    Hi Rao,
Go to sxmb_moni and open your response mapping and take the payload and test your mapping. It seems the value you are mapping to /ns0:MT_DAT_RES_02 is not there. Can you please check that. You need to make sure step 4 in this blog:
    /people/bhavesh.kantilal/blog/2006/07/03/jdbc-receiver-adapter--synchronous-select-150-step-by-step
Your response always comes up with _response and your message type should be like that only.  Also can you give your response mapping payload and the response message type here so that somebody can help you out if this didn't resolve your issue.

  • Error in SXMB_MONI: SAP:Code area="MAPPING" EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE /SAP:C

    Hi All
When the Idoc is sent from ECC to XI after checking the message in the SXMB_MONI I get an error saying:
    <SAP:Code area="MAPPING">EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE</SAP:Code>
What is this error and how should I go about resolving it?

    Hi,
The most probable reason is that your idoc has failed in the mapping step.
Take the xml payload of your message from SXMB_MONI and paste it the test tab of your Message Mapping.
Then you can run the mapping in the test tab of the message mapping, which will point you to the exact reason for the mapping failure.

  • SAP business process maps for mySAP ECC6.0?

Any idea how we can get the SAP business process maps for mySAP ECC6.0?  Is this imbedded in Solution Manager?
    Thanks,
    Phani

    Hello Phani,
I suppose you are looking for the solution maps for mySAP ERP (which contains SAP ECC as a component). These maps are not contained in the SAP Solution Manager, but they are delivered with the SAP Solution Composer, an offline PC tool which allows you to browse and pre-scope your own solution (evaluating your solution). The tool itself including the latest solution map content is always available for download at the SAP Service Marketplace:
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/s-composer">http://service.sap.com/s-composer</a>
You can also view the mySAP ERP - as part of the cross-industry maps -  right here:
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000338980&">http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000338980&</a>
The SAP Solution Manager would then come into play for configuring the respective processes (implementing you solution).

One more thing is I am able to test the Message Mapping available in BASIS 7.1 Software Component objects. It is executing successfully...
but otherthan this SWC it not working success fully.....

    Sridhar Goli

    Hi David,
please check the default trace. It may contain the entry:
Error in compiling : java.io.IOException: Not enough space
If that's the case, maybe there's too little space for the swap file/device.
You should ensure that at least 2X (preferably 3X) of Heap (-Xmx) is configured as real swap
    Hope that helps.

  • SAP R/3 Mapping with EDI IDOC's 846 and 852 (Outbound)

    Hi:
How are the following EDI IDOC Types mapped in SAP - R/3?
    1. Inventory Inquiry / Advice (846)
    2. Product Activity Data (852)
What is the basic type, message type, idoc type that has to be used
in both the cases - outbound based ones.
This is a consumer products industry and not a retail industry. This
is a hypothetical scenario where the end customer would like to see
the price and the stock from all the plants and then place an order
(846); and also see what is being planned in aparticaular plant for
a planning period (852). The cycle countings are carried out based
on the type of product in question and SAP-R/3 has been set up for
this. What is the trigger point for the enitre activitiy to take
place. Any valuable suggestions or guidelines are most welcome.

  • SAP data extraction mapping, where the JCO files need to be copied?

    Hi All,
    I have the following environment.
    OWB client: Windows7
    OWB server: Linux x86_64
    SAP Server: Windows Server 2003
I need to create OWB mapping to extract data from SAP to Oracle target.
Please let me know what are the JCO files required and where do i need to copy them?
Do i need to copy them on both the owb client and server or is it enough to copy them on the client machine alone?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Pnreddy.

OWB client isn't supported on Windows 64-bit, just wanted to let you know since you mentioned Windows 7..
For the windows you will require 3 files sapjcorfc.dll, librfc32.dll and sapjco.jar. You can get them from the SAP install cd or download them from http://service.sap.com/connectors for your SAP version. You will need to have a SAPnet account to do that.
You can place the files sapjcorfc.dll and sapjco.jar in OWB_HOME\owb\lib\int, and librfc32.dll in OWB_HOME\owb\bin and also set the PATH to reference this directories.
For linux you will need librfcccm.so, libsapjcorfc.so and sapjco.jar. Also set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH to reference these files locations.
If you are only extracting metadata from SAP then you need it only on the OWB client but if you plan to execute ABAP programs on the SAP system you will need to set it up on the server side.

  • SAP defined process maps on SCM

I need SAP business  and process maps on following areas for discrete and process industry.
    1. Order Management process ( Procurement)
    2. Warehouse management
    3. Transportaion management
    4. Demand planning
    5. Inventory planning.
Please inform me the location ( website , sap address etc. ).
    Thnaks.

    Sumit
Typically there is no single process flow defined for any given business scenario within SAP, normally there are a number of alternatives based on industry best practice.
When you have carried out the business blueprint phase and captured these requirements within Sap solution manager you are then able to generate process flows that describe the business scenario.
These are not currently able to generate BPEL or UML models, to do this you would need to use something like ARIS for SAP Netweaver.
Unless the context of the business requirements are understood and without access to SAP Solution manager you might be limited as to the "process flow" view you seem to be after.
Therefore please have a look at the business scenario maps, I would also recommend downloading the solution composer, this should be capable of generating the business scenarios for you.

  • SAP - BC inboind mapping not working

I have a remote enabled function module in SAP which passes 2 tables to BC and expects one table back. I have created a package on BC which I want to call from my FM, so I've created a mapping in BC admin.
    Everything looks fine so far.
I test from BC developer running the flow created automatically by the mapping and it works fine. If I test it from BC admin, I get no data in the response table which should be passed back to SAP but no error. If I run the FM from SAP I get a short dump "Unknown Partner and Message Type. Sender: DEV920 Receiver: SAPBC MsgType:" which isn't very useful.
I've tried increasing the audit level on the automatically generated flow in BC to verbose but this doesn't seem to make any difference so I don't even know if it's being called correctly from either BC admin or SAP.
I've checked the RFC destination in SAP and it's fine, the listener in BC is fine too. I have other packages which are called in the same manner from SAP and their settings look the same as mine so I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there anything else I can check? Any suggestions welcome.

  • SAP user in mapping

    Hi everyone!
Is it possible to use the sy-uname for the logged on user (XI system) in the mapping? I know I can retrieve it with an ABAP mapping before the XI mapping, but I would like to know if it can be found in a system field or anything...
    regards Marianne

    Hi Mariane
You can get the user of the HTTPS request
This is possible when you have sap-user in the URL of HTTP.
    Set the parameter
    Apply URL parameter
    Parameter1 - sap-user
Then in mapping just write a UDF
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey keyURL1 = DynamicConfigurationKey.create( "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/HTTP", "UrlParamOne");
    String ourUser = conf.get(keyURL1);
    return ourUser;
You can pass this user to target message. I think this you was looking for.
    Thanks

  • SAP MDG - SMT Mapping

    Dear Guru's,
Have a question specific to MDG -M
I create a new Z field (ZZDISLS) in one of the Z entity type (ex ZMARC) and activated the Entity type & data model.
Later maintained it in the Customer Includes & activated the Structures and generated the structures.
Now when I try to create & Edit Mappings & try to do the mapping of Source & Target structures. I  only see the Z field in the source structure but not in the target structure.
am I bypassing some thing here?? Please help me to fix this issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    MSR

    Hi,
there are 2 ways for Z-fields in the model.
ZZDISLS in Model --> DISLS in MARC
Here you have to map ZZDISLS to the standard field DISLS in MARC. You can find the field DISLS in the target structure.
ZZDISLS in Model --> ZZDISLS in MARC
Here you have to extend the MARC. Ensure that the note 44410 (especially the part about the T130F) is executed. Then you can find the custom field ZZDISLS in the target structure.
