SAP UCES - One BP having multiple Contract Accounts

Hi,
I understand there is a way to display a list of contract accounts that the contract partner has after UCES logon.
The same screen can also be accessed by Menu link Switch Account. But is this a standard feature of UCES or does it require any customization or configuration? If yes, then any details will be very helpful.

Hi,
there are no customizing settings to be done. Please check your webbase-config.xml file. It should contain sth like the following code:

Pls also check the startEBPP webaction:

Be sure to have also a screen elemnt for accswitch within your webbase-config.xml (you should have that):

'BBPSC11' error in Monitor SC for one User - having multiple positions in org structure - but having one BP code associated to all positions.
We have one BP ID associated to multiple positions of the same user - in multiple org structure.
The org unit is refered as one Project and like wise we have multiple projects people worked on.
Once the Proj is over we move the Users from one Proj (Org unit) to another Proj, with new Position created copying the old and associate old BP code to it.
With this when we go for Monitor SC option - enter User ID in Created By field - old SC are listed but we are getting error if we click on the Detail icon.
Error:The Internet Transaction Server could not start the transaction "BBPSC11" because of the following error: Attribute for user contains errors. Inform systemadmin. .

Pl. verify the user with txn-bbp_attr_check. It could be that the org. relationship of the user changed with what was captured on shopping cart. Also use txn-users_gen to repair the user.

Hey Guys,
In my db, one culmn having multiple values with comma separator. like column_name = 'value1,value2,value3'. Now I want to compare this column to another column and fetch in Cursor.
and each value having corresponding email_id, By fetching cursor, I need to populate email_ids.

Please compare and fetch cursor and populate result with out extract data into temp table. Give me the query!You have not provided DDL for table so I don't know table or column name to write any SQL.
You have not provided DML for test data to run SQL against.

Having multiple user accounts and using apple tv mirroring breaks and also compromises privacy?

I've got a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac from Feb 2012 and the newest Apple TV 2 that I bough t a few months ago (June 2012 I think).
On my iMac I set up a second user account besides my primary account to allow my ladyfriend to use Apple TV mirroring to watch movies from my user account's Public folder. It worked for a short time and then (now I wonder if this was when 10.8.1 was released) it ceased to work.
Here's what happens now:
1. I log in as the TVwatching account (leaving my primary account logged in)
2. In the TVwatching account I switch on Apple TV mirroring and the result is (on the mirrored screen, not the iMac) an alternating glitchy green screen with bits of the TVwatching account's desktop and then bits of my primary account's desktop flashing in the background
3. I turn off mirroring
4. I log back in as my primary account (leaving TVwatching user logged in) and turn on mirroring and the mirrored display looks just fine
5. I turn off mirroring
6. Log back into the TVwatching account (leaving the primary user logged in) and this time, when I turn on mirroring, it's clearly viewing my primary user's account --- HELLO PRIVACY BREACH!!! Also, no green screen and no flip-flop flashing of the two user's desktops.
When I log out my primary user and just log into TVwatching account it works as expected but I would think I should be able to have multiple user account support since I leave my computer (and my primary account) on all the time.
One thing I will try is the newly released 10.8.2 update (installing as I write this) and I'll see if I can still reproduce.

I should add that I did a system restore of the Apple TV this evening too and was still able to reproduce, as well as the firmware update that was available. As far as I can tell, the Apple TV is up to date on the latest everything.

One credit cards, multiple ITunes accounts

Can I have multiple ITunes accounts with different email addresses and use one single credit card when purchasing items from each of the accounts?

Actually, you can't have more than 3 accounts tied to the same credit card in iTunes. And Apple support (online, chat, email, phone, store) is no help in figuring out what is going on. When you try to setup the 3rd account with the same credit card, iTunes says "Contact iTunes Support to complete this transaction" but does not provide any contact info. I've been trying to set up the 3rd of 9 accounts I need to setup for our corporate iPads for 2 days now. Support did some digging and after an hour on the phone, told me I could "have each user just set up their own iTunes account with their own credit card".
This is so remeniscent of steps another computer company stumbled over when they started to sell to Corporate America. Apple does not get the corporation. Product looks good but there is a lot of unfinished business when it comes to administering multiple devices. Support is friendly but not very able to solve the problem.

Hi. We have a client. Setup of Windows account was like this.
1. Built-in Administrator account is disabled.
2. Primary mandatory user account was made with Administrator rights (e.g. User).
3. Updated Windows 7 Pro 32-bit SP1 and installed all applications except for SAP Business One
4. Created new windows user account with Administrator rights (e.g. Admin)
5. Changed the primary account (e.g. User) from Administrator to a Standard User type
6. During SAP Business One client app installation, image below always notify even UAC was turned-off and installation proceeds without any error.
7. After installation, image below was the result.
8. Made some testing by enabling the built-in Administrator account and re-installed SAP Business One client app and result was the client app works ok with this account.
9. Created new user account with Standard User type and run the SAP client app and result was also ok with this account.
10. Run SAP Business One client app on primary made account (e.g. User-Standard User type) and the the made Administrator account (e.g. Admin) but same (local) only result occurred.

You can create separate user accounts and sign into your respective iCloud accounts within your user account.

Using one iPad with multiple iTunes accounts

I am trying to understand the iTunes implementation on iPad..After synching my MBP on an iPad, all of my settings music, photos,mail are transferred to the iPad...my wife now wants to use the iPad as we are traveling...can my iPad's iTunes be signed off and her iTunes account be logged on thus she can access all her data stored on her iTunes account? I have spent a lot of time investigating this on the forum and I do not understand what can and not can be done...If this can not be done, then if any iBooks we want read (different books for me/wife) then needs to be purchased and read on the one iPad needs to be bought on only MY account which is synched to my MBP... ? It seems that you need one iPad for each user...(we each have our own MBP)?

The iPad is not set up to allow different users with different data.
All users have the same data.
iTunes account = iTunes store account to make purchases
iTunes library = everything in iTunes when she logs in with her computer login

If you mean she want to sync the ipad with her iTunes library, yes.
She will need to login to her computer account, connect the iPad, launch iTunes then sync it.
This will erase all your data on the iPad and sync all her data.
If you mean can she access iTunes store account, launch iTunes on the iPad, scroll to the bottom and tap Sign out iTunes then sign back in with her iTunes account.
This will not add anything of hers to the iPad but she can make purchases with her iTunes account.

Multiple ipods, one computer with multiple user accounts - Vista

My daughter just got a new ipod for Christmas, and she has her own login on our family computer using Vista. So she has her own folders for documents, pictures, etc. I installed iTunes under her login thinking that it would pull songs from her the folders in her account, and allow her to log into her iTunes account. It pulled every song on the computer into iTunes. When I plug in her ipod I have an option of syncing it and pulling every song on to it. Bad user experience.
My request is simple. How can my daughter have her own login for itunes that is tied to her iTunes account, pulls music from her files when she is logged in on the family computer?

If your daughter has a majority of iTunes Store purchased content on her iPod. She can transfer all these purchases back into iTunes via the following informational link below.
This will then allow her to sync back and forth from the iPod. You will also need to ensure she is authorized on this account. There is a link below that covers this as well.

One iTunes Library, multiple user accounts?

I recently purchased a new iMac 21.5" for my Family and want to share my iTunes library with my wife's OS X user account so we can both access the same music/media on both accounts. Is there an easy way to do this? Maybe place the files in a "shared" folder?
Also, What's the best way to move my iTunes media to my new Mac from my old PC?

The Apple store will move everything from the pc to the mac or you can call Apple Support and they will help you do it.
If you type "share itunes library" into the search bar at the top of this page next to "Support" and find articles to show you how to do this.

SAP UCES (Call Center Search Mode) - Mimic functionality

Hi,
We are implementing SAP UCES 6.02(Utility Customer E-Services) which is a java based customer website for Utility Industry. UCES comes with a CSR(Customer Service Rep) Mimic functionality where by a CSR(from CRM Web IC) gets to see the same pages on the website as the customer(after logon).
Mimic functionality does not seem to support the one business partner to multiple contract account mapping as supported by UCES during customer logon and thus currently I see different results after UCES Logon(as a Customer) and search of Customer by CSR(Mimic functionality).
Has anyone run into this problem? Detailed steps for the workaround or enhancement would be highly appreciated as there is hardly any documentation available for this product.

Thanks for your response. I will explain the issue:
Out of the box functionality
UCES supports one to one mapping of a Business partner to contract account.
Mimic functionality lets a customer service representative launch UCES from Web I/C(it logs on the CSR in UCES using SSO).In the URL , it adds a request parameter ebppMode="S"(Mimic mode). The first screen that comes up in a mimic mode is a customer search screen where CSR can search for customers using either one of the following:
Business Partner Number(Customer No)
First Name/Last Name
Street ,House No
City.
Enhanced Functionality
With a small enhancement(coding in ABAP) one BP can be mapped to multiple contract accounts. With this enhancement, after logon in UCES , an account switch page comes up which lists all the contract accounts mapped to the business partner. Then the user can select one of the contract accounts and proceed.
Mimic functionality works fine before the enhancement (mapping one BP to multiple CA during logon), but after the enhancement when a BP number is searched in Customer search screen(mimic mode), it fetches multiple account links all pointing to the same account instead of different accounts. The person who did the enhancement(in ABAP) for logon says the mimic cannot work for business partners having multiple contract accounts.
Please let me know if you have run into this problem or if you have any ideas on this.

One order with reference to multiple contracts

As we create one invoice(consolidated invoice) for multiple orders where condition is header data should be same for all the orders.In the same way can we create one order with reference to multiple contracts?

Is this the only way to create one order for multiple contract? Why i am asking because in SAP we are creating contracts but the release order we are getting it uploaded from other software.I am in a service industry project where we do DP91(resource related billing) for all the contract.But in dp91 we can give only one contract at a time.
But we want to create order where multiple contract can be used .
And where in order we can see the contract number?
In the table it is visible as ref doc but not in the order.

Relations:
One Business Partner will have multiple Contract Accounts
One Contract Account will have multiple Contracts( ex: Gas contract or Electricity contract or water contract)
One Contract will have one installation
One Connection Object will have multiple Premises.
One Premise will have will have multiple installations
Question:
Is it like one Contract Account can link to only one premise? Or does it depend on Company data model?
One Business partner has 2 properties at 2 different premises. And 2 contract at these 2 premises.
To manage this situation, Does BP need 2 different CA or only CA can have these 2 contract with different premises?

The cardinality is as follows:
1 BP : n CA
1 CA : n Contracts
1 Contract : 1 Installation
1 Connection object : n Premises
1 Premise : n Installations
So a Bp can have 1 or several contract accounts, and an account can have 1 or more contracts, and the contracts for an account can be for any service locations - they are not limited [standard system behavior] to a specific location. Client data model and business rules may determine differently.

New contract account for every line item in subscription order....

Hi Guys,
I am having a problem with the subscription order.
Whenever I change the subscription order and add a line item to it, SAP by default creates a new contract account for that line item. Whereas I want to assign the same contract account to the second line item also.
Can you suggest me any solution for this problem?

Hello Abhay,
This is the normal and correct function for SAP. If you would like for the subscriptions to be on the same contract that you subscriber has, an enhancement has to be developed.
We had a similar requirement and an enhancement was developed per specifications.
