SAP spool data in PDF

Hi Friends,
I am using FM 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' to convert the ABAP spool into PDF data and I am calling FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' to send the PDF as an attachment in eamil.
Problem here is, my spool data is getting truncated in the PDF file. Could any one help on this siiue.

Try to test your spool request number in this standard program and check whether you can able to get the PDF in the right format. Program Name: RSTXPDFT4.

    I have created program running in background to convert SAP spool output to PDF using function CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF .
    It has been working fine untill I have SAP spool contained > 99 pages. It has a dialog pop up asking to run it in background.
    If I clicked YES, the function generated another background job and another spool.
    Also the returned table PDF contained no data.
    But it is ok when click NO. The program can generate PDF file.
    My problem is I want to set this program as job, so it will not generate PDF file when SAP spool contained > 99 pages.
    Has anyone experienced about this problem? or know how to convert to PDF from SAP spool (>99 pages)?

  • How to merge multiple spools in one PDF

    i have a requirement to merge multiple spools into one PDF.
    I have the code to merge 2 spools into one PDF but acc to my requirement this number can be any( say 100). hence i need  help to merge N number of spools in one PDF.

    Take the data of all spools into a internal table then create a new spool with this data then downlad this data into pdf format.
    By this method you can download any number of spools into a single pdf file. Please see the below code
    Fetch spool number
    Select rqident from tsp01 into table g_t_data

    Read sool data and take this data into a internal table
    Loop at g_t_data.
               Call program to read spool as follows

    i have spool data which is going to be print in PDF format.
    if line is extented..thenit is prining the in the next line..
    but that next line is not starting after one tab space.
    so how to remove that space.

    here test material is not coming fully in the first line..it is cutting and displaying in 2 lines.

  • Spool no. data to PDF and then to mail

    Hi all ,
    My requirement is i have to display all the spool request no.'s for the particular user and from that user will select the particular spool no. . and that particular data has to convert into PDF and that PDF should go to mail id specified in selection screen.
    now my prob. is when i am downloading the PDF on desktop it is opening with right data and when i am sending to mail id with the same internal table with PDF format , the file is corrupted and giving some error.
    for ur reference here i am sending my code , please check and let me know .

  • PDF document to SAP SPOOLER:

    Hello everyone,
    There are many many examples of objects outputted to PDF. ALV lists, grids, and also SAP Spooler.
    Has anyone run across a way to send a pdf to SAP spooler to print out? I know that
    Adobe Forms is currently doing this in some manor.
    Is it possible to customize that functionality?

    I am not an expert, but I hope it will help you:
    1) SAP is able to convert ABAP lists and OTF documents (sapscript, smart form) into PDF binary, but it is not able to send this binary to printers. PDF1 device is a converter but I think it can't be used with printers. PDF conversion is only used to create files, attach PDF to mails, and so on.
    2) SAP sends documents to printers by first converting them into PCL, PS, Prestige, etc. PDF is not used.
    So I think that printing directly a PDF by sending it to a printer is not possible: it must be first converted to PCL, PS, etc. For that, you may use softwares like Ghostscript...

    I'm looking for a solution to print existing PDF-Files (external Directory) via SAP-Spool, in order to create a set of documents in correct succession, where some of them are created within SAP and others beeing created externally (PDF-Files).
    We use NW7.0 and have AdobeDocumentServices activated.
    I don't want to create PDF-Files out of SAP-Spool-Requests.

  • How to display the data in PDF format : problem is splitting into 2 lines

    I developed one report which downloads the data into PDF format and saved in C drive but my problem is
    in my program : Line size of the report is 255 in PDF it is splitting into 2 lines. it has to show in a single line. how to do it. how to reduce the width of the output? i am sending my code below. anybody can suggest me how to do it. if possible please send me the code.

  • Converting binary data into pdf and placing into application server

    Hi Friends,
    I am able to get PO details in binary format and then using GUI_DOWNLOAD  with file type with 'bin' and file name with 'sample.pdf' extension , got  PO in pdf  format.
    But i need to get with pdf extension in application server without using GUI_DOWNLOAD.
    Is there any functional modules for it?

  • Problem in converting Spool Request into PDF format

    Hi,
      I am facing problem to convert spool request (which store output of sap script) in to PDF format. Actually I have converted it with function module 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' and it is working properly but the problem occurs where the BOLD fonts are used. I am unable to see the Text/Address where i have used Bold Font in script (PDF FORMAT). Even though in (SPO1) spool request shows every thing perfectly (along with Bold Font). It will great if you could suggest me something.

  • How to display the data in PDF format

    hi all,
    i will give input in my selection screen and i will execute my report then it has to display data in PDF file in some directory (like c or d directory). i refered existingthreads . most of then saying using spool req we can download pdf file i.e. not my requirement. my requirement is when i click on execute button it has to display the data in pdf file with headings.
    Anybody can send me the sample code please.
