Hi Friends ,
I have to print a field next to each other in a single row . Please let me know how to go about this .
In my print program I have this:
LOOP AT t_int FROM 2.
        CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'

In the form the values of internal table should print :
XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX
XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX , XXX, XXX
XXX are different values in the internal table t_int.

Does Report Builder have any way of printing information from a row selection onto a page, rather than the whole report? I don't think it has a print button option when you create the report?

According to your description, you want to select some particular rows when printing the report. Just as you said, there is no such feature in Reporting Services.
To work around this issue, we can create a parameter with the key field value in the report. Then we can print the particular rows based on the selection in the parameter. For more details, please see:
Create a multiple parameter named filter in the report.
Specify Available Values and Default Values from the dataset key field which is acted as filter when printing the report.
Add a filter as below in the tablix:
Expression: [Key field]
Operator: In
Value: [@filter]
When we render the report in report builder, it displays all data. While we can select the particular rows in the drop-down list when we want to print the report.

SMARTFORM: How to print on document per row in an internal table

Hi.
I have created a SmatForm that is a one-page document to be printed once for every row in an itab I'm sending it via the Table Interface.
I hope I didn't waste my time designing this form but I created several Windows for each section (header, recipient address, summary of coverage, detail coverage information, disclaimer, etc.). I arbitrarily chose the header window as the "main" window (mainly because I couldn't find out what the difference between the different choices was). I've got the form laid out exactly how I want it.
If I test the SmartForm and pass in 2+ records via the test screen only the first one prints.
I thought about trying a LOOP but since you have to place the text within the loop that means all the Windows I have defined won't "get" any of the data.
I thought about looping in the driver ABAP program and just calling the SmartForm once per row but that seems horribly inefficient.
PLEASE HELP! Can I salvage what I've done already?

In the Form Interface section I have a table interface parameter defined as this:
P_CERTIFICATES_IN TYPE ZBNTT_LIFECERTIFICATE
next I declared a variable named "IT_CERTIFICATES LIKE LINE OF P_CERTIFICATES_IN" in the "Global Definitions" section and on my LOOP element (under my new MAIN window) I have "[X] Internal Table" checked and
"P_CERTIFICATES_IN" "INTO" "IT_CERTIFICATES"
but the compiler says "Global Definitions Field "P_CERTIFICATES_IN" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement . . . . . .".
Why can't the Smartform "see" P_CERTIFICATES_IN?

New User--Tbl 1 row print on change Tbl2 row print always

I am trying to generate a report from the test director database. The report structure is:
Table 1 has 2 columns (description for table 2) and table 2 has 3 columns. I want table 2 data to print always but only want table 1 data to print when it changes. I am able to get a lot of different results but not the one I am looking for. I am just not sure how to structure the tags around the elements to get the print I need.

As for the .rtf. Not sure how to attach here. But table 1 contains TS_NAME and TS_DESCRIPTION which should only print when it changes and table to contains
DS_STEP_NAME, DS_DESCRIPTION and DS_EXPECTED.
I have put one tag at the beginning of table 1 TS_NAME Which looks like

Unable to format print field on Smart Form

Hello,
I have a problem trying to format a print field so that it displays correctly.
The field in question is a display of a percentage (KOMVD-KBETR).
I currently have the following in a Program node:
IF NOT <KO>-KBETR IS INITIAL.
WRITE <KO>-KBETR CURRENCY <KO>-KOEI1 TO GV_KBETR .
ELSE.
CLEAR GV_KBETR.
ENDIF.
GV_KBETR has to be a character field for the WRITE to work. However if I use GV_KBETR in my TEXT node it appears some of the formatting options don't work on character fields. The one in question is (<)
I created a variable GV_KBETR_DISP type KBETR and added GV_KBETR_DISP = GV_KBETR to the program node above. Thisformats fine on the smartform. However using this setup I occasionally get an error when executing the smartform which I diagnosed that the GV_KBETR_DISP = GV_KBETR statement doesn't handle the data correctly if the data has a space in it.
Has anybody got any suggestions I could use to get round this problem?

Why can't you use the field - KOMVD-KBETR to display ?
IF you want to map the currency to this currency format, then you can simply add it in the Gloabal defnition -> Currency / Qty fields tab.
If you do not want to display the initial value, then you can use the text formatting option
&symbol(I)& Suppress output of the initial value

How can I use more lines to show a field of a row in a report? Table A have two columns: (c1 number(5),c2 varchar2(1000)).When I show the table on a report,the column c2 show itself in one row.So the width of html page is very wide.How can I split the field c2 to many lines?

I was wondering if an answer was found for this one.
I have the same problem using the default "Look 4" template for the region. I have found in the CSS file where it is defined and it specifies "nowrap" in the style, which is why the long value is not being split over multiple lines.
So, my question is, without modifying or creating templates, is there a way to override the "nowrap" attribute from within the item definition? e.g. in the Column Attributes.Column Formatting.CSS Style field. I had some success changing the display properties, such as background colour and font size but I can't seen to override the nowrap attribute!

Missing class indicator field from database row

Hi,
I have following problem :
There is a class inheritance with root interface and 4 subclasses, they are initialized with class indicator field. If I use ReadAllQuery with an interface or some of concrete class as search class - it is working perfect, but if I try to build query with custom selected fields (addPartialAttribute) I always get an error - Missing class indicator field from database row.
AFAIK This field have not to be mapped in Workbench to real table column, how can I tell TopLink that I will read this indicator field too by reading some custom fields ? I thought TopLink reads such fields automatically, like it does it with primary keys.

This sounds like an issue with our partial attribute queries and inheritance as the type indicator column must always be read. Can you map the type indicator to a read-only attribute (mark mapping as read-only) and include this in your list of attributes as a work-around?

PDFMaker ignores pdfmarks in Word 2013 PRINT fields

I've updated from Word 2003 to Word 2013.
I'm using PDFMaker of Acrobat XI.
My Word documents contain PRINT fields with pdfmark instructions.
These instructions were processed correctly when I used PDFmaker
in Word 2003 to create PDF documents.
They are NOT processed now when I use PDFmaker in Word 2013.
Note: My pdfmarks are processed correctly when I print to Adobe PDF
from Word 2013, which I take to mean that Word options are set correctly.
Is this a known bug?

are created by my two software combinations.
What works:
Acrobat XI with Word 2003
Application: Acrobat PDFMaker 11 for Word
PDF Producer: Acrobat Distiller 11.0 (Windows)
What doesn't work:
Acrobat XI with Word 2013
Application: Acrobat PDFMaker 11 for Word
PDF Producer: Adobe PDF Library 11.0
The PDF Producer explains it. Without your help,
I would have wasted (even) more time with futile tests.

SAPscript printing (Works Fine in Preview, Disappear in Print Out)

i have a problem in SAPscript printing, especially i use ULINE(90) inside forms, it's works fine in Preview, but when i print it out after 89 of ULINE showed, it's show blank area and the 90th uline appear in next line.
any expert in this area can tell me what happen?

Hi Howard,
this is printer problem.
Appart from regular settings we have left margin and right margin settings for printer.
If you rememmber we can do this setting if we print MS WORD document.
There is no setting available in SAP.
So solution is to increase right margin on your laout and try to fit your contents in same.
The preview is dependening on device type in SAP so u get previeew right.

Some fields in form not printing but do print when printing fields only

Hope that someone can help with this. I have filled in some forms (supplied by a third party) and when I print these forms the content of some fields are printed, and some are not. I have found out that if I cut a field's content, then paste into the same field, then tab out of the field, then the field content will be printed. I have about 20 of these forms with a lot of fields, so I would prefer another solution ;-)
The strange thing is, when I choose to print fields only (I have Dutch version of Acrobat, not sure if it has that exact name in English) ALL fields are printed correctly!
I have scanned the forums and tried several printing options, including printing as image.
I have tried using Acrobat 8.1.6 Standard on Windows (at the office) and the latest Acrobat Reader on both Ubuntu Linux and Mac OSX (at home) with the same results.
Any suggestions?

The first time I chatted with iTunes support they ended it by giving me 2 free song downloads. No offense, but I don't want to download anything but what I've already paid for. The second person to help me through email support gave me 6 free song downloads. This is frustrating because neither can offer a solution to why iTunes says 6 of this album's tracks are downloaded to my computer and won't allow me to redownload them... BUT on another device I can redownload the album in its entirety. That sounds like a very technical question that I just don't think they train their support staff to handle.
So, does anyone know how I can get this computer to UNRECOGNIZE these songs as downloaded, thus allowing me to download the full album to this computer?!

SAPScript - Print Preview 2 Pages - Physical Print overlap as 1 Page

I have a problem with Invoice SAPScript Printing - where the print preview is good with 2 Pages,
But when it physical prints out - Only 1 page and overlapping the Second page content to the first.
Any idea where did I miss out?

Sheelesh is right.
I had both SAPScript and Smartform issue with the overlapping printing.
What you need to do is to check your page format to see if it is the correct size for the specific printer.
If it is too big for the printer paper size - it will overlap the printing as 1 page.
For example : A4 Lanscape printing on normal HP Laser Printer - DINA4 Landscape should be used.
Or at least when you define your own page format - refer to the correct size and orientation.
