Screen Order in OPA ( Summary Screen to Question Screen)

I designed both Summary screen and Question screen in OPM. How to create the screen order so that summary screen will call specific question screen instead on Automatic screen?

Notes on terminology:
OPM is the development environment. It is where you write rules in Word and Excel documents, create screens etc, etc.
OPA is a generic term for the technology as a whole but is usually used to refer to actual deployments of the rules engine itself. You provide the engine with data in some way (dependent on your deployment channel) and it gives you back an answer in some way. There are various extension mechanisms available to allow you to do things like get information in from a web-service.
So in answer to your question (as you phrased it):
There are no mechanisms that ship with the product to have data consumed by OPM which is the place that you create rules for later execution in OPA. You would have to code something specifically to do whatever it is you want to do.
What benefit will the web-service provide to someone creating rules? Why do you want to pass information from a web-service into the rules development environment? I'm not saying that there is no use case, I'm just saying that it's not one I've ever heard people ask for before (except in those cases where they got the terminology confused and were actually asking about how to use web-services with OPA but said OPM).
Assuming that you still think this is something you want to do can you please explain why you would want to do that? (If you can explain your use case then that can help the team who build the product to think about ways that they could make it easier in the future)
If you want to know what mechanisms there are for OPA (the rules engine) consuming data that is a different question from the one you asked and for which Jasmine has given you a lot of links to further information - so I'd suggest you read up on them and then refine your question if they do not provide the answer.
If you can make a clearer statement of what you're trying to achieve then you're more likely to get a useful answer (not me, I don't know much about using web-services other than using ODS - Oracle Determination Server - a deployment of the OPA rules engine with a web-service wrapper).

Unable to view planned order from exceptional summary window

Hello All,
I have ran ASCP plan and it details out the exceptions and recommendations, but I am unable to view planned order from exceptional summary window>recommendations>cilck discrete jobs, no planned orders visible. This issue also shows up for other exceptions, on click of exceptions details it shows up the items but unable to take any actions.
I have tried by giving large no of days to view recommendations in preference.
Can someone help me to reslove issue.

We don't have any query built on the exceptional window. As I am able to view below recommendations

Can you please let me know, which is the backend table which stores supply information which are displayed in exceptional window.

We have a requirement .We are revising users who has authority to do certain SD transactions like superviosr has access to all t codes related to sd. billing co ordinatior will have access to all billing docs and t codes.

Through two options, you can achieve this
- Basis team people can control authorization for specific user ids
- Apply transaction / screen variant via shd0 so that you can decide which user can enter / alter datas.

Order Type Wise Summary Report

Hi Experts,
Is there any report or table which would give me order type wise cost summary like sum of cost booked for Rework Cost or sum of cost incurred for maintenance, since these are created as separate order types.
Also further split based on activity type would also be very helpful

Set up Product Summarization Hierarchy in KKR0,say, ZTEST... (Eg: Contr Area, Comp Code , Plant > Material > Order Type)
Then Execute KKRC to collect the summarized data
Now when you run KKBC_HOE, choose ZTEST and execute.. You will the data summarized as desired

CO Production Order month end closing and settlement question

We are a utility without PP module. We use CO Production Order to accumulate costs of assembling components (parts and labor) into a material number that we receipt into inventory. We have questions about month end closing process and the settlement of these CO Production Orders when receipts are not complete or labor is not completely entered at month end.
Basically we need to know how other non-manufacturing companies handle the settlement process.

Order of execution of static { } statements question

I have a question about the order of execution of static statements. Let's imagine the following Class B inheriting of Class A:

Just ordered a Mac Pro, A few questions

I just ordered a Mac Pro, with a few options from apple, and some parts from Newegg. I just have a few questions.
What webcam should I get?
I have 3 500 GB HDD's one for OSX, one for Vista and one for Time Machine. Is there a way to make the OSX drive and windows drive play nice (read/write access) with each other?
How hard is it to set up boot camp?
What does it take to prepare the DVR-115 to be added? Does the front face plate have to be removed?
I'm sure more will come up, so I'll keep asking

Vista will format its drive using NTFS which is a read-only filesystem to OS X. You will not be able to exchange files across the OS X and Vista drives. You can install third-party software in Vista to enable read/write of Mac drives - MacDrive by MediaFour.
Boot Camp setup is quite easy. You already have it so open the Boot Camp Assistant and click the button to print out the documentation.
Installing the extra optical drive is done inside the MP box. There's a mounting tray and assembly. There's an Apple manual for the installation: Optical Drive Carrier Replacement Instructions.

Ordering certain keys in TreeMap / comparator question

I have a TreeMap of currencies. Keys are ("USD", "EUR"...) and each value holds some collection.
I want to sort the TreeMap so that "GBP", "USD", "CAD" and "EUR" are the first 4 keys in the map and other currencies are in their natural order following these 4 keys. I don't know which currency I'll be getting from a certain operation so it could be that "USD" is encountered last which means it will be the last key in my TreeMap.
How would I do this using the Comparator and compareTo method?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just place first order...have a few questions

I just placed my first book order. Large hardcover. With help from this forum I found the hidden pdf file. (I also upped the resolution to 300 dpi) Is this the same file that is emailed to Apple? Roughly how large should this PDF file be? Also, I saved my files as RGB JPEGS. 1712 x 2288. I'm just asking because the PDF file was much smaller in memory size then I expected.
Also, are most people assembling books with JPEGS rather then TIFFS?

I just wanted to write in and say I received my first book the other day. As mentioned above 20 page hardcover. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, but I definitely expected better quality. Some of the images in the book, I have had printed before and had better quality. I understand most likely you will get back what you put in. In other words an original crappy image will get you a crappy printed image. I have had some of the same files printed before and the quality was much better.
With that said..I'll probably order again. I'm having fun with iphoto (in combination with photoshop) and really like the idea of building a book and getting it ordered with a click of a button. Great concept. As a graphic designer of print material for 15 years...I think I had my expectations too high.

There are ota sites to get bridge app with out app world. I think you should be fine but with out 3g service it will be a bit slow for browsing. I have a friend in Bangledesh that can test in a few weeks.

Just ordered my dv7t series notebook and question about inputs

I have an older Promedia Ultra 5.1 sound system that was once connected to my Dell desktop that now crashed. I LOVE these speakers and would really love to use them when I want to play music from my laptop. Are there inputs on the laptop for me to plug these into..there are 3 mini plugs.

Logic will make available any audio inputs that OSX tells it exist.
Run the Audio/MIDI setup utility - are you other devices displayed there? If not, OSX doesn't know about them. Do they have core audio drivers, or are they proprietry Digi things?

CP5.5 - Is it possible to create a quiz summary screen with all questions reviewed on one screen?

I was wondering if it is possible, rather than having a quiz review where you review the quiz questions one screen at a time, if it is possible to create a quiz summary screen, which will provide a summary of which questions were answered incorrectly/correctly (without actually giving the user the correct answers)?
An example of what I'd like to achieve is below:
Is this possible in CP5.5? Perhaps with Advanced Actions/variables?

Hello Loraine,
This is possible using Advanced Actions and variables. After every question, On Success you can set a variable to 1 and create a custom screen where you can show/hide the tick mark graphic based on the variable value set.
For Ex:
- For question 1, on success, set x=1
- On the results screen, correct tick mark graphic is hidden. If x=1, then show the correct tick mark.
Like this you can do for all the questions. Will wait for others also to comment for any quicker solution.

Modification to CRMD_ORDER screen ltem list on General Tab

Hi all, I have a customer requirement that I am sure someone may be able to help. It is technical in nature. I need to add the product availability date to the item list on the general tab in CRMD_ORDER when creating a new order. Currently only Request Date, Last Confirmed Date, and Delivery Group Date appear. I am getting the product availabilty date from ECC and we are actually working with it in the BADI CRM_AV_CHECK_APO_01 - I just need to get it displayed on the screen. Within the BADI it is in the structure ls_schedlin-scheduling-product_avail. The field is not available through 'Layout Settings' on the ALV grid of items.
I have looked for a BADI to change the ALV grid but I have not modified an ALV with a screen exit - is that possible? Our backup plan is to us EEWB to extend the item record to hold this date and then display it on 'Additional Data' tab - is this my only option without copying the screen and creating a custom screen?

Vinay, thank you so much for your reply. I think that would have solved my original requirement, but as you know things sometimes change. Perhaps you can help with the new requirement, we need to display additional dates on the individual item schedule lines tab. Currently we are only seeing the Confirmed date, we need to see the available date which in the CRMD_SCHEDLIN table has an event type of 'CNFPRODAV'. Do you know of a way to get these dates to appear in the listing on this tab? I think there may be a configuration change, but I am not sure. I have looked into some BADI's with no luck, we can't use the list on the General tab as initially thought because some items will have multiple availabilty dates, depending on the order qty.
I guess my question to you, do you know a way of getting related dates and quantities from the CRMD_SCHEDLIN table to appear on the 'Schedule Lines' tab for each individual item?

Quality issues on TV screen after export

Sorri if this is a noob question...
In premiere I have imported an .avi (lossless. via after effects) and then exported using Adobe media encoder.
When I have viewed this on tv its very 'bitmapped' and tends to flicker.
Not sure what settings to use... as this will be used on TV I need them to be as good as possible.
The footage is around 5 mins and needs to fit on a 1gig cf card.
please help, Im desperate.

Now, my question: is this your Project Preset, or more likely your Export setting? It appears that you are using the AVI (uncompressed from AE) as your source material. Is this correct? What is the Field Dominance of your Imported AVI? What is the Field Dominance of your Exported MPEG-2?
Your issue sounds like a Field Dominance/Order problem. Per the other question, you are in PAL-land, right?
If needed, you can run all files through G-Spot to get info on their Field Dominance/Order. This would be the first thing that I would look into. If you have, and all is fine, then ignore my comments. We'll just wait until your example makes it out of queue.
