ThanksThere are several data dictionary views you can reference, including
* DBA/ALL/USER_OBJECTS
* DBA/ALL/USER_VIEWS
* DBA/ALL/USER_SOURCE (may contain text internally in the TEXT column)
* DBA/ALL/USER_ARGUMENTS
You will have to search the _SOURCE view line by line for packaged procedures and functions.  To search packages you will have to loop through the source lines one by one to search for the text you want
A query would look something like
select object_name
  from dba_objects
where object_name like '%COMPANY_NAME%';Edited by: riedelme on Sep 20, 2012 9:02 AM

  • Searching for movie data in file Name-FIN-00000001

    While starting up FCP (6.0.6) gives an error message "Searching for movie data in file Name-FIN-00000001".
    After 10 to 20 min FCP will start up.
    How do I get rid of this annoying error message when starting up?
    Thanks W.

    As Jim says, this is a render file. However, simply rendering it won't fix this. What is causing this error is a QT reference movie in the project. When you export a QT movie, and make don't make it self contained, it is a reference movie that references media files and render files. When a render file is deleted (FCP does this automatically when the render file is no longer needed) then the refrerence movie can no longer function... one file it references is gone. Simply re-rendering won't fix it, because it is referencing that SPECIFIC render file.
    You need to find and delete the QT Reference movie from your project.

  • How to search for a Class by incomplete name?

    Hello.
    Does anyone know if it is possible to get an instance of the Class object for a class that I don't have a fully qualified name for?
    For example, I want to get the object I would normally get by calling
    my.project.package.web.jsf.MyConstants.classexcept that I only have the "MyConstants" part of the name.
    Is it possible to somehow use the classloader to search for <i>my.project.package.web.jsf.MyConstants</i> class when I only have <i>MyConstants</i> to start with?
    Thanks.

    Besides, getting this to work is not really that important. At this point it mostly bothers me as a theoretical question. Can it be done?If you're asking whether it's possible to have a situation where you have two classes with the same name, but in different packages, and that the JVM can look at just the class name and figure out which of the two classes you really meant to use...well, sure, in that (I suppose) you could write something that would search the entire classpath looking for the matching classes, and then apply some heuristics with something like BCEL to try to guess which class you really meant to use. It'll be ugly code and it won't be foolproof, but if you really want it...there you go.
    Ultimately, there's a baseline of information that the JVM needs -- in this case the full name of the class. If you start with only partial information, you're going to have to provide some way to derive the full information. Information doesn't just pop into existence magically. The cleanest, easiest way to provide the information is to provide all of it to begin with. The second cleanest, easiest way is to prepend a standard package name. It gets uglier from there.
    You could do is design a custom classloader that specifies classes in a different way...but I suspect that you'd find that ugly as well.

    How do I search for a particular bookmark folder in Mac Safari 7.06?  Since there seems to be no automated way to sort the folders (as in other browsers), in a long list of folders, a particular one can be hard to spot.  Yes yes, very similar to a previous question of mine.  -jan

    Click "Help" menu in the Safari menu bar and enter the folder name in the search box.

    Sorry, I can't see how this is even vaguely related to Firefox support; other than you are using a 3rd party Toolbar in Firefox.

  • Search for Objects via Class Hierarchy

    Dear colleagues,
    For searching of an Object via a Class Hierarchy, Program SAPLCLSD screen 1000 release 4.7, a double click is required on the Class (left side of the screen) from which you want to see the Objects. If you do not click double, the view of the related Objects will not be recreated.
    Is it possible to avoid the double clicking?

    Hello Alpesh,
    Thank you for your response. The user asked whether the double click, needed for the show of the objects, related to a Class, can be done with a single click.
    They use transaction CL20N, input Class type, search for material with F4 search by Class input of a Class, then a tree of Classes will be shown. Select a Class, use button 'Include subordinate classes' and, if available, the related object(s) are shown.
    The issue is that when you select another Class, you have to double click on the selected Class to make the screen with Objects empty.
    Can we change the double click easy to a single click?

  • Search for objects assigned to "My Group" (Higher Duties)

    When searching for Business transactions Assigned to "My Group", when the user is CP Holds (higher duty) the user can only see the transactions assigned to his position like Owner (Business Partner), but not the transactions for the higher duty.
    We're using organization chart with integration with SAP ECC HR. In HR a Higher Duties is when an employee work for a period, in a position, which is not his or her own. This is a position with a higher classification and the employee receives a higher remuneration for this assignment. In CRM the IDOC synchronize correctly the employee in new position with the relationship "Higher Duty" in the organization chart.
    However, for this new assignment in the organization chart, when the user search the document assigned to "My Group", the system only show the document for the normal position and not for the Higher duty position.

    Answer from SAP: Higher duty is not supported by SAP in SAP CRM.
    However is a valid infotype in SAP ECC

  • Search for objects assigned to "My Groups"

    Hi guys
    In CRM 5.0, When searching for Business transactions Assigned to "My Groups", the user can only see the transactions assigned to the same organization units, but not the transactions for the subordinate organizational unit.
    Any idea?
    Regards,
    Lyda

    Hello Lyda,
    Som good information is contained in the 85 page FAQ attachment to SAP Note 882653, "Frequently Asked Questions about Agent Inbox". You might want to have a look at the mentioned BADI...
    "In case you have selected u201CMy Groupsu201D all employees of any group you are part of are taken into account. Your HR model therefore has a significant impact on the outcome of an inbox search. The responsible group displayed is not taken into account for the search!
    If you need another logic here, you may filter the search result using method AFTER_SEARCH of the CRM_IC_INBOX_BADI business add-in on  a project base."

  • Problem searching for data in database

    hello, im facing a problem here. Actually i have 2 files,jsp and a javabean file. The jsp files basically contains a few radio buttons and a text field. Now what im planning to do here is if user enter a value in the text field and selects the appropriate radio button, it will basically perform a search. The problem here is its not displaying any results although that particular data is in the database.
    Actually the real problem is its not passing the data to the javabean. This is how the statement looks like in the JSP file
    String field = request.getParameter("searchfield");
    ResultSet rs = ad.searchFirstName(field);
    searchfield = name of the text field
    ad = name of the usebean id
    searchFirstName = name of the method in the javabean that will perform this search function
    Now the javabean file
    public ResultSet searchFirstName(String field)
    This is how the method declaration looks like
    the sql statement is stated as below
    SELECT * from PersonalInfo where FirstName LIKE '%field%' order by FirstName;
    Everything ok(no errors in code) but i realise that its not displaying any data. i think its not passing the value from the jsp text field to the javabean. This is because if i replace the "field" with a data in the database, it displays the data. But if i dont, it just dont display any data. How can i pass a variable that user enter in the jsp text field file to a javabean file for processing..
    Pleaseee help..i have been working on this for quite some time. Thanks in advance..

    You might need something like this:
    String sql = "SELECT * from PersonalInfo where FirstName LIKE '%" + field + "%' order by FirstName";
    Even better would be to use a prepared Statement and preventing bad field value like M'Hael from ruining your code (the quote in the name would break your SQL statement)
    String sql = "SELECT * from PersonalInfo where FirstName LIKE ? order by FirstName";
    PreparedStatement stmt = connection.prepareStatement(sql);
    stmt.setString(1, "%" + field + "%");
    ResultSet rs = stmt.execute();Cheers,

  • How do I search for a song with the name I typed on my iPhone?

    I run into this a lot and it is extremely frustrating. I want to find a song like "Menuetti", but the search results end up with hundreds of variations of "Menuetto". Even though I know Menuetti is there somewhere, I can't find the song I am looking for because there is so much garbage returned. Is there any way to get the iTunes store to return the few songs with the name I asked for rather than the hundreds with the name I did not?

  • Script to create grants and synonyms for objects in database

    Hello,
    We are building a patch to be applied to the production environment. I want to create a script/sql query that builds a list of grants and synonyms for all the objects created after august 09.
    for ex:
    create or replace synonym abc for schema_name.abc;
    Grant execute on abc to user_xyz;
    How can I use Oracle's data dictionary to do this?
    thankz

    Hi,
    You'll probably want to use these views:
    user_objects - includes created (DATE) column.
    user_synonyms
    user_tab_privs - not just tables (e.g., includes EXECUTE privileges on functions).
    Data dictionary views beginning with 'user_' cover objects owned by the current user only.
    Almost all of the data dictionary views (and all of the three mentioned above) also have 'all_' and 'dba_' versions.
    For example:
    all_objects inculdes everything in user_objects, plus objects in other schemas on which the current user has privileges.
    dba_objects include every object in the database. (Not everyone is allowed to see the dba_ views.)
    Here's one of many possible ways to use these views:
    SELECT     'GRANT '
    ||     privilege
    ||     ' ON "'
    ||     table_name
    ||     '" TO '
    ||     grantee
    ||     CASE
              WHEN  grantable = 'YES'
              THEN  ' WITH GRANT OPTION;'
              ELSE  ';'
         END
    FROM     user_tab_privs
    WHERE     table_name  IN (          -- Only interested in objects created after August 9
                     SELECT  object_name
                     FROM    all_objects
                     WHERE   created >= TO_DATE ( '10-Aug-2009'
                                                           , 'DD-Mon-YYYY'

  • Can I search for a LIST of version names?

    I often have clients resent me with a list of photos they want. Sometimes this is over 100 photos from a couple thousand. Currently I just cut and paste one by one the name of the image into the search box and then mark that image as a select.
    Is there ANY way (fingers crossed) to expedite this? I WISH I could past a list of file names into the search box and get the list in return. Can anyone offer better advice for how to make this process more efficient?

    Say I have a project of 300 images and want to find say 10 images.
    While I can do this visually one at a time and add them to an album, I will be doing this fairly regularly.
    I'd like to give it a comma separated list of names and then click to create an album.
    I don't think this is possible at this time..

    I have a employee data base with 4 attributes

    i want to create a program/data structure, where by i can esily retrive
    1) number of employees joining in a given year
    2) number of employees joining in a given department in a given year

    What i am looking for is which collection should i use, Set/List/Map etc..Well.
    Does your data structure allow duplicate entries (i.e. is it meaningful if one element is contained twice in there?)
    Does the order of elements in your data structure matter?
    Is your data structure something that maps some key to some value?
    which one of these are most efficient in terms searching timeDoes that matter? Is that part of the assignment?
    And just because:
    class Employee {
      int empId
      String name
      int yearOfJoining
      int departmentNumber
      String toString() {
        String.format("Employee #%d: %s (%d, dept. %d)", empId, name, yearOfJoining, departmentNumber);
    def emps = [
      new Employee(empId: 1, name:"Foo", yearOfJoining:1980, departmentNumber: 1),
      new Employee(empId: 2, name:"Bar", yearOfJoining:1979, departmentNumber: 1),
      new Employee(empId: 3, name:"Baz", yearOfJoining:1980, departmentNumber: 2),
    println emps
    println emps.findAll({ it.yearOfJoining == 1980 }).size()
    println emps.findAll({ it.yearOfJoining == 1980 && it.departmentNumber == 1}).size()(I always wondered why there is no Collection.count(Closure) in Groovy. .findAll(Closure).size() seems so .... un-groovy)
