I'm work in a proyect with a page web in html,in Sap netweaver developer studio(eclipse) and i like insert date in a database that it is on remot host. How I can to make?

of what?
of where is the database?, in case of the database is in the same web server then you can use the timestamp of the server in your sql Statement, or in the case if your Database server resides in another server then y suggest you the posibility to create an Java RMI class that lives on the database server and then call it.
(or a servlet if you wisht to use a web container).

Hello all,
I'd like to ask SAP/Oracle experts if there is any obstacle, why would not be able to move Oracle database of SAP J2EE Adapter Engine on other/different host after the installation.
As I describe int he thread [Installation of J2EE Adapter Engine with DB on different host|Installation of J2EE Adapter Engine with DB on different host;, the SAPINST program doesn't offer the possibility to install J2EE Adapter Engine with DB on other host than the central instance.
Only thing I'm not sure about is if this is done by any purpose for some database requirement, or it's simply not there.
SAP J2EE AE is normal JAVA AS with some more functionalities and is also installed within SAP PI/XI installation, which can run in "distributed model" system.
What do you think ?

Plugin Fails to install to remote host OEM 12c R2

I am trying to get a couple of plugins to deploy to some remote hosts, but they are failing. I did the initial agent install to the servers with no problems. Now I am trying to add the Oracle Database plugin, and the E-Business Suite Plugin now. I have successfully done this before on another OEM install. Here is the output log I see:

I have tried resynchronizing, stop/start agents, stop/start OEM, and went as far as rebooting the OEM server. I have not tried removing the host, and agent, then trying to reinstall it.

Connection to remote host in NWDS preferences (SAP Instance not reachable)

I am trying to connect to a SAP Web AS running CE 7.1 with Netweaver Developer Studio as described [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/46/9ca4cf4e8b0487e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm].
The u201Cinstance hostu201D is a remote host. When I try to connect with NWDS 7.1 SPS 5, I get the error message:
SAP Instance is currently not reachable. Check if the SAP Instance number is correct.
However, with NWDS 2004s SPS 13 (installed on the same machine) and message server port 3901, I can see the host in the J2EE view with two green dots (icm, server 0) and one grey dot (debugproxy). NWDS seems to connect (in spite of the grey dot).
Do I have to configure anything else in NWDS (message server port)? Does the debugproxy have to be started?

I had the same issue and resolved by adding:
(1) Windows server firewall exception to include "D:\usr\sap\CE1\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386\sapstartsrv.exe" EXE.
Basically, the windows server on which SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 was installed, by default, BLOCKS all relevant ports:
50000-50020 & 50100-50120. By add the above (a) rule, the serrver allows any incoming TCP connections used by "D:\usr\sap\CE1\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386\sapstartsrv.exe."

actually the problem is i am logging in a company system, which is using a GDNINDIA domain... the installation requires a local admin without any domain..

When I am installing the SAP SAP J2EE add-on for SAP NW XI installation I am getting the follwing error:
CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: Executable /oracle/XID/920_64/bin/sqlplus returns 127.. SOLUTION: See ora_sql_results.log and the Oracle documentation for details
Could some one help me to resolve this error and install the SAP J2EE add-on?

I had used evaluation copy of the SAP J2EE engine. This copy works for few days and now the SAP J2EE engine is stopped. After its expiration, we purchased the permanent license.
My question is: how to install license for the expired SAP J2EE engine so that the engine can be started without re-installation?

To install license of the J2EE Engine :
In the Visual Administrator -> Server 0 -> Services -> Licensing Adapter. Then choose tab page Runtime -> Installed Licenses and Install subsequent temporary license.

Open up your site definition (double-click on the site name in the File panel or choose Site > Manage Sites > Edit) and go to the Remote Info category. There, click Use Firewall (if it isn't already selected) - press Test to try the default firewall settings. If that doesn't work, click Firewall Settings. You'll see two relevant settings about 2/3 down - Firewall host and Firewall port. If Firewall port is 21, there probably is something blocking the port.
On Windows XP, you may have the Windows Firewall installed and blocking. Here's how you get to it:
To open Windows Firewall
1.
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
2.
In the control panel, click Windows Security Center.
3.
Click Windows Firewall.
Once you have that open, you'll need to set Dreamweaver as an exception to blocking:
On the Exceptions tab, click Add Program.
In the list of programs, click the name of the program (Dreamweaver) that you want to add, and then click OK. If the name of your program is not in the list of programs, click Browse to locate the Dreamweaver.exe in the Program Files folder and then click OK.

I was trying to install java components in ECC 5.0 IDES Server. it showing an error " This Installation requires an SAP J2EE Engine version 6.30 or higher"
and then i gave NEXT then it gave another error message " No instance found for the central instance. Check your file system. Install Web AS 6.30 and restart this deployment afterwards".
Kindly let me know how to find which version of Web AS now i am using and how to upgrade to higher version.

Checkconfig failed after install of SAP J2EE 620 on 4.7 ABAP system

Dear All!
We have installed the 4.7 ABAPfirst then installed SAP J2EE engine 6.20 according to the OSS note 545422. But when we do the check by following the instruction of the OSS note to start SAP J2EE administrator by Choosing Start --> SAP J2EE Engine 6.20 --> <Instance_number> --> Administrator and the login failed.
Can any one give us a hand?

Ik have never started this through the Start menu, but always by starting the batchfile go.bat.
This can be found, just like the Unix methode in the note you mentioned.
That is: usr/sap//j2ee/admin/go.bat
Remember to create a connection through the dispatcher using port 50004.

Remote Hosting SAP

We currently run SAP internally but there is a project to host SAP externally. Has anyone got any advice on doing this or any contacts that offer hosting.
One area we need to look at is the network bandwidth, I have read the SAP documentation about this but would like some real life examples of bandwidth to the hosting site to our site with about 400 users, running EEC6 and plans to run BI as well.
Any advice would be helpful.

SMD Issue: A remote host refused an attempted connect operation

Hi all,
I am installing SMD agent 7.2 on managed system which is ABAP+JAVA 7.0. I Have successfully installed SMD agent 7.2 on Managemd system. Now, i need to configure its Introcope agent for JAVA system in sOlution manager. when i go to RCA->MAnaged system->setup wizard, it successfully configures it in further screens.
However, wehn i go to RCA->MAnaged system->INtroscope agent and select the respective JAVA SID for which I installed sMD agent, it does not display the server node of jAVA for that system. Also when I check in the logs of sMG agent in the managed system, I get the below error;

I have checked in agent administration screen. The agent is successfully assigned. I only see a problem while solman talking to the managed system on P4 port. I believe I have to open or do some administration of this P4 port. But where I am not sure.
I mean while installed another SMD Agent on another J2EE server and it worked instantly!

Hi,
I am using Netweaver studio 2.0.15 for developing web dynpro application and using Application server 7.1.
When I try to configure J2EE engine in Netweaver studio, it is giving a message
message saying "No system could be found under
sapmnt."
If i configure as remote host, server was configured but when i try to deploy the application i am getting message " Cannot determine sdm host. Please configure your engine/sdm correctly."
Please any one help me to resolve my problem.

SAP J2EE Engine configuration in NWDS 7.1

Hello everybody,
I would like to configure the SAP J2EE engine server (host and port) in NWDS 7.1.
In NWDS 7.0 I used to go in the Preference > SAP J2EE Engine and select "SAP J2EE engine is installed on a remote host" and enter the "Message server host" and "Message server port".
In NWDS 7.1, there is no "SAP J2EE Engine" in the preference and the only place where I found a field for J2EE engine was a local host only one.
How can I do in 7.1 what was able to do in 7.0?

Hi Fronis,
I feel you just installed NWDS CE 7.1. But there is a lenghty process to achive that. After installation of 7.1 in menu path goto help>software updates>link*(first option)>login to servicemarketplace>there are two options first select 1st after completion next select 2nd it will take long time(bcozz it will download nearly 1.7gb).
try this and let us know....
