SAP Fiori like custome application on CRM

Hello,
I am setting up an enviroment to develop SAPUI5 application on CRM using Netweaver Gateway.
I tried searchning system requirenment to build this app. Can anyone send me any pointer link where I will get a complete information on what all basis activities do I need to perform in order to connect CRM server to Gateway server.
The CRM server is :
SAP_BASIS 740 0003 SAPKB74003 SAP Basis Component
I have Gateway 2.0.
Please suggest.

You are going to develop custom sapui5 apps. In that case, you just need to connect Gateway to CRM.
Please look at the Gateway configuration guide.

We have made changes as per note 1017761 to get a custom application working ...
In the attached file I have made a summary of the errors related to
the "sap.com/home~syn_crm" application.
Overall we have 3 missing references to classes or classes definition
- we have to check again the project and what jars are added to the

And one JNDI error, for making a lookup by name: "SAP/CRM/b2b".
All those errors I think are caused by wrong project construction, that is:

SAP-SHRWEB and custom application

Hi,
I have been going through the Development and Extension guide and everything looks logical.
However it looks to me that if you want to change a jsp file ( for instance the landing page) you will have to change it in the standard SAP-SHRWEB (Figure 23: Merged Web files - page 145) component as this component is used by the customized Enterprise application.
Is this correct? How would you handle a upgrade ot patch to this component from SAP then?

That's correct Rodney,
There are two ways, one to create the Z of that jsp or change the original jsp but while patching/upgrade you have to take the conflicts report and manauly merge these files in NWDS.

Fiori Like Custom Launchpad - Two/Three levels of tiles

Hi All ,
We are trying to expose our developed custom UI5 applications to the end user in a Custom Launchpad similar to the standard one .
We are trying to have two or three levels of tiles where there will be 4 tiles on the first level . Clicking on a tile in level 1 will bring up 4 tiles in level 2 and clicking on any of these Level 2 tiles will bring up 3 more tiles in level 3 .
Can someone guide me as to how to achieve this . I have already created catalogs with tiles . I have also created groups and assigned tiles to groups as well. All this works fine . What I cannot figure out is how to create the 3 level hierarchy . I believe there should be something like a group inside a group / catalog inside a catalog but cannot figure out how to achieve this .

Use of uiext.Inbox control in a Fiori-like application

Hi all,
I'm investigating Fiori-like custom application development, underlying platform is HCP.
I need to provide an inbox for BPM tasks and the uiext.Inbox control look pretty cool to me.
However, I understand it does not belong to the sap.m package where Fiori controls belong.
Thus, I expect interoperability problems when embedding the uiext.Inbox in a Fiori-like application.
So I'd be grateful if anyone could clarify
can uiext.Inbox integrate in a Fiori-like app?
in case it can't, how could one implement a task inbox on Fiori-like applications?

You can use the # format specifier after the seconds to specify milliseconds.
For example, you might be using the format string "hh:nn:ss" to currently specify hour, minute, and second. You could add a "." and a "#" for every digit to the right of the decimal to specify milliseconds. For example, if you wanted to specify hour, minute, second, and 2 decimals for the milliseconds, the format string would be "hh:nn:ss.##".

Decimal Notation IDR Currency on SAP Fiori

Dear Expert,
I had trouble with decimal notation on SAP Fiori. While I look My Spend on SAP Fiori, amount is different in ECC SAP with decimal notation.
In SAP Fiori : 98.130 IDR
In ECC SAP : 9.813.000 IDR
That's different on SAP Fiori and ECC SAP. I want amount in my Spend on SAP Fiori same with Amount in ECC SAP. I think SAP Fiori still pick the table (WRBTR) before calculate *100 with currency IDR, because ECC SAP automatic calculate *100 when IDR Currency.
( I think SAP Fiori like this piture, because it pick WRBTR table, and i want SAP Fiori pick Table in G/L Amount on ECC SAP)

If I change decimal place of currency code IDR on OY04, it will change value on ECC SAP. It's mean like on SAP Fiori and ECC SAP same 98.130 but it's wrong. I want in SAP Fiori same with amount on ECC SAP, IDR 9.8130.000. I think SAP Fiori still pick the table before calculate *100. How to solve it?

The CRM version in our landscape is : CRM 7.0 EHP3
But we have installed below versions in Fiori.
UIX02CRM (release 100) SP3.
GBX02CRM SP3
Please suggest whether we need to uninstall them and install new versions(CRM001-CRM 7.0 EhP3 SPS07).
Also system does not allow to uninstall existing components. Please advice on this.

Identify price [Derive dynamic pricing] related fields within sales quote output form in SAP cloud for customer CRM application

We have designed a Sales Quote Output Form using ADLC for SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C). We need to print both header and item level price details like Unit Price, Tax%, Tax Amount, Discount %, Discount value on the output form. We are now struggling to find the actual fields which will carry these values in the transaction. We are using multiple pricing procedures which have different condition types. The struggle is to find the actual condition type while generating the output. Can somebody guide which fields could carry these values which condition type. Can this be achieved without coding. Please guide.

I am not sure I understand your question. What I think you are asking is in your data binding where is the data for fields in question. That is something you will need to get from whoever defined the data. The connection simply binds the data to your form but determining which field carries that data is not something this group would be able to help with. I would go back to your DBA and ask for a schema or DB reference to show which bindings will carry that data. Does that help?

How to add two services in a single application in SAP FIORI

            I am working on SAP FIORI and created a starter application project using oData services. Initially i am adding one service from catalog and i want that service details ie., Business Partners to be displayed in my master view. Till this I am able to see the data in my master view.
        Now i would like to add one more service with which i should be able to see the item details of each and every BP.
But i dont know where to add this second service and how..?

         My problem is fixed, they are calcualted if you have a child nodes. How means Revenue is positive and Expenses are negative. So we get difference of this two.

SAP Cloud for Customer & SAP ECC/CRM OnPremise integration using WebServices!

I would like to ask if anyone has really created a working integration scenario between a Cloud Solution & an ECC/CRM OnPremise solution?
We are trying to build some prototypes for this, however, due to connectivity errors/issues, unable to proceed.
I'm looking for information on:
> What certificates precisely are needed on both Cloud & OnPrem systems?
> What configuration if any is required on Cloud & OnPrem solution, except for communication system/arrangements on Cloud solution?
> Any use case if available from anyone which can demo integration between Cloud solution & ECC/CRM OnPremise solution.

Just to give you our background...we are SAP Cloud Partners & VARs, hence we are building few prototypes for Customer Demos & POC.
Per my understanding, its just one of the OnPrem system, either an ECC OnPrem or CRM OnPrem that you can integrate with one C4C tenant at a time, i.e. to one single tenant. In our case, we are trying to integrate ECC OnPrem with C4C system.
We are in the process of deploying SAP PI as the middleware platform for integration between C4C & ECC/CRM OnPrem., which is going to take few more weeks.
SAP HCI will be the other approach, but we are currently not familiar with that, hence we have a trial to start in coming week for SAP HCI, so this is going to take some time as well.
Hence, WebService is the only currently available option for us to build these prototypes, POC for Customer Demos, to show working integration scenarios between ECC OnPrem & C4C system.
We have been facing some technical issues after setting up necessary communication systems/arrangements on C4C system & trying to do a WS call from SDK also we get error when we do a ping test from within C4C system to check connection.
Has SAP developed any WS integration between C4C & either of the ECC or CRM OnPrem system? Or is it just PI & HCI which SAP has for integration?
I'd truly appreciate if you can guide us on creating few integration scenarios (Working ones of course ) using Webservice between C4C & ECC OnPrem system.

Can you pls. share how to download the SAP FIORI - Shopping cart app (approval & my Shopping cart) then how to proceed with installing the app in ABAP app server & NW Gateway service.

SAP Fiori for CRM 7.0/CRM 7.02

Hi All,
We are planning to use SAP Fiori and Gateway as a Standalone Server and with CRM 7.0 and CRM 702 which is running since 3 years.
In the first box we will install Latest Netweaver with Addon of SAP Gateway, but we are confused with the Fiori part.
Question: Is Fiori supported by CRM 7.0 and CRM 7.0 EHP2?
2. Is there any backend component which has to be installed on CRM Server?
I have gone through the scn documents and still not clear.
Can anyone help me in clarifying my doubts?

I recently installed Fiori for SAP ERP and from that I can confirm that Fiori contains two parts:
one backend part and one frontend part.
According to note1931218 - General Information: Fiori for CRM you need EHP3 for CRM 7.0 (SP-stack 04 to use latest SP (SP02) for Fiori).
You can also find some release information in the following note:
1959305 - Release Information Note: SAP Fiori transactional apps for SAP CRM 1.0
If you go to http://service.sap.com/swdc choose "Browse our Download Catalog", you can choose "SAP Fiori" and then "SAP Fiori for Suite" in the main area of the browser.
the backend part is the one called "FIORI CRM APPLICATIONS X2".
the frontend part is called "UI FOR SAP CRM ENHANCE PACKAGE".
That's about all I know about the Fiori for CRM and I'll hope you can continue from here.
