Scripts totals prinint in main window

Hi,
i want to print gross value, discount,output tax and total amount after printing all line items in main window. can any one tell me where i have to write the code for this gross value, discount,output tax and total amount. i mean how to check the condition that all lines are over to print gross value, discount,output tax and total amount. i need to print this information at the bottom of main window. can any one pls let me know the process.

In the Layout MAIN WINDOW:
1. Create a Text element after the Text element that displays the line items:
/E LINE_ITEMS
&WA-MATNR&,, &WA-MENGE&
/E ELE_TOTAL

Total = &V_TOTAL&
2. In the Print program
Calculate the Total into the Variable V_TOTAL
Then Call the WRITE_FORM after the LOOP .. ENDLOOP
LOOP AT ITAB INTO WA.
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
EXPORTING
ELEMENT = 'LINE_ITEMS'
TYPE = 'BODY'
FUNCTION = 'SET'
WINDOW = 'MAIN' .
ENDLOOP.
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
EXPORTING
ELEMENT = 'ELE_TOTAL'
TYPE = 'BODY'
FUNCTION = 'SET'
WINDOW = 'MAIN' .

Sapscript total pages in main window

Hi,
in main window of my sapscript i need to know total number of pages,
i'm using &sapscript-formpages& but it doesn't work;
also tried with &sapscript-jobpages& but with no result.
In debug it give me "0".
What's the way to know number of pages in MAIN?

Thanks for the reply... I am currently modifying the sapscript F110_PRENUM_CHCK. Here we need only the page "NEXT" for our purpose. For this purpose we deleted pages "FIRST" & "LAST" from my custom sapscript. Now i have only "NEXT" page in my sapscript. I put the code you mentioned even then i don't see overflow happening here. In debug, i saw page as "2".

SAP Script: Include text in MAIN window prints outside MAIN window margins

Hi,
We're facing a peculiar issue. We call a text element in the MAIN window of an SAP Script form using FM WRITE_FORM.
The element has 2 includes.
The problem is that when the content of any of the 2 includes is large enough, the include text prints overflows outside the MAIN window margins on the first page and into the area of the footer window of the same page. It does not automatically flow to the next page MAIN window.
We have checked that the MAIN window and FOOTER window margins do not overlap. Infact they are quite far from each other.
We have tried stuff like using a forced PROTECT, change the para format etc, but nothing solves the problem.
Does anyone have any idea?

You do not need to use the subroutine READ_ORDER_TEXT to get another text name because you already have it: TMP_TXNAM2 .
Pass this value back to your SAPscript, and it is okay.
Or you can even check the text object is empty or not, if no text is found, print 2 empty lines:
still use your subroutine to read the text, if no line is found, set TMP_TXNAM2 to empty, otherwise, no change,
In SAPscript, check the value is empty or not, then print 2 empty line or the text object...

SAP Script need to display main window two times on single page.

So here is my requirement, we need to print check. We are using F110_PRENUM_CHCK and linked with driver prog RFFOUS_C. We have Letter size paper with three sections,
1. Check
2. Voucher Section (containing table of element 515, 525 and 530) 515: Heading, 525 : Regup-Belnr, Regup-XBLNR, Regud-Wrbtr.
                                                                                530: Regup-SGTXT
3. Voucher Section (As a receipt for bank itself) : contains same data as 2nd section.
I tried several things reading all the previous post over here in SDN.
1. Created Z form created two instances of main window it results just single display of table (voucher section) in section two and not in third.
2. I also tried pasting two times same code in single main window which gives only last item line for the table.
3. Created z driver program made changes in Write_form added control form for element 515 that does results in showing element 515 on both the location.
            CALL FUNCTION 'CONTROL_FORM'
              EXPORTING
                command   = 'NEW-WINDOW'
              EXCEPTIONS
                unopened = 1
                unstarted = 2
                OTHERS    = 3.
            CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'

3. For Element 525 and element 530 is not acting same. In the prog 525 = hlp_ep_element. And there are many write_form for this. I tried pasting each and every place same kind of code. It doesnt work. what it do it gives me three pages of output repeating every thing twice and weirdly.
I am need this to be done as I already took so much time solving nothing is working.
Please give me the exact location where to paste this code so I can have two times data of main window.
Or is there any other way to do this....Any way will be good for me as long as it shows two times data in the form.

Regarding Number of MAIN Windows in SAP Script.

SAP Script allows to place a maximum of 99 MAIN Windows. Is it possible to have different content in different MAIN Windows i.e., if i have 2 MAIN Windows in SAP Script with numbers 00 and 01 can i have different contents in these two windows. If possible please give us an example for the same.

My problem is: whenever i am changing the content in MAIN 01, the content in MAIN 00 is also getting changed.
I do not want this to change, i want different content in both of them. Is this possibel if so how.

Printing totals at the end of the main window?

Hi All,
This is Hr related and the data displayed in the main window is regarding the five benefit plans. I need to add the values from each plan. But the number of plans displayed is not constant. The plans for which he is eligible are displayed. So I need to display the totals after completion of the data.
I want to print totals in the main window at the end of the form. The print program is a standard SAP program and it is not to be changed. I had calculated the totals by calling a perform in the script editor. Thats working fine.
But the problem is while displaying it. Is there a solution to print totals at the end of the form without changing the print program or without creating a new element(as it cannot be called from the print program)?

See there are so many element which ends with the ATLAST, like INVEST_AT_LAST.
You need to find out which AT_LAST is triggering in your prorgram. Or, you can use the AT_LAST element of the same family where you put your PERFORM to get the total.
Say if you put your code at BENEFI_AT_EACH_PERSON, you can use the BENEFI_AT_LAST for displaying the TOTAL.

Let us take the page you are using as PAGE1, you can achuve this using the Command Node. call the same page after 6 items as follows
1.create Table.--->Main area , Header and footer.
2.Declare a variable V_count type sy-tabix.
a.Now click on the table tab>Main Area>right Create>Command (insert a command node after the Line type you r using to print the data), in this COMMAND node give the condition V_COUNT = 6. GOTO>PAGE1 (it maens you r triggering the new page after the 6 lines.
b. after this command noder insert the Program lines heate increase the value of V_COUNT.
Maintain another variable the use that for page totals...
total can be doneautomatically by using the TABle-->CALCULATION TAB.

yes we can put condition.....to display the footer window get printed after all data in main window gets over.........................assingn u r footer window to next page [ i.e u r second page] ...and write the condition
In such senario no need to use a window for footer.
In the Script form:
-> In the Main Window itself after all the main data create an Element.
-> Use BOTTOM and END-BOTTOM; write your footer information between them.
In your Driver Program:
-> After printing all the data (means after passing to form and before closing the form) call one WRITE-FORM with the footer element.

You need to create an element in the MAIN window. You can do it in two ways:
1. In SE71, you can create:
/:E FOOTER
/:BOTTOM
Text
/:ENDBOTTOM
In the print program, just call this element.
2. In you print program, populate parameter type = BOTTOM in FM, WRITE_FORM.
Ex.
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
EXPORTING
element = 'FOOTER'
type = 'MAIN'
window = 'BOTTOM'
EXCEPTIONS....
However, if you issue new page having new header data. Thus, new item data. And if it will exceed more than 1 page, the footer will still appear. To solve this, you need to create a new element in MAIN. Ex. INIT_FOOTER. It just contains the following:
/:E INIT_FOOTER
/:BOTTOM
/:ENDBOTTOM
Call this after passing all item data.

Main window twice

Hi.
I have requirement to print main window twice. Please help me out.
1) In my script i make two main windows like MAIN 00, MAIN 01.
2) In MAIN 00 i have ELEMENT 525 and 525-n( i am created). This two available in MAIN 02 also.
3) In my Driver Program, I have two WRITE_FORMS for each ELEMENT.
But i didnt get data twice.

Hi Sreenu ,
Since you want 2 main windows you have selected Main 00 and Main 01 .
1 . Now in script Align the 2 windows properly i.e see that they do not over lap on each other .
2 . Use the Statement NEW-WINDOW to trigger a new Main Window .
3 . Now call the elements of the other Main Window .
Hereu2019s a sample(in Script) ,
Element-525
Element-525n
NEW-WINDOW

For the Line items, put a ELEMENT in the Smartform, and you will call this with in the LOOP and ENDLOOP, so here with in the LOOP count the TOTAL value.
then create new element after the Line item Element, and call this Element after the Line items prints,
/E LINE_ITEM
&1& &2 & &3&     " This will be in the loop and you need to caliculate the totla here
/E SUB_TOTAL.
&SUb_TOTAL& " After all the line items pritns then call this Element

I wanted to know as to why is it possible to create multiple main window in SAP Script.
      In most theory it is written a SAP Script can only use 1 main window, If thats the case why is it still possible to create more than 1 of them.
      Can you explain its use and functionality.

U can have multiple main windows in Sapscripts(Upto 99)
Main Windows (MAIN)
Each form must have one window of type MAIN. Such a window is called the main window of the form. For SAPscript forms, the main window has a central meaning:-
? It controls the page break.
? It contains the text body that may cover several pages.
? It allows to fix text elements at the upper and lower margins of the allocated page window (for example, for column headings).
As soon as a window of type MAIN is full, SAPscript automatically triggers a page break and continues to output the remaining text in the main window of the subsequent page. Page windows of type MAIN have the same width throughout the form. The SAPscript composer thus avoids reformatting of the text after each page break.
If a page does not have a main window, the system implicitly processes all other windows of the page and continues with the subsequent page. This page must not call itself as subsequent page (recursive call), since this would produce an endless loop. In such a case, SAPscript terminates the output after three subsequent pages.
For printing header lines or totals, the different output areas of the main window are of special importance.
The diffetent Output areas of main window are

                                                                  BOTTOM
its use and functionality.*
Suppose you have requirement that you r displaying data from two line item tables which can flow multiple pages.
In this case u have to use multiple mail windows.

Main windows in page windows allow you to format text in multiple columns. Define an area in the page window, in which to position the main windows.
Here is the procedure !!
-->Create a page window and assign it to a page.
Choose Edit --> Main windows.
A dialog box appears.
-->Enter values in the fields Area width and Area height in accordance with the input guidelines for main windows.
-->Enter values in the fields Spacing and Number in the Horizontal group if you want to use multiple columns. You can ignore the fields in the Vertical group.
Determine how many columns and line areas are required for label printing. Then enter the corresponding values in the fields in the Horizontal and Vertical groups.
-->The value in the field Left margin varies from main window to main window if multiple columns are used. The following applies:

Left margin of current column + Window width + Horizontal spacing = Left margin of next column
In label printing, the field Upper margin also varies from main window to main window:

Upper margin of current main window + Window height + Vertical spacing = Upper margin of next main window
-->Enter a value in the field Start position.
This is a counter. Enter a starting value which is equal to or greater than 1.
-->The main windows are added to the list.
-->Save your form.

It is possible to have more than one main window in a same page.
You create a main window and simply you copy and past it in the same page.. it will create first main window name as MAIN and other main windows as MAIN01,MAIN02.... up to MAIN99.
Contets flow from MAIN , MAIN01, MAIN02.......................MAIN99. contents after filling the current window it flows to next window(by default, you skip as well with some keyword not sure could be NEW-WINDOW)
you want print the main window data twice? or you want to create two main window in the same page ?
1. give two copies in the no of copies in the output type screen ( Which pop up is coming after excute the program ).
2. create two page with the same script form.
3. you can write the coding inside the program to print twice the same page.
