SAPscript language translation target language not available

Hi Experts,
I am translating SAPscript from english to Bosnian but when i click on the search help in target language input box(SE 76) I do not find Bosnia language. What should i do?
Please help me.

You just inform to your PM on Who assigned this object to you.
You raise issue, I am unable to language translation to specific language because this language is not support in this server. this language is upload for this server. Basis people will do further upload this language.
2 months back i was also facing just like this problem.. after then they configured.....

The problem is ;
Customer no : 0012345
For this Customer no description is maintained only in EN, JA ,FR from R3 side.

There is no value for Language ES.
BW side:
User is login into language Key ES and executing the report based on this Customer no. There is no Customer text value maintained in language Key ES. It should populate the text value empty. BW system - Language ES is installed.
I have a Reporting requirement is - I need to populate the text value for this customer No: HP International Ltd when the user login to language Key ES and execute his reports.
/BI0/TCUSTOMER Customer text table I am able to see the description for the EN, JP, FR text values.
EN: HP International Ltd
JP: HP の国際的な株式会社
FR: Ltd International de HP
If the Customer text is not available in the text table of customer for language key ES - I have to populate the any one of the existing customer text values into the language key ES - example
0012345 ES HP International Ltd
Simplest solution if we maintained ES customer description in R/3 should be ok.
Is their any other logic which I can implement in BW.

If you are opting to load Customer Text, there are two options:
1. R/3 maintained.
2. Generic Extraction using Flat Files.

Third generation ipod shows incorrect language and settings menu not avail.

My thirty gig., third generation, Ipod shows the German language and the "settings" menu is not available to change the language back to English.Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I finally found that "settings" menu by trial and error and I was able to change the language back to english. It was a royal pita lol.

Bsp logon in other language translation for OTR not displaying.

have few queries if you can help me to resolve those i will out of criss to hunt more.
1) i have application designed in English, now i have created OTR for that now i have login to Spanis Language
when i choose the option GOTO-> translate it is asking with a Pop Up EN To ES so clicked yes.
now its also ask me Maintain In Logon Language or Original Language (Please guide me what excatly i have to Choose),
for testing purpose i choose maintain in Original Language but when i logon in Sapanish logon its shows me in the degugger
SY-LANGU AS EN , BUT it should be ES , i am wondering why this happen , then again i have done it in the other way round but not working , but according to your Old Blog if i change the Qery
string for example i explain:

No i am not using portal , well i will try what you guided me , and willl soon get back to you , thanks you soo much , will hook you soon on this issue once client give the translations .
But stilll one question do i need to login in ES language to maintain translations, then only it will ask me for maintain in original language OR Logon Language , i will select Maintain in logon language as suggested by you thanks , still write me for more retification thanks Raja.

Languages of Task - Turkish not available

Hi All,
We are maintaining mail step in different langauges in task.
But the option to maintain Turkish langauge is not appearing in the language option.
I can see other languages in the task.
Please let me know, what is the source of the languges, which are available in task Languages.
Please note that Turkish language is installed in the SAP system.
Any pointer to the above query will be helpful.

Target WSDL not available

Hi all,
I'm having a runtime issue invoking a webService (SOAP/HTTP) exposed by another application.
The situation is as follows:
Our SOA composite is targeting an application web service.
This web service WSDL has been supplied to us, along with the target end point to use.
Due to securty reasons, the end point supplied is not the actual implementation of the web service, but a service router.
This service router (owned by the application) routes the SOAP calls but it does not route the WSDL query that SOA is performing.
Whenever our SOA composite tries to invoke the service, it fails since it cannot retrieve the WSDL.
Using SOAP/UI we are able to execute the web service call, since it does not try to retrieve the WSDL from the end point.
My question is: Is there a way on SOA 11g to deactivate the WSDL query and just perform the call without that WSDL query?

Data target is not available when creating an info package in BW

Hi,
I am not sure how, but I have accidentally deleted the info packages for one of the info sources. I have created init package successfully, but when I try to create a delta info package for the data mart, the data target( which is an info cube) is not appearing in the data target tab.
Any help in this issue is higly appreciated.

PRASHANT ASOPA , did you find a solution to this - I am facing a similar situation! I have tried almost everything including deleting and recreating the update rule, recreating the export datasource, activating everything a couple of times and of course cretaing and deleting info packages, but no matter what I do I can't get the system to recognize the data target.
The "funny" thing is that everywhere else, even in the "Show data flow" everything looks right!

Interesting, are you looking in the correct place for the compiler options? Compiler options aren't going to be located under "FPGA Target Properties" as you mentioned previously (sorry I missed this in your first post), rather those options are located under the "Xilinx Options" category when you create an FPGA build spec for compilation.
Right-click on Build Specifications » New » Compilation, then select the Xilinx Options category and you should see a window like this.
Can you confirm that you are looking in this location?

Language Translation for MENU items

I have copied the Standard ALV GUI Status for my ZProgram. Now the MENU items are not translated.

From the menu bar Goto->translation then it asks for from source language and target language, give them, then it you can modify the things.
After modifying logon to sap sytem in the language which you translated then they will appear in your translated language

Graphics in Language Translation

Hi,
Is there a preferred method for handling graphics (and leaders/callouts) in InDesign for language translation? And while I'm at it, ditto for content reuse.
I realize that translation & single-sourcing are two gigantic topics so I'll keep this question basic. In the screenshot I pasted below, the top graphic was done in Illustrator - including the leaders and callouts - and pasted as a whole into InDesign.
The bottom graphic was placed into InDesign minus the leaders & callouts, which were then added directly in InDesign.
We are looking into translating our manuals into four or five languages; being new to this, we'd like to know if one method of placing graphics/leaders/callouts is better than the other to facilitate language translation.
As far as single-sourcing goes, I'm at a loss as to which would work better. If I select a callout that was added in InDesign and view it in the story editor, obviously only that callout shows up. Any callouts are assigned a paragraph style; I've imported docbook & started creating a mapping of paragraph styles to basic xml tags. Ok the more I look at this babble I'm going to nix this part of the question...
If you've dealt with graphics & callouts in language translations (successfully or not) I would love to hear from you. Thanks!

First off - as usual, Bob is dead right about XP64. InDesign isn't the only relevant application to be known to be wonky on XP64 - most of the the translation memory tools I've used have also been reported to behave in unpredictable ways on XP64. However, when InDesign drops the ball, you can tell - this is not always the case when your Chinese text (that you can't read) is slowly being corrupted by your TM tool.
Anyways, I am the nerd-of-all-trades in a language service provider, and I'd have to say that the answer to your question would require some serious investigation into your workflow - investigation that, to be completely frank, would only be worthwhile to someone who was going to get paid at the end. First you'd have to ask the question "Are we jobbing the whole deal out to a third party, or are we going to do some of the work in-house?" This has a sheaf of attendant questions ("Are we relying on our language service provider to maintain translation memories for us, or are we going to do it ourselves?" "To what extent do we already have the linguistic expertise in-house?" "To what extent are our layout jockeys going to want to learn to manage this stuff?") and each one of those answers leads to a decision-tree that requires still more answers in order to get to answers.
I deal with all kinds of files, some built with XML-driven content management in mind, others made by people who learned on Publisher and draw a separate text box for each paragraph. Each kind of document-construction strategy has advantages and drawbacks, and "where are the captions?" is surprisingly deep. You could use the Captions feature in ID - but that kind of in-ID automation has consequences for the translation team, depending on whether they're using a translation tool to process the IDML files, or if they're working directly in ID, or if they're threading stories and running text out in RTF format, or if they're checking out stories with InCopy or etc. etc. etc.
Big tech-translation firms have the resources to start answering these questions for you, because they want your money. If you know how far you're going to go w/r/t outsourcing vs. in-house content management, start shopping around and their sales guys will happily promise you all kinds of impossible services. If you want an independent point of view, you actually want someone to sit down with you, closely examine your current monolingual workflow, discuss the linguistic resources you want to bring to bear on it, and then think about how you're doing your captions. Just don't do your images as TIFFs so the poor ol' DTP jockey has to open up 1000 tech diagrams in Photoshop and manually erase the rasterized captions and re-make 'em in Illy or ID; that way you won't rack up unnecessary DTP charges.
But, with all three paragraphs of disclaimer above, I can say this: You'll most likely (uhh, 80% chance?) be better off if you can keep all of your text in final layout format in a single application. That might be InDesign, or frankly, it might be FrameMaker.

Infoobjects are not translated in Language trnslations

Hi Experts
I am facing a issue for language translations. When I am trying to translate for infoobjects i am getting error that the " No text found in source language enus" . I verified there is both short and long texts are available. I am not able to find why i am getting this error. So give me ur inputs to understand and solve my issue.

Have you created that Infoobjects under a specific Catalog.If it is true try to find that catalog and you can find the Infoobjects there. If it is not true they will be under Unassigned nodes. Otherwise refresh your transaction once and try to find the Infoobject with find option.

Why are films not available in these other languages ? Unless I am mistaken, iTunes Switzerland is far from Swiss and does not encourage its people to watch films in the local languages of its country (at least French and Italian would be good too...). Can anyone help ? Do I have to move to Geneva to watch a non French film in French or Lugano to watch a non Italian film in Italian or simply buy a DVD to get round it?

I have the same problem. I want to watch any movies in French (in the original, or subtitled and/or dubbed). But I cannot seem to find any on iTunes. Does iTunes offer any content in other countries (I live overseas) in the languages of those countries?

So, if I understand you, I buy an incomplete software without any information from Adobe about that !!!!! and you don't alow me to use a complet french version of the software I paid and use on the US country because of a French law that nobody knows neither follow except ADOBE????? can you explain me more because I really don't understand your "no answer" to explain an other bug in your software... Why do you sell it as an incomplet solution at the same price in that case? Just have to inform every users about that and we will baught the US (or other language) versions in place of the french one...
Is there finaly a temporary solution to find & install the kuler extention from the US version to the french version in Photoshop & Illustrator (by myself, of course and without the agreement of ADOBE )

SMARTFORMS language translations are not stored

I am trying to translate a SMARTFORM from Language EN to Languages ES, PT & DE.
After maintaining translations using SE63 when I check the output it is giving the correct output with language translations but after changing the english version again, when I tried to give the output in language ES, PT & DE all my translations are gone. I dont know the reason why it happened, even I have created the transport using the program 'RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER' as well.
Again I did the same thing second time i .e. translated the texts in different languages and again changed the form in language EN (base language) and activated it and after this, again I have tried to give the output in languages ES, PT and DE, again the same all my translations are gone and displaying only in English language.
Kindly give some ideas so that this problem get resolved.

Allotted points for your advice, but actually before asking this question I already searched in the forums and found the same program, but I thought that since my language translations are not getting stored, I may be using wrong program for the transport to be generated.

IBooks 1.3 on iPod Touch 2G (4.2.1) dictionary not available for this language

I have an iPod Touch 2G, running 4.2.1. I also have iBooks 1.3. Everything is running well, but unfortunately I do not have the built in dictionary for ebooks that I have bought on the iBooks store. I have 14 books from their store, but I am not able to look up definitions of words with the iPod Touch. I also have an iPad 2, but the dictionary works on it (with the same books). Could someone help me with this situation? Or, could someone point me in the right direction. I cannot contact Apple, since my iPod Touch is no longer in warranty. Thank you.

I have the same problem with the same iPod Touch 2G. It keeps saying "Dictionary is not available for this language". Before the update, it was working fine...
Somebody knows how can we go back to an older version of iBooks?
