Scenario Export /Import Issue: Import file error

The Procedure scenario when I am trying to import in higher environment, it is giving me error " Import file error" and when I click on Details, it shows following message.
I am trying to import scenario with INSERT/UPDATE mode and trying to replace with the same version. The scenario is executing fine in dev environment. What could be the cause. I have tried importing the same, 2-3 times ...even on different days with connecting and disconnecting the repository. What could be the reason. I am exporting the scenario from designer/procedure/scenario. using same option, I have exported the scenario many times but did not get any issue so far while importing into higher environment

I'm trying to import a text file into a tabular model in SSDT

I have office 2013 32bit installed. Will not uninstall this as I need it.
How do I import a csv file into the tabular model?
i've downloaded both 32 and 64 bit access redistributables from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=39358
64 bit refuses to install (already have 32bit office tools installed)
32 doesn't stop the error - i'd assume i'd already have the correct 32 bit drivers installed since i have the full office 2013 suite installed.
I've looked at some of the other topics around and they are either unanswered or the poster didn't have office installed so could install 64bit redist

  • D90 Import Issue - RAW file corrupted

    Hi Everyone,
Since moving from my Nikon D60 to a Nikon D90, I've been experiencing issues importing RAW (NEF) files into Aperture. Most pictures will transfer fine, but some will be corrupted. The corruption occurs regardless of source (from card reader or directly from camera) and is not deterministic (will import photo correctly one time and not the second time around). I have verified that this corruption is at the master level and not preview, since I can see the corruption displaying the image in a different application. I have not run into this problem using applications such as Picasa. Below are links to two example photos of the corruption. Has anyone experienced this too? (I am running Aperture with all updates installed)
    http://home.comcast.net/~brycerocket/apertureissue.jpg
    http://home.comcast.net/~brycerocket/apertureissue2.jpg

Are you perhaps importing directly into Aperture? I feel pretty strongly that card-to-Aperture or camera-to-Aperture handling of original images puts originals at unnecessary risk. I suggest this workflow from an earlier post of mine, first using the Finder (not Aperture) to copy images from CF card to computer hard drive:
    • Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into a memory card reader. Faster readers and faster cards are preferable.
    • Finder-copy images from memory card to a labeled folder on the intended permanent Masters location hard drive.
    • Eject memory card.
    • Burn backup hard drive or DVD copies of the original images (optional strongly recommended backup step).
    • Eject backup hard drive(s) or DVDs.
    • From within Aperture, import images from the hard drive folder into Aperture selecting "Store files in their current location." This is called "referenced images." During import is the best time to also add keywords, but that is another discussion.
    • Review pix for completeness (e.g. a 500-pic shoot has 500 valid images showing in Aperture).
    • Reformat memory card in camera, and archive originals off site on hard drives and/or on DVDs.
Note that the "eject" steps above are important in order to avoid mistakenly working on removable media/backups.
Also note with a Referenced-Masters Library that use of the "Vault" backup routine backs up the Library only, not the Masters. Masters should be separately backed up, IMO a good thing from a workflow and data security standpoint.

I am not clear with this point
    - Is the file FTP transferred? Then the possibility is that you used ASCII as transfer mode where BINARY is needed
What i need to do then?.. I need to ask a new dump file with BINARY transfer mode ?Yes.

  • Importing Library .XML File Error

Ok, So I had to do a System recovery on my Gf's computer ( windows vista 32 bit). I transfered all computer data and iTunes libray to an external hard drive.
Now when trying to import the iTunes playlist from the .XML file I get a message that reads " Some of the songs in the file ""iTunes Library .XML"" were not imported becuse they could not be found. The playlists will still show up in iTunes but they are all empty showing no songs in.
How can I find a list of what the songs are in each playlist in th .XML file so that I can rebuild the playlist?
When looking at the .XML file in IE I do see what appears to be all songs listed along with track id #'s but they are within a bunch of other coding.
Is there any other way to view all the songs that are attach to each playlist so that I can rebuild the paylists?
What I believe happen was the music files got moved around when the tranfer happened, so now it thinks they are gone but really the song files are just in another spot.
    Any help would be great!
    Thanks!

When you did a File-o>Library->Export Library operation on your old iTunes a 'Library.xml' file was created.
Part of that files looks like:
            <dict>
                <key>Track ID</key><integer>1512</integer>
                <key>Name</key><string>More Than a Feeling</string>
                <key>Artist</key><string>Boston</string>
......bunch of xml elements deleted for clarity.....
                <key>Location</key><string>file://localhost/C:/Users/Jimmy%20O/Music/iTunes/iTu nes%20Media/Boston/Boston/01%20More%20Than%20a%20Feeling.m4p</string>
            </dict>
The location of your song is in the <key>Location</key> portion of the file. In this case it is:
    <string>file://localhost/C:/Users/Jimmy%20O/Music/iTunes/iTunes%20Media/Boston/B oston/01%20More%20Than%20a%20Feeling.m4p</string>
If your song file is located somewhere else just correct the path to the file in the Library.xml file and re-import it with File->Library->Imort Playlist...
The '%20' in the path is just an encoding for a ' ' (space character).
Hopefully the path has just changed for all your songs and you can do a global replace.

  • Import Issue: Unreadable File(s)

    Hi there,
I have had no problems at all with iPhoto 08 thus far however, I am still new to Mac's... have been using since November 07.
Anyway, I have just imported a bunch of photo's into iPhoto from my HD - not a digital camera. All but one of them came through just fine but one of them produces an error message:
Unreadable Files - The following could not be imported (the import failed).
I have no idea why as this photo is part of a sequence. There is nothing different about this photo to the others and I have even tried renaming it several times but still cannot import this particular photo into my library.
    Any thoughts??
    Cheers.

    Nicjasp:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try the following: open the file with Preview and do an Save As. Select jpg as the format and give is a new name. Import the new file (with fingers crossed). See if that will give you a usable file.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • AE CS4 Is no longer importing my mpeg files - error 86: 1

    Hello,
This is really weird. As of yesterday my HD mpeg files imported and played just fine in After Effects. Today I went to import a new clip (that I just captured in Premiere CS4) and it gave me error 86:1 saying it is an unsupported format, when it isn't.
I have over 20 AE projects that contain mpeg clips from my camera, none of these projects will open any of these clips as of today. Every project I open gives me error after error saying this clip and that clip are unsupported then it says the clips are missing footage.  Yesterday everything was fine but today not so good.
Does anyone know what the hell is going on here?
I am on a Mac running the latest version of Leopard. I installed the 10.5.8 update a few days ago and these mpegs have opened in AE since then.So I am ruling that out
Other than that everything else has been normal. As I said, yesterday these mpeg clips were working fine. Now they are not.
any advice anyone can offer is appreciated.
    Aloha,
    ~ 0

well shortly after posting the same problem started happening with Premiere as well, except Premiere would tell me the pixel dimensions were to large on the footage (??1920x1080 too big)anyway, I uninstalled and then reinstalled both AE and Premiere and repaired my disk permissions again and everything is okay now. Wheeeeew. was praying I did not have to reinstall my os.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong or is there a workaround because I will still get windows files from the DVD-harddrive.
    Any help is welcome

    Hi Thomas:
    Welcome to discussions!
iMovie does not work with muxed MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 clips (and that's what you're trying to do)
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=42996
    You'll need:
MPEG Streamclip 1.5.1 (free) and the MPEG-2 Playback Component ($20 from Apple).

  • Import issue: Native files 1920x1080 @ 24 fps to FCE - No Codec available

Love this forum. I have learned a lot on here thanks to you tech-smart people
Searching this and other forums I can not find a clear answer to my compression import situation below:
1st, why the heck is their no codec in Final Cut Express for 24 frames per second?
Question: And since there is none, which of the HD Apple Intermediate Codec settings do I choose for FCE ‘Easy Setup’ selection?
The closest one seems to be HD Apple Intermediate Codec 1920 x 1080i60 for source material @ 29.97 fps … Will that work even though my source files are 24 fps? (I have no red render line using that choice)
Or is there a better suggestion? How important is this to my overall quality?
I am not making movies for YouTube—I am aiming at Full HD theatre quality final product for clients (Yeah shoulda got the FC-Pro . So I need to be sure I import, edit and finalize movie projects in Full-HD, as far as I understand it all.
    My Specs:
    - In US
    - Shooting MOV. clips w/audio using Canon D1 Mark IV
    - Native MOV. clips: Codec – H.264 Linear PCM / 1920x1080 @ 23.98 frames per second and 16.9 widescreen
    - MacBook Pro
    - 1 TB G-Raid external hard drive for scratch and movie files
    - To avoid having to render while editing I am converting all movie (H.264) clips using Squared-5 MPEG Streamclip app set for: Apple Intermediate Codec (with empty fps box)
    - Converted movie clips import to FCE at native 23.98 fps
I appreciate any suggestions about this, including one I already got from a friend, which was, “Buy Final Cut Pro”… My reply; “Spend all that money just to get five less frames per second!” … To Apple Corp.—add 24 fps to that FCE Codec list please!

    Thanks for that suggestion.
It makes me wonder how I find out if something like Streamclipping to 29.97 will actually work … What would be a good test of this? I mean I understand the principle and could adjust the FCE Easy Settings to match 29.97, but exactly what test could I do that would ensure I have a good or bad quality on a large screen? I am sure any major weirdness would stick right out but the less obvious aberrations may not.
… I can make a one-minute movie as a test but I only have a 23-inch workstation screen to view projects on, I wonder if that will be large enough to pinpoint resolution or codec-line problems. This project, or portions of it, may end up on both TV and theatre screens in the coming year.
You can tell I am new to FCE and the larger movie projects… I have been getting by fine with smaller projects using iMove—But I need to move up to the more serious programs and thought FCE would be a perfect stepping stone….
Furthermore, I am being extra careful on all of this because my movie project has recently become very large and will involve close to 160 gigabytes of raw movie clips… So I really need to lock-in a solid codec solution before Streamclipping that many gigs!
(Yes moving up one more step to Final Cut Pro would eliminate this problem But I am stubborn and would like to work with what I already have.
Thanks again, I appreciate your reply, I will give 29.97 a try,
    Leigh

There is a slight issue with the unix versions
If you use the exportsecurity utility it will create a file called :- secFile.txt
When you use the importsecurity utility it looks for a file called :- Secfile.txt
As it is case sensitive you have to update the exported secFile.txt

Any help on how do i provide the path to the file will be appretiated,
    Thanks in advance!

The import database is using the Essbase server's drive/folder/volume access, not your client's.
You're going to need to map that drive on the Essbase server side first.
There was a thread on this subject in the past one or two weeks -- search for it and all (well, all regarding the topic of mapping drives) will be revealed.
