Script with diff.page formats

Hi friends,
My client needs some pages of the form in A4 format and some in A3 format.
Could you please let me know how to do it?

change the page size of the layout...
In the SAP Script, Goto -> Header -> Basic Settings
Here you could configure the page settings and their orientation.

Script with 2 pages

hi there,
I have a script with two pages.........
both the pages have windows..... header,main,footer.
script is triggering well with header in both pages. But i can see footer only in second page but not in the first page. How to get the footer in first page also???
And in the main window apart from the data that flows into second page i also have field headings and eventually they are seen in the first page. I want them to be seen in the second page also. How can I do this?

yeah santhosh.
i have created the windows .its working now.
like u said if i have feild headings in main window.....they are repeating for each and every row....as main window is put in a loop.
so i created a small window which just carries the field headings.....and then placed in it both the pages. here it solved.
And coming to footer.......well I have called the write_form for footer after the main window. So technically it has to tigger after main window is triggered. main window is done only in second page as contents flow to page2 and hence footer was not triggered in first page.
So i called the write_form of footer before the write_form of main window. eventually footer triggered in both the pages.
Anyways thanks for your concern and i rewarded the points for your help.

ADOBE READER (9.4.1) prints several files from one Word doc with different pages formats

I work with Word for Mac, version 11.6.1
When I have one document with several pages setup (say different sizes, or landscape and vertical orientation) and I need to convert to PDF, I got several PDF files, one for each page section of my document.
How can I get only one PDF for my whole document ?

Page format for SAP-Script not working in 4.6C

Hi all,
I have a problem regarding check printing.
I am using SAP version 4.6C
The size of paper for check printing is
width = 231 mm
Height = 304 mm
So for this I have created a new page format with these details in SPAD.
Then I assigned this Page format to spool format and assigned that spool format to SAPWIN driver. I have assigned this page format to the SCRIPT that is used for check printing .
But when I am taking the print out for the check with new page format, the printer dont print till the end of page, it prints till the total amount on check and then stops there. So this creates an alignment problem when taking printout for multiple checks.
Please give some solution for this.

I guess you are printing on dot matrix printer. If yes, try to do some physical printer settings for the dot matrix printer by following the printer manual. I guess you have to change the page size.. or set default printer settings... it may help you to solve your problem...
if not goto your device types tab in SPAD and select device types.. select your device from the list (for ex, SAPWIN) click format and goto the format that you have inserted for this device types.. double click on your format, you will see printer Indialization.. try to write code like this
set page length to 8.5 inch (=52 lines at 6 LPI)
\e\0x43\0x44
Note the above hexa decimal value can be obtained by going through the printer manual.

Script printing in 'Letter' format.

Hello All,
I have a SAP script which had Page format 'DINA4' and was printing a correc output.
Due to a change in requirement we have changed the Page Format to 'LETTER',I now find that when I try printing the invoice the spool contains three pages (which is correct) whereas the printer outputs only a single page with the data for all three pages overlapping.
Please let me know your inputs if any of you has faced a similarr situaion before.

Hi Gaurav,
First thing, please check with your basis team about the settings in SPAD.
These are to make sure that the page formats used in scripts are properly set.
And also they are assigned to the output devices (e.g. printer) correct.
If these settings are in place correct then if still required; next you can try is using INCH12 page format.

New Page Format implentation in Sap Scripts and Reports

Hi,
   I want to print Report details and also some of the SAP Script details on the paper size of 350MM width and 310MM Height in the PORTRAIT format.
   So i created new page format with these dimensions.
   How i can use this for reports. So i can set these parameters while taking output from Report.
   Pls specify if any configuration required for this.

In SAPscript, you set the Page Format for the document in the "Page Format" field of the "Basic Settings" page of the documents "Header" information. The popup list of this field will show all available formats in your system, so this is a ggod way to make sure your new format is set up properly.
For reports, page format is set either with the LINE-SIZE addition to the REPORT and NEW-PAGE commands, or through the PARAMETERS addition to the NEW-PAGE command. When you use LINE-SIZE the print system picks the format for you, based on the available formats in the systems.
I don't remember if there is an activation step for Page Formats, or if saving is all you have to do.

Hi!
Multiple page format means landscape and portrait page in one form. This is not possible in SAPscripts.
Coming to SMARTFORMS this is possible, i.e first page output in portrait and second page output in landscape.

Mail app is blank. I can not see any thing but a blank page with blue lined format. It does not shut down either. It just blinks out after a few seconds and the icon is there alone on my home screen then everything goes black and my home screen comes

MY Mail app does not respond in anyway to anything. The icon shows I have over 300 emails but I have no access to them. When I tap on the Mail icon a blank white page comes up with the blue format lines. No emails, no inbox, nothing, not a single letter of the alphabet is there. Within a few seconds it blinks out and I see the icon and my home screen. Soon it just blinks out to black. I am left with the icon at the bottom center of the screen. I have no way to shut it down. I have no access to the emails (300) in my inbox. All that is happening is my memory is getting filled up with emails. I would appreciate any solution to this problem barring deleting my email set up in settings.

If I'm understanding your situation, you've got an iPad running iOS 6.1.3 and the Mail app is not working. I understand you don't want to remove and re-add your email account.
The first thing I would suggest is to make sure your iPad is backed up to iCloud or iTunes.
Do you have an iMAP or a POP email account? When you go online to your email service provider's website, are you able to access the 300 emails in your inbox?
Since the Mail app is part of your iOS operating system, upgrading that software to the latest version, which is 8.1.3 may resolve this issue.

Problem with total page numbers in Scripts

Hi,
I have a problem with total number of pages in the Script.
I have a script of 15 pages.
On every page, I am using &PAGE& of &SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES(C)&.
Problem is : I am getting only single digit for SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES as long as the page number remains in single digit - like -
1 of 1
2 of 1
3 of 1... till 9 of 1.
But from 10th page, it is printing :
10 of 15
11 of 15
12 of 15... till 15 of 15.
So, i think the symbol SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES(C) is filled with value 15 , but it is prinitng only the first digit '1' for pages 1 to 9 and then printing both the digits '15' for pages from 10 onwards.
So, please help me out in this problem.

The CONDENSE option cannot be used on the program icon SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES
(C) without an explicit length specification: This symbol is
only replaced with a value after the form has been completely edited, as the
total number of pages of a form is first known in the program function
END_FORM or CLOSE_FORM. However, the size of the symbol (number of
characters) is reserved correctly when the symbol first occurs, with the
current page number. Therefore, only one character is reserved for option C
(CONDENSE) on pages 1-9, two characters on pages 10-99, and so on.
If you are sure that the total number of pages doesn't cross 99(i.e 2-digit number), then use the FORM pages as SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES(2CZ).
Here Z will suppress the leading zeros, for the total number of pages.

and i saved with same request no but while i was moving it to testing through scc1 i am getting error

When you say field, do you mean specifically a form field, such as a text field? Or is the information regular text on the page?

Windoe 7 Everytime when I close the brouwser by clicking on the x I get a message that a script on the page may be busy, or it maybe stopped responding. Continue or stop script. I never had this problem with XP Sincerely Wiliam email removed

That will be due to an extension that is not working properly, possibly the Better Privacy extension. To test this, if you have Better Privacy installed try disabling it to see if the error stops appearing. To do that, in the Tools menu select Add-ons, then go to the Extensions panel, select Better Privacy in the list, then click on Disable. re-start Firefox to complete the process, then see if the error message appears.
If you do not have Better Privacy installed, repeat this process with the other extensions until you find the culprit. First check any extensions with the initials bp.
If it is Better Privacy, it should work with Firefox 3.6.13 on Windows 7. Make sure you have the latest version, also try uninstalling it and re-installing it, this may help if your version has become corrupted.

If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive.
How to suppress the above error? I tried using WebBrowser.ScriptErrorsSuppressed by setting it to true. But it didn't work for me.
