Scanner software problem.

Hi to everyone. I just bought this printer and I've got a problem with the scanner software.
Can I scan all the document I want and after save them all together? From the sofware it seems that's possible, but when I do a new scan it delete the photo that it has already acquired. To keep it I must save it and then it closes the sofware, returning to the hp solution center.
Please help me!

If you have any antivirus or firewall programs on your computer, please temporarily disable them and then try to launch MP Navigator again. Sometimes these programs can block the scanning process of the printer. If you still have difficulty opening MP Navigator, we can remove a file/icon on your computer named "My Websites on MSN" to see if this will resolve the issue. To do this, please follow these steps:
1. Click 'Start' and then 'Computer'.
2. On the left-hand pane, click the down arrow beside Local Disk (C).
3. Click the down arrow beside Users to open the folder.
4. Click the down arrow beside your username (for example Joe).
5. Click the down arrow beside the AppData (Application Data) folder.
6. Click the down arrow beside Roaming.
7. Click the down arrow beside Microsoft.
8. Click the down arrow beside the Windows folder.
9. Click the down arrow beside Network Shortcuts folder.
10. Locate an icon named My Web Sites on MSN.
11. Right-click on My Web Sites on MSN and select 'Delete'.
After performing this process, attempt to scan. If you still receive the same error after removing the file, or if the file does not exist, we can try to temporarily remove files from a folder called TWAIN 32 that may be causing a conflict with the MP Navigator program to try and resolve the issue. To do this, please follow these steps:
1. Go to Computer / My Computer and locate the C: drive, then double-click on it to open.
2. Locate the WINDOWS folder, then double-click to open it.
3. Locate the TWAIN_32 folder, then double-click to open it.
4. Inside of the TWAIN_32 folder, you will see a folder for your PIXMA MP250 printer as well as a WIATWAIN.DS file. If there are other files in that folder, you will want to move them to another location, preferably your Desktop by doing the following:
4-1. Click on each of the other items in the folder other than the the WIATWAIN.DS file and PIXMA MP250 folder to select them. You will want to hold the the CTRL key on your keyboard while selecting each of the items until all of the items except for the two referenced above are selected. Please be sure to leave the WIATWAIN.DS file and PIXMA MP250 folder inside of the TWAIN_32 folder.
4-2. With all of the items you want to move selected, please go to the EDIT menu and select the CUT option.
4-3. Go to your Desktop (main window that comes up when you start Windows with all of the icons on it) and right-click your mouse in any blank area, then choose the PASTE option. The items you selected from the TWAIN_32 folder should appear on the Desktop.
5. Try to launch and scan using MP Navigator again.

Scanner driver Problem with - Windows 8.1 and HP AIO L7680

Hi folk,
i have a problem with my HP AIO L7680.
I have made an upgrade to Windows 8.1 x64
I install the actual driver version 14.8.0.
The printer runs but the scanner makes trouble.
When i will start a scan process i will get an error message and the scan process will be canceled.
I will get this error message with photoshop, HP Solution Center and any other scanner software.
The HP Print and Scan Doctor says i should contact the support.
Here i am any idea?
By the way i disabled my Antivirus Software during the installation.

I understand that you are having an issue with scanning after upgrading to Windows 8.1. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue. I just need a little more information. What operating system are you running on your computer? Are you connecting wireless or with a USB cable? What is the error message that you are getting?
I am including this document for A 'No Scan Options' or 'Scan settings are not set' Message Displays on the All-in-One there are trouble shooting steps for Windows 8 that will work for Windows 8.1.

How do I REINSTALL LaserJet 200 Scanner software to a DIFFERENT drive?

I have a Laserjet 200 M276nw. For some reason Drive D: got corrupted and I cannot either uninstall or install to this drive any longer. Drive D: is an extension to Drive C:. It is on this drive D: that the original printer software resided.
My scanner has stopped worrking saying is cannot communicate. So I reinstalled the latest drivers and everything there went fine until I noticed I have no scanner. I have the scanner software HPPrntScnDR which tries to reinstall at Drive D: with no options to do otherwise afetr 7 attempts. All my other HP software now resides on C:.
So how do I get the scanner only to work and/or install/reinstall so it also resides on C: ?

I read your post, which indicates that you are unable to install the printer software back onto the C drive.
I can help you with this.
Run the Microsoft Fix It Tool to see if it will fully uninstall the old software. Since some of the install is defaulting to the D drive, most likely because the original files are still in the registry.
If you are using Windows 7 or lower. Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled.
If you are using Windows 8, run the troubleshooting built into the operating system.
You can run a checkdsk on the computer. Using Check Disk.
Here is a document for uses disk management. Disk Management.
You might have to manually go into the registry and take out the HP software.
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.

HP scanner software crash

I have a HP Scanjet 4850. Scanner software crashes as it reaches the final part of the scan. The scanner has become temperamental gradually since I bought it new one and a half years ago. Problems include software unable to intialize, the mouse becoming 'jittery' then freezing and the programme crashing. I have reset the scanner, uninstalled and reinstalled the software, checked cable connections and used a different computer USB port to no avail. Scanner software is Scan Pro 8.4. I have also ask for help in the HP scanner forum but no replies.

HP support suggested I do an ordinary uninstall, repair permissions then download software from their site. This was unsuccessful. I then tried a manual uninstall, using instructions provided by HP, and re-installed with software from HP site. Again unsuccessful. Maybe try with software from CD?

The last report about "The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device" - does this mean there is a USB problem? I have 'Googled' this report and a lot of people have this problem with various devices plugged in to the USB. I didn't find a report about scanners. Through lack of technical expertise I had difficulty understanding problem solving suggested, also wondered if these suggestions relevent to HP scanners.

Deskjet 1515 scanner software can't be installed

I'm Mark and i recently purchased an all-in-one printer model HP Deskjet 1515 and currently having a problem installing the provided software. It says my operating system is currently not supported. Although I did made some progress installing the basic drivers, the scanner software can't be installed. I am using Windows Server 2012 64bit as operating system. Before I switched to HP I was using Epson printer and I didn't have any problems installing its drivers and scanner software.
I hope I'd hear some advice or any workarounds you guys might have in this known situations.

My Canon MP Navigator scanner software no longer detects multiple photos on the platen - help! I have scanned thousands of old photos over the last few months without problem. I scanned several full pages from photo albums right before this problem began. I wonder if there is some sort of memory which is not being cleared. I have researched everything I can findto no avail. Any ideas?

I'm not familiar with this software, but if your scanner is supported, you can achieve this task via Preview.app.

I believe your model would fall under the MX880 series, and if that's correct, you'll be all set once you learn Preview's way of scanning.

HP 7400c scanner software only works on initial admin account

I have G4 desktop on which I am setting up individual accounts to use an HP 7400c scanner. Now, the very first admin account I used to set the machine up and from which I created all accounts works perfectly with the HP provided scanner software drivers and programmes (HP Precision Scan Pro 3.3). However, when I log in as one of the other users (regardless of whether I have made that user an "admin" or not), the scanning programme crashes.
This seems like some kind of permissions problem, and while I have played around with changing permissions and so on, the same thing keeps occurring. I also tried installing the HP scanner software in a local user's application folder -- but the HP disc won't allow this: one can only proceed with installation of software by entering an admin user name and pwd, and the disc seems only willing to install the application in the main top level Applications folder.
Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

I retract my question. It wasn't a permissions problem after all.
Not surprisingly, the problem turned out to be
the HP software which set up a Scanjet manager as a login application on those sub-accounts, leading the actual Precision Scan application to crash. Removing that from the login items in the Accounts preference pane solved the problem. Now, I simply have to figure out how to make the machine scan when I want it to do an OCR!

Hie, I'm using an all in one HP deskjet 2050 (J510 series) on windows 7 software. I have installed the requred HP software onto my laptop so all required drivers are installed. Printing works fine. However the scanner software will not even load when I try to make use of the scanner. Someone help please as I really need to make use of the scanning function

IBook won't recognize Epson 1660 scanner software

I can't get my iBook to recognize the scanner software to the Epson 1660 scanner. I saw this topic posted in February but no replies. Has anyone figured out why this problem exists? The driver is for OS 10.3x which is what I'm running on this iBook G4. Thanks, Cari Ferraro

make sure its plugged into the usb port and not into the airport express port.
had same problem with a brother printer. Only recognizes scanner software/printer utilities etc when the printer is plugged directly into the computer via usb.
can still print to printer when plugged into airport extreme via wireless but no access to scanner functions, fax, printer utilities etc.

Kernel panic but software problem

Kernel panic (the "You have to restart your computer" message at startup) is said to come from hardware problems but this seems to be a software problem - maybe somebody can help me!
It started slowly with the fans coming on more often than ususally. Then, I had some kernel panics at startup, usually after two or three false stars, the system would load. Hardware Test said everything was OK, Disc Utility corrected a few permission errors, but the problem persisted. I tried everything: Disconnecting everything, removing PCI card, you name it, nothing helped.
Only thing that did help was start over. "Archive and install" was not good enough, I had to start from zero. Which means that all my iTunes library and all the rest waas lost. Made a disc image on an external HD and went for it.
After that, I upgraded to 10.4.11 and tried the migration assistant. Left some of the programs out from the old installation, but took my Documents folder with me. Imported my iTunes library and iPhoto pictures. Until then, everything was perfect. After that point, the fan started its strange behavior again, and today guess what: You have to restart your c.!
So it must have to do with the programs and data that I imported, and not hardware. Have no idea though - anyone run into similar problems?
Apart from standard apps, the only thing I use is Cubase but I haven´t touched it for a long time.

Hi, thanks for your reply! I am now trying to rebuild everything using 10.4.7 ... seems the driver for the audio card (m-audio) was at least causing problems. I´ll see if it was the only one. I did the system updates whenever they popped up in software update but there wasn´t even a driver available for 10.4.11.

HT4060 My first generation Ipad won't allow me to charge it by the mains socket. This was a replacement as my origional Ipad had a software problem. I have rebooted it a number of times but still not charging. Any advice?

My Ipad 3G has decided not to charge. I have been using the same charger that came with it which worked perfectly until a few days ago. I have even tried to charge it using my incar charger, but it still won't charge up. This Ipad is a replacement as my first one had software problems, so I am hoping this can get fixed and not result in another replacement.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). MacBook Pro 13" Early 2011 Backlight Keyboard Not Working?! Software Problem...

So my "MacBook Pro 13" Early 2011" backlight keyboard hasn't been working. I have tried LabTick today, doesn't fix anything. Even in high or low lighting situations (dispite the Adjust keyboard brightness in low light being off) doesn't like to go on. It doesn't give me a circle with a cross like it does with that box checked in day light. It shows on the screen the
16 dots fully light after hitting F6 fully, just it doesn't light up. I one time had to reset my Mac OS at the Apple Store, it fixed the problem, but when I restored with a time machine backup, it went back to this software problem. How can I fix this?! What is wrong with my OS? Mountain Lion? How can I fix this?!

If it does not detect the display automatically, try going to system preferences>displays, click detect displays.
