Sun specifies the formats that (for technical or "legal" reasons) JMF 2.1.1 can handle:

I was able to install and (apparently) run just fine by the JMF by
~
1) using Sun's jdk (instead of the Debian copy I had)
~
2) copying jmf.jar, mediaplayer.jar and multiplayer.jar to:

$JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext
~
Using JMStudio, I can now watch mp3 and what seems to be MPEG-1 media I downloaded form:

but MPEG-2 files from there seem to be corrupted. JMStudio shows me something but not a proper movie for example in both these cases:

which I can see using mplayer without a problem

I know media files standardization seems to be worse than browsers'

Using JMF/Java, Linux ffmpeg's library or whatever; how could you probe those files' headers or metadata in order to see what they actually are and/or how they could be played?

where are the sample files for Dreamweaver cs 5.5 on Adobe TV? video says there there, but there not! Video even shows where to find them, but there still not there! Were they just to big for Adobes servers to handle so the had to take them down to make space? : ) Please help, could really use them. Thanks! : )

I read somewhere that master collection cs5 includes sample files/media etc for encore but i cannot find them
on my cs5 install disk set

This question is very old but when you look for this in Google this is the first page that comes up.
To make your own uploadable table in Excel you need to follow this structure:
Required means that you must fill that field and Empty means that should leave it blank.
The length describes the length of the field. It's very important the length of the field because if you don't use that length then it won't work the upload.
1 Data Class (Fixed value '01') - Length 2 - Required
2 Key 1 FROM currency - Length 20 - Required
3 Key 2 TO currency - Length 20 - Required
4 Category Interest type - Length 15 - Required
5 Date Calculation Date (Format DDMMYYYY) - Length 8 - Required
6 Time Calculation Time (Format HHMMSS) - Length 6 - Empty
7 Value Value of Data - Length 20 - Required (Use dot for decimals not commas)
8 Currency Not applicable - Length 20 - Empty
9 FROM Ratio Translation Ratio from - Length 7 - Required
10 TO Ratio Translation Ratio to - Length 7 - Required
11 Other Not applicable - Length 5 - Empty
12 Status Error status (values 50..99) - Length 2 - Empty
13 Error message Error message - Length 80 - Empty
In excel you can define the column width with right click in the column. Doing that define every column with the previous length exposed. Fill the required fields.
You should use define every field in "Text" format because numbers like the first one: 01, must be 01 and it won't work with just 1. The same with date, if you have a date like 5012015 it won't work and has to be 8 digits like 05012015 (05.01.2015)
After you define every column width and define the required fields. Remember to delete the headers if you used them.
Save the file as .XLS because if you save it instead as .prn you won't be able to use it again. Finally save the file as .prn (Formated Text Space Delimited) and upload TBDM. Every time you need to upload again open the XLS file, put your data and save as .prn
And that's it

Hello,The parameter file itself is generated from cmd line using infacmd command and it automatically creates the parameters inside it based on the parameters created inside the mapping and the workflow. So, even if one provides you a paramtere file for IDQ, it might fail as your workflow definition and its paramters would be different. Thanks,K

Hi all My project migrated from Power Center to IDQ developer and I had to move all my mappings to IDQ developer. I was able to migrate everything except for the parameter files. It seems that the layout and syntax for parameter file is different from Power Center. Is there anyone who can help me out or send me a sample of a parameter file for IDQ? AIT Files for various Xlets

Hello,
I developed an application launcher, and now, I need upload to STB various xlets. I've been using the library xlet_stb_devel for upload the xlets via RS-232, this library, copy in the STB the classes files and upload the AIT file to /xlets. The STB load the AIT from xlets, but in this form, I only can load one application and I need upload two or more, How can I upload many AIT files and make the STB read it?
My STB is a Strong 5510

Hi, I have an issue where trying to view large Crystal Reports files causes the Web Viewer to crash. Does anyone know where I can find a sample Crystal Reports file larger than 20MB that I can use to recreate this problem? Thanks.

hi Shannon,
you can quickly create a large report file size by putting a bunch of large images (using Insert > Picture) in the details section of a report that contains several thousand records.

R12 E-Commerce Gateway. POO and POI sample files?

Can anybody put here sample files for POO (ORDERS 850) and POI (ORDERS 850)? Just wanna see them. I exported POO file according to the standard settings for file, but I can't to import it (according to the standard settings for file). And this is a little bit strange for me. May be I didn't understand something.

You can use apps.ece_utilities.verify_flatfile to check on how the application reads the file according to the defined layout and see whan might not be falling on the expected positions.

Missing Oracle Reports tutorial sample files

The Oracle reports tutorial version 10.1.2, which I just downloaded along with Oracle reports, specifies where the sample files can be found in the prerequisites section. It says,
You can download these files from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Oracle Reports 10g page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/reports/index.html): click Getting Started with Oracle Reports. Navigate to the index, then click Examples. On the Examples page, you will see a link to Oracle Reports Tutorial.
There is no "Getting Started with Oracle Reports" on that web page. I've looked around for the sample files for this turorial and I can't find them. Does anyone know where they are located?
