SAP DMS - Unable to check in the document

Hi All,
I am using SAP ECC 6.0 and working with SAP DMS.
When I am creating a D I R, I am not able to check in the document into content repository.
Following error flashes as soon as I try to save the D I R :
"Error while checking in and storing: D:\Documents and Settings\......\......"
The error massege number is 26 253.
I have searched for the related notes on service.sap.com. However all the related notes are relevant for the SAP 4.6 B to ECC 5.00.
Please help me in fixing the said issue

Hi Rahul,
How you are trying to check-in the docuement?
Suggestion:
1) Which version of ACAD you are using and Which version of ACAD Integration you are using.
If you are using ACAD integration version 4.0.0.0 then please upgrade to ACAD integration version 4.5.0.0. Whichi is available in SAP Market Place.
2) In your configuration, are you trying to create JPG Conversion? if so then please remove the trigger CreateAutoNeutralFile from the config.
Create a new drawing and test the check-in functionality and let me know the result.

    1. Open this location- C:\Program
    Files\Microsoft Web Designer Tools\Office12\1033\IPEDINTL.DLL
    2. copy IPEDINTL.DLL
    3. paste it here- C:\Program Files\Microsoft
    Office\Office12\1033\IPEDINTL.DLL
    4. Close all the applications that are presently
    open as well as all the browsers
    5. Open the sharepoint site in a new browser
    and check the results !!

    Vendors Unable to Check-In Contract Documents (e-Sourcing 5.1 Patch 06)
    When moving to patch 06 for e-Sourcing we found that Vendors were no longer able to check-in contract documents, even though they checked them out successfully.
    On Patch 05 this was not an issue with the exact same configuration.
    Has anyone had any encounters with this? 
    - Is there a permission that needs to be set to something specific?   I tried create/read/edit but that doesn't seem to work.

    When working with a Master Agreement or Sub Agreement within e-Sourcing you can attach Contract Documents (Word files) that you and the vendor can collaboratively work on. 
    Just like a source control system you can check out a document to make edits to ensure that no one else makes edits at the same time.  You then must check back in the document to remove the 'lock'. 
    On patch level 06 we found that although Vendors could perform the Check-out procedure (On a Contract Document click Actions -> Check-Out) they are not permitted to then check-in the document (Actions -> Check-In).
    Buyside users do not experience any issues with check-out/in.
    Hope that helps clear up the issue.

    If you have taken a dump from somewhere and setting it up on ur local, you should cleanup the database a bit before actually deploying any project.
    I would suggest you rollback any of your current projects and run the following scripts to remove any staled/existing projects in CA.

    DELETE FROM EPUB_DEP_LOG;
    DELETE FROM epub_file_asset;
    DELETE FROM avm_asset_lock;
    DELETE FROM dss_server_id;
    DELETE FROM dsi_server_id;
    commit;
    Now start your server again and check the deployment.
    Hopefully it should work!

    I am facing an error while checking in the document in transaction CV01N / CV02N.
    The error is as below:
    RFC to program SAPFTP failed
    Message no. 04205
    I have searched the forum, but could not get a right one.
    While searching I found in some of the discussions that in SM59 there should 2 connections SAPFTP and SAPFTPA, which are auto generated. I could not find these 2 connections in my system. is this the problem? If so how to maintain the same?

    First u check that ur RFC is enabled in ur system secondly if u r using FTP for Document storage then u need to check the storage type and established the FTP. for this take the help of an BAsis person.

  • How to avoid lo-gin prompt while check in the document and saving doc while opening the document?

    I might be missing something to configure or verify but many times I have faced below situation :
    When I click on document in document library either its just opens or first save to disc and open.
    When I check in a document , its asking for credentials but sometimes doesn't
    Can anyone please describe the reason behind above behaviors ? how to avoid saving doc while opening and lo-gin prompt while check in the document?

  • DMS- How to know that the documents are attached??

    Hello Guys,
    This is pertaining to DMS,
    We attach documents and link it to various object links.
    Later when we get into that transaction we retrive the attached documents.
    Suppose i attached the DIR to MARA (in object links) , and until i forcely go to document data in T code MM02   i cant know that documents are attached.....??
    My question is how any one will know that the documents are linked thru DMS to Various object links in those transactions.
    Is my question is valid......just put your comments...

    But i think i should be still precise little bit more....
    Just consider a situation where u have 2 users ....A & B,both are in different location.just imagine user B dont have any contact to(from) User A
    User A: creates the various document info record and attach to Material master .
    User B  is working in another plant . How user B will know that to this material documents are attached,
    He(USER B) should have already got the information that documents are attached  else he should go and check document data Tab forcing himself......
    I felt that every time user has to check as a practice if any documents are attached thru Tab EXTRA'S but this may be critical...not every one will do that....some time u may forget to check the presence.
    Is my question valid......??!?!?

    I am a workspace coordinator/owner. I uploaded a document to my workspace. I have no ability to check-out/in the document. The menu options are grayed out.

    The information posted in this thread has been helpful. My original question has been answered and I now have a deeper understanding of how this functionality works.
    I'm not sure if you are interested in general feedback, but if you are: I like that the web-edit automatically checks the document out for you. I also like that when you upload a document of the same name, it automatically updates and versions the document. The functionality is very smart in these ways. As a user who has used different enterprise collaboration software in the past, it was almost confusing to use. I was expecting to manually save, check-out, modify the changes offline, then check-in my changes. Following this approach, I was also expecting that when I did a manual check-in, the system would prompt me to upload the new file. Overall, I really like the versioning/editing features in the workspace. Web-edit is nicely integrated and automatic. Coming from past systems where web-edit has not been as reliable and the overall editing process has been more manual, this is user-friendly. It can be a little confusing, though, at first if you are used to doing this differently.

    I  just downloaded Digital Editions so I can read proceedings from a conference. I followed the instructions but cannot add the

    add already exists in the library" There is nothing in the library, can't add the "Getting started" . e-book - same message. I did

    I am unable to post the document using BAPI "BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE", getting error "_Sales order stock --- does not exist_"
    details are stated below:
    GM_CODE : 04, it is working fine for the scenario with same saleorder number and line item, but when i give same sale order number and different line item, then i am getting the above error.
    Example : Posting from Saleorder A with line item 100 to saleorder A with lineitem 100 its working fine, but when we are posting
                    from Saleorder A with lineitem 100 to saleorder A with line item 200 it is not working.
    Also When I trying to do with the transaction MB1B manually, it is working fine. kindly suggest me.

  • Sap B1WS - Unable to authenticate on the license server!

    Hello,
    I've installed and configured b1ws according to the help file provided.
    after creating a virtual directory in the IIS to the sample directory provided with the installation I receive the B1 Webservices login page but cannot login with the usual settings .
    here is the settings I've used :
    database server
    localhost
    dbtype sql 2005
    dbname :mysqldbname
    company user and password  : a valid username and password with a pro user license.
    license server :localhost also tried localhost:30000
    language :In_English
    I keep getting the Unable to authenticate on the license server!
    error.
    I also tried adding the ASP.NET account to the ms-sql databases with not change.
    anyhelp would be much appreciate.

  • Process Email Attachment in Bpel and then Check-In the Document to WCC

    Hello Techies,
    I am new to Soa Application and  Bpel. I am creating a Soa Composite application(using Jdev 11.1.1.6)  which will poll for incoming Email.
    This polling is done using the UMS adapter which is working fine for me. Then i have to process the Attachment and call a service to Check-In this Attachment(a pdf File) to UCM.I have Configured the WebService activity also and included the CheckIn Wsdl to perform CheckIn operation.
    The problem lies in processing the attachment by creating a BPEL process  and then passing this attachment to Primary File parameter  of CheckIn Service.
    How can I map this Attachment to primaryFile parameter of the CheckIn service ? (I am hard coding other parameters of ChecKin Service)
    Please Help.

    Currently I dont think there is a direct way that BPEL can consume and read the contents of a XL File.
    As per current version of Oracle SOA Suite (11.1.1.6.3),
    The Oracle File and FTP Adapters can read and write the following file formats and use the adapter translator component at both design time and run time:
    •XML (both XSD- and DTD-based)
    •Delimited
    •Fixed positional
    •Binary data
    •COBOL Copybook data
    The Oracle File and FTP Adapters can also treat file contents as an opaque object and pass the contents in their original format (without performing translation). The opaque option handles binary data such as JPGs and GIFs, whose structure cannot be captured in an XSD or data you do not want to have translated.

    I specified (I did check this carefully); think it might only apply to SharePoint 2010 – perhaps the shell syntax is different in 2013.

    According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when opening a document from SharePoint.
    Is this document information panel customized?
    I recommend to re-edit the document information panel template to see if the issue still occurs.
    Please go to the Library setting > click the corresponding content type(need to enable managed of content types in Advanced settings) > click Document Information Panel settings.
    If the issue still occurs, please check if the command below can help(change the site URL and the library name in the code):
