This confuse our planner.
Can anyone provide me the solution please?
    Regards,
    SAPPPPI

    Hi,
For strategy 52 FX never works so we have lot sixe "EX".
We have set up tolerance limit of +/- 10% but when less quantity is received (4985 instead of 5000)  from manufacturing plant system thinks there is an open sales sales order of 15 and creates a new planed order.
If we have materials 4980 in stock and we create  a sales order for 5000, tolerance will be considered for this and there won't be any open sales order but in our case Sales order allows us to procure and when GR quantity is less than sales order it is treated as left over and create planned order.
Please help me by replying if any one knows.

  • Sales order stock problem at the time of PGI

    Dear Experts
When a sales order is being created , the delivery is done. The moment PGI is done the system gives  a error prompt as " sales order stock XXXXX not created for the item YYYY"
I dont want this to happen.
I wish that at the time of PGI system should simply and directly pick the qty from the storage location and do the PGI.
Also we dont have availabilty check at the delivery item ctgy level.
    Expert suggestions are required.

    Hi
Go to MB1B and enter movement type 412 , special stock E and enter
then enter sales order no and item no
enter storage location, material and quantity and save it
other wise in sales order VA02
go to procurement tab in the overview screen change requirement type to daily requirement
you will need not to do the above process

  • How to get tabs in the sales order in desired manner

    hi,
While creating sales order i want the procurement tab to come 1st.
I found something called   ( FCode for overv.scr. UER2) in VOV8 but i dont know where to configure.
or do i need to go for some screen exit.
or can i use SHD0 and how for this scenrio.
    please give your valuable suggestions.
    Regards
    Anil

As per my best knowledge ther's no such setting. Copy control works only when you are creating the delivery from the SO.
So, I think you have two options - basically:
    - modify the already created delivery manually
    - delete the delivery and create a new one form the updated SO

  • Picking List from Sales Order not working

I have a client with SBO 2007, SP01, PL 05 and I am unable to get the Picking List preview from the Sales Order.
I have set the Printing Preferences for the Sales Order to enable Print Picking Sheet.  The Logistics tab of the Sales Order has the Print Picking Sheet enabled.  The items in the sales order are all inventory items also.  What other settings should I look at?
    Thank you, Jeff

What is the significance of the RDR8 table?  There is not data in that table but I have another client's database on the same machine and it asks if you want a Sales Order or Pick List when you click on the print preview button and there is nothing in the RDR8 table on that database too?
    Thanks, Jeff

  • "Procurement Wizard"  window opens for a particular warehouse while saving Sales Order

    Hello All,
We have upgraded SAP B1 8.8 to SAP B1 9.0
My client is facing one of problem while saving Sales order using particular warehouse.
Actually client is having 4 warehouses (A,B,C,D) in which if they use one particular warehouse "A" for saving Sales order they are facing a issue. The scenario is here below:
    1. Client selects all required details of sales order with along with particular warehouse "A".
    2. On saving SO "Procurement Wizard" is automatically triggered even if procurement document field is unchecked in logistic tab of SO.
    3. This is happening only for a particular warehouse "A". Whereas if I select other 3 warehouses (B,C,D) the system saves SO without trigerring "Procurement Wizard".
Client is using SAP B1 9.0 PL 08
We don't want this  "Procurement Wizard" window to open for this. As we haven't selected any check box for  "Procurement Wizard" so it should not open for a particular warehouse "A".
Do you think any issue with my warehouse or system settings? Please let me know.
    Please refer screen shots.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Saurabh,
As per your Screen Shot, I think you have Add-on.
Please stop that Add-on and then check above Scenario.
