Search Webdynpro Application View using external Search Engine

I need to search my Webdynpro Views (pages) from an external search engine eg Google. How to achieve this?

Did you get any values in lv_search ?
Because while using value nodes for search view (which inherits from advance search controller class), the above method does not return any search values entered in the fields.
Please let me know how did you solve it.

Calling a Webdynpro Application in using WDURLGenerator.getApplicationURL

I have to call a webdynpro application in an external window using the application name. Please note that no iViews are created out of the application which i am going to call.
I have DC1 and DC2 and from the Comp Controlller of DC1 , i need to invoke the application in DC2.

I would like to add that Comcast is my internet provider. Perhaps that is part of the issue although the Connection Doctor confirms the mail box is connecting to the internet. No other function processes when Connection Doctor program is used to find the source of the issue. I have read forum posts but am unable to find a way to get my Apple mail to be delivered to my computer. It worked fine up until I chose to transfer mail to the Cloud. My mail account is a .mac account.
Still hoping someone out there can help me.

AVG Secure Search appears when I use Google Search from my Home page only.

My home page is the Firefox default page with the Google searchbar. I like getting occasional messages from Firefox when I log in so I don't want to change my homepage. However, when I use the searchbar ''on my homepage only'', I get the unsatisfactory AVG Secure Search results.
UPDATE: I now realize all the troubleshooting information I included in my original question appears under the "More System Details" link next to the question, not in the body of the question. I have copied it here to make it easier to see what I have already done to try to solve the problem, as well as describe the one clue I have that may be relevant:
I have tried all the fixes on various threads, but my about:config is now pristine (no avg or isearch mentions; keyword.url is default). Closest solution is that at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/866327 , which requires changing my home page.
Oddly, AVG Secure Search is ''not'' a problem when I use the Google toolbar or search from the Google website, only when I use the search bar that appears on my home (start) page. This is true even when I return to my home page--if I search from the Google search bar in the middle of the page, I get sent to AVG Safe Search. (isearch.avg.com).
I read in one thread a suggestion to delete my chromeappsstore.sqlite file in my Profile folder. As promised, Firefox created a new one when I restarted it; however, the search bar in the middle of my home home page did not work at all. Tried this three times before restoring my original.
I do not have an application that will open a sqlite file, but I tried doing so in Excel and found a cell containing the following:

Problem in Running a Webdynpro Application Which uses itext.jar

Hi,
I have created a Webdynpro DC which uses a DC called xxx_lib which contains the external JAR Files. (itext.jar etc)
This JAR file is in my library path as well.
I have added the lib_dc as used DC under the webdynpro DC.
The Compilation and build went fine without any error. But when in run the Application Under ---> Content Administration --> Webdynpro , I am getting the following Error.
The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:
<b>java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/lowagie/text/Element
Failed to create delegate .....
(Hint: Is the corresponding DC deployed correctly? Does the DC contain the component?)</b>
Please let me know if somebody knows the solution.

Problem acessing webdynpro applications deployed using SDM

Dear All,
We have two seperate boxes for ECC 5.0 and (WEBAS + EP).
I am trying to run ESS and MSS on portal.
I downloaded BP for ESS/MSS 100(for souce cose) and ESS/MSS 60.1(iview and other content) both.
I deployed them both through SDM.
I maintained all required JCo connection with ECC system as my target system.
I maintained SAP_WEBDYNPRO_XSS system as my WAS system.
I can see ESS/MSS roles and pages etc in portal.
Also in webdynpro content administration i can see all deployed service i.e. ess/ar/pdata etc.
When i select any of the service, and drip down to application node, i get error
"Failed to find classpath for sap.com/ess~ben"
or whatever service i select.
when i run the application i get attached error.
if you have any clue.. what is missing?

Hi Guys,
We create WebDynpro application that contains three views.
We want to publish each view to a portal iview.But when we create WebDynpro iview , it only shows the application default view.How can we show the other two views as iview in the portal?

U can create the Iview by using the application name only not to directly.
I think it is not not possible.
Or otherwise create three applications and create three appplication assing into one page of three columns.

I have an external application, from which an existing webdynpro application should be accessed.
Is there any way i can access WebDynpro application through an URL, so that i can access the same from the external application.
I have to pass a parameter also in the url from extrenal application for which that data should be displayed.

You can call a web dynpro application from an external app by using the web dynpro application url.
Go to WD application in studio and look at the properties tab, you will find the url.
It should be something like this:
http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/<namespace>/<dc name>/<application name>

Searching for a term using the Search tab in HTML Help doesn't find all relevant topics.

I'm using the Search tab in the HTML Help window to search for a few words. But those words are not being located within the topics. For example, one of the words for which I am searching is Australian. I can find the topic that contains that word using the Contents tab. But the Search tab doesn't find it. I have even tried copying the word from that topic into the Search box but it is not found.
Is there a known bug in HTML Help search capabilities?

Is this a stand alone CHM file or is it merged? If it is merged, does the word appear in the search in the CHM containing the topic is searched? I assume you've checked that your Stop List doesn't contain the word being searched?

1. Passing 2 values to RFC
2. Getting result contents from RFC and displayed in a table.
I am getting following errors:

You need configure SLD and JCo destinations in your j2ee engine..

WebDynpro Application is Using POWL Table

Hello Expert,
I have a query. We have a Standard Webdynpro application "HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI" which is using a POWL component . The output table in screen comes.
We have a requirement we need to add some extra columns to the table and also need to hide some existing columns.
As far as I know we can achieve this by changing the POWL query. But i am not able to find which query is being used for this application.

I understand that " If I need to add extra columns to my table in this "HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_MSS" application I have to add those in the structure HAP_T_WD_DOCUMENTS and to populate those columns we need to add code in IF_POWL_FEEDERGET_OBJECT_DEFINITION and IF_POWL_FEEDERGET_OBJECT methods. And If I have a column with radio button then I have to define the action in IF_POWL_FEEDER~GET_ACTIONS method.
Please let me know if I am wrong anywhere in my understanding.
Also I think we can the existing columns from the POWL table without any coding via admin personalization.
And I am not able to see the link for change query when I am executing the application in admin mode.

How to search tables and views used in the code of oracle fmb 6i from another form???

Hii guys, this is a very interesting question and i hope that it will have ample amount of answers.
My requirement is to know the number of tables and views and backend functions/procedures which are used in the code written in the oracle forms 6i,
all i want is to display whole views, tables or functions/procedures which are written in the code of a particular fmb, i do have the path of that fmb and i want to read the code and search through it's entire code for the tables/views/backend procedures/functions written in the code. So how to search through the entire code of a particular form (6i) and make it display through another form.
I am using oracle forms 6i.
Please help me out....

Using external search without RoboHelp server

Is it possible to index pages external to your project in
order to conduct searches without having RoboHelp Server?

From what I understand, the (PPT, DOC, XLS, TXT, and PDF)
files would have to be included in the project, either in baggage
files or placed in the root of your project folder on the server.
Here is a snip from the online help regarding this:

So it seems that a link to an external file via HTTP or FTP
would not be indexed. I will try to seek further clarification on
this, but that's the way I read it.

Unresponsive icons found in Windows Search entries especially when using Files search category.

I recently experienced a problem when searching for settings in the search bar. There are entries with "new page/blank" icons that will pop into the panel. Thinking that the blank icons are not supposed to be there (settings are commonly displayed

What do you search and what ‘new page/blank’ do you mean?
Please take the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. Try to search for a file or program like calculator and check it displays normally.
2. Please create and log on as new account and then check if the issue still exists.
