Hi All,
I need to make some fields in SES as display. I checked different Field Selection options in SES screen layout; like ML81, ML82, PT9, 4, 5, etc; but nothing has any effect in service entry sheet. Please advise.

In this case, please check whether the Note 950061 is implemented in
your system and also please make sure that this customizing options are
done,
OLME > Account Assignment > Maintain Account Assignment Categories and
check as per your account assignment settings.
SPRO ->Material Management->External Services management->Define Screen
Layout and double click on the Service entry sheet

Hi All,
In customizing under external service management, SAP has provided option for customizing screen layout for service PR,OP Entry sheet etc., However, like other screen layouts, we can not make out which field is meant for which field and hence changing is also teadious process.
Can we get teh list of fields and their number of appearance in field sel 1 and 2.?

We were using are using ECC 6.0. System does provodes help on double clicking the field in the first screen it self. If we are go into details from the initial screen, then the fields are editable but no help is available.

Screen layout in PR at item category level
Hello All,
Can we control / how to control screen layout settings of PR on the basis of item category selected?. If i select D item category, then service tab will appear in item detail. I want the ''short text field'' in the service tab next to the ' service number'' to be in display field.
The requirement is to restrict user from creating service lines without service master records.
If i select the PR documnet type - filed selection, the short description coming in item overview is changing to display mode. But its is not i want.

I checked that. If i set that for FSK 1, it will reflect in all PRs where item category is D. I want to restrict it to just one PR Service document type. I tried with adding the FSK assigned to one PR doument type in the cinfuguration you mentioned . But system is not responding. It is only considering the change made in FSK 1. If you delete FSK 1 from that configuration, you cant even create a service PR. How can i restrict the service short description for one service PR doc type to display mode ?
I will make sure your effort doesnt go noted.

we are facing one serious problem we are making changes in screen layout of the PO and PR but the changes we made are not visible i.e there is no effect of these changes for example we made item category and account assignment mandatory still system does not have effect on this and it proceed further without entering any value for item category and account assignment. Please help to resolve this issue..

Hi Experts,
A have a request about the screen layout of a requisition.
The Plant in transaction ME51N has to be mandatory even if the item is a service.
I flagged the mandatory field in customizing in all the involved field selection keys, but nothing changed.
Could I check other settings in customizing?
Thanks very muchI set the mandatory flag for the document type, PT1B and PT9B. But it doesn't work.
The situation changes if I choose in the requisition item the account category different from unassigned (U).
I checked in the account determination category but there isn't the possibility to manage the field Plant.

Folder shortcuts are not included in Start Screen Layout GPO, RDS 2012 R2

I've recently installed Remote Desktop Services 2012 R2 and i'm having some trouble with the Start Screen Layout GPO. The application icons that i've included are being regenerated on the users start screens but not the folder shortcuts, even though
they are included in the .XML layout file. Does anybody know if there is a way to get them to show up to? Here is the contents of the .XML file.

How can I retrieve an existing .dtsx File out on Integration Services Catalog
I have a problem with an older SSIS Package and I am trying to decipher what exactly it does. I see the Package in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and in our Server and under
Integration Services Catalog. It has a .dtsx extension on it.
Is there any way that I can copy this Package, this .dtsx file, and open it Microsoft Visual Studio to see what exactly it does?
There doesn't seem to be anything available when I <Right-Click> on the .dtsx Package within Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to Save As or anything similar. This is the first time I've ever had to look at something existing in the SSIS World.
I just don't know how to get it out and reference and view it is all.

Based on your description, you want to export a .dtsx package file from Integration Services Catalogs, then open it in SQL Server Data Tools.
Based on my test, we can create a project based on a project in Integration Services Catalogs, then we can look into the package in the project. For more details, please refer to the following steps:
Open SQL Server Data Tools, Click File, point to New, and click Project.
Expand Business Intelligence, and click Integration Services.
Select Integration Services Import Wizard in the middle pane, type a name for the solution, project, and specify the folder for the project, and then click OK.
In the Select Source page, select Integration Services Catalog option, specify the name of database server instance on which the catalog exists, and the path to the project in the catalog.
Click Next on the Select Source page to see the Review page.
Click Import to create a new Integration Services project based on the one you selected.
Double-click the desired package name to open the package in the project.

There are 2 set-up parts:
General setting that is working for all depreciation area's
Chart-of-Dep.-Dependent Screen Layout/Acct Assignment (Tcode: ANK1)
When you have only 1 area it don't have sense to create Chart-of-Dep.-Dependent Screen Layout/Acct Assignment.
For me 20 Chart-of-Dep are using the standard one and for 1 is using his own Chart-of-Dep.-Dependent Screen Layout/Acct Assignment
This is the reason for the errors -

As mentioned in the quoted text, this service catalogue goes beyond the standard infrastructure.
Let’s say, a user wants to deploy a new email services, or in your example, extends or create a new web-portal (i.e. for HR to view and manage holiday, staff absence and benefits).
Your solution will need to interact somehow with the 3rd party vendor application that is capable building such portal I believe.
Without disclosing to many information, I assume the portal is linked to backend VM,s that spin up requested resources (and more magic of course). Perhaps I am mixing this up with another cisco product where a user can go on the portal and spin up virtual Firewalls, virtual Routers can be provisioned in now time.
Out if interest; Is this product also known as Mozart? (project code within Cisco?)

the field GR in the PO item is controlled by the usage of material being used, Account assignment category.
In case of material which is Quantified & Valuated in the Plant, you cannot remove the GR & IR flag.
In case of account assigned PO's this indicator is changeable.
Using screen layouts you cannot control them.

Screen Layout Field in the Asset Master Record
What is the use of the screen in the asset master record, ANLA-FELEI?
We have some assets where there are different values between this screen layout and the screen layout defined at the asset class (i.e. through configuration).
It seems the one defined within the asset class takes precedence.HI
Scree Layout controls the diplay of fields, it may not be necessary for a user to use all the fileds provided by SAP. Hence the options like Required, Optional and Suppress are used to control the screen diplay and the TABs to be displayed based on the need.
Asses within the same class will have same fields since the screen layout are assigned to an Asset class.
Scree layout for the Tab Depreciation Area can also be controlled with the screen layout defied for the Depreciation Area. With this one can have different screen layouts per dep. area.
