Same item column(s) different valuecolumns

When trying to output a chart with the same itemcolumn
values, but different valuecolumn values cfchart only graphs the
second one. I would expect to get two slices of apples, one
equaling 10, the other 15, but I only get the 15. I'd even settle
for 25 apples!
apples - 10
apples - 15
oranges - 20
<cfscript>
level = queryNew('howmany,name');
queryAddRow(level);
querySetCell(level, 'howmany','10');
querySetCell(level, 'name','Apples');
queryAddRow(level);
querySetCell(level, 'howmany','15');
querySetCell(level, 'name','Apples');
queryAddRow(level);
querySetCell(level, 'howmany','20');
querySetCell(level, 'name','Oranges');
</cfscript>
<cfdump var="#level#">
<cfchart show3d="true" format="flash" chartwidth="800"
chartheight="550">
<cfchartseries type="pie"
query="level"
itemcolumn="name"
valuecolumn="howmany">
</cfchartseries>
</cfchart>
<cfchart show3d="true" format="flash" chartheight="500"
chartwidth="500">
<cfchartseries type="bar"
query="level"
itemcolumn="name"
valuecolumn="howmany">
</cfchartseries>
</cfchart>
how do you like them apples? I don't like them apples!

I'm not aware that this is a confirmed bug. Bug or not, what
is commonly known is that cfchart uses just a fraction of the
functionality Coldfusion gets from the WebCharts engine. It is not
easy to tell when a deficiency of the tag is by design or when it
is a bug.
However, Coldfusion redeems itself a little. You can use its
webcharts engine to build your own custom charts, as MikerRoo has
hinted. If you're on Windows, all you need to do is to double-click
on
C:\CFusionMX7\charting\webcharts.bat. You should then get a
webcharts interface.
Choose a chart-type from the
Chart Gallery and press
OK. You can customize the chart by changing the values in
the
Property/Value table in the
Design tab. The engine registers such changes automatically
in the
Code View tab. For more on the classes in the code, have a
look at the
WebCharts3D
v5.0 Developer’s Guide.
Here is an example based on your query.

  • Same item used in different pages & for different tables

    Hi,
    i created some items, which work like a filter for my tables. I've got a lot of tables and the items have always the same function. They filter the same column but they're used for different tables! If i want to copy 1 item to another page, it's forbidden to use the same name again and that's the reason why I've got to customize every item for every page. I can copy the items but i have to change the name and thats why i have to update the item name in my SQL Query & the Tablename. All which is marked i have to change for every page(new table)!
    where upper(TABLENAME) like '%' || upper(:P158_FILTER_TABLENAME) || '%'
    AND upper(KEYVALUE) like '%' || upper(:P158_FILTER_KEYVALUE) || '%'
    AND DATE_INSERTED_PDW >= to_date(:P158_FILTER_DATE_INSERTED_PDW,'DD.MM.YYYY')
    P158_FILTER_TABLENAME:
    select distinct TABLENAME d, TABLENAME r
    from ERR_MAPL //it's the tablename I have to update it on every new page/table
    order by 1
    By a Process I created i have the same Problem it's the same Process, it's only used in differnet tables:
    BEGIN
    FOR ii IN 1 .. WWV_Flow.g_f01.COUNT -- the row selector
    LOOP
    UPDATE ERR_MAPL SET RELOAD_FLAG = 1
    WHERE ERR_ID = WWV_Flow.g_f02(WWV_Flow.g_f01(ii));
    END LOOP;
    END;

    Hi Carl Rutter,
    You have to creat 2 special production order for this item. when issue the component make sure you issue the stock as per the cosumption becaue one have 10mmx10mm and the another item have 50x50 in this case you issue component by square inch wise. for example 10*10 = 100 squre inch.
    50*50 = 2500 square inch so the cost will be approtionate. you can Use multiple uom method to obtain this, other wise you have covert into stock then you issue the component. If you want traxk size wise ,you can use batch option for Finishe goods.

  • How do we do production orders for same item code in different sizes

    Hi,
    We have Items which we buy as a single sheet of material and our customers can ask for us to cut the complete sheet into different sizes before despatching it. i.e
    Item Code Sheet1: Sheet size 100mm x 100mm
    Customer asks for sheet to be cut into 10 off 10mm x 10mm sheets, which we presently put on the sales order as a line note
    We then generate a production order for this item and indicate on the production order printout the line note
    We've recently had a customer who has asked for Item 1 in two different sizes on the same sales order ie
    Order Line 1 Sheet1 Qty:1 Line note: cut into 10mm x 10mm sheets
    Order Line 2 Sheet1 Qty:1 Line note: cut into 50mm x 50mm sheets
    When generating the Production order SAP combines the items into
    Product No: Sheet1
    Planned Qty: 2
    Where as we want it to create 2 production orders 1 of each different sizes items.
    I know I can create BOMs for those two sizes, but customers can ask for the sheets to be cut to whatever size they want. Is the best method to create BOMs on the fly for each different sizing option or are there alternative methods that are easier to manage ?
    Thanks
    Carl

  • Same items moving on different pages

    So, my "logo" and menu move around depending on which page you are on.  I am placing different images behind the menu, so I have created a master page with menu only and then duplicated the page for different images to be place behind (so each page is it's own master, but duplicated from the same menu page).  Some pages everything stays the same, some pages it moves.  Any thoughts or suggestions? I have only just started this project so there isn't anything really there yet, but want to get this fixed before I continue on.  http://yaboproductions.businesscatalyst.com/

  • How to Get Choices as a Dropdown from a different Column for the same Item In a Document Library?

    Hello All,
    I was trying to see if there is any way that we can get the choices for a Field from another filed in the same item in a Document Library.
    To be specific.
    I have Created a Project Document Set, Which has a Column called "Project Members" where all the members will be listed. This will be inherited to all the documents in that Project Document Set. This is used to grant Permission using Workflow.
    I also have "Document Members" Column(This is only for Documents) who will be given Edit permissions to that Document using a Workflow. This can be any type of column(choice, People or Group etc) As long as I can select multiple values.
    I am looking for a way to get the "Project Members"(Values or Users) as choices for "Document Members". I know this is possible in the List as you can customize in the InfoPath Form. But not sure in the Document Library.
    Document Members can only be the members from the Project Members, In order to grant granular Permissions for the project And Documents using a Workflow

    No. A value set and a supply function are two completely different things. You use this Context API to populate the value set for an attribute:
    IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_INFO=>SET_ATTRIBUTE_VALUE_SET
    Value Sets are also how ByKey UI elements (like the DropDownByKey) are built.  Here is a help document that discusses value sets - but in the context of the ByKey UI elements.  The process is the same for creating the value set however:

  • The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information. Outcome: Unknown Error

    Received this error (The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information.) recently on a workflow that was
    working fine and no changes were made to the workflow.
    I have tried a few suggestions, i.e. adding a pause before any ‘Update’ action (which didn’t help because the workflow past this action without incident); checked the data type being written
    to the fields (the correct data types are being written); and we even checked the list schema to ensure the list names and the internal names are aligned (they
    are), but we still cannot figure out why the workflow is still throwing this error.
    We located the area within the workflow step where it is failing and we inserted a logging action to determine if the workflow would execute the logging action but it did not, but wrote the same error message.
    The workflow is a Reusable Approval workflow designed in SharePoint Designer 2010 and attached to a content type.
    The form associated with the list was modified in InfoPath 2010.
    Approvers would provide their approval in the InfoPath form which is then read by the workflow.
    Side note - items created after the workflow throws this Unknown Error some seem to be working fine.
    We have deleted the item in question and re-added it with no effect.
    Based on what we were able to determine there don’t seem to be any consistency with how this issue is behaving.
    Any suggestions on how to further investigate this issue in order to find the root cause would be greatly appreciated?
    Cheers

    Hi,
    I understand that the reusable workflow doesn’t work properly now. Have you tried to remove the Update list item action to see whether the workflow can run without issue?
    If the workflow runs perfectly when the Update list item action is removed, then you need to check whether there are errors in the update action. Check whether the values have been changed.

  • The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information using Update Item action

       I got error  "The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information "I  found out the cause is  Update Item action
    I need to update item in another List call Customer Report ,the field call "Issues"  with data type  "Choice"   to yes
    then the error arise .   please help..

    Thanks for the quick response Nikhil.
    Our SPF 2010 server is relatively small to many setups I am sure. The list with the issue only has 4456 items and there are a few associated lists, eg lookups, Tasks, etc see below for count.
    Site Lists
    Engagements = 4456 (Errors on this list, primary list for activity)
    Tasks = 7711  (All workflow tasks from all site lists)
    Clients = 4396  (Lookup from Engagements, Tslips, etc)
    Workflow History = 584930 (I periodically run a cleanup on this and try to keep it under 400k)
    Tslips = 3522 (Engagements list can create items here, but overall not much interaction between lists)
    A few other lists that are used by workflows to lookup associations that are fairly static and under 50 items, eg "Parters Admin" used to lookup a partners executive admin to assign a task.

  • Applying different template to the same item for different organizations

    Hi I'm having an issue with an item load.
    We are trying to load a list of items using the item import.
    3 orgs
    1: mas
    2: first
    3: second
    say in the new list that we are importing there is an item "100A" (mtl_system_items_b.segment1)
    This item already exists in the mtl_system_items_b as a master item (ie assigned to the master org) it has template "STOCK ITEM"
    and is also attached to the first org
    I want to create the same item as a nonstock for the Second org
    Can this be done?
    When i tried to do the import it failed giving me a INV_IOI_MASTER_CHILD_1A error (Master - Child Conflict in one of these Attributes: Default Buyer(BUYER_ID), Accounting Rule(ACCOUNTING_RULE_ID), Invoicing Rule(INVOICING_RULE_ID), Purchased(PURCHASING_ITEM_FLAG), Shippable(SHIPPABLE_ITEM_FLAG), Customer Ordered(CUSTOMER_ORDER_FLAG), Internal Ordered(INTERNAL_ORDER_FLAG), Inventory Item(INVENTORY_ITEM_FLAG))
    Any ideas on how to do this?
    Thanks
    D

    Hi Sandeep
    Thanks a lot for the reply
    In our MASter org setup, the Template "T1" is a STOCK_ITEM template and it has the stockable attribute set at the org level.
    This item is also assigned to ORG1 as a T1 STOCK_ITEM.
    So can we create the same item using "T2 which is a NON_STOCK Template in org2 ?
    If yes then that means I just have to create a record in the MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE only for the child org2.My concern is I read somewhere that
    the item import tries to match the attributes of the child org to the master org attribute(for attributes controlled at master org i think).
    And since the attributes for a nonstock are different than those for a STOCK wouldn't that create a problem?
    Thanks

  • Merge of two same items with different Qty in po

    Hi Experts,
    Is it possible to merge two Same items with different Quantity into 1.
    For Eg:- 2 similar  items  with qty 2 & 3 must show 5 qty appearing once.Is it possible through Transnotification what should be the query.
    Mona

    Hi Mona,
    If you want to display a Purchase Order on screen summarized by item, set the "Summary Type"  to "By Item" (by default it is "No Summary"). The PO lines will then be summarized by item with total quantity for each item.
    If you want to display it on the printout then you need to modify the PLD. It is quite easy actually. You can use the Repetitive Area Footer to display the summary of each item and set all fields in the Repetitive Area to be not visible and set the height to minimum height.

  • Different measures use same source column but gives different values in SSAS project

    I've inherited a SSAS project. I'm currentlig gaining knowledge, but do not understand this: There are 4 measures that get data from same source table and column. Example measures:
    [Started]
    [Processing]
    [Processed]
    [Finished]
    All of them gets data from a table (view), and a column "Event_count" with just value 0 in each row. Usage of the measure is "Count of non-empty values".
    Correctly all of these measures gives different values, but I don't understand how since they all go against the same source column. I thougt maybe they were defined in Calculated measures, but nothing there. Where or what else could be affecting this behavior?
    Bonus information (problem): One of the measures is returning blank/empty, which is why started with this research at all.
    Help anyone?
    regards .r

    Hi ,
    I would ask if all the measures are under the same measure group ? It is important to know, since in the dimension usage we are creating relationships between dimensions and measure
    groups .
    Did you try the delete all the calculation's code and leave only the " CALCULATE ; " part ? Do the values change after deploying the slim script ?
    Are all properties the same ? defaults & caching ?
    Regards, David .

  • Create wip jobs for same item with different routings.

    My scenario is , i am having 2 production lines for the same End item. If both lines are available to use, then WIP jobs have to be created for both lines. If either one is available then WIP job has to be created only for that line. Please suggest the setups for this. This way i can increase the production rate.

    HI Jey-2013,
    In your organization, you first need to define Bills and Routings for the item/items.  Now to use two routings for 1 item, you need to define Alternate Routing.
    For that go to BOM>Setup> Alternates and create an Alternate name for the second routing.
    Then Go again to BOM>routing and use the Alternate name for the item to create a different Routing. After that you will have two different routings for same item.
    Whenever you create a job in WIP, you will have an option to choose either the default or the original routing. This way you can accomplish your goal of using different routings as and when required. Hope this helps you. Kindly let me know

  • How to publish an Admin-Approved InfoPath template to 2 different site collections, and retain same internal column names

    Hi,
    I am wondering how best to publish an InfoPath form as an Admin-Approved template, to both Site Collection 1 (SC1) and Site Collection 2 (SC2). Some fields are promoted to SharePoint columns.
    I have already published my form to SC1, by choosing Publish to SharePoint Server > chose SC1 > Admin-approved > chose to publish to columns I had created manually on SC1 (these columns had relatively user-friendly internal names such
    as 'Form_x0020_Status' etc, which I reference in xsl + code). I then uploaded the template in Central Admin as Admin-Approved, and activated the feature on SC1. This all worked fine.
    However, if I then go to activate the feature on SC2, it creates columns with different internal names (GUIDs), which means my xsl + code won't work. If I try creating columns manually on SC2 before publishing, it still creates new GUID columns.
    This of course must be because on feature activation on SC2, it cannot find the exact columns specified in the template (which was published to SC1), so it creates new ones.
    In that case, what is the best way to publish an Admin-Approved template to 2 different site collections? One option is to create the columns using code, and deploy them to both sites as a feature, ensuring all IDs are the same. But should this be necessary, is
    there any option available using only InfoPath and SharePoint?
    Thanks for reading.
