Scenario Possibility

Hi -
I am not sure if this functionality is possible in SAP XI 2.0. If someone can help me with this quickly it would be of great help.
I wanted to know if it is possible to transfer a message from one Interface to Another.
The scenario is something like this:
I1(Out) -> M1 -> I2(In) -> M2 -> I3(Out) -> M3,M4 (Split) -> I4(In), I5(In)
I want to pass somedata from Interface I1 to I2 and from Interface I2 to I3 and then from I3 I want to split up the message to I4 and I5.
My problem is to pass the message from an Inbound Interface to an Outbound Interface.
In my receiver determination I want just define sender as I1 and receiver as I4 and I5.
Any comment would be of great help?

hi Ashish,
You have to use XI3.0, BPM to model your sceanrio.

  • JMS - PI - IDoc scenario: possible to disable check for duplicate JMS message ID?

    Dear all,
we have a scenario JMS - PI - IDoc. We are on 7.4 SP 7 AEX.
Once and again we get this error in PI Logs
    com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.core.channel.filter.InboundDuplicateCheckFilter.filter(MessageFilterContext filterCtx)
Duplicated and already processed JMS message with JMSMessageID ID:414d512053415050523120202020202053f0f4852000fb39 and XI message id b0beffdbcee64c2605779eaacf27b335 detected.
We are currently investigating the error and it seems that the duplicate message IDs already exist on the JMS (MQ) side. The messages with the same ID reside in the same queue but have different payloads, so really are different messages
While it's certainly true that we need to get rid of those duplicate IDs in the long run, I'd like to ask if it is possible to tackle the problem from both sides.
My sender JMS Adapter looks like this:
    Transactional JMS Session = Checked
Set PI Message ID (MessageID) to = GUID
Set PI conversation ID (ConversationID) to = No Value
    Enable Duplicate Handling = Unchecked
    Prefix Channel ID = Unchecked
--> Is there any way to tell PI to just ignore the duplicate JMS ID and continue processing?
    Many thanks
    Kind regards
    Jens

Hi Jens - Please have a look at the below note if it helps.
If you want the duplicate messages received from different channels (that is JMS Messages with the same Message ID) to be processed as a distinct JMS messages and not as duplicate messages, select Prefix Channel ID to JMS Message ID

  • Is synchronous scenario possible with JDBC & JMS adapter?

Suppose,JDBC adapter is updating a table or deleting some entry from a table. Can we have an acknowledgement back that the work has been done successfully??
same qstn for JMS adapter also..
Suppose JMS adptr is communicating with any messaging system, can we have acknowledgement back?

Jms Adapter supports Asynchronous scenarios only but If u want to use Synchronous then possible with Standard module beans :
For ex: JMS to Rfc synchronous scenario:
    In id:
Sender jms adapter supports Asynchronous scenarios so we have to use standard module beans in Module tab.
    Like :
    AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean -> 0
    CallSapAdapter
    AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean -> 1
    And Provide  values in configuration:
    0 -> passThrough -> true
1 -> receiverChannel ->provide RECEIVER JMS adapter name ( have to create one more JMS receiver communication channel for responce )
1 -> receiverService ->provide receiver adapter service name (that is  provide sender business component because need response for sender )

  • Scenario possibility in oracle database

    Hi,
I am furnishing the details of scenario which can be possible to done using oracle:
    Oracle Version : 11.2.0
    Domain : Healthcare
We have two different databases at different locations:
    Database1 Database2
    patindexmast patindexmast
    Primary Key : MRNO
If any record is inserted or updated in patindexmast table of database1
then the same record to be inserted or updated in patindexmast of Database2 .
Similarly if inserted in database2 then the same record
to be inserted or updated in patindexmast of Database1
In both the databases different series sequence for MRNO exists so there will be no duplication of MRNO.
Is this scenrio can be handled using oracle.

    Hi Sathya,
There should exists database link between the two databases.
And, Triggers cannot be used for this purpose, as a trigger in one database cause to Insert/Update and the
trigger in other database too fires the same Insert/Update, if triggers are used in both databases creating
    dead locks.

  • Is B/E ECC SoS in Local SRM PO in Classic Scenario Possible ( SRM7.0) ?

    Hi Experts,
    We are configuring SRM7.0 with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario .
Our Ultimate Aim is  - To maintain SoS in ONE system only (i.e. ECC) & use the same SoS in both ECC & SRM system, for all documents ( ECC PR, ECC PO, RM S/C, Local SRM POu2026etc )
In Classic Scenario, B/E ECC SoS ( Supplier Contract & Pur. Info Record) are proposing in S/C ( Indirect Mat.) , but these B/E SoS NOT proposing while creating u201CLocal SRM POu201D which is by default  Ext. Classic.
We  are exploring new CCTR functionality  ....but seems complicated and requiered PI...
1.By doing any enhancement , can we pull B/E ECC Contract and Pur. Info Record as a SoS while creating u201CLocal SRM POu201D  ?, If it is possible , then we are ready to do any enhnacement and I'll be most happy
    2. Which BADi is used while creating Local SRM PO ?
    Can anyone suggest/confirm please.
    Thanks
    NAP

    Hello,
In classic scenario, only backend contracts can be used as SOS.
In extended classic, local contracts can be adopted as SOS.
If you are using classic scenario, you should distribute local contracts to ECC. Then, while creating a shopping cart in classic scenario, ECC contracts (which have been distributed) will be considered as SOS.

  • Classic Scenario Possibility

    Hi Friends,
I am a first times for Classic Scenario implementation.
Can the below scenario is a Possibility in SRM
    1. SC creation
    2. SOCO
    3. RFX and Vendor Response
    4. Central contract in SRM and distributed to MM
    5. Release orders (PO) in MM with ref to Central COntract
    I have few Questions:
    1. What is the BSA attribute will be there in Classic
    2. Can we create initiate sourcing from SC in CLassic or every time we create SC, it will create PR in ECC.
    3. Can central contract be created locally in SRM and distributed in ECC (similar to Extended Classic)
Appreciate any help in this regard

I am not sure as I have to test this in system but i found this some where which needs to be checked.

  • Drill Down scenario possible?

    Hello Experts,
Please let me know if it is possible to achieve the following scenario. I am using a Pie chart to perform 4-5 drill downs.
    1. The Pie Chart has 2 sectors.
    2. When Sector 1 is clicked it drills down and spreads into 7-8 sectors.
    3. Now when one of these sectors are clicked, they even further drill down to 10-11 sectors each
    4. Similarly, Steps 2 and 3 are repeated when Sector 2 is clicked .
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    NImish

Yes it is possible as my knowledge.
you can do by drill down functionality of pie chart.

  • Is this transaction scenario possible?

Can anyone tell me if the following scenario is possible, and if so, how
it can be achieved? (I'm using WLS6.0 sp 1):
              1) From a Stateless Session EJB, start a UserTransaction.
              2) The SB then invokes methods on one or more Java helper objects (not
EJBs), each of which modifies one or more Entity EJBs.
              3) If any one of the helper objects throws an exception, rollback the
              transaction; otherwise, call UserTransaction.commit().
If an exception occurs, I would like the modifications made to all
Entity EJBs (modifications made via the different helper objects) to be
rolled back. I'm not sure how to achieve this, since the methods called
by the SB within the transaction are not methods on a resource manager,
such as a JBDC connection. I'd appreciate any suggestions!
              Thanks,
              Tim Perrigo

    Hi...
Is the transaction being called standard or custom? If it is custom, you can trigger an event on clicking 'save' and you can link this event to a workflow (transaction SWETYPV) and the work flow will start. The Approver and the WF steps seem to be possible in case if this is a custom transaction since you can create the master data in the workflow itself.
In case its a standard SAP transaction, then i think we may have a problem with delaying the commit till the workflow executes. You can still trigger the event in an exit and link it to the workflow, but you will need to find a way of delaying the master data creation till the approver approves it. If this is not going to be possible, i suggest you create a custom transaction, and follow the steps mentioned in the first paragraph and then call a BAPI / BDC in the workflow to create master data.
But your scenario looks very much possible and feasible to me.
    Does this help you?

    Raghav.

  • Skype Business - Is this scenario possible?

    Hi,
Good evening! I'm running a company based in Australia and I'm fairly new to telecommunications so I'd like to know a few things about Skype Business.
I'd like to know if this scenario is possible with Skype Business or any related information to this query.
I have a 1300-number (or a hotline) where anyone can just ring one or a universal number wherever they are in Australia. Now, let's say, a caller rings the 1300-number then that call would be transfered through Skype to be received by my virtual assistants overseas. So my virtual assistants only have to do is be online on Skype to be able to pick up any phone calls from Australia.
    Thank you in advance!

1-300 number? I don't think so, you may need to have a Skype online number.

  • Is this dynamic caching scenario possible with reverse proxy?

I'm considering using the Sun System Java Web Server as a reverse proxy in front of other SSJWS's running a java webapp. I'm creating a dynamic site where most of the pages change only occasionally. I'm wondering if the follow "dream compression/caching" scenario is possible:
    - Origin web servers have a set of high traffic dynamic pages that change only occasionally. Other pages (could be partition in subdirs) should not be cached.
    - These dynamic pages set cache and expires headers allowing browser and proxies to cache the content--say for hours or days. It's ok if users see a slightly stale page within this expiration period.
    - Reverse proxy caches these pages as if they were static files. They also create gzipped versions on the fly and cache those. When requests comes in for these specific pages, they are served straight from proxy cache (either compressed or uncompressed depending on request header.)
    - When the expiration date is reached, reverse proxy requests fresh pages from the origin server, creates a compressed version, and only servies these pages from cache.
    - A certain set of pages shouldn't be cached and will have appropriate headers. They will probably also be in different subdirectories.
Is it possible to use the reverse proxy as a self-updating cache this way? (And it it possible to proactively invalidate the cache. Let's say I change a page on the origin and I want the proxy to refresh that cached page right away.)
    Thank you,
    Armando

I see. Thank you, this is very helpful.
I've take taken a look at Web Proxy 4. It seems it can do much of what I'd like. One downside I see is that it seems to be quite a big tool with all of the forward proxying features that I don't need. I just need a transparent reverse proxy/cache, so it would have been nice if the reverse proxy provided by Sun Web Server offered some of the caching features of Web Proxy 4.
Does Web Proxy 4 share code with Web Server? I haven't any seen any buzz, blogs, etc about it as I have with Sun Web Server. I see it now has a "modern HTTP core" and such but is performance on par with Web Server? (There are no trumpeted world records, and I don't see any architecture details, such as the ability to leverage event ports on Solaris...)
It looks like Web Proxy 4 can be configured as a reverse proxy to do sticky load balancing, caching with interval checks, and on the fly gzip compression. Can it: cache both a compressed and uncompressed version of the content? Run other filters on the content before caching, such as the sed content trip filter? I haven't really seen anything out there that can do all that. If this is possible, then Web Proxy 4 deserves more buzz!
If anyone has any good or bad experience using Web Proxy as a reverse proxy, I'd love to hear it!
    Cheers!
    Armando

  • Is this scenario possible?

My company is in the process of determing whether OAS InterConnect would be useful to us. We currently have several fixed file formats (different formats) that we get from external sources. This data needs to be put into a "holding area" until several business processes need their own subsets of the data based on a supplied key.
Is this possible with this product?
Can InterConnect work with flat files?
Can I exposed procedures that my application can call to get the necessary data at will?
    Thanks for any input.

  • Is This Porting Scenario Possible?

I saw the other post that was similar to this, and it didn't answer my question.
I was wondering if it is possible to port out my main line's phone number to Ring Central (since I use my main FS line as my main business line), and have Verizon reassign me a new number (for my main line on the FS account) without getting charged a ETF?
Can the porting department make a note on the account so once the main number is ported, it will be replaced with a new number? That way I will not be charged an ETF since I still want to continue my service (just split my business number into a new service to separate it from my personal FS plan).
If it is possible, how would I go about doing this? I would have to port out the main line's number to Ring Central first since it takes up to 10 business days to complete the porting process to Ring Central.
Are there any fees involved in this?
Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

    Hello eja185,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us in the community forums on this issue. We are making a change in our billing system to meet the needs of our customers with this EXACT concern! We are currently migrating to a bill format called account level pricing (ALP). ALP is when the account is bill for the minutes and each line on the Family Share Plan is bill individually for access to the minutes. Now I know what you are thinking! What does that mean to ME? It means that there is NOT a primary line anymore and you can move lines as you see fit. In addition to that, access to the minutes will be distributed evenly amongst the mobile numbers, thus making it easy to identify who's responsible for any overages that may occur.
You mentioned in your posting that you want to keep your main line separate from your personal line for business purposes. We have a great option that can accommodate this type of request. I can transfer your primary line into a sub-account under your name that will be bill out completely separate from your current account. This way you will have two separate bills and won't incur an early termination fee if your agreement hasn't been fulfilled. Many people take advantage of this option for accounting purposes with their company and/or for tax purposes. If you are interested in this option then feel free to send me a private message with your full name & mobile number. We can discuss this option in further details for you. I look forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you...

  • BW Extractors/DXC/BODS + HANA Native Star Schema: Is this mixed scenario possible?

    Dear Experts,
(Excuse me for providing an extra detailed background before the actual question)
Our Transaction systems portfolio (Industry Pharma/Manufacturing, operating in 170+ countries)
SAP ECC on SQL Server (implementation in-progress) + 10 Other Custom Applications
    Our BI Portfolio
Nothing. Already purchased HANA (7.4 planned version) + Business Objects and will be implemented along with SAP ECC ERP
So point is our BI is a greenfield project and we don't have legacy of any BW Cubes / BEx Queries. As a BI/DW Architect I am evaluating different models to implement HANA, where design objective is to have maximum simplicity, extremely fast speed to respond to change requests, SQL based modeling and fully exploiting the raw power of HANA.
    Question -
What is the best way to utilize the "tremendous" power of ready made DataSources / Extractors and delegating this work to BW part and still allowing myself the freedom to do my custom modeling - relational / star (on top of imported data into HANA using these DataSources) and not restricting myself to Artifacts of Cubes & Similar providers. Whether to use DXC, BW Extractors => DSO... ? (final exposure will be through HANA Analytical / Attribute / Calculation Views)
Also would appreciate if you can express your views on this way of HANA implementation.
Along with this custom modeling, for operational reporting we are anyways going to use HANA Live and SLT.
A detailed explanation / rationale behind this approach is mentioned in the attached file.
    Thank you for reading this.
    regards, Abhishek.

  • Idoc to Webservice to Idoc scenario- is this possible without BPM?

    Hi guys
We have a scenario where we need to send an IDoc to webservice and get the response back into another IDoc.
    Questions:
    1. Is this scenario possible without a BPM? or do we need to use BPM (Sync-Async bridge).
    2. Is there a Async to Sync bridge in BPM?
    3. How do I use this bridge in my scenario and customize it?
    Appreciate your quick response

    Hi Satya,
    >>1. Is this scenario possible without a BPM? or do we need to use BPM (Sync-Async bridge?
    You need BPM
    2. Is there a Async to Sync bridge in BPM?
You dont need a "bridge", just take a synchronous send step
    3. How do I use this bridge in my scenario and customize it?
Map the IDoc to request container and the response container to the second IDoc.
Your need 4 container, receive step, transformation, send step (synchronous), transformation, send step (asyncronous)
