SAP XI GATEWAY in order to comunicate with XI itself

Hello All
I have a program in abap XI .
In a scenario (RFC to file) that I am making , the data of this RFC are the same parameters of the program .
I want to call this RFC .. what gateway of XI do I have to use ?
Can I create a gateway in xi in order to comunicate with itsef ? if possible how can I do it ?

What is ur exact scenario. Do u wanted to send the R3 data to XI.
U can do in the three different ways.
1) Using Client proxy
2) Using RFc adapter
3) Using IDOC.
As per ur statement I suggest to go with either PRoxy or RFC adapter.

Hello,
For a mobile project we use SAP Netweaver Gateway in order to retrieve information from workflows stored into SAP Business Workflow.
We are able to retrieve standard informations for a workflow but custom fields added into "Extensible Elements" section are lost when exit SAP NG.
We have checked the configuration of SAP NG (by 4 differents person) and it seems to be OK.
Do you have an idea why the custom fields are lost during SAP NG processing ?

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'dataServices' of undefined
Any idea what is the problem.

Change of sales order in combination with planned/released production order

Hi Guru's,
How do you deal with changes in the sales order in combination with planned orders and the scenario how to deal with release production orders?
Can you tell me the SAP scenario, technically or reports or transactions or user exits, etc?

Here You have 2 scenarios
1. Sales order changed at planned order stage
In this case any chagne of quantity done in the sales order level will be taken care by the Planned order until it was not firmed .
In case if it was firmed for the increased qty you will get a new planned order getting created.
In case if it is reduced and if it was unfirmed it will get changed accordingly
2. Sales order changed at production order stage
if the planned order was converted to production order change we can manually changes the respective Production order util no confirmation was done to any operations..

SAP Fiori Track Purchase Order Error

We are implementing SAP Fiori Track Purchase order standard Application. Have configured and activated services. Able to run app and view PO's. Error occurs after tap on PO's. as "HTTP Request Failed" I am here with attaching Error Snapshots.

I am getting the following error in Track purchase order fiori Application.
This problem happen when I am searching a Purchase order(PO) number in the left panel and it's not able to find that PO number. It is giving error as mentioned below.
Issue:2
we have created some PR(purchase requisition) and from that we create some PO. So ideally that should appear in Track purchase order Apps. But it was not showing directly in the screen. If i use the filter option in the left panel to 7 days then also its is not coming.
But when I search particular PO number which i created today in the left panel search box its give that PO details and works fine then.
Issue:3
we have created a Purchase order through purchase requisition and get delivered in ECC. The status of delivered is not changing.
Can you please help me on this.All the issues are mentioned for Track Purchase order Fiori App.

Help:the sales order is created with a 0 quantity

I am able to create the sales order now. and it is showing up in SAP too.
But i have one more problem.
The sales order is created with a 0 quantity.
I was passing quantity in the field COMP_QUANT of the table ORDER_ITEMS_IN.
Can anyone help me with this, as to what field of the table ORDER_ITEMS_IN should be updated to show the quantity in the sales order

This is the mistake...
ORDER_ITEMS_IN-COMP_QUANT you populated, but you missed
ORDER_ITEMS_INX-COMP_QUANT = 'X'.
because of this it is not updated.

Hanging Sessions in SAP ITSmobile/Standalone SAP ITS Gateway

Hi,
We have recently implemented SAP ITSmobile/Standalone SAP ITS gateway 6.20 (6200.1035.9507.7, build 1121051 - Single host) connected to LXE RDT device for warehouse operation.
In warehouse forklift operators quite often lose connection to Wireless access point,which is creating orphan sessions in background and not getting cleared sometimes from the system, we have to manually Clear(kill) the sessions .
I have introduced following parameters in SAP ITS instance in ALL SERVICES. pls let me know, is there any parameter need to be enforced to clear the hanging session. Apprecitete your help.
Parameters in SAP ITS Gateway Instance:
~disconnectonclose = 1
~timeout = 30
~usertimeout = 0
Also, I see following log entries in access log, what could be the reason for ???? in the access log ?

Hello Soma,
With the ITS 6.20 you can use the ~timeout parameter to change the session timeout in minutes. Basically the value, in minutes, will determine when the session terminated after that period of inactivity. This can be changed on a per service level. So if you think the wireless connection is lost every 10 minutes and the users should have activity every 5 minutes then it is safe to change the ~timeout value to 10.
In the access.log the question marks (?) are when a request is made before there is user information, that would mostly be the logon page. The entries with "command" in it are requests from the ITS ADM instance.

the above problem is sorted with help of workflow and basis consultant as in SWU3 RFC destination was not enabled,
as now it is enabled, workflow is getting triggered but after creating distribution package it is generating error saying no receipient found,
the mail is not reaching the SAP INBOX,
Kindly let me know whether i missing any config.

You wll have to mark ALL the correct options in order to gain that one full mark for a question.
And yes, pass marks is 55%. You are right.

SAP NetWeaver Gateway Trail version Part 1 is not available for down load. I was successfully able to download Part 2 and Part 3 but Part 1 is not available. Can you someone help me with Part 1?

I tried downloading 7.01 from sdn.sap.com
The link for part2 of the file broke as many as three times
So I switched to ftp link.
But it happens to be 7.0
can I use any download manager with sdn.sap.com
If not, any alternate links..

I have just started with SAP NW Gateway and in a learning stage.
I have some questions on the SAP NW Gateway development aspects.
1. Whether we need to develop the services in the backend (SAP ECC - SEGW transactions) and need to only expose the NW Gateway system or we need to develop the business logic in backend (SAP ECC) and need to develop the interfacing components (NW Gateway - SEGW)?
2. Are there any development guidelines (preferrably published by SAP)?
