Satellite 1000-Z2: I need a driver for the display and the LAN

I have reformatted my laptop S1000-Z2, and I am having real trouble trying to find any information on this model !
Basically I need a driver for the display, and the LAN ?

What OS do you use???
If you use the XP you will not find the LAN driver on the recommended driver site!
I can not give you any advices where to find such driver because I dont know what LAN card is installed in your oldie.
But why you dont check this yourself? Try to find out what LAN card you use and googel a little bit for compatible applications ;)

I bought a *Toshiba Satellite Pro Model L50-B05D psktaa-05d001*.
I needed a new machine as I was starting a new job the next day.
During an install off office 2013 the machine in one of its reboots had a catastrophic error.. and refused all recovery attempts. around 19:00 at night...
I needed an operational machine for work...the next day
I pulled out my Windows 7 and proceeded to reconfigure machine and install Windows 7.. The Machine is operational BUT I cannot get the Wireless LAN functioning... for the Model I have there does NOT appear to be a Wireless lan driver...
The network card functions BUT not wireless LAN..
Can anyone please advise what is the correct Wireless LAN driver for the machine...

Your notebook Satellite L50-B05D belongs to the PSKTAA series and this series was released in Australia only.
But the similar notebook series Satellite L50-B PSKTAE was released in Europe.
Therefore the drivers from Toshiba EU driver page should be compatible.

I dont know which exactly notebook you has because there are many Satellite A60-xxx but I assume most of them have the same hardware configuration.
The fact is that the on this unit the Compact Flash card slot, smard card reader, SD-card slot are not available. You can use only a PCMCIA cards.

HT4773 Need a driver for the new wired keyboard on OSX 10.6.7

I use Snow Leopard 10.6.7 with new wired keyboard. Some keys does not work, ex. volume keys.

I don't think that will do the trick, at least not by itself, if the post date is anything to go by (2007).
The specs for the latest Apple Extended keyboard clearly say it requires 10.6.8, so the answer is to run the 10.6.8 combo.

Need driver for iPod video and Windows Vista

I had an iPod video and it synched no problem to my computer. There was a hardware issue inside the iPod so i sent it back and got a new one. Now when I connect it to my computer, it brings up the looking for a driver window and says it can't find it. Its only been a week since it worked fine.. I don't know if there is an issue with the new iTunes or what but has anyone had any experience with this issue or can simply tell me where to directly download or find the driver?

According to Apple Support's list of supported printers, yours is supported in Mountain Lion.
How is it connected to your Mac, Lena? If it's connected via USB (and I know nothing about this printer) you should be able to go to System Preferences --> Printers and Fax and click on the "+" button. It should pop up in the left hand pane, where all you'd then have to do is select it and add it. It would then load the appropriate drivers.
Some people have reported they have to reboot their Mac in order to get their printer to show up in the list.

Need Printer driver for F4240 on Vista

I've been using this printer for years with no trouble. All of a sudden, it stopped working. My system said it needed a driver. For the life of me, I cannot find one. The installation disk that came with the printer does no good. None of the HP assisting utilities does any good for locating a driver. Can somebody PLEASE help me? I don't have time to investigate, purchase, and install another printer. I need a driver for the F4240 now. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Hello , and welcome to the HP Forums! I see you're having issues regarding your drivers. I would like to help! Do you have any issues making a copy? I'd recommend starting with a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.

Satellite L450D - Need Wireless driver for Linux system

Hi,
I have a satellite L450D, with a Realtek RTL8191SE wireless card (windows 7). I use Linux for college and i can't get on the internet when i use linux cause the oporating system dose not find my wireless card.
When i check from command line for wireless cards, it shows that there are non.
I know other people that had this problem and basically i need a driver for it.
Can any one let me know what driver i need or where to get it? I would really appriciate this as i need to use Linux for college.

I googled a little bit and found some tips in the internet.
It seems that there is no Linux driver for Realtek WLan card rtl8191se and rtl8192se.
Bu someone has managed the WLan installation by installing ndiswrapper from synaptic in Ubuntu + GUI. He downloaded the W2K driver net8192se.sys and net8192se.inf.
The W2k driver work but the combination driver W2Kxp or the xp or vista doesnt work.
After that you can use WPA because WEP encryption is not supported

Need swappable CD rom drive for the Satellite 230CX

After hours trawling the net, I still haven't found the part number for the swappable cdrom drive for the Satellite 230CX.
Sadly a couple of sites say it's the PA2659U / XM-1402B, so I bought one from eBay, and it doesn't fit!
Any help would be appreciated with either the straight answer or a pointer to a parts list.

I dont found any information about this notebook.
But usually it should be possible to order the supported and compatible CD rom part from the Toshiba service partner in your country.

Is there any newer driver for the alps touchpad on Windows 7 64-bit than the 7.5.303.117?
The driver was made for Windows Vista not Windows 7, so it didn't work well on my Notebook!
It's very slow a startup and the first few seconds I can't move my mouse pointer.

Since the touchpad driver does not depend on notebook model you could use touchpad driver released for any notebook model
Please take a look into other Toshiba notebook driver areas.
But to be honest I doubt that mentioned touchpad behaviors are real touchpad driver bugs.
First of all its nothing unusual that an applications (no matter what application) would need some time to load at the beginning of the boot procedure it depends on the amount of applications which are loaded at the beginning
So wait a moment until the touchpad software has finished loading process and then use the touchpad

The notebook seems to support Realtek Wlan card RTL8191SE.
You can find the drivers here:

In order to install this you have firstly download the driver package, then unzip the package.
In the driver package the exe file should be available. Execute this exe file and the installation should proceeds.

Satellite A135-SP4088: Need XP drivers for power management and Hotkey utility

I couldn't find drivers for the toshiba A135-SP4088, we bought 3 of them for the office and it's almost impossible to use with vista, so we go to XP SP2, and manage to get almost all of the drivers from other models, but i cannot find 2 utilities that work with this machine, they are:
Toshiba Power Management (the bulb in the task bar, remember?) :D
Hotkey Utility (so I can change Screen brightness, and go to hibernation (Fn+F4)
I have al the rest working, quite nicely but these two are a real problem, none of the ones I tested worked, some even crash the XP and have to go back to a previous restore point.
also, I didn't install any ACPI drivers, are they required?, which ones show I look for? since the model doesn't exist in csd.toshiba.com site.
Now, How one of the greatest notebooks manufacturers in the world can build such a nice computer without making drivers for the most widely used operating system?, can anyone explain me this because i sincerely don't understand it.

The Satellite A135-SP4088 seems to be designed for the US market so you should use the Toshiba US driver page for the driver download!!!!
But why you need the Toshiba power saver for XP? The XP supports an own power options and also the hibernation option. This option must be enabled in the control panel -> power options -> hibernate tab

Toshiba page does not provide any special ACPI drivers. The OS uses own Microsoft drivers and the installation of any 3rd applications is not necessary!!!!

If I were you I would take look to the Drivers Download site of the Toshiba mainpage, because there you can find everything you need.
The mass storage controller can either be the HDD controller or the SD-card controller. I would download both of them.

Need signed driver for HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT20F

I have a Satellite A505-S6005 with Windows 7. A while back I unwittingly installed Service Pack 1. After installing it my Logitech wireless mouse and the internal DVD Drive (in subject line) stopped working. I have exhausted the troubleshooting recommendations provided by Microsoft. Eventually the Logitech mouse began working again (it must have downloaded an update from Microsoft), but I have never been able to get the system to recognize the DVD drive again. I have tried Microsofts Fix It, as well as unistalling the Service Pack and re-installing to no avail. The only way I have found to restore the DVD Drive is to unistall the Service Pack.
I have tried, as suggested on this forum, to modify the registry settings for the DVD Drive (didn't work), and update the Chipset drivers (installed all 3 - didn't work). The Bios version is current.
According to Microsoft the Error Code - 52 indicates that the device driver on the computer is unsigned now after the Service pack installed. The driver it wants to use is provided by Microsoft - 2006.
I've changed the boot order to access the DVD Drive first and it does spin up and access it when booting up but it still does not show up under Computer, just the harddrive is shown.
Since Windows wants to use their driver for the DVD Drive and it looks like they didn't update it or overlooked it when they issued the Service Pack is there a way around this???
Is there a separate device driver for this DVD Drive that Toshiba can provide as it appears Microsoft won't address it - I've tried with them...
It's really frustrating not having a working DVD Drive and I don't think I should have to buy an external drive because of a forced Software update...

Need a driver for Acrobat Distiller 5.0.0.0 that will work on Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit. Where can I find it, and what file is it? (Yes, it's an old Distiller that came with Acrobat 5. So shoot me. But I do need the driver.)

If I find the original Acrobat 5 CD, which .inf would it be?

There is no .inf file on the Acrobat 5 CD that you can use to create a “driver.” If Distiller 5 even installs and runs on Windows 7 x64, the plumbing that came with Acrobat 5 to automatically feed PostScript files created by the PostScript driver to Distiller simply won't work with modern versions of Windows or any 64-bit version of Windows.
FWIW, Acrobat 5 is five full versions back from the current version. And no, we won't shoot you; you are effectively doing that to yourself! Your time must be worth something?!?!
