Screen layout problem

Dear Gurus
we are facing one serious problem we are making changes in screen layout of the PO and PR but the changes we made are not visible i.e there is no effect of these changes for example we made item category and account assignment mandatory still system does not have effect on this and it proceed further without entering any value for item category and account assignment. Please help to resolve this issue..

here check which field selection ur using in std it is NBF
go to  SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Define Screen Layout at Document Level
here go to ur field selection NBF here and in Basic data, item tick item cat and acct assignment as mandetory

  • Organizer screen layout problems

    Whenever I open the Organizer in PSE 7 I normally see on the left side of the screen the thumbnails for the most resent additions to my catalog.  The right hand side of the screen is divided into 3 section from top albums, then keyword tabs & finally the section that has tabs to EXIF data,where picture is located on hard drive etc.
    My problem is that I must be doing something wrong because the last section with the EXIF data, file location etc. disappears from the screen & I never know how to restore it.Is there some easy way to restore my old settings?  Can the layout of the entire screen be altered & kept any way you want it?

  • Intermittent Screen Layout Problem

    I have an intermittent problem, so far reported by only a few users on Win XP and Mac systems.  Basically, I have a bunch of components inside a VBox, and the VBox is inside a WindowedApplication.  What's happening is that for just these few people, the VBox doesn't fill the window (it's height and width are set to 100%).  No clue why that is happening, or even what to play with to try to fix it.  I can't duplicate it on my machine and the app is huge, so I can't give you code, I need some things to try.
    One thing I did try after reading through the forums was adding this line to the window:
    addedToStage="event.currentTarget.stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.SHOW_ALL"
    That actually causes a similar behavior where the VBox doesn't fill the window.  May or may not be related, but I thought I'd mention it.

  • Screen layout problem in 2004

    Although I am using SBO 2004 I created a screen using screen painter in 2005 because of the way it handles pane levels. The screen is fine until the user maximise's it and when they click on one of the tab buttons the layout seems to go out of line.
    Just wondered if anyone had any ideas ?

    Hello,
    You have to handle the click on the pan by adding the code to change it.
    if you click on pane 1, you have to catch the event and then set the pane level of the pane
    oForm.PaneLevel=1
    For your second point, you have two posibilities, change the form border style (4 won't let them maximize your form), or you'll need to catch et_FORM_RESIZE event, to modify the left and top position of your items, following the Height and width of your form.

  • Safari 5 screen layout problem: help

    Suddenly safari 5.0.3 showed many pages (incl. apple.com) in a strange layout. All frames below the other and messed up fonts. The page becomes unreadable.
    I reinstalled Safari 4.0.3 form my original Mac DVD (Snow Leopard) and the problem is gone.
    Updating safari to 5.0.3 (downloaded from internet) brings the same problem back.
    My other macbook and imac do not have this problem. Safari 5.0.3 runs perfectly fine on those.
    Any ideas, or am I suddenly stuck with the previous version of safari on my macbook pro?

    Thank you all for your replies. I have tried all your methods:
    Checking the fontbook for duplicates and resolving this (found duplicates and resolved those).
    Booting in safe mode and rebooting normally again.
    Undoing the fontbook (removing the com.apple.fontbook.plist).
    And I even resorted to reinstalling (with the help of Pacifist) the fonts from my OSX DVD.
    The result is that now I only have one series of conflict left in my fontbook: Helvetica Neue of which I now have both a dfont and a ttf version (I have the latest OS X version 10.6.6) and I don't know which to remove.
    The result for Safari 5 is however still the same. Firefox has no problems, Safari 4 series also not (when I revert to this using the original DVD for installation). Only Safari Version 5.0.3 (6533.19.4) has the problem.
    Do you have anymore ideas? I like Safari better than Firefox and I was actually quite happy with the latest version until the sudden problem (cause unknown) happened. I hope I can solve it somehow.

    Some basics: We are using Robohelp 10 to  generate multiscreen  html5 output. We used the pharmaceutical  screen layout downloaded from:  http://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/robohelp-screen-profiles-layouts.html but modified it to match our GUI.
    We are having a problem with the browse sequence back and browse sequence next buttons placed in the screen layout from the widgets tool bar. We are in no way experts at this part of Robohelp...and the css portion of all this is a bit of mystery but we have managed to get mostly what we need. Now we just need these buttons to work. In the past we used Airhelp and things worked great. Can anyone help us understand why the sequence buttons are not showing up in the output even though it does in the topic preview?

  • Screen Layout Display problem

    Hi,
    I am facing a problem in SE51 where I cannot see the screen layout properly.
    All free text is displayed and GUI is improper.
    From the same desktop, if I access other server, I can see the screens properly in SE51
    Any idea what should be done?
    We dont have BASIS support here. Looks like a local system problem.

    In SE51 . Click on menu Utility - > Setting.
    See that the graphical screen painter in checked.
    Even after this you donot get to see screen painter ( graphical) then your GUI installation may be faulty.
    You can still work in non graphical mode but its difficult.

  • MM PO Layout problem

    Hello MM gurus,
    I seem to have a peculiar MM issue which I am not able to figure out. Whenever I display a Purchase Order using ME23N in the QA system, I am able to see field column such as Tracking Number in the Item overview (not Item details). When i try to view the same PO in the Production system, i do not see that column at all.
    I have already
    a) Checked the customizing settings " Define Screen Layout at doc level" between QA and production. No Anomalies there. (I have checked NBF and PTOF field groups)
    b) checked if there are any variants present in the PO layout - Everything Standard. No Variants at all.
    c) Checked if is it because of any personalised settings in the PO and again could not find anything interesting there.
    d) Checked prior postings for a similar problem in Sapfans and couldn't find any.
    So my fellow MM'ers, any help that you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

    I had already tried whatever you had suggested. I cannot see the "Administrator" button when i login to Production. This could probably be an access issue. But what baffles me most is that when i view the settings in production by looking at the entries in TCVIEW table, the check in the Invisible column for this field (BEDNR) is not there. which means it is visible. But when i display in the PO it is not visible. I tried to very carefully hover my mouse over these fields so that i can catch it and expand it. But to no vain.

  • Change in Screen Layout of PO for a particular Item category

    Hi,
    We are facing a typical issue after Upgrade of our system from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
    Whenever we try to create a PO (in the newly upgraded system) with the Item category S (Third Party PO), the material number field goes blank and it becomes Non-Editable (even before saving the PO)...
    However, on saving, EKPO table has the entries for the material number specified before entering the Item Category S. If we try to display the PO, it shows blank in the MATNR field.
    This works fine with other item categories......we see this problem only with the item category S.
    All the configurations (Screen Layout for Document Type, External Representation of Item category) are fine....but still we are facing this problem....
    Any suggestions on this?

    Hi Ninad,
    I think I have mentioned it very clearly that it works for other item categories assigned to the same document type. It is a very basic setting that one has to check for issues related to PO screen layouts and I have done all those checks.
    As stated earlier, this issue has come up after Upgrade, so just want to know if there is any known SAP Note or solution to this problem (if someone has faced it earlier).

  • Define Account group with screen Layout (Vendor)

    Normally, for Intra-Inter company suppliers, we don't apply Withholding Tax.
    In the customizing of vendor account group, for the group "Inter-Intra company suppliers", witholding Tax informations are suppressed.
    The problem is i want to change that only for one company code. Because in Portugal, there is Withholding Tax applied for Intra-Inter company suppliers.
    Is it possible to change Account group screen layout of that account group only for One Company code ? And how ?

    There is screen layout per company code (vendor), but what i need is per company code and per account group.
    This means, for a specific Account group, i need a sepcific screen layout only for a specific company code.
    I think it's not possible....

    Hi,
    Here, I have a bad layout problem with amarok 2.02. Amarok does not fit on my screen which is 1400 pixels large! I cannot reduce the part where the collection is shown. So that it is really unpractical to use.

    I tried to install svn version but I stopped after 3 hours of compilation, it is quite a big application.

    Well, I tried amarok2-devel 2.0.90-1 but the problem of graphic layout remains similar, no improvement. Is it normall? Maybe amarok is only available for computer with screen >= 1600x1200  or is there an hidden configuration file where I could tweek this?

  • Urgent: Layout problem in "light inner page"

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing a problem in portal content area on external facing portal. I see a vertical scroll bar which restricts application from being displayed on entire screen.
    I am getting this problem after a patching of EP 7.0, before patching every thing was running fine.
    To me it looks like a layout problem in "light inner page", When I use "Light - 1: column (Full width)" layout I get a vertical scroll bar on portal. When I use default layout then this vertical scroll bar disappears but I see an empty navigation bar on left side which is not required.
    Can some one advise a solution for this.

    I have developed screen layout in SE51 and same is used in my program.Program is working fine but the problem is in column order.I designed layout in SE51 by copying structure from ABAP dictionary and same has been used in my program but output layout column order is completely different from SE51 screen layout.When i check this on Se51,everything is in order.
    My program is referring the same screen number and program.there is only one screen i.e 100.
    How do we fix this problem.

    Looks like, your table settings got changed for the table control on the screen.
    Run your program.
    Now, on the screen you can find out the "Table Settings" in the Top Right corner of the Table control as ICON.
    Press the Icon and it will bring the Table Settings screen.
    In the Current Settings, choose the Basic Settings ... save and close.

    Hi all,
    In PO, there is field "Outline agreement" originally set to mandatory field.
    I'd like to set it optional temporarily to delete some items that is no contract in some PO.
    Therefore I go to the IMG Purchase Order > Define Screen Layout at Document Level to set the field to optional.
    It works fine. And afterwards, I reset the field to mandatory.
    The problem is that when I try to change the PO again, it does not give me the error as expected.
    And it is found that it only gives error when I add new PO item and it seems that it only checks for the 1st PO item.
