SCOM R2 - Access MP catalog from console using proxy

Hello,
Every workstations and servers in the company have to use a proxy to access to internet.
Is there a way to access the MP Catalog from the SCOM R2 console in such a configuration ?
Regards.

    Hello,
    I really need your help, I have been trying for more that one week to figure out what is the problem without success
    Here is the details of my problem:
    I have oracle  11g installed on machine1 (ubuntu 64bit) , and I have MonetDB installed on machine2 (ubuntu 64bit, ip= 192.168.56.101)
    I need to access MonetDB database from oracle.
    I followed the configurations steps but I get always the following error:

    Hi,
    Firstly, try to configure your gateway listener on another port than 1521 as it is the default one for database. Don't forget to change also the port in TNSNAMES.ORA.
    Then use the host machine or ip address rather than the local host in the LISTENER.ORA and TNSNAMES.ORA.
    Avoid to use  $ORACLE_HOME in the ENVS from LISTENER.ORA but use a complete PATH.
    Then test your ODBC connection outside Oracle. What is the result?
    Try to get result of the following commands on the Oracle machine1 :
    $cd /usr/bin
    $./odbcinst -q -d
    $./odbcints -q -s
    Change parameter in gateway init file:
    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL=DEBUG
    Execute your SELECT statement:
    select "id" from "test"@monetdb;
    Get the gateway trace file in /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/hs/log and send us
    Thanks

  • Consuming Data from Queue using proxy service

    Hi , i am coming up the problem of consuming the queue .
    My flow is like :
    1. Created Connection factory(JNDI - cf) targeting Admin Server and queue(JNDI - q) targeting WllsbJmsserver.
    2. Created A JMS based Buissness Service of Any XML type and it is used for publishing the incoming xml payload to the destination queue (q).
    3. Now i am able to see the published payload on the console using monitoring option of the queue.
    4. Now i have created the proxy service and gave the same url as given for BS (jms://localhost:7001/cf/q).
    5.After activating the session the Messege Current Count on weblogic console is now coming 0 as i think it's being consumed up by the proxy service, but I am not able to see the consumed message.
    6.I want to do some processing on the message, how to go about this?
    My requirement is that i wanted to store some ID in a queue and used that particular id /consume that particaular id in some other proxy service .

    Anuj,
    I tried one more flow ...
    My resources are:
    1.BS :BSQ_Push
    2.PS :PS_Read_Message
    3.PS: PS_Publish_Message
    I edit the pipeline of PS_Publish_Message and made a route to PS_Publish_Message service and added some more actions and i am listing up all the actions below step by step
    Message Flow for PS_Publish_Message
    a. Postiing Message In Queue stage:
    Publish to [ BSQ_Push ] used , and Request Actions used : Log [ $body ]
    b. Route to [ PS_Read_Messege ]
    Message Flow for PS_Read_Message :
    a. Reading Message Stage :
    Log [$body  ]
    But at the end my logs are as follows when i run the PS_Publish_Message wth a request as <id>Abhinav</id> :

  • Accessing mysql database from oracle using dg4odbc

    I've been trying to create a database link from a MySQL database to Oracle using the Oracle dg4odbc gateway. I downloaded and installed DataDirect's ODBC package which includes mysql ODBC library (ddmysql24.so) and a generic ODBC libary (libodbc.so). After creating the DSN in odbc.ini, I tested it and it can connect to the mysql database. Then I created the init{SID}.ora file in hs/admin directory, added dg4odbc lines in the listener.ora, and added lines in tnsnames.ora. Then I tnspinged the new SID with success. Finally, I created the database link. However, when I tried to access the database link using the commands "select * from mdl_user@moodle;", I got the ORA-28500 error like the following:
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
    [DataDirect][ODBC 20101 driver][20101]You have an error in your SQL syntax;
    check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right
    syntax to use near '"mdl_user"' at line 1
    ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines from MOODLE
    My mysql database is utf8 by default. Do I have to use latin1?
    It seems to me that the dg4odbc translates the sql commands incorrectly (having double quotes around the selected table).
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Jeffrey

    The syntax error occures for example when MySQL isn't running in ANSI mode and thus does not allow double quotes around the objects. DG4ODBC 11.1.0.6 by default always adds double quotes to table/column/view names.
    A quick test to check if you hit the double quote issue would be to set the MySQL DB into ANSI mode:
    - Open SQL*Plus
    - execute:
    DECLARE
    ret integer;
    c integer;
    BEGIN
    c := DBMS_HS_PASSTHROUGH.OPEN_CURSOR@moodle;
    DBMS_HS_PASSTHROUGH.PARSE@moodle(c, 'SET SESSION SQL_MODE=''ANSI_QUOTES'';');
    ret := DBMS_HS_PASSTHROUGH.EXECUTE_NON_QUERY@moodle(c);
    dbms_output.put_line(ret ||' passthrough output');
    DBMS_HS_PASSTHROUGH.CLOSE_CURSOR@moodle(c);
    END;
    - Now run your select statement
    => if it now works, you can permanently change the MySQL config to be ANSI compliant or you can apply the 11.1.0.7 patchset to DG4ODBC.

  • Access proxy from terminal using proxy auto-config

    I know about using ntlmaps to wrapper my proxy configurations e get access from Terminal, iTerm2, &c exporting http_proxy variable and others. But I don't want go on using this approach because it simply ***** (forgive me for this word...) for a lot of issues.
    I would like simply setup my proxy environment on Network Preferences/Advanced/Automatic Proxy Configuration: (host: http://myproxy/proxy.pac) and using this setup for a whole system, including my terminals. Therefore, are there any way to reach it?
    Another details, my proxy is authenticated and uses ntlm type and in browser I use internet without problems.
    Thanks a lot for any help!
    -Leo

    I am not quite sure what you are looking for. Mac OS X has supported auto proxy configuration since 10.6 Snow Leopard was introduced (acutally in response to a request I made ). If you open System Preferences, click on Network, then go to the Advanced settings for your network interface, in the Proxies tab there is an option called Auto Proxy Discovery. This is different to Automatic Proxy Configuration which was also available in previous versions of OS X. Automatic Proxy Configuration uses a selected PAC file (Proxy Auto Configuration file) but Auto Proxy Discovery uses the WPAD method of finding your proxy server.
    See this article for information about WPAD (Web Proxy Automatic Detection).
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Proxy_Autodiscovery_Protocol
    WPAD uses either an option advertised from your DHCP server giving the address of your proxy server, or WPAD can use a standard URL based on your domain name to download a dat file containing your proxy server details.
    I have seen reports saying the the DNS method is problematic with Mac OS X but also seen reports that the DHCP method does work with this option successfully. So my suggestion is to define the DHCP option code 252 to advertise your proxy server.
    Note: Thanks to yet another request I made in the past the Mac OS X DHCP Server can be manually configured to define additional DHCP option codes including option 252. The ability to define DHCP option codes was added in Mac OS X 10.5 Server (Leopard).

  • Unable to access ECC transactions from CRM using Transaction Launcher

    Hi Folks, we are trying to create a booking request using VA11 from portal. For this we have configured transaction launcher in CRM which will connect to ECC system from portal and VA11 screen will be launched. For this we have done the necessary configuration in transaction launcher (Including RFC destination and logical system) and this is working fine in Dev system but not in quality system. We are able to see SAP screen with toolbar Menu and System but not the entire transaction (refer image below). Our questions here are,
    1)     What user type has to be configured when connecting from CRM to ECC? (System, Communication data or any ohter)
    2)     If this has to work with user as Dialog, is there any supporting document from SAP saying this should be Dialog user?
    3)     Is there any other issue and need development specifically related BOR TSTC?
    Warm regards and thanks in advance for your time.
    Prasad

    Hello JC,
    Yes, it is possible . You have to create new work center link or Direct Link for the existing transaction launcher.

    Hi kgronau,
    >
    After changing a listener.ora file you need to STOP and START the listener to get the changes loaded. It looks like your listener is not serving the 1524 port which could be related to the fact that you didn't stop/start the listener after you've edited the listener.ora file.
    ... But as stated earlier - please do not use a 10.2 listener to start an 11g gateway. Instead configure the listener of the gateway home.
    >
    I did restart my listener under services.msc whenever I make the changes but there are no effect. Please also note that I can only find "OracleOraDb10g_home1TNSListener" under my services.msc. There is no 11.2 Listener. I did install the gateway and the installation was successful as far as I can tell. But perhaps because there's no 11.2 Listerner under my services.msc, could that mean it was a bad installation?
    >
    Next point is the tnsping you've used is 11.2. You need to make sure that you use the tnsping of the Oracle Database home as the database initiates the gateway connection so the database home tnsnames,ora needs the tns entry for the gateway.
    >
    My current PATH environment variables setting is as follow: C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\tg_1\bin;C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\bin; So perhaps, I just need to ensure the 10.2 ORACE home is the first?
    >
    As a final tip: There are so many web sites explaining how to configure DG4ODBC - many of them are faulty. If you need a reliable configuration, please have a look at "My Oracle Support" => How to Configure DG4ODBC (Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC) on Windows 32bit to Connect to Non-Oracle Databases Post Install     [Document 466225.1]     )

  • TIME_OUT when accessing Oracle table from SAP using native SQL

    Hi,
    I have a problem in one of my native SQL statement. It takes a long time accessing the table considering that the number of records to be retrieved is only small.
    Something happened on the Oracle system. But, stilll to be confirmed. Looking further at the issue, it seems that when the value in the where clause equated is a literal (meaning the value is not declared in DATA or CONSTANTS in the ABAP Program)
    Example
    1.
    EXEC.
    WHERE FIELD = '1'
    ENDEXEC.
    instead of
    2.
    CONSTANTS: c_1 value '1'.
    EXEC.
    WHERE FIELD = c_1
    ENDEXEC.
    i found that when the way of coding is same as Example 1, a time-out error occurs. But when in Example 2, no issue.
    Can someone explain this?
    Thanks!

    Repetitively asking the same question again and again is against the forum rules.
    Please post an explain of the SQL statement on the remote machine.

  • How to access streaming vedio from server using RMI

    Hello please provide me the solution
    i have one vedio file in remote system and i want to import it to my local system using RMI after that i have to control it like vedio player.This entire application should be developed in struts.
    please give me a basic idea how to approch and wht r the files i need to import and is there any classes available to control the remote streaming vedio.

    If you are using Struts then you are in a web environment. So there is no RMI for the client (browser), it is just HTTP.
    About streaming video take a look at JMF (Java Media Framework). And if you are over HTTP you can use something like this to embed your video streaming:
    <html>
    <body>
    <object width="320" height="63"
    classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"

  • OSB - Load Resources From URL using proxy

    Hi all,
    How does one force the OSB to use a proxy server when using the Load Resources From URL option?
    I'm trying to create a wsdl resource from an url, but the OSB needs to use a proxy to access the url.
    I've tried creating a Proxy Server under System Administration -> Global Resources -> Proxy Servers, but I can't seem to find a place to make it use a proxy server?
    How do guys and gals get wsdl files though a proxy?
    Thanks!
    William

    Hi Milan,
    Thanks for your reply.
    I tried setting -Dhttp.proxyHost=12.34.56.78 -Dhttp.proxyPort=80 in the startWebLogic.cmd file under the ...\domain\bin folder. But still can't download the wsdl.
    Where did you set the property?
    thanks again,
    William

  • Calling Web Service from CRM using proxy

    Hi all,
    I'm facing a problem trying to call a web service from CRM (WAS 620) via XI 3.0. The response that XI recieves from the web service contains SOAP Envelope, and the mapping fails because of it. I built the proxy manually, because if I load WSDL the proxy generation in CRM generates error that sais that external definition coudn't be used.
    Is there any way to remove SOAP envelope from the response while mapping?
    Is it possible to call web service from WAS 620?
    Thanks!!!!
    Anya.

    Hi Manish,
    SOAP adapter does pass the message to XI (this message contains SOAP envelope although XI expects to get message without it), and during the mapping step i get "Runtime Exception in Message-Mapping transformatio~".
    I suppose it's because i created proxy manually. I did so because when i imported WSDL, and tried to generate proxy in CRM, i got an error message that said that proxy couldn't be generated because external definitions are only allowed in XI 3. But my XI version is 3.0! And when I generate the same proxy in my R/3 system that is installed on WAS 640, it works.
    What can I do?
    Cheers,
    Anya.

  • Cant access Cs Live from application via proxy server

    Hi,
    I have a problem with CS Live. When I try and access it via a web browser I can login ok, but when I try using the application extension and sign in that way it gets rejected.
    Web access is via a Bluecoat proxy server. Checking the access logs I found the following message (ip's replaced with x's):
    xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - - authentication_failed PROXIED "Computers/Internet" - 407 TCP_DENIED CONNECT - tcp services.acrobat.com 443 / - - "Adobe-ServiceManager" xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 341 179 -
    I have rules setup inside the proxy for whitelist's that can allow access for problem websites, but including services.acrobat.com inside them doesnt have any effect.
    has anyone every come across this as it was working ok with no changes made a week ago and now it doesnt.
    Thanks

    Having the same problem - Having no luck either, sorry I'm of no help but would appreciate some help if you figure something out. Thanks

  • Getting partial data in PI from ECC using proxy

    Hi Consultants,
    I am working on Proxy to SOAP scenario. I have developed almost 20 scenarios. All are working fine as expected except 1 scenario.
    This scenario is troubling me and the problem is, in inbound message of PI, I am not getting whole data which is showing in proxy test in ECC system.
    Can anyone help me in solving this issue?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Naushad

    Abhishek,
    I am filtering messages by date not by status. And I do not have authrizations to see the Integration Engine configuration.
    So, I have requested basis team to change the trace_level.
    It is priority for me to resolve this issue and I guess it is proxy issue. But I am not sure and I am not able to findout where is the issue and what is the solution.

    ECC SXMB_MONI response payload and the PI SXMB_MONI inbound message payload is same.But there is a difference between ECC SXMB_MONI payload and the ECC SPROXY payload. If any one face this kind of issue then please provide me your inputs.
    As this issue is in ECC, I will log this query in ABAP Development forum.
