Schedule Line Issue

Hi All,
In a sales order, there is a single ltem with multiple schedule lines with date and quantity.
Delivery person delivers as per the schedule line date and quantity but there are instances where there is short delivery. Hence needs short closing of schedule line. Need Solution for this.
Constraints :-
Reason of rejection does not work here as it is partial closing of schedule line and not item.
If delivery block is put or schedule line category is changed dynamically, system allots the delivered quantity to next scheduline thus reducing the open quantity of second scheduline and so on.
Currently trigerring short close command thru. user exit from delivery to sales order schedule line but facing the above two constraints.
Hence, need solution where only the schedule line concerned is short closed without affecting the other schedule lines for the same item.
Request your help in resolution which is need on asap basis.

Hi,
I'll suggest you a new mapping for delivery creation. Just check whether you can use this.
Instead of VL10A, VL10C, VL01N, introduce VL10E for delivery creation. This is to create deliveries based on the Schedule LInes
Then ask delivery creation person to select ONLY the relevant schedule line when creating deliveries.
Eg: Say you have 3 schedule lines in LI 10.
1 - 01/11/2009 - Qty 10
2 - 10/11/2009 - Qty 10
3 - 20/11/1009 - Qty 10
When you go to VL10E & execute it for your SO number, you can see all 3 Schedule lines. Ask him to create delivery only for relevant Schedule line.
Say he create a deliery from Schedule line 1 - 01/11/2009 for Qty 8
In that case he can select only that Schedule line from the screen & create a delivery.
If that's all to be delivered form that schedule line, set a delivery block at Schedule line level in the sales order. To have more clarity create a Delivery Block as "Short Close" so that users can identify clearly why it's blocked.
When you go to VL10E, to do the next delivery (For schedule line 2)
You can see screen as follows.
1 - 01/11/2009 - Qty 2
2 - 10/11/2009 - Qty 10
3 - 20/11/1009 - Qty 10
Since "Delivery Block" is set to Schedule line 1, he cannot create a delivery for that, where as he has to select Schedule line 2 for delivery.
Hope this is useful to you!
Best regards,
Anupa

  • Schedule lines Issue

    Dear All,
We are using Scheduling agreements process.
In this, the transfer of requirements is activated from the sched.lines to PP (t-code MD04) . So the system works accordingly. Now we dont want to carry forward the last months schedule line's balance qty to the new month. say,
    In a Sched.agreement, shedule lines
    01.06.2011 order qty 500....  delivered 200 qty
    01.07.2011 order qty 1000
    01.08.2011 order qty 600
In June2011, 200 qty had been partially delivered. So business doesn't want to carry this balance 300 qty to production. Hence we assign schedling cat. CN on next month say on 1st of July'11 instead of CP for the June'11 sched.line.
Here the balace 300 qty is been deducted from the order qty of July'11, so in MD04 for the month of July system shows only 700 qty (1000-300=700) which is wrong.
1000 should be the production qty for the month of July'11 and June's shed.line should not reflect in Md04. . How to solve this delivered qty dedcting from the next month's requirement. Pls guide.
P.S : however the 01.08.2011 does not have nay problem. It is getting reflected in MD04 as 600qty.
    Thanks,
    Reg,
    JJ

same issue we are facing. please tell me how to solve it.
I have created Sales Order (Number 1032) with following scenario and posted one goods issuance against first delivery with less quantity.
    Sales Order Item
    Item               Item Desc                            Order  Quantity
10                 High Speed Diesel (HSD)      5000
    Schedule Lines
    Line: 10
    Delivery Date: 07.07.2011
    Order Quantity: 1000
    Rounded Qty: 1000
    Confirmed Qty:1000
    Delivered Qty: 9500
    Line: 20
    Delivery Date: 07.07.2011
    Order Quantity: 1000
    Rounded Qty: 1000
    Confirmed Qty:1000
    Delivered Qty: 0
    Line: 30
    Delivery Date: 07.07.2011
    Order Quantity: 2000
    Rounded Qty: 2000
    Confirmed Qty:2000
    Delivered Qty: 0
Now when i goto VL01N and execute delivery on 08.07.2011 with reference to Sales Order system sum-up the previous quantity + 2nd schedule line quantity means (1500). But our requirement is that it should only propose the order qty of current scheduling lines date instead of previous + current date quantities..

  • Schedule Line Issue in Sales order...

    Hello,
While creating sales order in schedule line two schedule lines are getting created. fisrt line the date of creation of the sales order with out confirm quantity and the second line which is two days later with confirm quantity. When material is available then why schedule line is showing confirm quantity in later days. How to rectify this? please let me know the all possibilities.
    David.

Eventhough material is available today , it doesnt means that the material can be delivered by today itself. There are other dates also which will affect the delivery date like Transportation planning, availability of truckts to send the materials, based on these transportation plannign and transportation leadtimes, the Goods Issue date and thus the final delivery date will be decided.
If you want to finetune this functionality
    1. If your route determination is enabled, then you have to configure your transportation lead time for the relevant route.
    2. If routes are not enabled, then you have to define these things in shipping point in logistics execution
Hope this helps you to solve the problem

  • Schedule line issue in sale order

    Hi,
We've removed the availability check from 02 to KP in material master for all the materials.
Also removed the availibility tick from VOV6 for schedule line cat. CP
But even then while creating the sale order, schedule line is activate for few materials.
Pls help to resolve the issue.
    Harsh

For that first go to material master MRP2 view and see what strategy group is maintained.
Next go to OPPS and see for that Strategy group, what Requirement Type is assigned.
Next go to OVZH, select that Requirement Type and see what Requirement Class is assigned.
Finally, go to OVZG, select that Requirement Class and untick the box "Availability" on top left.
But before doing this change, you should take concurrence with your PP guys.
Last but not least, I only wanted you to understand how you should respect forum members time and never expected points from anybody.  Since in all your previous threads, you had closed without proper updation, I had to caution you.
    thanks

  • Erroneous link between R/3 Schedule Lines and CRM Schedule Line

    Hi everybody,
I am analyzing the best approach to fix a duplicate schedule line issue in CRM. The documents are modified from R/3 by means of an IDOC (ORDERS05).
First of all, let me explain the process.
1.- Document is first created in CRM
2.- Document is updated from CRM in R/3 (Using middleware)
3.- In R/3, a customer program (Z), does a lot of calculations to the order (rejection, item splitting, Qty changes, creation of new Items, etc) and once its done, it populates the IDOC and sends the information to CRM (ORDERS05).
4.- CRM receives the IDOC, modifies the order.
5.- Document is update from CRM in R/3 9Using middleware)
The Z program, DOES NOT modify the database in R/3, it lets the process to be executed and also lets CRM to do this job.
I had to make several modifications to the XIF module, in order to allow many of those changes to be valid in CRM (i.e., A rejected ITEM is changed to be valid and it's Qty changed. CRM does not allow this to be done in one step, since the qty is "greyed" for no changes).
Edited by: Rob Burbank on Feb 17, 2010 5:34 PM

    My issue is this.
The worst thing that happened, is the fact there is key fields in R/3 -> CRM, to link the schedule lines, since R/3 Uses the regular key fields in the T. table, CRM uses the GUID for the sched. lines.
After a OSS msg and many goes and comes, I had the suggestion from SAP to change from ORDERS05 Idoc into CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M01 idoc, since ORDERS05 is not supported by CRM (however the Idoc is in the system).
I am not sure that is the best solution, in fact I do not believe that is a solution at all. CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M01 does not exist in R/3 and even if somehow I do all the effort to create it in R/3, R/3 still does not have the schedule line GUID to properly point to the right record.
What I did to override this error, was to include inside the XIF module the CRM_APO_SALES_SELECT_GUIDS, CRM_ORDER_READ and CRM_ORDER_CONVERT_DOCNUMBER Functions to get all the sched lines for the specific orders in the guid form. However this solution does not work OK, since sometimes the CRM system is not able to properly return the correct GUID values and this leads to the duplicate schedule lines error.
If somebody has ever deal with a situation like this, I will appreciate if could share its point of view or even better, share the solution used.
As an extra comment, modifying the Z program to update the database and let middleware to do the job for us, is ou of the qustion at this momento.
Thank you for your time and help.
    Sincerely
    Meuli

  • Interesting and an  imporatant issue at sales order schedule line.

    hi all,
interesting and an  imporatant issue at sales order schedule line.
i created a sales order with 10 qty.and the system proposed a two schedule lines.
let's say to order created date is 27.11.2008.and the requested delivery date is 27.11.2008.
but the stock is not available today then the system proposed two more schedule lines apart from the 27.11.2008.so now there are three schedule lines like below.
schedule line date                      Material availabilyt date   delivery date
    27.10.2008 with zero quantity.
    28.10.2008 with 5 qty.                28.10.2008                     29.10.2008
    02.10.2008 with 5 qty.                02.10.2008                     03.10.2008
now the delivery and pgi already for the schedule line 28.10.2008.
then when i run the availability check on 01.11.2008 system is over writing the material vailability date as today at the scheduleline number two.
now i can able to view only two schedule lines only.
schedule line date                      Material availabilyt date   delivery date
    28.10.2008 with 5 qty.                01.11.2008                     29.10.2008
    02.10.2008 with 5 qty.                01.11.2008                     02.11.2008
now my concern when we reschedule the avalability check it should notchange the Material availability date of the schedule line which i already delivered.

  • Issue of  Schedule Lines in MRP List

    Hi,
We ran MRP for one material, we observed MRP generated 3 schedules lines with respect to single Schedule Agreement with exception message as 30(Plan Process according to schedule).
Schedule line 1 --- Delivery Date is 10/06/2011 in MD05, Delivery date in Schedule Agreement is 10/04/2011,Rescheduling date is 08/27/2011 Exception message is 30(Plan Process according to schedule(08/27/2011 08/25/2011).
Schedule line 2 --- Delivery Date is 10/06/2011 in MD05, Delivery date in Schedule Agreement is 10/04/2011,Rescheduling date is 10/05/2011 Exception message is 30(Plan Process according to schedule(10/05/2011 10/03/2011).
Schedule line 3 --- Delivery Date is 10/06/2011 in MD05, Delivery date in Schedule Agreement is 10/04/2011,Rescheduling date is 09/08/2011 Exception message is 30(Plan Process according to schedule(09/08/2011 09/06/2011).
But in Schedule Agreement, we are seeing that all the 3 delivery schedules with delivery dates as "10/04/2011" as GR Processing time is 2 days.
Can anyone tell why the MRP has not updated the Schedule Agreement with the new Delivery dates proposed by the exception message 30 in MD05 list.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Vivek,
I am not knowing how to upload the details.
Please find the Material master details for the issue material:-
MRP type- PD, Lot Size - ZE - Period lot size, Sched.2, Split ( Config Setting of this lot size key is provided below),
    Minimum lot size-2,000.000, rounding profile-2,000.000, Material type- ROH,Safety Stock - 1224, Pld Delivery time -63 days, GR Processing time- 2 days, Planning Calendar-ZEX.,Consumption mode     2,Bwd consumption per. 999,Fwd consumption per. 999 ,Mixed MRP --      1, Strategy group =      Z1 ( Final assembly & assembly level, i.e., combination of 40 + 70))
Config Setting of Lot size key- ZE are :-

Scheduling  --    2 Period end := delivery date ,No. of periods  1, Splitting Quota - Checked ,Last Lot Exact- Checked.
    b) Scheduling Agreement has 3 delivery schedule lines with Delivery Date as "10/04/2011" and scheduled quantities as 2000,1617 and 2000 EA.
As per the MD05 screen, for this material, corresponding to these 3 schedules lines, we have exception message -30 with different delivery dates. Our Question is why MRP does not updated the Delivery dates for the schedule lines in the scheduled agreement proposed by these exception message.
Can you please let me know whether this information is sufficient for you to understand my problem?.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Schedule lines - Confirmed quantity issue

    Hi
I have a make to order material which is purchased from a vendor. A purchase requistion is automatically created every time it is quoted in a sales order.
In a particular case, I had 1 such material which was not in inventory and  which could be used while delivering a particular sales order. I posted goods reciept using movement type 501 - E and received it as a part of sales order stock.
Now when I go to the schedule lines screen in the sales order, it shows confirmed quantity as '0' (See screen shot below) and therefore I am not able to deliver this sales order.
Availability check is configured as in the following screen shot
    [http://i44.tinypic.com/290swwg.jpg]
How can I get a confirmed quantity of 1 in the schedule line. Why is not SAP recognizing 1 in sales order stock?
Please help me with this issue.
    Regards,
    Ketan

    Ketan,
    The config is acceptable.
SAP generally does not let you enter confirmation quantities manually.
This issue is that you have said you have RELEVANT (sales order relevant) stock on hand, and you cannot get a confirmation.
Now you are saying when you do the ATP check, it does 'nothing'. I am going to assume that you have already checked that the item of the sales order is not rejected.
Normally, during an ATP check, you should have gotten a proposal screen, which will show that 0 or more pieces are available for confirmation.  If only zero is available, the system only will give you an icon on this proposal screen which says 'Continue'.  You still should get this screen! Since you haven't gotten this screen, There is probably one of three things wrong.  Either you have something missing in ATP config, or you have an authorization issue, or you have a userexit that is interfering with the ATP check.
SD ATP settings and config is not simple, and neither is debugging a userexit.  This is not an MM issue, this is SD.  Consult with your SD team to determine your next step.  Or, if you have no SD resource, you should probably repost this message on an SD forum.

  • Issue on Purchase order creation with Delivery schedule line items per PR

    Hi
Note->Developed inbound FM to create PO's in SAP through IDOC.
We are creating purchase orders from vendor which is coming from Inbound IDOC. Here we are using as BAPI_PO_CREATE1
to create PO's. before that i am passing all the inbound data of the IDOC and getting some Purchase requisions for plant and material wise from EBAN table where we have open PR's and split the inbound line item qauntity as per Open quantity in Purchase requisions. Problem here we are modifing schdule line data as per purcahse requisitions and post the all the shehduline data into above functional module, we are using creation date as delivery date in the scheduling line for each line.
Set1- If we have multiple requisions for each material and plant in the inbound IDOC item , while creating PO using  above BAPI
creating PO with delivery date is taken from Purchase requesion date, this only will happend in the first schudle line item always, second line scheulde has taken correctly from creation data as delivery date.
Set2-If we have one requisition for each line item, it will creating correctly for schulding line item as with correct delivery , whcih is not taken from requstion delivery date.
Set 2 is working correctly, but Set1  has problem with delivery date  in the scheduling lines particulary for first schduling line item.
Please help me on this issue.
    Advance wishes

    Hi Satish
    Thanks for the reply.
I checked the parameters and it is creating 2 PO when the Indicator Ordering address is set.If I uncheck this Indicator then only one PO is created.
But now my question is from where is the Ordering address taken because for both line items Vendor is same and ordering address is also same.
Then why the system is creating new PO?

  • Issue with Delivered Quantity in Schedule line level

    Hi,
I have a situation where the Delivered quantity in the sales order line item is not correct. we tried creating a delivery for a line item ( after the initial partial delivery was made), the delivery document did not get saved, however the sales order line item got updated with the delivered quantity equal to the other quantity. which is now causing the issue that i am not able to create a new delivery against this line item, please let me know on the ways of proceeding. this had happened for quite number of sales orders as the delivery processing job had an issue.
Tried using SDVBUK00 program ( specific to Sales order status update) but the results were no good.
Do we have any other methods/ correction programs?
    Regards
    Ilango

Are you able to create the delivery with ref to sales order again-then what error system throwing here--including the message number....
Note: here i presume the error like---No delivery relevant items.
Have you checked your VBFA here??
Note: once you created a delivery with respect to sales order--just do picking(even without picking)--save this delivery--now check the delivery quantity in sales order--system will update delivery quantity in sales order schedule lines--test this. Here you can do only one thing--either VBFA(follow this delivery number) or delete the delivery document & recreate..
    Pl update--Hope this helps...

  • VA01: Align Good issue dates existing on Schedule line table.

    Hi Experts,
I will exemplify my question in order to make easier to understand it. I have a sales order with two lines. Both lines will have different routes determination due to those products have different classification (the first is non-dangerous and second on is dangerous). Dangerous items will have more transit time to get the customer than non-dangerous items. When we have different routes per line items in the sales order, the system will calculate schedule line dates (good issue date, material availability date) differently. However, what the Business wants is to deliver the goods at the same good issue date (VBEP-WADAT). So to get this approach we will have to:
    - Check field “complete delivery indicator).
    - Set the route for non-dangerous good as same as dangerous good.
Both changes described above, it would be performed via USEREXIT. However, my problem is: When the non-dangerous item is the first item of the sales order, the system does not trigger again the calculation of the schedule line dates based on the new route (XVBAP[1]-ROUTE).
I have found out the routine that changes the schedule line dates, but I do not know how to use it. Do you have any other solution?
