Same Java classpath for any schema?

Hello,
I want to call a static Java method from PL/SQL, and my question is do all schema's on the database share the same Java classpath? The static Java class will read a config file on the classpath, and I want to know if all schema's that call this method will read the same config file (I would prefer if not).

Yes, I agree with whatever you say. But there are associated problems by we ourselves enquiring the parser to return the NodeList using XPath.
For example, let the input XSD file contain an xsd:include statement, which includes another XSD file. Then when I say:
document.getElementsByTagName("xsd:complexType");only the list of nodes available in that particular XSD file are obtained, but none from the included file appear. This is the disadvantage of using custom (XPath) queries.
Rather if there is an implementation supporting Schema Object Model specification, it would be easy to overcome such difficulties. I'm able to successfully use MSXML's SDK for SOM and am able to obtain all the included xsd:complexType elements as well.

Please help me in setting up Java classpath for Tomcat Server. I am unable to start the Server itself.

try this it worked for me..install Tomcat and Ant in 2 seperate directories, if you are win98 or less edit your autoexec.bat file and set the class paths as follows
set PATH=C:\jdk1.3\bin;%PATH%
set ANT_HOME=C:\Ant
set TOMCAT_HOME=C:\Tomcat
set JAVA_HOME=C:\jdk1.3
If you are using windows 2000 or NT you have to goto control panel --> system --> advanced and click environment variables
for name type in say TOMCAT_HOME and for value type in c:\Tomcat
restart your computer.
Then goto tomcat\bin and type startup....in a browser type in http://localhost:8080 and you are in

Are there any tools out there that can convert my java class to xml schema. How such tools take care of java collections like HashTable, ArrayList etc. in my class structure. I am not interested in writing any configuration files(like jaxb configuration files, jibx binding xml files etc.) for serving this purpose and the can be able to give me xml schema from the java classes. Please suggest ...
I am not sure even JAXB 2.0 allows me to do this without writing any jaxb configuration files or annotations in my java class which is not there in JDK 1.4.2

You can convert the EDI file to XML in any of the ways
1) Using third party seeburger adapters
2) Conversion agent
3) Stylus studio.
I think using java code it will be very difficult.

hi over-critical java tech man/woman. i have this class library for org.apache.poi.* .. which i will be using to manipulate .xls and .doc type files. i need help installing it. i havnt tried any command-line stuff yet, which im sure is the right way to go. ive been dragging and dropping into the src.zip file .. which could be harmful .. yes? oh boy im in for some scrazy responses

I looked through the .jar file I was using and it contained all the necessary classes I needed to compile my java file. In my java file, I have included the line:
import org.apache.poi.*;
as a package to try and obtain all the necessary classes needed to compile my file.
In the jar file the folders are ordered in that exact order:
org/apache/poi/'all class folders here'.
when I type the following into the command prompt and press enter:

But I'm confused, because I'm following the steps found on a 'java classpath website'. I guess I'll keep trying, but I'm exhausted from doing the same thing over and over again.

SunOS 5.10 spawns multiple PID's for same java process

On SunOS 5.10 I see same java process having multiple PID's. ps -ef lists out the same java process running from same path with multiple PID's. What can be the reason for this?
Please let me know if you need some more information.....

Again this seems to be a known issue on SunOS 10.Also I will try to take the stack strace for the specific java process.

Basically the issue seems to be with one of the fork system calls which confuses with active and actual threads running.The above link speaks about the same , faced by similar users.
Any updates will be appreciated.Meanwhile will try to get the stack trace.

Results showing the same output for any query execution

Whenever user selects query in RSRT --> and click on java view it is prompting for user ID and password. After giving the login credentials, the out put remains the same for any query query as input. Please let me know how can we fix this? THis is occuring for only one user. Even I tried copying the user to a new user. THe new user is not facing this problem.

try clearing the portal cache then try it. ask somebody else to log in and try it, could be authorization.

SSL: How to use the same key pair for ABAP & JAVA?

I want to setup an XI (3.0 on Netweaver04)installation in the way, that ABAP AS and JAVA AS use the same key pair for SSL. My problem is to define the same private key on ABAP and JAVA. With the JAVA Administrator I am able to define or import a private key. But I could not find a possibility in ABAP to manage private keys in order to use the same on as in JAVA. What is the procedure for this?

I couldn't download any app into my iPAD. Puzzled by this strange condition, I tried downloading the same chosen app into my iPhone. It worked!
I use the same Apple ID for both my iPAD and iPhone. So why is it not working for my iPad? Previously, both devices were working fine!
I hope that somebody can help me solve this problem.

Do the apps show as installed on the Purchased tab in the App Store app ? If they show as installed, then have you got any restrictions set on Settings > General > Restrictions (e.g. Allowed Content > Apps) that might be hiding them ?
You could try closing the App Store app completely and then seeing if it downloads after you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e.not with the App Store app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
You could also try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
And try logging out, and then back in, with your iTunes account : Settings > Store

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

this one is actually a really rare symptom of a flaky connection to the ipod on a Windows PC. there's more going on in terms of hardware on nanos and 5th gens than in the earlier models ... so if the connection is flaky to precisely the right/wrong degree, itunes will see the ipod, but misidentify it as an earlier version of ipod.
tracking down the cause of the flakiness can be tricky ... as you already know ...
just checking. have you tried connecting with a different (known-good) USB cable? does that seem to have any impact on the rate of occurence of the problem?
