Second subscription install to MacbookPro

First subscription copy to Win 7 installed with no problem, second copy to Mac does not work.
I logged in to my CC acount and selected PSCC to download which downloaded the Creative Cloud downloader. I installed that and than selected PSCC to install which it did. I now started PSCC and it requests "signin with your Adobe ID which I did. It now requests a serial Number. Where In the H is it. It is not listed in any of the emails I have received from adobe. It is not listed in MY CC Account. The tech support chat was useless, the tech? acted like he did not know what was happening and said something about a bug in the installer and passed me off to another tech who did not seem to know any more than the first one.He kept asking questions that I had to leave the chat to go answer. Finally the chat dropped out. I gave up for the night.
ADOBE! GET YOUR TECH SUPPORT BACK IN SAN JOSE WHERE THE TECHS SPEAK ENGLISH AS A FIRST LANGUAGE AND ARE TRAINED. NOT READING FROM CRIB SHEETS.
Got the problem solved, maybe not the easiest way but it did the job. I removed the SSD from the MBP and did a secure erase on it from another computer. Reinstalled the SSD and did a restore from Apple download of 10.8.4 so I now had a clean computer with no traces of trials left on it. Reinstalled the Creative Cloud application which reinstalled PSCC and Bridge. This allowed signin and activation.
ALL GOOD NOW!

Hi. I've seen this before. You may need to set a correlation_ID. You can refer to the Workflow API Reference - try the following:
If you have one subscription set at phase 100, create a new subscription and set it to phase 101, set your other subscription to phase 102.
For the new subscription, set the Action to 'Custom' and type WF_EVENT_FUNCTIONS_PKG.AddCorrelation.
Hope this helps!

    Hello,
the "uname" command is part of the coreutils package on RHEL. Please check if the coreutils package is installed:
rpm -qa | grep -i coreutils
If the coreutils package is not installed you can install it with
    yum install coreutils

If you registered the product then it should be in My Software in when you sign into Adobe.com with your Adobe ID.

    Hello,
    1. The limit is per account per day.
    2. No but you can if you create a second account and buy a Subscription on that as the limit is per account per day.

  • Trying to install on MacBookPro with Parallels and Windows 8.1. Downloaded the CreativeCloud.exe but says I can't install from network drive

I sometimes like to use Photoshop CC and Lightroom on the Windows side of my MacBookPro with Parallels. I had to reinstall Parallels and also Windows 8.1 recently and am trying to reinstall some of the software that I had previously on the Windows side. I downloaded the CreativeCloud.exe program and when I try to install it from the Windows side, get a message that I can't install Creative Cloud from a network drive. Where can I put the CreativeCloud.exe so I can install it?
    Thanks!

You probably need to check your drive setup for the Parallels environment. Nothing to do with Adobe.

  • Second Panther Install Disk not recognized

I am trying to reinstall OS 10.3 from the original, full retail version CDs, doing a complete clean install.
I have successfully installed disk one, but then when prompted to insert disk 2, I do so and nothing happens.
I don't think it is a problem with my CD or the drive because:
    1. The CD is clean.
    2. My G4 reads it fine.
    3. The other CDs have worked, including the first install disk.
So I chose to cancel the rest of the installation.
The computer boots up all right as is, but then it won't eject the second install CD. So I restarted and pushed the eject button on the keyboard during restart to get it out.
Once the computer is restarted again, I put disk 2 back in, to see if I can install that way. Same problem, but now it not only won't read the disk (although the CD drive is making plenty of noise trying to), but it also slows everything else down to a grinding halt. The finder takes MINUTES to open and close windows. But again, the CD won't eject, so I have to push the eject button during another restart. Once the CD is out, the OS runs smoothly again.
    My questions are:
    1. What is going on?
    2. How do I get my computer to recognize this disk?
    3. Can I work around this problem by copying the installer package files from my G4 (which CAN read the CD) to the iBook (which gags on the CD)?
    4. Are there any other suggestions?
    Help!

I tried creating a disk image to copy the second install disk as you suggested, but about halfway through the process, I got this error message:
    "Stop. Input/Output Error"
Does this confirm that the disk itself is corrupt? I followed the step-by-step instructions on the Apple support pages, just to be sure I did everything right.
Sooo, if the CD has some problem with it, and yet my G4 can read it (but apparently cannot copy it), I have another question:
Will I be able to run the installer on my G4 while using the iBook as my Target Disk ? I can't figure out how that would work. (I already have a firewire connection between the two computers.)
    Thanks for your help.

  • IGrabber won't install on MacBookPro 2011

I use iGrabber to transfer my VHS tapes to CDs. It is version OSX 1.4.6 and I'm trying to install on my MacBookPro 2011 and it's telling me it can't install. It works fine on my iMac.

Did you upgrade your Hard Drive at some point? I discovered upon trying to upgrade my Intel Mac Mini to leopard that I had been using a HD with an Apple Partition Map, which was default on a HD upgrade I had installed. It worked fine with Tiger, but Leopard would not install. Leopard requires the GUID Partition Table on the hard drive. You can check it with disk utility.
If that is the case, my solution was to clone my drive to an external HD, reformat my internal drive with GUID, then clone back and install leopard. (if you do the straight upgrade, be careful to remove all APE application enhancers from you Tiger system 1st. I didn't & got the blue screen)

  • Adobe Reader 9 will not install on MacBookPro

After downloading the proper Adobe Reader 9 for my MacBookPro (Intel processor), I get the message " Adobe Reader 9 cannot be installed on this computer. Make sure your system meets the requirements." Anyone else have the same problem? Please help.
    Suresh

OK, I just realized the mix up in my earlier posting/s :-(
The *****.ppc.pkg is the powerpc version which I had downloaded earlier and the ******.i386 is the intel version which is the correct version for my MacBookPro. I use Firefox browser, and at first I thought that since Adobe was not in its list of allowed sites, it was preventing installation. However that is not the case, since the problem persists even after I added Adobe to the list of allowed sites, and even when I downloaded using Safari!
Mike, yes, I have rebooted a number of times, but have not yet tried to reinstall the OS from the disc. I do not quite understand what you mean by different administrative user; I am the only user. I just downloaded applejack and supposedly it was installed on volume HD, but I do not see it anywhere! Another mystery.

  • Leopard won't install on MacBookPro

I purchased the Leopard family pack, and installed Leopard without incident on an Intel iMac. However, on my MacBookPro, the installer cannot seem to find a valid disk to install Leopard on. The screen remains blank, and cannot continue. Strange, because no problems were discovered with the disk in Tiger (Disk Utility, Disk Warrior both).
There is 33 gigs of free space, should be plenty.
any thoughts as to cause/solution? I am puzzled.
    Thanks!

  • Second Copy Install and Latest LR Version

I will be spending a good proportion of my time in France from next month and so will install a desktop PC there, so that I have one in London and one in France.
I know that I can install a second copy of LR on my Machine in France since I obviously cannot use them both at the same time. But, if my LR version on the installation disk is, say V3.0 and the latest version is 3.9, can I download 3.9 and use my reg key on that? Or must I install from the DVD and then upgrade?
I could just try it but I want to keep the new machine as pristine as I can without redundant files for a start at least!

Just install the latest version and use your key. No need to install from disk.

  • Install on macbookpro

nobody knows how install apple works on macbookpro?
    thanks for all

AppleWorks has been 'end-of-lifed' and is no longer sold or supported by Apple. However you may be able to buy it from eBay or other vendors: you should try to get version 6.2.9, or if you get an earlier version of v6 I believe the updater is still available.
If you actually have a copy of AppleWorks installed on another of your computers you can copy the AppleWorks folder (not just the application) across to the MacBook: to stay within the terms of the licence you should then delete it from the older computer.
As a long-term user (15 years) and fan of Apple Works I am reluctant to say this, but if you are starting afresh you might want to consider not using a program whose future life-span may be limited, and for which there is no support, and whose files cannot (with a couple of exceptions) be opened by other programs.
If you don't need a database, and your spreadsheets are not too complex, you can do a good deal in iWork 09 which is an attractive program: its 'Pages' module can open AppleWorks word processing files provided they do not contain any Draw objects.
