Search resources based on created date

Hi,
I am unable to search the resources based on creation date.
I used the code as follows.
sqb = new SearchQueryListBuilder();
Timestamp ts3 = new Timestamp(d3.getTime());
String searchCreDt = "default:created(value>"ts3.toString()")";
sqb.setSelectedCustomProps(searchCreDt);
qel = sqb.buildSearchQueryList();
// where d3 is the Date object.
I am able to get the using sqb.setSelectedStartDate(d1); and sqb.setSelectedEndDate(d2);
I am able to get the string type as follows,
String searchAnd = "default:modifiedby(value=" + modByTxt + ")," + "default:createdby(value=" + creByTxt + ")";
sqb.setSelectedCustomProps(searchAnd);
I need the sample code for getting the resources between from and to dates.

Please provide me some input.

  • Workflow based on created date field in opportunity?

    Hi All,
    Can we write a workflow based on created date field in opportunity that if a opportunity record has not been modified after say 90 days,what will be the workflow syntax.
    I just want an email notification to owner and owner's manager.
    Thanks in advance,
    Manish.

    I think you can use the WAIT workflow using Duration('P90D') then Send Email, triggering it upon save and upon modification. Make sure that the Re-evaluate Rule Conditions After Wait option is checked so that the previous WAIT would be reset upon modification.

  • What is correct format to pass Today as created date parameter

    I have created TFS data set (as drill through report) which is displaying all bugs based on created date. Now, I want to pass date range as parameter from main report so drill through report displays data for the bugs created between given date range. I
    am getting error "string.. can not be converted to date type" I am using following formatting expression at drillthrough report parameter:
    ="[Work Item].[System_CreatedDate].&[" + FORMAT(Parameters!FromWorkItemSystemCreatedDate, "yyyy-MM-dd") + "T00:00:00]"
    Please let me know what type of expression should be used to avoid error. I tried with using CDate()  instead of FORMAT but still getting problem.

    Hi gajeshm,
    According to your description, you want to format the parameter like a date and concatenate the string into a member. Right?
    In Reporting Services, only a date-like string can be converted into a date with a format. In this scenario, the issue is on the string in the parameter as the error message mentioned. If this string can't be recognized as a date, it can never be converted
    into a date. You string should be like "2011/1/1", "2011-1-1","January 1, 2011" and so on. If your string is not like these, you can use left(), right() or other Text functions
    to cut the string and concatenate it into date-like. Then convert and format the string.
    Here are some tips when you working on this scenario:
    If possible, set the Date/Time type for your parameter.
    If it's a multiple value parameter, use =parameters!xxxx.Value(0) in your expression.
    If you just want  to use today as parameter to format, you can use now() instead of using a parameter.

  • Batch search strategy based on goods receipt date

    Hello,
    Can some one help me with setting up Batch search strategy based on goods receipt date currently is on batch number.
    Thanks a lot
    Thanks!
    Best Regards
    Srw

    Hi
    If you want to set up Batch search strategy based on goods receipt date......then you have to create GR Date as one charecteristics in T.Code: CT04 and assign this charecter in Class with respect to class type  023
    Then assign this class in Material Master Classification view..
    Make sure in Material master, Purchasing view...you have activated Batch management active check box....
    Then when ever you do GR in MIGO, In batch tab, In classification field maintain the GR Date..
    Then Create sort sequence in  T.Code: CU70 and you can maintain in what basis ie)in assending or desending GR Date you have to search the batch..
    And then Create Batch Search Statergy in MBC1 and there you assign the sort sequence in Details...
    Now  you do your regular procedings.....the material Batch will be searched based on GR Date...
    Reward if useful

  • OutLook 2007 Macro to create Folder Based on Received Date

    Dear All,
    Is it possible to create a macro which will automatically create a folder based on Received Date of the mail and then group these mails (in folders) based on the received month….
    Can someone help me with the VBA Coding for Outlook 2007, where I select a folder and the macro creates folder’s and subfolder based on the received month and date-wise folder (based on the received date of the mail).
    Thanks...

    Yes, it is possible, but why would you want to split up your emails like that?
    Note that you can also do a simply search query to find all emails received within a certain month. For instance, when you want to see all emails which you received in July 2013 type the following in the Search Field:
    received:(July 2013)

  • Creating parameter based on Submit Date from Remedy ITSM

    I am new to creating Crystal Reports and I am using Crystal Reports XI. I am pulling information from BMC Remedy ITSM through an ODBC connection. I have created a report from HPD_Help_Desk that pulls the Incident Number, Submit Date, Submitter, Owner and Description. I am not having any problems pulling the information from the tables. The issue that I am running into is creating a new parameter field that can be used so that when the people that will be running this report can pull information based on a date range of the submit date. When the report is run, it pulls the datetime from Remedy ITSM in a mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss format with AM or PM on the end. I have created a parameter named Date Range that has a static list of values. The Type of the parameter is Date Time. The Value Field is Submit_Date. I have selected true for allowing custom values and allowing range values. The objective is to have the person running the report type in the datetime range such as Start of Range Value: 11/22/2009 00:00:00AM and End of Range Value: 11/28/2009 23:59:59PM so that they get all data for Incidents created from the start of the day on the 22nd to through the end of the day on the 28th providing 1 weeks worth of data. I know selection criteria can be used to run for the previous full week, but this will not help if people want to check on historical data. When the parameter is added to the report, it requests the datetime ranges be entered in a yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss format. I have entered in datetime ranges and it will not filter the data. I receive data back for all dates even outside the range requested. I have attempted to change the format of the Submit Date within the report to match what the parameter is asking for and receive the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for the feedback Carl. Again, I am new to this, so please be patient with me. I am not sure what you mean about adding the parameter to the record selection formula. I have drug the parameter field into the report so that it will prompt for parameters before running, but I do not think that is what you are talking about. Please advise.
    To your question about the Submit Date field in the report, when I open up the report and I point at the field for Submit Date the popup shows HPD_Help_Desk.Submit_Date (DateTime). That being the case, I think the answer to your question is that the data type of the data being returned is DateTime. Thanks again for the assistance.

  • How to create a filter based on Effective date EFFDT

    Hello to all,
    I am currently creating reports from an HR database that stores records by employee (EMPLID) based on effective date(EFFDT) and Effective Sequence (EFFSEQ).
    It is easy to get a report that shows all entries up to a certain data (using <= or >=), however, I am not able to create a Filter (in the report or in the prompt)
    that shows me the MAX(EFFDT) up to a certain data dd/mm/yyyy. (any one)
    The sql script we use is the follwiing
    SELECT A.EFFDT, A.EFFSEQ, A.ACTION, A.EMPL_CLASS, *
    FROM PS_JOB A
    WHERE A.EMPLID=' ' ----*(PROMPT1)*
    AND A.EFFDT=(SELECT MAX(B.EFFDT) FROM PS_JOB B
    WHERE B.EMPLID=A.EMPLID
    AND B.EFFDT<=' ') *(PROMPT2)*
    AND A.EFFSEQ=(SELECT MAX(B.EFFSEQ) FROM PS_JOB B
    WHERE B.EMPLID=A.EMPLID
    AND B.EFFDT=A.EFFDT)
    Do I need to create a variable? If yes, How?
    Please send me your suggestions or past experiences with BI on the subject.
    Thanks
    Roberto

    Hi Roberto,
    I would create a session variable via the Oracle BI Administration Tool.
    See the following of how to achieve this:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12096_01/books/admintool/admintool_Variables4.html
    Reference this variable in your filter. It looks something like this VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION."VARIABLE_NAME")

  • Create a record based on From date and To Date in CRM 2015 Plugins

    Hi all
    in my account screen i have two date field from date and Todate and i have one child entity member when i am creating a
    new account then based on from date and to date number of child record should be created
    for example in account screen
    if from date=2/1/2015 and
       To date=31/03/2015
    then number of child record should be created
    in this manner
    from date      to date
    2/1/2015       31/01/2015
    01/02/2015     28/02/2015
    1/03/2015      31/03/2015

    Hi,
    OK. It seems you want to create 3 records (custom child entity) where the first has the same From Date as the Account and goes up to the end of the month, and the other records go from there.
    This logic can be implemented via a Plugin that could run on the create and update of these fields on Accounts. From the Plugin, you can set up the logic and fill the records with the necessary information.

  • Creating report based on master data

    Hi Guys,
    I want to create a specific report based on master data in BI cube. for example... a report which takes cost center and period as variable and display expenses for that period and cost center. This report I want to create for all cost center in BI database separately. any idea how can we do this?
    There are 2000 cost centers and I need to print/send 2000 reports one for every cost center.
    If I store all cost center in excel file, can it be easier?
    broadcasting and creating 2000 schedule - not option.
    Thanks..SM

    Hi  stuti misra,
    Create ONE Query with selection Cost Center and Period are inputs.
    Create text variables for Cost Center and Period and add in Query Description.
    After query execution you can see description based on selection in workbook or webtemplate.
    Hope it Helps

  • Creating a SSRS Form Letter based on a Data Query

    I have done LOTS of SSRS Data Extract Reports...but this is the first time I have ever been requested to create a form letter and substitute data into a form letter that will be mailed out to a group of members within our database.
    Can someone provide me a link, be it YouTube or other, that kind of walks me through this process? SSRS Form Letters 101...just want to make sure I follow protocol and standard as to go about doing this. Do I create a SSRS Dataset...SQL Server Stored Procedure
    to get the result set? How do I apply the data elements to the letter?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for your review and am hopeful for a reply.
    Thanks!

    Hi ITBobbyP,
    According to your description, you want to create a form letter and send to a group of members in SSRS, the data is retrieved from database.
    In Reporting Services, we can create a form letter by using List control, then we can use a table to show detailed information. For detail information, please refer to the following steps:
    Create a blank report, then create a dataset used to retrieve data.
    In Toolbox, click List and then drag the list inside the report body.
    Add textboxes or tablix to list to hold the content or detail information.
    Drag fields from dataset to the report.
    Set layout and look of the report as needed.
    In addition, Reporting Services provides data-driven subscriptions so that you can customize the distribution of a report based on dynamic subscriber data. Data-driven subscriptions use query results to determine the recipients of the subscription, delivery
    settings, and report parameter values.

  • Problem creating a 'used sources' list based on EXIF data in InDesign CS5

    Hello everyone,
    I recently started to use InDesign CS5 to work on school projects. These projects regularly require us to have a list of sources, not only for citations and referenced work, but also for images. As I sometimes make quite long documents, keeping track of what image is where, and where I got it from, gets tedious.
    I had the idea of generating a caption based on EXIF data, which I'd move to the pasteboard, and group it with the image. The text in the caption has a seperate, numbered paragraph style. On one of the last pages, I generate a table of contents, which the numbered paragraph style selected. I chose to display it using another paragraph style, without page numbers.
    What I want to have as the end result is:
    Table of contents
    1. <Title>. <Author> (<Creation Date>). Retrieved <Date Placed> through <Description>
    The captions display correctly, as shown above in the body of the table of contents. The table of contents itself however, shows only the numbering in front of it, and not the variables.
    I already tried converting the live captions to static captions, but that doesn't work. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

  • Can you create a javascript dynamic menu based on security data in oracleDB

    I am looking for a dynamic javascript menu that is generated based on the user role... basically i get the user role from ldap and then I have a Security table in oracle data base that has the permission info and i want to generate my dynamic menu based on the data in the database table.... the table has the following columns
    private String userId;
    private String security_level; // page level , field level
    private String permission; //CRUD
    private String permissionType; //ALLOW, DENY

    Hello Suzie,
    It is possible but you have "many" ways to do it, since what will happen is the javascript will be generated by an application.
    Are you developing a J2EE application? with or without JSF?
    The best way will be to Google to find a good Javascript menu library, and adapt the generation of it based on the content of your database.

  • Create report based on JSON data

    Dear All,
    I'm on Oracle APEX 4.1 and Oracle 11g. I'm receiving JSON data in my application and would like to print report based on JSON data without storing it in any table.
    Can you please suggest best way to achieve it?
    Regards,
    Chintan

    Hi,
    in 4.1 you can for example use the open source PL/JSON library (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pljson/) to parse JSON.
    In APEX 5.0, we currently plan to add a JSON API package that e.g. can be used to convert JSON to XML. Here is an example:
    SQL> select col1, col2
      2  from xmltable (
      3      '/json/row'
      4      passing apex_json.parse('[{"col1": 1, "col2": "hello"},{"col1": 2, "col2": "world"}]')
      5      columns
      6          col1 number path '/row/col1',
      7          col2 varchar2(5) path '/row/col2' );
                    COL1 COL2
                       1 hello
                       2 world
    At the last OOW, it was also announced that the RDBMS will provide native support. That should be the preferred option in the future.

  • Payment Terms based on Value Date (UDF)

    Hi, is it possible and if how? I want to create a new Payment Term based on a value date which is maybe months ahead. So the docduedate is after this value date but the document shall already go into accounting.
    how is this easily possible?

    Hello,
    If you mean that the payment due date in the payment terms should be calculated on the basis of some date specified in a udf, it is not possible.
    But what you can do is use formatted search to calculate the due date based on the udf. apply this formatted search in due date field.
