Hi Experts,
I have faced one problem in Script Converting into PDF format and Sent it thro Mail.
I have used to SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_OTF_PDF FM to convert into PDF format.
and I have used SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 FM for sending a Mail.
Now my Problem is, How is use these FM s Correctly. what are the parameters to be passed to send a mail.
Kindly give the Coding for sending a Mail using these above FMs .

that is easy, you only need to keep the steps to do in mind:
1) find a suitable point to place in your code to do all this for you
2) create a FM that will convert your form into PDF (search a little, this has been done like zillion times here)
3) create a FM that will send the PDF stream (hex data which is accepted by the BCS class as the attachment data)
4) check the email customizing in your system
5) run and enjoy
All the parts has been done here many times, shouldn´t be a problem.

You first need to get the OTF code from the sapscript.
Then you should pass this to the email-function module.

Convert Script output into PDF and save into Unix Directory
Hi,
I had Sales Order Acknowledgement Output and wants to converted to PDFs and then these PDFs to be placed in Unix Directory
on their way to Docs Library.
I am using the following code

If you are using the Function Module "OPEN_FORM" to open the form for printing then in this function module there is an IMPORTING parameter OPTIONS which is of type ITCPO to this parameter "OPTIONS-TDGETOTF" needs to be passed as 'X' which will give you the OTF output in the FM "CLOSE_FORM".
After this call the FM "CONVERT_OTF" and pass the FORMAT as "PDF" which will give you the PDF output in LINES table Parameter. Most important please pass some dummy variable to BIN_FILESIZE variable.
Now by using OPEN DATASET file name FOR OUTPUT IN BINARY MODE and the LOOP the PDF table and use the TRANSFER statement to place the data in the UNIX File and then Finally use the CLOSE DATASET file name.

I have worked on word documents like displaying data in word document from SAP and saving it into local system.

Spool no. data to PDF and then to mail
Hi all ,
My requirement is i have to display all the spool request no.'s for the particular user and from that user will select the particular spool no. . and that particular data has to convert into PDF and that PDF should go to mail id specified in selection screen.
now my prob. is when i am downloading the PDF on desktop it is opening with right data and when i am sending to mail id with the same internal table with PDF format , the file is corrupted and giving some error.

Following is the procedure to convert alv output to spool and then it to PDF Format.
After we display the ALV, we can check whether it is running in the background using system field u2018sy-batchu2018. Then,we call an function module named u2018GET_JOB_RUNTIME_INFOu2019 to get the current job information. Then go to spool request table tbtcp to get the spool id.

Report output to convert to pdf and mail it to recepient

I'm using the below coding for converting the output of the program to pdf and then mail it to the recepient.The coding works for background processsing only can i do the same for online.In the write statement i'm using the sy-repid my program name and when i get the pdf mail i'm getting the name of the program but instead i need to get the output of my program.Can any one help me in correcting the coding to get the output in pdf format.I know where i'm going wrong but this is the first time i'm working with this so new to this....It would be better if i could run the program and get the convertions into pdf through mail instead of background processing.....Please change the coding below to get the same.....

How to convert script output to excel and send through mail in the report
I need a solution for Converting script into EXCEL and sending Excel as a attachment to the mail. In my current Program I am getting OTF data from script and converting into PDF using Function module ' CONVERT_OTF'
And sending PDF as a mail attachment using Function module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' it is working fine but
My current requirement is I need to send Excel as a mail attachment instead of PDF.

Convert a web report into pdf and print (in BW 3.5)
Hello gurus,
i have few web reports ( created using WAD). i am looking for a possibility to convert a web report (viewed in a browser by a user) into pdf and print them and this should be done by pressing a button.
Is it possible in BW 3.5 version?.
could anyone please help me?

Adobe Product API for converting mulptiple formats into PDF and to Embed PDF into PDF ?
Hi Team,
Is there any adobe product that allow us to convert multiple formats into .pdf format and also allow us to attach (embed) other pdf files object into a pdf, is there any .net API for that, I want to do this through programming.

AmitWe want to use this product for our application, for the purpose of converting different files formats into a PDF file and also for attaching files into a single PDF using a web application and windows service. I have to evaluate some features and point regarding this product which are as below:
1. PDF form creation in future requirement.
2. Maximum files size that i can convert into PDF.
3. Memory management when converting N number of files.
4. Compatibility with C#, .Net Framework 4.0, using MS Visual Studio 2010.
5. Support of the product for future.
6. Primary requirement to use PDFLiveCyle for above features.
7. Basic guidelines before using PDFLiveCyle.
8. Ease of coding using PDFLiveCyle.
9. 32bit or 64bit support.
10. Lisencing information

Why do I get a totally blank PDF file whenever I try to convert any (Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010, Version: 14.0.6029.1000) Word document file containing either Mangal Fonts (Hindi) and Tunga Fonts (Kannada) into a PDF file (by using Adobe Acrobat X Standard - English, Version: 10.1.4, Program File Size: 1790 MB, Complete/Full Version) after formatting and reinstalling all the necessary software / softwares (Microsoft Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3 and Windows XP Service Pack 3, Version: 20080414-031525, Program File Size: 9.08 MB)?

Any Word 2010 document file that has been converted into any PDF File unfortunately does not show either the Mangal (Hindi) Fonts or the Tunga (Kannada) Fonts.
The PDF file will unfortunately become/remain totally/fully/completely blank.
When I convert an Excel Workbook having the Tunga Fonts (Kannada) to/into a PDF File, some of the Tunga fonts in the PDF file are legible and some are unfortunately illegible (get superimposed / overwritten on each other).
Perhaps I may get the same result if I try to convert an Excel Workbook having the Mangal Fonts (Hindi) to/into a PDF File with some Mangal fonts being/becoming legible and the rest being/becoming illegible (getting superimposed / overwritten on each other).

I first create a Word Document File or an Excel Workbook File and save it by giving an appropriate file name.
Then I right click on the closed Word Document File or the Excel Workbook File in the file folder and convert it into a PDF by retaining the same/original file name.
The font list of Microsoft Word 2010 claims/says/states that both Mangal and Tunga are True Type fonts and also that these fonts will/would be used on both printer and screen.
In case if there is any text content in English in the beginning it will get converted into PDF only till/until either a Mangal(Hindi)/Tunga(Kannada) Font starts.
The remaining English text content does not get converted into/to PDF the moment a Mangal(Hindi)/Tunga(Kannada) Font starts. If the entire matter is purely (100 per cent) in English text it will fully / completely / totally get converted into a PDF file without any problem.
