Scrap Sales GL , which type of cost centers need to assign in OKB9

Dear Seniors,
G L account : Scrap Sales:
For this  GL a/c ,  cost  element created  with  Cost element category u201C11u201D (Revenues).
Now in OKB9   i want to make assignments:
With each b.area and  cost centers.
Now my doubt is :
In OKB9  which type of cost center I need to assign from the below.
1.Cost center should be with
Cost  cntr category u201CFu201D  (Production)
Or
2.Cost center category u201DVu201D (Sales)
and another doubts is , in Cost center -control tab: Actual revenues check box,  should i select or not in any case.
Please clarify my doubt.

As scrap sales are revenue to the company, undernoted  things to be noted here :
1.  The cost element category is V - Sales and the control indicator actual revenues box to be unticked.
     The posting will be statistical for revenue elements.
2.  The revenue recognition has to be equally done in VKOA for the account assignment of this account.
3.  You can create a seperate order type for scrap sales and a sales pricing procedure in SD.
4.  Check whether the scraps are defined to capture Tax Collected at Source, if so, you have to define
     condition types for them too.
5.  If the material itself is defined as scrap material then in Material master the Profit Center would have
     been assigned and to capture the revenue assign the scrap sales revenue in VKOA.

    Hi,
    As mentioned above the common is to assign one cost center. You will see it in IT0001. But in case you need mor cost center to be assign to one employee you have the option to go to IT0027 and in there you may assign more cost centers base on different percentage.

  • Scrap Sales-VAT Condition Type Not Copying into Billing Document.

    Dear All
    I am facing problem while billing a scrap sales order.
    1. Even though condition record has been maintained for JIVP, the condition is not picked automatically.
    2. I enter it manually and save the document and later do delivery and billing; in billing, if I go to Conditions Tab, I do not see VAT condition copied into the document.
    Naturally, when I am doing analysis, only PR00 condition type is showing.
    Kindly require your suggestion as to where I might have gone wrong.

    It is fine to press Release to Accounting button, but the issue has not yet been identified to fix and then Release to Accounting.
    When I go to document flow and check the accounting documents in Goods Issue Document, Accounting document has not been created only, only Profit Centre and Controlling Documents are created. Am looking on the same y it has happened like this.

    First need to understand what is the use of Hybrid Provider in what cases we prefer provider.
    Multiprovider  :can be created based on DSO & Infocube
    Hybrid Provider : Can Be created based on DSO / HybridProviders based on direct access.

    There are no settings to get Hybrid provider data Or Multiprovider data in Bex .
    Even though if we need to do any settings we can do it in SPRO , check once in SPRO tcode related to Bex reporting  settings.

  • Several cost centers in one sales order

    The situation is.
    Weu2019ve got the task to find solution how to create sales order document with several cost centers.
    Now we use order reason to assign cost center in sales order.
    We use only one order reason in one document and it means one cost center in one sales order document.
    But we need to have opportunity to choose several cost centers. We mean assign different cost center for each item.
    For example sales order items:
    Material 1: Electricity u2013 X1 (cost center u2013 Y1);
    Material 2: Gas u2013 X2 (cost center u2013 Y2 );
    Material 3: Petrol u2013 X3 (cost center u2013 Y3);
    u2026
    Material n: Services u2013 Xn (cost center - Yn).
    The document sequence :Quotation (VA21) -> SALES order (VA01) -> Billing (VF01)
    Could you give me the recommendation or advice for this task?

    The Cost Center Determination settings is in OVF3, the standard works only at the header level though, so it would not work if cost center is needed on the line item.
    For this case I suggest to try from CO view:
    A material is linked to a profit center. From this profit center you can determine a cost center using txn OKB9
    In combination with the material's account assignment field and account determination customizing, an alternate revenue account can be determined for this material. ("Normal" revenue accounts are to be used in combination with CO-PA).
    If this account is a cost element with category type "1" you need the entries in OKB9.

  • Multiple Cost Centers in PO

    When a PO is entered with Multiple Cost Centers, and Account Assignment Cateogry K,  the GR Non-Valuated indicator in the item details (Delivery Tab), gets checked automatically. This caused the subsequent GRN to be non valuated as well and no accounting document were posted at the time of GRN. How can this be rectified ? i.e How to enter a PO with multiple cost centers and Acct Assignment Category K, which is valuated and thus costs are allocated at the time of GRN  (mvt type 101) ?

    You GR is not valuated for  Cost center PO as GR Non-Valuated Check box selected for cost object K which can be cross checked in OME9 t.code for account assignment category K,if want GR valuated, just remove the check box and create PO, do GR and find the difference.
    As you want to post multiple accounts with single cost center, then use t.code:OME9, double click K, and enter 2 in I 1D-Acct assignment field instead of 1 and save. Now create PO, do GR and find the difference.

    I have a cost center reporting role which has an object  K_CSKS where we maintain cost center values. Now we have a many CCs maintained for this object. SO manager of CC 100 can also see reports for CC 200 which we want to restrict. How can we restrict CC access for a user. I want to avoid creation of 100s of roles by each CC.

    I suggest you to do  the following :
    each cost center belong to a cost center group. you can see the connections with transaction KS13.
    Anyway , to make the creation of this roles easier, you need that the fields KOSTKL (cost center) and the field RESPAREA (CO-OM Responsibility Area) will be in the ORGLEVEL area.
    when this fields are there , you create a master role with all the transaction that are needed to manager of CC.
    you create the first derive role with a specific cc or a cost center group which contain his cost centers .
    the second derive role is a copy of the first one and all you need to do is to update the new cc and the cost center group at the orglevel area.

    In process manufacturing (that is, when you are using process orders) when you want to analyze the costs by period rather than by lot
    Repetitive manufacturing : In repetitive manufacturing you always use product cost collectors as cost objects.

    u2022 A separate product cost collector can be created for each production version or material. The collected costs are settled to inventory at the end of the period.

    Run report KS13 - Cost Centers: Master Data Report . add profit center to your layout. It lists all the cost center master data.

    they advised to use the access sequence <b>JIND</b> which consists of condition tables in the order given below

    all CO groups are stored in tables SETHEADER, SETLEAF, SETNODE. The values assigned to groups are stored in SETLEAF, for cost centre groups: SetClass 0101, SetName: the name of your cost center group (no matter if its standard hierarchy or not).
