HI,
Can anyone help on the Coupon distrib. prof as I am Simulating the POS Simulation then IDOC is failing because of
No distribution profile exists for coupon article 000000000010001083
I created the coupon profile and assigned to it but what inside the coupon profile need to be maintained I have no idea.
Please let mw know the coupon profile inside settings and its use.

Why we create settlement profile. What master data must exist in sap before creating settlement profile for order.
As mentioned above, settlement is to post the cost to cost centers or any possible receivers as per the settlement profile. PM / Service orders, WBS elements, etc., can be temporary cost bearers from which cost should be settled to some permanent receivers.
Cost elements / Cost element groups should be available as Master data before configuring settlement profile.
To answer your latest query, there are 2 type of cost centers.
Sender Cost Center - Against this, labor / internal activity price will be maintained in KP26. This cost center will be maintained in PM / PP work centers. While creating PM / PP orders, one of the work centers & activity types will be mentioned. Based on the KP26 entry for the combination of Activity type & Sender cost center, price will be picked & calculated according to work hours / labor hours maintained in PM / PP orders.
Receiver Cost Center - Receiver cost center is the department / location cost center to which cost should be settled. Only receiver cost center will be maintained in settlement profile. Sender cost centers will be picked up automatically from work center. -
Create Display Authorization Profile for SAP Transaction SPRO (IMG).

In my current implementation project there is an requirement to create display authorization profile for SPRO. I have tried a lot but was not able to do so.
Any one is having an experience in creating display profile for SPRO (IMG) ? If any one has worked on this issue then please guide me.

This is security related question. I am not security expert.
But you can check this, Include the following authorization objects in the profile and assign this profile to the target user.
S_IMG_ACTV
S_PROJECT
S_PROJ_AUT
S_PRO_AUTH
and assign activity = 03 (Display).

SAP ERP == XI == SAP POS (Customer Data Maintenance)
Dear Friends,
We are doing the scenario SAP ERP ==> XI ==> SAP POS. This is IDoc to File scenario. The file is picked from FTP site by receiver(where the Triversity server pick ascii files).
Here problem is after picking the file, data is not inserted, updated, deleted in the Customer Profile table of Triversity Store Manager. (We follow the Technical Reference Guide for creating files).

After integration of SAP retail and SAP POS, we are receiving file from PI for e.g DEPTTXN.asc (below) ,
As according to DEPTTXN.ASC file format update type ,department, department group ,description should be of Decimal 2.0,decimal4.0, decimal 3.0 and string 20 respectively,
But we are receiving data in below mentioned format ,because of that when we are posting this file to Xpress sever-> parm folder to view its data in Store manager we are not
able see all the details of DEPTTXN.asc ,only price point details with the linked category and department are shown there. We are facing same difficulties with other two files also.
Do we have to do some modification in PI for the naming of department and department group?
It will be great help ,if you can guide us to solve this particular issue.

How to maintian Distribution Profile ?

We have use apply SAP package AFS (Apparel and Footwear ) .
There is a special function "Distribution Profile" when create BOM.
But I can't find out where to create Distribution Profile.
Hope someone can tell me how to create "Distribution Profile".

You can define a quantity distribution profile for the following cases:
The header material of a BOM and its component have the same grid.
Due to the automatic grid value assignment, a consumption quantity was assigned to each grid value that corresponds to the default quantity at component level. In this case it is advantageous to use the quantity distribution profile only for grid values, whose consumption quantity deviates from the default quantity. You can use the same quantity distribution profile for the assignment of different materials that are based on the same grids.
The header material of a BOM and its component have different grids.
When using the quantity distribution profile, it is not necessary to manually assign grid values. You can use the same quantity distribution profile for the assignment of different materials that are based on the same grids.
It is advantageous to use a quantity distribution profile in the BOM if you use only a few grids to define the characteristics of many materials. Then you can use the same quantity distribution profile again and again.

Unable to create the Distribution cycle with WBS Element as Receiver
Dear SAP Friends,
I am creating the Distribution cycle in KSV1, Sender is Cost center and Receiver is WBS element.
Once i select Receiving tracing factor Tab i am getting the error like :
Message :
No valid receiver entries exist
Message no. GA015
Diagnosis
You have established a group of receivers by entering either intervals or groups in the selection criteria. However, in the master data check, the SAP System cound not find any valid receivers in your selected group.
System Response
The single value entry screen is not shown.
Procedure
Check your entries for the selection criteria. It is possible that the master data is locked. You can get more info be choosing "Error log...".
Please let me know how we need to create the Assesment cycle for WBS elements as receivers and Cost centre as Sender.

I have to post it to R3 using IDOC WPUUMS
Sender side i have to use File adapter as i have to pic up a file from FTP.
Receiver side i have to use IDOC adapter a i have to post it to R3.
What are the things i have to do with respect to IS-Retail fundamentals, please explain in detail.
What kind of mapping i have to use.

the challenge with the "map the TLOG and create WPUUMS Idoc" is that inside the TLOG you are getting receipt based data. But for the WPUUMS IDOC you'd be expecting to see aggregated information.
The better and recommended way to integrate SAP POS with SAP Retail is to use the delivered standard integration with the following two data streams:
1. SAP Retail master data (e.g. articels, prices, promotions) to SAP PI to SAP POS
2. SAP POS - Transnet - SAP PI - SAP POS DM - SAP BW/SAP Retail
The advantage would be that aggregation is handled in POS DM and you have all the detail available in SAP BW and that you will be able to utilize the data collected for other processes as well.

Reg. Distribution profile during MM01
Dear Exports
During material creation, in distribution profile field I gave 001 then the following error occured.

Message no. W#442
Diagnosis
An error occurred determining the plant distribution profile for plant 1001.
Diagnosis
Plant 1001 does not exist.
No distribution profile has been specified for plant 1001 in plant master data.
The distribution profile specified for plant 1001 in plant master data is not defined in Customizing.
Procedure
Check the plant master data for plant 1001.
Check the Customizing settings for the plant distribution profiles.
Pls help me giving steps to solves the problem.

Rajakumar.KThank you so much for your response. Sorry, I should have mentioned that we are not using the Retail functionality. We are trying to use this field for reporting purposes and have been unsuccessful in getting even the defaul distribution profile to work. When trying to select this in MM02, we get the following error:
Error determining plant distribution profile for plant XXXX
Message no. W#442
However, I did follow what you said. SAP gave me a lot of warnings that we are not setup as a retail system, but I went ahead and assigend the Default 001 to the plant in use. This did work, but I'm wondering if this is the best route.'

Distribution Profile / Customer Specific Forecast Release
Hello All,
I have a small question about the distribution profiles in Demand Planning. We use MRP and VMI scenarios.
1. While using VMI, we release forecast from DP to SNP using a distribution profile for each location. We get the percentages based on the quarterly reports on what was actually shipped to the customer and we manually enter the percentage every three months.
Our planners do this manually for the locations today since we only have a bunch of customers through VMI.
2. For the rest of the customers, we use DP and MRP. We release the forecast to ECC using a distribution function that would equally divide the PIR by the total number of days and we see that in MDO4.
The concern now is that instead of dividing the forecast equally by the day, can we divide it by the percentages of forecast consumed by the customer like we do for VMI?
If so, rather than the planner entering the numbers in the distribution profile manually, is there an automated way such as an exit that would actomatically calcuate the percentage consumed by a specific location and update them in the distribution profile automatically. Thank you for your time.

Description: Change period split profile when DP released to SNP.
BAdi Name - /SAPAPO/SDP_RELDATA
Description - Modification of Data During Release from DP to SNP - Orders
You can fetch Period Split Profile value from Freely-Definable Attribute(like AT101) Product-Location Master (Table Name : /SAPAPO/MATLOC) to use during Forecast Release process. is added in /SAPAPO/MATLOC table.
You can create commonly used pattern using distribution functions and mapped those to different Period Split profiles. Also you can map these PSPs to some kind of numeric digits/text to easily identify/remember period split profile names uniquely. These numeric digits can be set into Product-Location Master by either users or by using custom program.
This is just an idea, please think, you may improvise further to make it more purposeful for your scenario.
Example : Common distribution functions -
Month - 4 X 4 - 25% split into 4 Week on the Month
Month - 1F X 1 - 100% on 1st day of the Month
Month - 1L X 1 - 100% on last day of the month
Month - 2 X 4 - 50% split into 2nd and 3rd week of the Month and so on and so forth

IAM GIVING THE DOCUMENT WHICH COULD HELPS YOU NOT ONLY CREATING PARTNER PROFILES BUT ALSO TO SEND THE DATA BETWEEN SYSTEMS.
Application Linking and Enabling (ALE)
In this document you will learn the step-by-step procedure to setup the ALE system and go through a transaction between two clients
For our purpose we have two clients
namely Client 100 and Client 200.
System name is SAPKDC (FOR BOTH 100 AND 200 CLIENTS).
Distribution of Material Master Data Between two Systems
1) SETUP LOGICAL SYSTEM: (Note: Do Not Create This Step)
To do this follow the following steps
Execute SALE Transaction Code
On The Screen Click on Sending and Receiving Systems.
Then Click on Logical Systems.
Then Click Defining Logical Systems.
Click New Entries Button
(E.g. (LG100 sending system)
(LG200 receiving system))
Enter two logical system names and their description.
Save
Comeback to SALE Transaction Code screen.
2) Now you have to allocate the created logical systems to respective clients.( Note: Do Not Create This Step)
LG100 assign to client 100
LG200 assign to client 200
To do this, do the following.
Click Assigning Client to Logical System.
Ignore the message that comes up on the screen.
Select client 100
Click details button on the toolbar icon or press F2.
In the logical system box, enter LG100.
Click on the save Icon
Click the back button.
Now select client 200.
Click details icon or press f2.
In logical Systems box, enter LG200.
Save
Back.
Comeback to SALE Transaction Code screen.
3) Maintain RFC Destination: (TR.CODE:SM59)
(Note: Do Not Create This Step)
Click Create Button on the Screen
On the Screen Maintain RFC Destination i.e LG200.
Enter LG200 in RFC destination box.
Connection type is 3
Give a description for the RFC destination.
Maintain Technical Settings on Details on Technical Settings tab
Target Host as : SAPKDC (NOTE: Save it as a Host Name)
Maintain Logon Details on Logon/Security tab.
Language: EN.
User: MMUSER200 (This is the logon for dist.)
Client : 200
Password: MM1234.
Save.
Click on create to do the above process for Client 200 in
The client 200 system.
4) Maintain Distribution Model.(BD64). (ABAPer role starts here)
Execute Maintain distribution model directly for
creating the model.
Click on change mode button on App tool bar of the Screen.
Create Model View pushbutton on App tool bar of the Screen.
A pop screen will appear in which you specify
Short text as Distribution for MM Data.
Enter Technical Name as LGMODEL.
Select Model View and Click on Add Message Type Pushbutton on App toolbar of the Screen.
A popup screen will appear in which you specify
Model View as LGMODEL.
Sender as LG100.
Receiver as LG200.
Again Click on Add Message Type Pushbutton on App toolbar of the Screen.
A popup screen will appear in which you specify
Model View as LGMODEL.
Sender as LG200.
Receiver as LG100.
SAVE.
On the same screen goto Menubar and select Environment.
And then select Generate Partner Profiles , then execute it.
On the Screen specify the Logical System as LG200.
Then execute the screen.
Click back.
Again On the same screen goto Menubar and select EDIT.
Again select Model View and then select Distribute.
****LOGIN to client 200.
Execute Tr.code BD64 and again On the same screen goto Menubar and select Environment.
And then select Generate Partner Profiles , then execute it.
On the Screen specify the Model View as LGMODEL
And Specify the Logical System as LG100.
Then execute the screen.
Click back.
*******Switch back to client 100 Session.
5) Create Material using MM03 Tr.Code.
Enter the material name as LGMATERIAL
Industry sector as Mechanical Engineering
Material Type as Finished Products.
And then Click on Data Pushbutton on the App tool bar.
Select views.
In the select views box for materials check basic data 1 AND 2.
Click enter icon.
In the next screen that you get
Give the text of the material as NEW MATERIAL.
Base unit of measure as KG.
Gross Weight as 200.
Net Weight as 100.
Weight Unit as KG.
In the description area language (E) and material description.
Click Save.
Now I Created a Material in Client 100 , I want to transfer this data to Client 200.
6) Execute BD10 to transfer the material in which you specify
the material as LGMATERIAL and
message type as MATMAS (client100).
Then a Screen will be displayed in which it shows that
1 Master Idoc Generated .. Enter
1 Communication Idoc Generated..Enter.
*******LOGIN to Client 200.
7) Execute BD11 to get the material in which you specify
the material as LGMATERIAL and
message type as MATMAS (client200).
8) Execute Tr.code MM03 and give the material as LGMATERIAL
and see that the material is displayed as it was in Client 100.
If not follow these steps.
9) Execute Tr.code WE19( for rectification of errors in client200).
Specify the Existing Idoc Number and Executes it .
A Screen is displayed in which you specify the corresponding Function Module as INPUT_IDOC_MATMAS01 and execute it.
10) Execute Tr.code MM03 and give the material as LGMATERIAL
and see that the material is displayed as it was in Client 100.
Now the Material is correctly displayed in Client 200.
11) Monitoring of IDOCS.
Transaction Codes:
IDOC Display of Status: WE 05.
IDOC Date and Time: WE07. -
SAP POS/ Triversity INSTALLATION

i have installed SAP POS 2.0 but 3 Tabs(safe withdrawl,safe balance & safe content) of cash management(Store manager---->cash management menu ) is missing, i installed it again but not able to solve the problem.kindly help me for the proper installation.

Your installation is ok and Safe Management has got nothing to do with the installation. Please follow the configuration steps below
1) Define a safe
transaction functions tab --> tender --> Safe Management,
Enter safe ID 1 and create the safe
2) Define tenders for the safe
transaction functions tab --> tender --> tender setup
Open CASH tender, Under Cash management options
enter 1 for the Safe Deposit
Tick the 'Allow Safe'
3) Define thresholds (if necessary)
terminal --> Register parameters
In Cash Management options, Enter Reject threshold amount first and Warn threshold amount next for the Safe deposit, withdrawal, Safe balance and Safe transfer
Save , Convert the files and download it in Xpress Server
Exit the Store Manager deluxe and sign in again to see your Safe Management options in place

Firefox version 16.0.2 was working I have used FF for years. A few days ago it started to run very slow opening web sites. Then this morning when I tried to open it I saw a progress bar that looked like the kind I see after an update has been applied but FF never opened.
I rebooted my windows 7 64 bit and tried again, nothing FF would not open and I got no error message.
So I opened the profile manager and only found a default profile not the one I created last year with my name. I created a new profile and browsed to my old profile folder. FF opened and ran fine until I closed it and later tried to open it again then I kept getting an error box telling me that FF had crashed and asked if I wanted to send a report and restart, I did but no good it still would not open.
I ran the profile manager again and found my profile had changed name to a bunch of numbers. I delete that profile but kept the folder then made a new one and that worked. I shut it down again and once again I get the We're sorry error box.
By the way I had set the profile manager to open when FF loads and it is not opening so the problem is before it gets to that command.First I already have my view set to show everything so that is not the problem.
But I just tried opening "Computer" from the start button then type in profiles.ini in the address bar and hit enter. The profile manager opened with my profile listed. I selected it and hit start firefox and it opened as it should.
I closed it again and tried to open it from the shortcut in my task bar and I got the Sorry window.
But then I tried to open it from the short cut you get when you press the start button and program list and it work!
I went back to my desk top and tried the short cut on the desk top and it worked.
So I deleted the short cut on the task bar and created a new one and it worked.
I rebooted the computer and tried again and the task bar shortcut works and has the right profile.
So it seems that the problem is that the short cut was corrupted and was causing the error that caused the program to fail to open.
I had no idea a shortcut could do that. In the past I have had short cut stop working but never do what this one did.
I still have no idea where the profiles.ini is.
