e need some changes to be done in SAP in Domestic and Imported Purchase orders, they are as follows:-
1.                   Increase decimal places to 3 for Domestic as well as for imported Purchase Orders,
2.                   When we add Excise duty or custom duty or if we give discount it add or less into the basic rate of material, it should be shown separately and should not deduct or add in Basic Rate of Material. Also when we print Purchase Order it should display the same details of Print. Eg.
Basic Rate                                     :-
Excise Duty                                    : - (% age wise or Value) if there
Custom Duty                                   : - (% age wise or Value) if there
Packing and Forwarding Charges      :- (% age wise or Value) if there
CST or VAT                                     :- (% age wise or Value) if there
Discount                                         :- (% age wise or Value) if there
3.                   Custom Duty should be added in condition type

Issue with creation of custom layouts using SAP Help Documentation

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to create a home custom page layout (using web dynpro) in Composite Environment. The default options available in CE are not useful for me. I have followed the instructions and followed all the steps, yet I fail to see the application in CE. The custom page layout is not displayed neither in options and is not available any where.
Please let me know if anybody followed these steps and have got any success.

Usage of CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN SAP Help Link and Suggestions Required

This is regarding CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN fm
Currently we are using function module crm_order_maintain outside Loop i.e calling once for all the contracts as sap crm performance standard ,
Is there any standard documentation where we can find that states CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN should be only used outside loop,
As some are telling us to use in Loop Endloop because of timeout error in background job with contract having 180 line items,Which i feel that this create unneccessary load on execution (Not Recommendable)
Please share any comments and suggestion this and also provide me the SAP Help Link on this

for example to you, look for FM CRM_LRP_APPOINTMENTS_GET_DIAG which using CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN and parameter it_appointment.

How to download sap help 6.0

hello
i didn't install sap on my pc . i want sap help , i cant accessed sap's site ( marketplace or ect )
how can i download it , is it possible to download from net so how and which site ? is it possible from sap.help ? how?

Unlike earlie version of SAP i.e 4.7 or so , document were available in PDF format which one could download and save it on the local hard disk .
Well as of 6.0 Help documentation is converted to HTML i.e have an internet connection and serf the website help.sap.com .
Help documents are generally treated as products and you can find that from the customers or education partners .
Directly for Help.sap.com you wont be able to download the library of ECC 6.0 onwards .

I donot agree with point 4 enteries & point 5 enteries.
As in my opinion it should be

it is possible, first what material type is using whether moving price or standard price.
if you r creating a po with 150 Rs.
entries : COGS A/c Dr 150
               Gr/Ir A/c Cr         150
if po is amendent for 160 Rs.
entries:
COGS A/c Dr   160
Gr/Ir A/c Cr           150
Price difference A/c Cr 10
pls check ur G.L A/c's for PRD A/c
in miro u can find in header level details tab in that u can mention the value with negative figure

SAP Help Tutorial - Create a Hashtable ??

I'm new so this will be simple - I think
I'm attempting to follow the tutorial on SAP HELP located at:

I got threw tutorial 1 with no problem...
When I get to the "Writing Code" section of Tutorial II, writing the mySiteMap.java code, I assume I'm suppose to use the code as written in the tutorial... however my IDE (NWDS) gives me :
Syntax error on token "Hashtable", "interface", "class" expected
on this block of code, (which I copied from the tutorial):

Put the "code" into a class and make sure there is an import statement for Hashtable.
For instance,

Iam really surprised by the way people post links to "sap help" when posting questions.
Is there an efficient and quick way to look the SAP-help when one is looking for special things.
I only got this far

Then SAP NetWeaver Library -clicked "Developers Guide"
everybody goes this far only ..... once you get on the above page you need to type in the words in the Search option so that you get to the related results.... it is on the Top-right portion of the page
In addition to normal search you can also opt for Advance Search option to filter your search area.
Please note that the search results will contain many additional (un-related) results, so you need to select the required one.

Printing SAP Help (using PDF or anything except HTML)

Printing the HTML version of SAP help is time-consuming and the pages don't come out correctly. There used to be .pdf versions of all of the help files at help.sap.com/docuprint, but that seems to have gone away. How can I print SAP help topics quickly and conveniently?

if you have access to SAP Service Marketplace, you can download the CD/DVD image of more or less all of the documentation CDs/DVDs. All these CDs contain the SAP Library in HTMLHelp format which offers a functionality to print all topics starting from the selected node in the structure tree.
Proceed as follows:
1. Goto http://service.sap.com/swdc
2. In the tree, choose "Search for all categories"
3. In the search field, enter the material number of the desired CD (this is the only reliable way to get the desired results; searching for a string contained in the material name yields unpredictable results!)
4. If the image exists, you will be presented a link for immediate download, or you can assign it to your download basket.

Urgent SAP Help menu not showing option "Create Support Message"

Hi all,
We are running SAP 4.6c landscape (dev,qa,prd), and have solution manager installed .
Now when i want to create a support messge from any system in my landscape i dont get the option "Create Support Message" in the SAP Help menu, and we create a support message using Help->Feedback option . Is this the correct was or is there any other settings or notes i need to make/apply on my landscape to get this option.

Thanks for your answers... But is it possible to call transaction NOTIF_CREATE from an external system?
I have done something already so that those 3 fields will be automatically populated for a message sent from an external system.
I changed the screen and called FM BAPI_NOTIFICATION_CREATE(a remote enabled FM which is the one being used by transaction NOTIF_CREATE to create a message) inside FM BCOS_SEND_MSG.
I populated the category, subject and solution in the FM export parameters as well as the solution number in the sap data table. I put a destination also..
This FM calls another FM DNO_OW_CREATE_NOTIFICATION which is the one being used from the external system but do not cater the functionality to send the 3 fields that we need.
As you will notice, there are lots of standard objects that I've changed. =)
My problem now is that the system data sent is the same with the system data if you create the message using NOTIF_CREATE. Some system that were sent when a message is sent from an external system is missing but at least the sap system and client ID is sent. There is no external reference number also. But hopefullly, the users will accept it. Can't find any other solution to this.

Why do you want to download the SAP help Files?
Do you want read them even when you are not online. If it is for the same purpose as i asked you then we have an exe file which installs all the SAP help file on your system and we can read the files offline too.
