SAP Inbox problem

Dear All.
I am trying to send document from my Business Workplace New Message to SAP Logon. The document is send successfully.
But when I try the same sending to my SAP logonname. I am getting following error Message
Cannot process message, no route from MCL-20025 to R3P:300:MCL-20025.
If I try the same thing with other user-id.. Its working fine even sending the mesage to self.

It seems to be role probelm, did you checked the relevent roles assigned for your user to recive the messages.

you give Recipient Type as position and Recipient of Notification must be position of the reciepient,

Problem to send a mail of notify to SAP Inbox instead Outlook Inbox

Hi all,
I have a customer that it's already done an upgrade to SAP_HR 4.7 and SAP_BASIS 6.20.
I haven't modify the old Workflow and I use the standard task to send the mail of notify in order to leave request.
I'm using the method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION of object SELFITEM with type address U and the mail address (external).
But the mails aren't sending to Outlook, they are sending to SAP Inbox.
So the employee see the mail into the ESS portal instead to see the mail in Outlook.
Could you suggest me if the problem is in the task of workflow, or in SCOT or in mail server, please?
Are there a new functionality in SAP in order to search the user linked with the mail address?

Displaying workitem/task execution online rather than in SAP inbox

Hi All,
I am using the workflow WS01000045 when implementing the ESS scenario - Employment and Salary Verification.
The user has the option of printing or faxing these details.
When the user clicks PRINT the step 81(Print Employment and Salary Verification,Task TS01000076) creates a workitem in the user's SAP inbox.The user can print the details by executing the workitem from the SAP inbox.My requirement is to actually execute the workitem online and show the print preview screen to the user instead of going to SAPinbox(logical because all the employees in a company can't have dialog access to SAP system).
We are on SAP 4.7(WAS 620) : SAP_BASIS SAPKB62059
SAP_HR SAPKE47055
EA-HR SAPKGPHA55
ESS is implemented on EP6.0
Pls advice how to avoid the SAP inbox.

Error when reading a pdf attachment file in sap inbox

Hi all,
I have created a RFC which sends mail from an external user to my sap inbox with attachment.
the problem is with the PDF attachment where when i received the mail in my sap inbox in sbwp, it says that there is an error that it wasnt correctly decode.
I used the class cl_document_bcs...
and used the method add_attachment...

The work item not coming in SAP inbox ....

Hi experts,
I am doing PR realese workflow.It is moved to quality server from development. In quality it is activated and showing no error.When a PR is created mail is send to approver and the workflow is waiting for his approval. But the work item is not available in his SAP inbox. Even he is getting the remainder mails.But the work item is not available in his business workplace(SBWP).I cross checked user ids of approvers. But still its not working ....the mails are sent to approvers external mail ID.....
Is there any configurations to make for making the SBWP active ?????
Pls anyone give me a solution for this problem...

Here my problem is in my internal table i have 30 columns and the row output length is more than 255 char,
and the SOLI structure fields defined as CHAR255, thats why when i am opening the sap mail attachment in Excel sheet, last three fields data is not displaying can any one please let me know the answer.

Open transaction when click in the link in sap inbox body text

Requirement :
Have to send mail through program (not workflow) and in the mail body one link should go to the sap inbox. when user click that link it should open the transaction with passing some values to the transaction.
Solution :
Can we use the java script in the mail sending FM body so that we can raise a event when clicking the link in sap inbox.
Please suggest some method to solve the problem.

Work item stucked on SAP inbox

Hi Gurus,
I have a problem on workflow items that are stucked on our approver's SAP inbox even after the PR or PO has already been approved/released. When I check the log, the status is still "In Process". This does not happen always and not for all our PR/PO docs.
Can you help/guide me on where to look for the root cause so i'll know where to correct.

how is the PR/PO done for these workitems that are stuck?
I mean was it sent to users SAP Inbox and he released it from his Inbox, or is it that though he got a workitem in his SAP Inbox, he released it thru ME54N/ME28N.
Because in the later case, you have to define your WF such that if user directly releases them from the T-codes, it should terminate that WF so that it deletes from users SAP Inbox.

PR Workflow delay in sending a notification to SAP inbox of approver

Hi All,
We are experiencing a problem in PROD regarding the time delay of workflow in sending the PR to the approver in his SAP inbox.
The current set-up is expected to be operating in runtime. However, we experience delays in the notification.
In runtime graphics, the workflow stays in the background activity. The workflow is expected to just swiftly run the background activity and move to the next activity.
May I know the steps on solving this error?

Workitem exists in SAP Inbox But does not appear in UWL for some users

I had experienced this type of problem as well, just to share it could be that the Identity of the Portal user misses a role which can be solved by any user assigning the identity in their identity management or it could also be the connection status of the UWL to the backend, there should be at least two connection statuses for workflow items to get into the UWL I could not recall it but I would post it here once I have the access to our system again.

MRP Exception report to send to SAP inbox

Hello friends,
The MRP exception report comes to my outlook and these reports are huge in size. I want them to go to my SAP inbox instead of outlook. I have changed the communication method of my user setting from "INT E-MAIL" to "E-Mail" but it didn't solve the problem.

The issue is, when the MRP exception reports are generated, the reports come to my outlook. I want these reports to go directly to my SAP inbox without any manual intervention and I also do not want them to come to my MS outlook.
This works for other users and after doing a comparision with their user setting, I changed my communication method to 'E-Mail' but this didn't help me.
I think I could make myself clear. Please help me out if you have the solution.
