Sales Order Generation

Hi,
‘A’ is the existing company , ‘B’ is the new company which is been introduced. When a customer place order it is done in ‘A’.When the order is received from customer following things has to be done.
A Purchase order from ‘A’ to ‘B’ should be generated automatically, when ‘B” receive the Purchase order, a Sales order from ‘B’ should be generated automatically.
Please susggest the step & method (BAPI or IDoc) to be used for the above task

    Hi prassanna
    Check the following things
    1) In sales doc type OR  check LEAD TIME IN DAYS , if LEAD TIME IN DAYS is maintained , make it blank (zero)
    2) In the shipping point check weather  PICK TIME and PACK TIME are maintained or not, if they are maintained , make PICK TIME and PACK TIME feilds blank. i.e., make them zero.
    3) for the material , go to that particual MMR and check the RLT feild is maintained or not in sales gen/ plant view
    4) For the material , check weather any Inhouse production , is maintained in MMR or not in MRP1 view
    if you make zero all these things the delivery  date will be the sales order creation date.

    One is  Mfg Plant and another one is  Service plant
    I am generating the sale order in Service plant
    but the purchase requisition to be generated in Mfg plant
    Please tell me the way to configure the same in the system
    I dont want to use STO for that

    Hi,
    It is very simple..
    1. maintain material master for the both the Plant along with sales view (specifically the servie Plant)...Need to have MRP view aslo in both the plants.
    2. maintain the sales view in Service Plant and sales area. And have the delivery plant as mfg. Plant.( In config also the Mfg plant has to be assigned for the service sales org.)
    3. create the sales order and run the MRP.
    4. PR's will be created on the Mfg Plant.

    Friends, i need your Suggestion/Solution/Views for the below scenario in Stock Transfer,

    In Stock transfer, here we are treating the supplying plant as external vendor(Vendor Master) and raising an PO to the Vendor with our own value from receving plant. Based on the PO we are raising an sale order against supplying plant by treating the receiving plant as customer, Against the sale order we will do goods issue>>invoice.
    <b>PLS TELL ME WHETHER BELOW REQUIRMENT IS POSSIBLE</b>
    Here, When we save the PO, with reference to the PO it should trigger automatic sales order in Background/Foreground. Since, our most of the transaction is through stock transfer.

    STO CONFIG:
    The following steps have to be followed in order to configure stock transport order between two plants.
    1. Create a vendor for the Company code of the receiving plant using account group 0007 via T-Code XK01.
    2. In the purchasing data view assign the supplying plant and the schema group
    3. Create customer with the sales area of the vendor.
    4. The shipping conditions, the delivering plant and the transportation zone determine the route in the STO.
    5. In the pricing procedure determination relevant to the STO assign document pricing procedure and customer pricing procedure to get the pricing in the invoice.
    6. Maintain condition records for pricing condition.
    7. Maintain carrier as a partner in the customer master.
    8. In OMGN select the supplying plant and assign the company code and sales area. Similarly select the receiving plant and assign the company code and sales area (The company code to which the plant is assigned to).
    9. Assign the delivery type and checking rule to the document type.
    10. And finally, assign the purchasing document type to the supplying plant and the receiving plant.
    11. Create the STO using T-Code ME 21N and save.
    12. Check for release strategy if any and release using T-Code ME 28.
    13. Create delivery in background using VL10G.
    14. If delivery is created, it is an indication of correct configuration and master data creation.
    Stock transfer between two plants in different company codes is known as inter company stock transfer.
    Material should be maintained in both supplying and receiving plant MM01
    Stock should maintain only in supplying plant MB1C
    Create receiving plant as a customer in supplying plants company code and sales area XD01
    Assign this customer number in receiving plant details OMGN
    Assign supplying sales area in supplying plant details OMGN
    Assign delivery type NB for in combination of supplying/ receiving plants.
    Create STO ME21N
    As it is normal there in the item details we should get shipping date i.e. customer number
    Go for Delivery VL10B
    Shipping point *****
    Select PO go for execute
    then select the delivery then go for delvy ............create delvy,,,, delvy number generated.
    Goods Issue VL02
    Delvy doc **********
    Click on picking
    enter the picking qty
    Click on PGI
    in the mean time check in the PO history you will get the details
    Goods receipt MIGO
    Stock overview the stock will be updated....

  • Error in Media Sales Order Generation....... URGENT

    The problem is that for this one particular BP when i  try  to  create the media sales order ( in IS - MSD module ) through jksdorder01 it gives an error that the order is already  existing. So i  tried to  delete it through jksdorder03 , then it says that there is no order in the system corresponding to the selection.
    So i checked the tables VBAP , VBAK ,VBPA and VBKD but could not find any relevance to the order.
    Please Help me out with this ...........Its really URGENT....

    this is not an SD problem. It is an IS-media Request.
    The tables VBAK. VBAP and so on are not relevant for a MSD order.
    Please ask in the relevant forum for IS-Media.

    When we create a sales order with VA01 and enter in a material the system gets the item category from the following function module:

        EXPORTING
          T184_AUART   = TVAK-AUART

          T184_VWPOS   = T184_VWPOS
          VBAP_PSTYV_I = VBAP-PSTYV
        IMPORTING
          VBAP_PSTYV   = VBAP-PSTYV.
    VBAP-PSTYV will contain your item category.

  • Problem with Sales Order CIF IM-job running longer

    We have CIF integratiom Model generation(RIMODGEN) and activation(RIMODAC2) jobs
    running everyday in sequence.
    One of the jobs is for Sales Order Generation
    and activation. The activation job used to take 30-40 seconds earlier(since last
    1 year) but for the last month the job has been taking a lot of time to
    complete. And that too intermittently. On some days the job completes in 30-40
    seconds but on some it takes more than 3000 seconds(and still doesnt complete-
    eventually we mark it successful manually to let successor jobs to start).
    When we analysed the log for this job transfer in SLG1 we found out that
    during activation of this Integration Model, not only Sales Orders pertaining to
    new materials(that would have been added within the day between last IM
    generation job and current IM generation job) were getting transferred. But
    Sales orders pertaining to Materials(which have been active since a number of
    days) were also getting transferred. Ideally, any changes/new Sales orders
    pertaining to these older materials(which were already in an active integration
    model) should have been transferred real time and should not have waited to be
    transferred during the IM activation job.
    We have also noticed that for
    some Sales Olders(for which the materials were already active for long) and
    there has been NO change in the Sales Orders are also getting transferred
    throguh our IM activation job.
    The mesage that we see in the log for
    these Sales Order is shown below:
    Source system:XXXXXX user: RSP100
    transaction CFM2 T_SLS 0001119 function module: /SAPAPO/CIF_XXXXX (As far as I
    understand CFM2 T_SLS* prefix is for Sales Order transfer happen during IM
    activation job)

    in APO"

    Is the full name of the directory where you have your source code Documents and Settings as in Win2k or WinXP. In that case, move the source code to a different directory(you might like to create a separate directory). Note that the directory name should not have spaces in it. Try and see what you get.

    We need to see your requirement by breaking it into two steps. Both are possible.
    1) Generating Mass orders in CRM using the marketing Projects.
    2) Creating ERP order.
    Technically what you want is achievable. Personally i have not done it, but am confident it is possible.

    In Automatic PR generation during 3rd party sales order,the account category determination depends on following configuration:
    Step 1:
    Sales & Distribution-->Sales->Sales Documents->Sales Document Item->Define Item Categories--
    Check this configuration
    Step 2:
    Sales & Distribution-->Sales->Sales Documents->Sales Document Item->Define Schedule line CategoriesUnder this configuration ,for your scheduline item category ,check following entries ,Order type-NB ,Item Category---5 & Acct.Assingment category (3rd Party).
    Step3:
    Sales & Distribution-->Sales->Sales Documents->Sales Document Item--->Assign Schedule line Categories
    Then Assign the schedule line category to 3rd Party Item category defined .
    From this when PR get generated then acct.assingment category get populated automatically .

    No it is not mandarory if you use this serial control (At Sales Order Issue). If you use serial number control at receipt then serial number is mandatory at the time of pick confirming.

    At Receipt:
    You maintain serial numbers in inventory and transaction them in inventory for all transactions.
    At SO Issue:
    You enter the serial numbers only at the time of shipments.
    As IB knows the inventory controls it maintains the information accordignly. When in inventory serial numbers can be grouped into one instance as they do not have any serial number. Once shipped, the same instance will be split and is created as a different instance with the serial number.

    After saving the settings we have an calculated enpoint:

    2. Create a new Communication Arrangement in C4C for the Scenario "Print Preview of Business Documents in SAP Business Suite"

    Go to Advanced Settings and enter the URL you have captured from SOAMANAGER in the Create Endpoint section.
    Why we use the host and calculated endpoint from the ECC instead of the HCI settings, and maintain in HCI the target host and endpoint?
    The Check Service and Check Connection test was successfull.
    Finally if we try the scenario from C4C (Customers > {Select a Customer} > Opportunity > Sales Document > {Click the link}
    We got a blank new Window, in the C4C UI we get the error "PDF Document could not be retrieved"
    In the ECC > SOA Runtime Error Log i get the following Error!?
    What´s wrong with our config?

    There is nothing impossible in SAP. After all there is a code behind everything that we see in SAP screens and transactions and that code can be changed according to our requirement. That has always been m firm belief.
    Like I said get hold of your ABAP programmer and write out the spec and he should be able to do it.
    Its news for me that you can generate an automatic PO from a GR so if that is possible then why not this.
    Its not been attempted before.
    Try creating a new Sales doc type and map it to a delivery and see if it works. Much similar to a cash sale and rush order when both docs get generated immediately. Maybe you need to map your copy control criteria too in a way it can be done.Also maybe you need to create a new field called Immediae sales Order like we have an immediate delivery check box in a sales order so that an automatic sales order can be generated when you save a delivery.
    Like I said it needs some coding.

    I am trying to create sales order from a campaign. I get an error message: Sales orders are only generated when products and quantities are assigned. I have added a quantity in the order template, but from the campaign the is no field available for entering the quantity.

    In order to generate Sales order please use the BADI : CRM_MKT_MODIFY_ORDER
    Details:
    Interface - IF_EX_CRM_MKT_MODIFY_ORDER
    Method - MODIFY_SALES_ORDER_OBJ
    You can write your logic which passes required data to function modules 'CRM_MKT_SLSO_MODIFICIATION' and   "CRM_MKTTGGRP_PROC_SLSO_CREATE" correspondingly.

    This means that this IDOC types has capability to hold multiple HR Master data objects. PFAL program creates this IDOC and it has facility to mention the Objects per process, check selection screen.
    I checked for INVOICE01/02 its not possible there. Hope this clarifies.

    Hello Mukund
    It is talking about ALE- Application Link Enabling - not ALV. That is if you have distributed applications and use ALE to communicate between them. I don't think you need to do anything else. Just go ahead and test it. And if your MM Purchasing master data is set up correctly, you should be able to see the message about PO creation when the sales order is saved.
