Scrolling for autoSuggestBehavior

Hello,
I did autoSuggestBehavior for an input text field as described in chapter 062 from [http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/index-101235.html] (nice detailed description - thanks).
This input text field is placed on pop-up window - and problem is -> when I set "-1" for iterator corresponding to LookUpViewObject (in order to not limit suggested list of values) - then - huge scrolling appears ON PARENT PAGE (neither on pop-up autosuggested list, nor on pop-up window where input text field is placed, but on Main Page) allowing to scroll all the suggested items - but looking not sympathetically..
so - can somebody help me plz?

In between times, Dear Gurus, comment plz this light instructions [http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/explaining-autosuggestbehavior-092525.html] - when "Insert Auto Suggest Behavior" - what implied to be "#{bindings.FirstName.suggestedItems}" - ? It does not work if implement this directly following to those instructions (quite understandable - where "suggestedItems" are defined for the attribute?..)

Hi,
there is no scrollbar with suggest items itself. The recommendation though is to limit the hits returned by the suggest items list. As you can imagine that this behavior becomes quite expensive when you overuse it. The steps mentioned in the other doc you point to should still work though

I need horizontal scroll for a page in Apex 4. I saw an old thread about horizontal scroll using Apex 3.2. Below is the link for that thread where vee gave some plugin code to achieve this scrolling:

I saved the code in the thread as js file and tried to import it as a plugin but the import was unsuccessful saying that was not a plugin file.
Has anybody done it in Apex 4? I will be grateful for guidance to achieve this.

How to hold a texts scroll for 3 seconds then scroll off?

I'm using tweenlite. How do I hold the scroll for 3 seconds and scroll off the screen?
Here is my current tweenlite code.

Okay, I'm not getting what I wanted. Here is my code:

I want the tweenlite to wait 3 seconds and the proceede with scroll off the screen that's why I have the scrollOut function; however, the effect is that the scrolling from right is pausing for 3 seconds every 2 seconds. How do I modify this?

Disable scrolling for an entire document

Can anyone help me with a code sample that will disable scrolling for an entire document?

Sure! You could write a script which is executed from the top level subform's ("form1" by default) Enter event and looks for all fields on the form and sets their
doNotScroll property to true. Note that the script will have to execute on the Enter event (which will be called the moment the user sets focus to any field on the form) because any other event is too "soon" for the
doNotScroll property setting to take effect.
I've attached another sample form which demonstrates how to do this. Check-out the script in the form1 object's Enter event. The
DisableScrolling method is recursive and finds all child fields within all possible container objects (such as subforms, areas, exclusion groups) found in the XFA language. For each field found which supports the
doNotScroll property, it sets that property to true. Note the boolean variable used to guard against running this script every time focus is set to a field within the form. The script only needs to be executed once.

Alt + Scroll for zooming in Illustrator CC

Alt + scroll for zooming does not work as smooth as before in the january update to Illustrator CC. Does anyone else have this problem?

You can set the layout of the PGL to scroll, and put it inside a panel Stretch layout.
Something like

How to use scroll for tablecontrol in BDC

Hai Experts,
   I have created BDC for IA05 tcode. In that am filling table control. that table control view is 15 lines, but i have to fill 20 entries.
for this i am using the below code. In debugging m checking that '=P+' is there in BDCDATA.
But while executing in foreground this '=P+' is not triggering. Then only 15 line items are creating.
Loop at it_fill.
l_count = l_count + 1.
IF l_count = 15.
    PERFORM bdc_field       USING 'BDC_OKCODE'
                                                     '=P+'.
        CLEAR l_count.
        l_count = l_count + 1.
ENDIF.
endloop.

I think you should also call the screen and the field in the perform BDC while using P++. To confirm do a dummy recording on the same transaction and scroll down while recording and use the code generated as a reference.

How can I create a vertical scroll for text in a 'div' in CSS Dreamweaver?

Hi there,
I need to flow a lot of text into a CSS div. However, I don't want a big long page as it will look ugly and be inconsistent with the other pages in the site.
I need to be able to put in a vertical scroll directly in the div containing the text (not on the whole page) so the user can scroll the text down without moving down the whole page.
Is there a way for me to do this?
I'm a beginner to CSS so a step by step for dummies approach would be most helpful.

Mouse won't scroll for one User but works for another

I recently updated to a new Imac and restored the computer from time machine from our old IMac which didn't have mountain lion update. All works fine except when logged onto our Kids account the mouse wont scroll pages by sliding finger on the mouse. Tried changing in Preferences when logged on to this user to no avail. Mouse scrolls perfectly when logged on as Administrator.

Were these Kids' account migrated from the older OS version? If so I suspect some 3rd party app that is no longer working in 10.8
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD into one of those accounts, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for action in Safe Mode...
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed. Also look in System Preferences' Other row.

CS6 Mouse Wheel Scrolling for Fonts in Character Panel

in Illustrator CS6 I can no longer use my mouse wheel to scroll the list of fonts [which appear when you click the down arrow next to the font family] in the Character control panel. I could do this in CS5.
Anyone know how to fix this? I think it dos not work in Photoshop CS6 either.

Yes, if I simply hover my mouse over the Font drop down it allows me to scroll through fonts [but only shows the single, selected font]. This is quite helpful, if I have text selected, scrolling through fonts quickly changes my selected text to the scrolled to font, allowing me to preview fonts fast.
While I do love and use the feature, I still often like to pull up the "full drop down list" of fonts like I've previously mentioned and use the mouse wheel to scroll through the list quickly. This enables me to see many fonts at once, instead of just a single one at a time. But again, this is where the mouse scroll wheel does not seem to scroll the list. I was able to scroll though the list in older versions of Illustrator CS.
I've attached screenshots to show the specific "list" i'm referring to, just so you fully understand what i'm talking about (which I think you already do).

Horizontal scroll for Tree component scrolls too far right

I've enabled the horizontal scroll bar for the Tree component.
But the scroll bar allows the user to scroll very far to the right into blank space.
The maximum width of my components measures 124px, as calculated by measureWidthOfItems(0,0), and I've verified this by measuring pixels of a screen shot.
I have tried adding an event to set the Tree.maxHorizontalScrollPosition, and I traced the value that I'm setting it to, and I also traced the value that it actually assumed after I set it. Both are 124px.
So I can't understand the behavior. I can scroll something more like ~400px to the right with lots of blank space.
Any ideas why?

Hmm, I'm not sure why this works, but it works, so for completeness here's what I did (in case anyone else runs across this same thread):

I call the above code whenever the window is resized (in my app there are 2 places that can cause a resize of the window, I manually added calls to a function with the above code). There is also an example out there that resizes any time the window is resized, but if you do this then you really can't have liveDragging=true in a DividedBox (which I have) because the cost of resizing is very high and overtaxes the cpu when called many times consecutively. I just call it when the dragging is finished (that way I have live dragging enabled, but it only updates the scroll bars when the user stops dragging, which is visually acceptable).

Natural scroll for scrollbars as well as mouse

Natural scroll moves the content instead of the viewport. – Great, I love it!
However the scrollbars still move the viewport over the content. – This is confusing and muddies the otherwise great new way of scrolling.
I would like for the scrollbar to act on the content instead of the viewport. And I would love it if I could just grab the content wherever and drag it, just like on a touch device.
Is this currently possible, either with apple settings or with third party software?
If not, what's the best way to suggest this as a new feature in an update?

Arrows in a text field / Common scroll for a jlist and a graphic field

I am developing a software which requires me to dynamically add arrows from one list entry to another(depending on the users respone) in a jlist.
Is there any method to do that directly or by means of two parralel fields(one for the list and other for the arrows) controlled by a single scroll????

I don't understand the question, but read the Swing tutorial on "How to Use Lists" which shows the proper way to add and remove items from a JList:
