Schedule jobs issue after the upgrade

We have Data Services jobs scheduled via management console in 4.0 Environment. I upgraded the repository to 4.2 and attach it in CMC and also in Server manager. Both the environments are in different servers.
Login to Data Services management console. Click on the upgraded repository schedules, scheduled jobs listed there. But there is no Job server atatched to it. When i try to activate or edit the schedule, i am getting below error.
Schedule:billing_rep Error:Socket is closed] When contacting the server above exception was encountered, so it will be assumed the schedule is not active anymore.
Am i missing any steps?

Below is my suggestion regarding your query:
Edit existing Job server and update the details regarding Local reporsitory and save it.
Now try to map the same job server in scheduled jobs and check it was working or not
Or Else
Create new Job server and assign it to local repository.
In this case you have to update your all real time & batch Job configuration.

  • Authroization issue after the Upgrade for Multiprovider

    Hello Experts,
    After the upgrade has carried out in my Quality system, I'm unable to execute a query because of the authorization issue with Multiprovider. But earlier the same Authorization was assigned to the ID.
    The Role in Q and the Role in P is same. Right now P is with 3.1 and Q is with BI7.
    In both the system I have the same Role. But in Q it says that: Error You have no Authorization for Multiprovider XXXX
    This is happening for only one Multiprovider in Quality system. There is no change in the Multiprovider from earlier structure to the present structure.
    Can anyone give me any idea as to how to solve this issue?

    About the slim fonts... this is actually a fix with qt4.5. Old qt didnt respect some system font settings so now that it does, tweak ~/.fonts.conf how you want it.
    And about glitches... there will be some minor problems untill kdemod rebuilds against the new qt, you can rebuild workspace yourself if you dont want to wait for them.

  • Report painter Cash flow issue after the upgrade.

    We have developed a Cash Flow statement through report painter report. This has been used for quite some time. However, after the ECC6 upgrade, the report is  out by a clearing A/c amount which has a zero balance.  I canu2019t find how its picking this.

    In addition to applying that note, you also must deactivate Lightspeed rendering.  To me that's too extreme of a thing to do just to get paginators.  You loose the huge rendering performance improvements and it also means you can't use any of the new UI elements from 7.01.

  • Authorization issue after the Support packs upgrade

    We're having problem on authorization issue after the SP upgrade.
    One issue if "You are not authorized to call up line item display" using FCH1 and FS10N tcodes.
    And the SU53 showing problem on S_TCODE FAGLL03.
    How are we going to solve this issue? We dont want to add this missing auth object on all our finance roles.

    1 . We updated OS to mavericks few machine in last december and still does't works SMTP (Out going mail) on those MAC.
    2.  After that most recently we updated OS to mavericks few machine those are working will with SMTP server .
             a)Not showing any SMTP connection in TCP trace ,
             b) Connection docter every time Says "Connecting to the server "
    3, Then we have installed thunderberd (another mail) client on maverick os, which OS related to apple mail client not woking . It seems other mail client is working well with SMTP server .

  • Problem with"Evaluate User Policies"sch task after the upgrade OIM R1 to R2

    Problem with "Evaluate User Policies" scheduled task after the upgrade from OIMg R1 to OIM 11g R2
    After the upgrade process is completed we are having issue with Access policy not triggering if rule is set to custom attribute
    - We had a Rule with custom attribute (Policy='Full-Time') the value gets populated by event handler which triggers the access policy in OIM 11g R1.. which worked fine in OIM R1
    After the upgrade the value is getting populated but even after running "Evaluate User Policy" the Access Policy is not getting triggered.
    We tested creating a rule with other custom attribute,policy does not trigger even after running Evaluate User Policy schedule Task in this case too
    but if we try creating rule with OOTB attributes(Country='US') it works fine the access policy got triggered after running Evalute User Policy
    One more issue we observed is
    - Evaluate User Policy value usr_policy_update is not updated still set to '1' even after the Access policy got triggered (as it worked when rule is set to OOTB attribute)
    I believe after the evaluate user policy gets triggered for a user it should update the value from '1' to '0')

    well, I overcame the issue by 'fooling' the installer: on second node, change the scan ip address to point to something else (ie, different ip address to the scan in the first node, cleanup then rerun root.sh, it went past the trouble stage, then I still have problem later at the time database creation. I think scan ip address has to be setup correctly (round robin thingy)
    This is how i did the cleanup before rerun root.sh
    /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/crs/install/rootcrs.pl -verbose -deconfig -force

  • MIssing Variants in transaction MMBE after the Upgrade from 4.7 to ECC6.0

    The variants which are defined in 4.7 system are missing completely in ECC6.0 after the upgrade.
    These variants are maintained for the transaction MMBE.
    Also one observation in the program change for this transaction in both the system:
    ECC 6.0 Program  : RMMMBESTN   and    ERP 4.7 Program : RMMMBEST

    Thanks , but the issue was different.
    We found that since the programs are changed in both the versions for the transaction MMBE , the variants couldnot be copied.
    Hence suitable FM was ran to copy the variants and can be seen in ECC6.0 screen now.

  • Issue after solman Upgrade

    Dears,
    We were using solman 7.0, connected to ECC 5.0 server.
    We configured all activities EWA,System Monitoring and all were working fine.
    Now we upgraded solman to 7.01(EHP1) and R/3 to ECC 6.04 .
    1 - My first concern is after upgradation it should automatically pick details but is is still showing ECC5 in product version.
         We performed Read data from remote system also but still same issue.
    2 - When I go to EWA or system Monitoring I only find Prd server there while in solution's logical component all dev,qas and prd servers are available.Earlier before upgrading it was showing all systems in EWA and system Monitoring.
    Please suggest.

    For point #2 please look closely at the solution containing the systsem and make sure that 1) The Dev, QAS systems are included, and are highlighted greeen ( Meaning they are status "Put in Solution"). It sounds a lot like this setting is not done, therefore the systems would not show when you would try and use that solution in functions like EWA, BPMON, etc.
    It sounds very much like when you create a new soltuion with PRD, QAS, DEV systems assigned, but only the PRD system is "Put in Solution" by default, so you explicitly need to right click the system in change/edit mode, and select "Put in Solution", then save.
    Now why this might be the case after the upgrade, I don't have an answer, but it is worth having a check as the symptom fits this issue. I would advise you check the solution itself and ensure the DEV and QAS systems and in status "Put in Solution".

    We are experiencing performance issues after we upgraded to a new version of Hyperion (11.1.2.1). At this point, I am not too sure about the actual causes for this degrade in performance but I am trying to narrow down the causes and need your inputs. Please help me with your ideas.
    1) What could be the causes/factors for the performance to degrade after an upgrade?
    2) Does the performance of a script depend on the user credentials i.e. who is launching the script? Whether it’s the super admin of the application/application owner or an application specific admin?
    3) Does the performance of the scripts depend on the place you are launching it from? For example - will the performance differ if it’s launched from MaxL Vs EAS?
    Please let me know your thoughts on this.

    There are a number of bugs 12600557, 12675485, 12669814, 12698488 logged in for 11.1.2.1 - If you use Internet Explorer 8 and have data forms designed to use a large number of sparse dimension members in rows or columns, you may experience performance degradation when opening the data forms.
    This has been fixed in Oracle Hyperion Planning, Fusion Edition Release 11.1.2.1 Patch Set Update (PSU): 11.1.2.1.101 which is available on My Oracle Support as Patch 12666861.

  • SAP Query selection screen issues after ECC upgrade

    Hi all
    We have a custom query created and assigned to a custom transaction code, which after upgrade to ECC 6.0 we find that the selection screen layout is different from what was available in 4.6C system.
    All the fields required are available.
    However, the sequence of the fields on the screen is different from the 4.6C after the upgrade.
    Can anyone help identify the issue so that the issue can be resolved?

    There is no resolution as such.
    We had raised a Customer message with SAP and were informed that this was expected as the procedure to execute the reports was changed in ECC when compared to 4.6 (technical changes) and hence this issue shall remain for some queries wherein the old changes need to be brought back using an option in the SAP Query.
    Please refer to SAP Note # 723577 which could provide a better explanation for the issue.

  • IP Phone 7921 / 7925 roaming issues after WLC upgrade from Version 7.2 to 7.3 and / or 7.4

    We have a customer which is using a Cisco WLC 5508 and 3502I APs. As he used the 7.2.103 release, There were no issues with VoWLAN. Now he needed new APs and ordered the 2602I. To use them he needed to upgrade the WLC to a 7.3 or later release. After the upgrade, he now encounters problems while roaming with the phones. The phones were tested with FW 1.4.1, 1.4.2 and 1.4.3.
    Configuration is set according to wireless voice design guides (VoWLAN DG 4.1, 7921 Deployment Guide). A Cisco TAC is also in progress, but they seem to be uncertain whether it is a wireless or CUCM issue, but I don't see a reason why it should be the CUCM when the only thing changed is the WLC Software Version.
    Is there anybody who is aware of such issues and can offer help?

    we had a TAC ticket open with this customer and after some time, the TAC gave us the advise to use this release and the problems are now solved.
    So for others having the same issue: If you only need to support the 2600 APs, stay with the latest 7.2 release as there are some issues with the 7.3 and 7.4 release. If the customer requires HA, AVC or any of the new features + wireless voice, be very careful as it seems that the newer releases are having problems with that. I hope that Cisco will fix this very soon.

  • Web dynpro ABAP- small issue after EHC1 upgrade

    We have a Web dynpro ABAP report and it was working fine before the EHC1 upgrade. After the upgrade we noticed that the row count in ALV greed was disappeared.
    The report used to show 25 records per page and we were able to jump to the other pages by clicking on row count that was placed right below the report. Now report shows all the records and we only have scroll down option.
    Any idea where to look/ how to fix this issue?

    We recently moved from PT 8.48 TO PT8.51.18 on CRM 8.8 Application.
    After the upgrade, we tremendously saw big performance issues with PeopleSoft CRM Application. It freezes almost every day and all their work-force (call center representatives) go idle. It significantly impacts their productivity and eventually losing revenue.
