Scrolling problem with UIDatePicker

Hi,
I have implemented UIDatePicker from UICatalog sample but i could not scroll on PickerView. I have to touch on record one by one for scrolling and it doesn't give me smooth scroll. I have added this picker view on view only.
Following is the my code,

Just hold the mouse upside down and firmly press and scroll the ball for a few times. There's gunk in the sensors (dead skin cells, etc.) and it needs to be cleared — remember the old mice with the rubber ball? Well it the same except the ball is now on top! Next, I take a scrap of paper, fold it in half, and run it along between the ball and the hole to scoop up the loosened gunk. Short of taking the mouse apart to clean it, this is the easiest way to get the scroll ball working properly.

The Mac OS X 10.4.7 Update introduced connection issues as a result of (according to the documentation) "Mail now supports connecting to mail servers through a SOCKS proxy". This probably has nothing to do with your problem, but it'd be worth going to System Preferences > Network and making sure the SOCKS Proxy is not enabled in the network configuration used to connect to the Internet.
Also, it looks like the crashes you're talking about are actually freezes, i.e. Mail becomes unresponsive rather than quitting unexpectedly. In Mail, open Window > Activity Viewer, and see whether Mail displays there what it's doing when it freezes. Actually, you may be able to avoid having to force quit Mail by canceling whatever it's doing (by clicking on the red stop icon of the activity).
Reinstalling Mail will probably accomplish nothing, but it might be worth reinstalling the Combo Update for the type of machine and the version of Mac OS X you're using (which you would have to do anyway if you wanted to reinstall Mail):

Basically, you should verify/repair the startup disk before installing the update, and no applications should be running while installing it.

I know many people who have 30 gig and no wheel problem. I have an 80 gig and no problem. Finding your warranty (or buying the extended warranty) would be useful.

Scrolling problem with adobe digital edition

scrolling problem comes when i am scrolling the book i have installed this in win-7 with x64 bit. the page was stucked in the initial opening page and the page no shoing below are changing when m scrolling. pls help;.

Scrolling problem with video buttons

To illustrate my question, see at http://www.8-16-chalonnais.org/Main.html, option 'videos reportages' : this site is under construction.
There are some thumbs witch are buttons,
every button plays a video. (some of them are not finished).
I would like to join the horizontal scrolling bar with the buttons under and the vertical bar with the buttons at the left to show the other buttons outside the page. Every solution I have tried does not work : the link between each button and the reader is removed and I cannot reconnect it.
I hope given a clear explanation.
Could somebody have a solution ?

TS3048 Scrolling problems with PDF documents

Whenever I open a PDF document in my mac, I am unable to use the mouse to scroll, print or close the documents. I do not have any such problems while working with any other documents i.e. MS OFFICE etc. Why is this problem and what could be the solution?

When you say "Acrobat", do you mean Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro? Or do you mean Adobe Reader?
If it is Adobe Acrobat, I would go to the preflight option and see what information you get there. But no, I have not had the problem myself.

Scrolling problem with integrated ALV in ITS-Mobile Service

Hi everybody,
I have integrated an ALV in my ITS-Template. If the ITS-Service is called from a device with smaller display then a average monitor, the ALV does not fit onto the screen. So the problem is that I am actually unable to get the ALV to use the integrated scrolling, unless the amount of lines is greater then 500.
Does anybody know how to set the amount of lines so the integrated scrolling buttons work with an amount of line smaller then 500?

Problem with UIDatePicker

In UIDatePicker i was setting my date to current date (i.e. 29/09/2009 11:22 AM) and minimum date is also current date with no maximum date. and UIDatePicker mode is "Date & Time"
now problem i was facing is in hour field. All hours less then 11 are grayed out. even 1 PM which is greater then 11 is grayed.only 12 and 11 are in black and all other numbers in hour are grayed, and same thing happen in minutes.
i thought that i was doing some thing wrong in my code so i create a new project, add a uidatepicker set its mode to date and
time and set its minimum date to current time from IB, i didnt write even a
single line of code, and problem still there.
i have some other issues in uidatepicker and found out that they were bug in this control. is this also a bug??? or i m doing some thing wrong.

Scroll problem with touch screen and win 8.1

Hello,
I use icloud on my tablet. If I try to scroll my emails, navigation
and scrolling with my finger is not working properly. I tried several browsers
(Firefox, Chrome, IE) but that didn't change anything.
My wife has as second tablet with the same problem.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with app updates app on your iPad. You may want to consider restarting the device first, and then resetting if that does not work. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Scrolling problem with K7N420 Pro

I've got a K7N420 Pro and a Athalon 1800XP running Window XP Home with 768 MB of DDR 2100 RAM. The problem is the scrolling is terribly slow. Doesn't matter what I use, Explorer, Word, or any other software. Doesn't matter if I use the scroll function of the mouse or the scroll bar on the side of the screen.
The screen setting I'm using is 1024x 768 and it seems a little better at 800x600. I've updated the bios to version 2.6 and I've played around with bios settings and nothing has helped.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Scrolling problem with preview app

Since I use Mavericks I'm not able to scroll with 2 fingers in the preview app. Only the keyboard with the arrows works.
can anybody help me?

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with scrolling in Preview. I found a few resources that I think will help isolate and troubleshoot this issue.
First, try booting your computer into Safe Mode and test it here:

If the issue is not present in Safe Mode, it can mean that a third-party application set to automatically launch may be causing conflicts with Preview.

Scrolling problem with Elan UltraNav driver on Thinkpad L430, running Windows 8.1, Office 365

For some reason, touchpad edge scrolling, two-finger scrolling, and trackpoint+middle-button scrolling all fail to run in Microsoft Word 2013 (Office 365 University). They also fail to run in the Metro Mail App; and they mess with the zoom in Google Chrome. However, all three kinds of scrolling work fine in all other programs I've used, including other Office 365 programs (Excel 2013 and OneNote 2013).
I have the latest version of the driver installed (11.4.30.1). I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it several times, to no avail. I was strongly tempted to leave it uninstalled and use standard Windows middle-click for my scroll function instead, but that doesn't work in Windows Explorer (where the only scrollable area is also clickable).
Thoughts or suggestions?

Trackpoint + middle button scrolling works on all other apps except Google Chrome. This stopped working recently and after some testing I found that it is localized to just Chrome. Works in Firefox, Outlook Mail 2010, Powerpoint 2010, etc. I am using Windows 7 Pro on a X200S. Is there a Chrome setting involved to correct this?

Scrolling Problem with Air Mouse

I'm using a Mac Mini on my living-room TV and I bought an Air Mouse to use, it's a mouse with accelerometer in a tv remote shape, i'm having trouble when some window have scrolling content, like a web page or a folder in Finder with some files. When the mouse pointer is over the window content the scrolling get crazy scrolling to top and bottom in a freak way. I've test the Air Mouse in a PC running Windows and the scrolling works. There is a way that I can disable the scrolling? and just scroll clicking at side bar e pulling.

Try:
Go to "System settings" and on "Generally" activate the button "roll bar always".
On the button "mouse" you can disable the first field scroll direction.
Than try it again with scrolling on the bar.
Sorry for the words with "..." I'm not sure it is the right name on english.

Scrolling Problem with NSTableView

Hi,
I have a NSTableView in a small BorderedScrollView. The table has only 1 column but many rows.
I can not say how many rows there will be or how wide the widest entry is, because the data is generated at runtime.
My goal is to keep the view small (240*100px). If necessary, scrollers should appear in both directions.
I cant get this right. Either the view gets to wide or the entries are truncated on the right.
I cant change the size of the TableView, as the numbers are greyed out in IB.
Can somebody point me in the right direction? How do I have to set this up?

to be more specific:
I dont know what value I should use as width of the Table Column, as it depends on data generated at runtime.
Is there a method to automatically set the width of the column to fit the widest cell?
Or can I calculate the width of a given string and set the with of the column accordingly?

Persistent Scrolling Problem

I have a two-finger scrolling problem with my 5- day- old Macbook (10.5, Firefox latest version). It was suggested in this forum that I turn off Horizontal scrolling. I did that, in fact I think I tried every combination of settings on the
Keyboard & Mouse page, but the scrolling is still erratic. It jumps and stalls and
then (occasionally) works. This happens on line or in documents. I wish I could determine if this is a software or a hardware problem. If it is hardware I need to return this unit real quick. I've been everywhere on the net looking for a software fix or update, but all I have found are add ons that will probably lead to more problems. I don't want to go through the aggravation of a return if I can help it.

ok, dude, dont treat my reply as answer, but im just suggesting..why dun u plug in a normal mouse for gaming anyway?
1)clicking a lot kills the batteries, and also wear out the clicking mechanism.
2)the scrolling is too sensitive on windows (my exp.) and it switches the weapon unexpectedly all the time (left 4 dead 2)
3)as u said, its windows! mac hates PC, just think about it, they intentionally hold up the start up time for windows on boot camp, so what quality do u expect with all the mac hardware on WINDOWS??
I personally plug in a different set of keyboard and mouse to play games on bootcamp, cos the keys are still confusing for me, and USB HIDs dont need batteries, be green!
