Search Help addition for Incoterm (Part 2) in sales order

Hello,
I am having one requirement in which I have to add search help for Incoterm (Part 2) I tried to do it in USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION in the MV45AFZZ but it is not getting triggered.
Please help me where to write the code for the search help.

    In the layout give layout-sel_mode  = 'A'.  and
    pass  'A'    to  i_save  exporting parameter to method  set_table_for_first_display.
    The same thing if you are working with function module
    reuse_alv_grid_display.

    Hi,
    I have created a search help. I need to create a search help exit for this search help.
    Please let me know how to create a search help exit as well as how to link it to my search help.

    1)Copy the FM F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE to write your own FM. (check the documentation and coding of FM F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE).
    2)write your code depending upon the functionality you want.
    3)attach the FM in search help through SE11 in "search help exit" field.
    A search help exit is a function module for making the input help process described by the search help more flexible than possible with the standard version.
    This function module must have the same interface as function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE. The search help exit may also have further optional parameters (in particular any EXPORTING parameters).
    A search help exit is called at certain timepoints in the input help process.
    Note: The source text and long documentation of the above-specified function module (including the long documentation about the parameters) contain information about using search help exits.
    Function modules are provided in the function library for operations that are frequently executed in search help exits. The names of these function modules begin with the prefix F4UT_. These function modules can either be used directly as search help exits or used within other search help exits. You can find precise instructions for use in the long documentation for the corresponding function module.
    This module has been created as an example for the interface and design of Search help exits in Search help.
    All the interface parameters defined here are mandatory for a function module to be used as a search help exit, because the calling program does not know which parameters are actually used internally.
    A search help exit is called repeatedly in connection with several events during the F4 process. The relevant step of the process is passed on in the CALLCONTROL step. If the module is intended to perform only a few modifications before the step, CALLCONTROL-STEP should remain unchanged.
    However, if the step is performed completely by the module, the following step must be returned in CALLCONTROL-STEP.
    For more detailed information please refer to the documentation describing the concept of the search help exit.
    The module must react with an immediate EXIT to all steps that it does not know or does not want to handle.

    I developed a search help exit for material group for the search helps both H_T023 and H_2023_MEPO to restrict certain material groups from the actual display as follows
    1)  I developed custom table to hold the Invalid material groups
    2) Developed search help as same as in the bellow link

    This is working fine when we press F4 in ME21N Transaction and give some description and then press enter the popup screen.
    But my requirement is user will enter some description in ME21N material group field and press enter ( Not pressing the F4 here) at this moment this is not going through the search help exit and displaying all the entries including the Invalid materials.
    Note: We can delete the Invalid material groups but the documents which are having the invalid material already will have an issue and need to be corrected all the documents. But our requirement is only to use the correct materials  groups from now onwards.
    I would appropriate if any one can helping this regard.

    You can call your ZSEARCH_HELP from the PAI , on the event SY-UCOMM = Enter using the function module F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST.
    For example, your screen field is MARA-ZXXXX, screen 0100 and search help :  ZSEARCH_HELP
      CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST'
        EXPORTING
          tabname                   = 'MARA'
          fieldname                  = 'ZXXXX'
          searchhelp               = 'ZSEARCH_HELP '

  • PCUI 4.0, Search Help Required for New field

    Hi everyone
    I am working in CRM 4.0 Sales Order application
    We created a new field in CRM sales Order in Header level in SAP GUI through EEWB.
    The search help for the new field is working fine in SAP GUI. We want to add the same field with F4 help functionaliity in PCUI as well.
    The field has been added in structure CRMT_BSP_SLS_OD1_General. It also shows domain value for the field however Origin of input field ie empty
    The field has been added in PCUI and is successfully showing data inputted in SAPGUI
    However we need search help functionality for the field
    i tried these two steps
    1) i checked on domain value checkbox and changed the field from input to dropdown. However the dropdown is empty in PCUI. Whenever i check box domain values for some field then all the possible values in SPA GUI are displayed in PCUI, however this is not working here.
    2) I put Value_table in F4 of the field
    This is also throwing up empty values
    Am i missing something in this case
    Please let me know how to go about it

    Thanks for your response
    I am not sure what is meant by regenerating the field group in this case
    I added the entries for my view in the field group and generated the layout of the field group (If this is what you mean)
    The field is working fine. I am able to save values to the field and able to see values saved in GUI.
    I haven't linked search help of the field in PCUI
    I am not sure how to go about it.
    I used the data element in the structure for the field.
    The data element has Domain entry in <b>Entry Help/Check</b> of the structure
    If i check the Domain Value checkbox in my field group then the domain values should be available in dropdown if the field is dropdown
    However i am not able to see the possible values of the field (It is present in SAP GUI)
    Does something else needs to be done in this case

    Hi MM experts,
    Issue: Can we create two POs for the same 3rd party Sales Order
    In Third party purchase process, first sales order created with a spl. item category  and it creates the PR automatically with the Sales order material and Qty and this PR converted PO.
    They got a pur.req. for sale order on same item for same delevery date. They did not get any warning msg. saying that a PO was prviously placed against this sale order.
    How it is possible that we were able to place another PO? concern is that second PO was palced against SO which was already used & completed. they were able to place 2 POs for the same customer same delevery date. How it is possible?
    If anyone face the same issue, please let me know if you have any answer to this questions.

    It is hard for me to give you a definitive answer since you have created a customized solution.
    How it is possible that we were able to place another PO? concern is that second PO was palced against SO which was already used & completed. they were able to place 2 POs for the same customer same delevery date. How it is possible?
    Normally, the system will not do this.  A third party PR or PO will be 'account assigned' to the Sales order.  SAP standard 3rd party will not create additional purchase reqs unless there has been manual intervention.  Try searching for changes in the Sales order and changes in the original purchase order.  They may give you a clue.
    I believe the normal Item category for third party SO is TAS (I am working from memory here, I am not in front of a system).  I don't know what ZTAG does.  I confess I am not an SD expert.  You might also want to post your question in an SD forum.
    You mention two custom applications, ZMMPLAN and ZSTPMP.  These somehow have functionality that is used to help you convert your PRs to POs.  If I were in your position, I believe I would also look at these applications for clues to how they might be contributing to your problem.  And please don't send me details about these apps.  I will not comment on custom code in this forum.

  • Help required in mapping Materials , Quotation and Sales order

    Hi,
    We need your help for the following requirement
    There is a vehicle model and colours for these models
    Company gets sales plan from dealers for vehicle model and later dealer confrms  the PO Qty with model and required colour.
    I need to map this in SAP.
    I am proposing to create a Quotation for the sales plan from dealers with vehicle model and when company recieves PO , they will create Sales order with reference to Quotation.
    The challenge i need to get all the colours ( finished materials ) for that model, currenttly all models and finished materials are managed in product heirarchy.
    When i create order with reference to quotation..........the dealer should able to get the list of colours ( materials ) in the system for that model ( i am planning to create material masters for these models as well)....Please help me how to map this in SAP SD
    i am just guessing if higher level item category concept can help .......or please suggest feasible solution
    When he creates sales order with reference to quotation, instead of model ( mateial ) from the qtn ..........dealer should get the list of end prodcuts ( colours ) for the model in the sales order so that he chooses the required colour and saves SO.
    Actually this is a portal driven project and SO creation is also integrated inthe portal for the dealers.

    Hi there,
    You said that the sales order process is done through the portal through the dealers?  We are currently looking at a similar requirement from a customer perspective to create an online store sort of feel integrating the S/D module.
    Can you share any ideas, things you did for portal integration?  Web Dyn Pro application, Visual Composer, gave portal access to the dealers to S/D transactions?

    To have a push buttons you need to first assign a pf-status .
    here a sample code for a push button and its handling :

    This is very simple.
    You can go to transaction NACE
    Now click on Output Types, here against your output type you can see what is the smart form attached in the field processing requirements.
    If its order confirmation, it would either be standard BA00 or a copy of that, maybe the naming convention would help you.
    Also If you click on the extreme left hand button in NACE, you can see against your output type what are the records maintained, and under communication tab, you could get to see the printer setting.

    I am creating automatically purchase requisition on the sales order with NLAG material type.
    My problem is system asking Val.Price for the requisition on the sales order. I don't want the this screen when sales order create.
    My Purchase Req. Doc Type = NB

    Hi Gulay,
    The error is coming because you have not maintained Accouting view of this material for teh plant, from where you want to procure/ship the material.
    Or even after you have maintained the Accouting view, Material price (Moving avegare price when price control is V must be Zero)
    Kindly check the master data records.
    This will resolve your issue.

       Actually your question is some confusing, but if u want to get eldest change as active sales order then logic is as follows:
    1.  On base of OBJNR u have to get UDATE from JCDS table
    2. then write logic as:
    SORT i_jcds BY objnr stat chgnr DESCENDING.
          LOOP AT i_jcds INTO wa_jcds1.
            CLEAR lv_stat.
            lv_stat = wa_jcds1-stat.
            AT NEW objnr.
              AT NEW stat.
                CLEAR: wa_tab.
                wa_tab-objnr = wa_jcds1-objnr.

              ENDAT.
